FDS has covered many times about dealing with pick me friends and acquaintances. FDS has also talked about BDSM and what is entailed in the association with it. I shared my experience in detail as it does inform others what to look out for and what happens when toxic individuals like my roommate show up in our lives.

Bad choices?? What bad choices have I made? I did follow the advice of laying back and seeing what initiative he takes and what effort he puts in. I did like him. Also, what follow up would have been appropriate for him to say exactly? We won’t see each other for a few months so what would have been ideal? He is staying in contact

I agree. I knew him through a mutual. I know he’s not dangerous. This was not a complete and absolute stranger. I did not take the mom question as ill-intended either. He also is not known as promiscuous at all. I’m not saying he’s perfect but there was no ill -intention here.

He’s a shy person but yes he still put in effort that he did so far. The doesn’t change the fact that he’s shy in nature.

So should I cut contact until I move up the the city when I can vet him properly on a regular basis in person then?

So well put! It should honestly be that way — men staying in their own lane if they internally or subconsciously know or think that they’re not good enough. Yes, there are many instances where a LVM goes to pursue a woman hoping to leech off of her (whether that be emotionally, physically, or financially), but a true HVM only pursues and dates a HVW. A man isn’t even really HV if he isn’t confident in himself enough to pursue you.

Red knuckles. Always pay attention to their knuckles. They hit objects (not around you but in private) and it can easily switch to hitting you

You’re right 🤨 By the time I’m starting my career there and in the moving process, it won’t matter. I really do have bigger fish to fry.

He was with an investment firm and felt like he was stuck in a rut there without opportunity to get a higher position. He has another year of school until he graduates. You’re right I’m going to leave him on open and not say anything. He’s not adding any value

Also, if he can't take me on dates now there is no point in communicating in the meanwhile

YES. Listen to your gut!!! I had a gut feeling something was off in the first few dates with an emotionally abusive ex and I was telling my friends I thought he was a narcissist. My friends laughed.. I ignored it and thought I was being too guarded. Then, after a year and a half I was right. If something seems off, call it quits.

They all follow the same script 😂🤡 Thank you for the support 💗💗

Yess. I’d always explain that women know when other women are interested and he needs to set boundaries. It’s an instinct we have. He’d always say “well I never know when they’re flirting. I treat them and answer them like normal people!!! Deal with it. It’s insecurity issues. You don’t trust me!🤡” Yeah for good reason, scrote.

Thank goodness we got out earlier than when it could have gotten worse, even though it was still emotionally damaging. Those silent treatments really make you feel like shit. Their reactions after we gained our power back from the breakup was like a 180.. it’s like I never even knew him at all. Hugs 💕

And what’s sad is that the majority of men do not have the actual capacity to empathize 💀

Exactly. It’s not even comparable. A lot of men also complain and cry about the handful of women who only go after them for money but yet they don’t step up and offer anything more than that other than their manipulation 🤡

I cannot wait to listen to this. I listened to The Baggage Reclaim Sessions after a breakup and she helped me so much with self-love and care

I guess I’m talking more about when you’re in a serious relationship with someone. If you should limit how many times you spend with them a week
/r/askFDS01/11/21 03:32 PM

I’m talking about when you’re already in a relationship. When you start feeling under-appreciated then what? I was told that when you start showing so much love for a man, they start taking you for granted

You’re right. He told me if I were to get anything to hold it until he gets back home. Should I do that or just not get anything at all?

Also I just remembered — in a conversation with him one time I believe he literally dissociated. He forgot what we were talking about & completely blanked. It was strange. He also said he used to have anger problems

I had an overwhelming intuitive gut feeling.. Also the fact that he love bombed me and triangulated me.. He's so charismatic and perfect to everyone but then with me he talks crap about strangers. This isn't narcissistic to you?

He love bombed me and did the triangulation tactic. Sounds narcissistic to me. Big people pleaser too.

He’s only a year older than I am

Yep. I thank FDS because I don't think I would have been so aware and cognizant of everything going on otherwise.. one value I hold onto is self-respect. Plus, he said he didn't have sex since October but then said he gets tested every 2 months/very often (huh? why would you get tested if you're not sexually active) Should I change my schedule so I don't run into him at the gym or should I just keep going at the same time I usually do (he goes at the same time)?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/08/20 05:24 PM

You’re absolutely right i need to get out. We go to the same gym at the same time usually so should I change my schedule and make sure to go when he’s not there or just go like usual?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
