I don't see how a preference for men from two-parent households is any different than a height preference, or a large-penis preference, or a wealth preference, or a preference for men with $0 student debt, or anything else that we talk about on FDS. All of these preferences are valid and we have the right to hold any standard we want. If a 10 year old girl sent sexts to my 12 year old son, I would be horrified and worried sick. I would assume that the girl is being abused and would immediately call her parents. Then, I'd have a conversation with my son about how female children who exhibit this kind of behavior shouldn't be shamed or called "fast little girls". I agree that family of origin doesn't always determine a person's character. I agree that LVM come from all types of families. But I believe that this subreddit should be a safe space for women to discuss the behavioral patterns of different types of men. It's also a bit naive to think that a man's childhood experiences won't impact the way that he treats women as an adult. We're all heavily influenced by our childhoods.

I have to be in a high vigilant state, on the subway and walking to and from work/ getting my daughters. Same here. I get what you're saying but I'm also a high earner ($70k right now, on-track to be promoted to $90k in September) . And I'm young, cute, and have a good body. I'm not going to lower my standards to guys who are significantly less successful than me in hopes that they'll be nicer.
