For men over age 25, it’s 1.9%. Young people are just waiting longer and getting to know each other before having sex. It’s healthier than my generation where you were expected to have sex by 16 or there was supposedly something wrong with you. I’m glad people are taking their time and getting to know each other these days.

Everyone is angry and embittered about something, but it’s not men or relationships for me. I’m just sick and in a losing battle with my own body. My experience is completely different from yours. Maybe it comes from a position of privilege. I’ve always been the most attractive person in the room, since North America views the look of physical disability to be hot and sexy. The wasting body. The consumptive complexion. The dewy expression of constant pain in the staring wet eyes. Rrrrraw rrrrraw…

I don’t know why this is in my feed, as a woman. People are people. Rumors are rumours. It sucks for everyone. You just sound closeted, and like you’re making excuses for preferring the company of men, to be honest. I feel genuinely sorry for any straight man who reads this stuff and follows the terrible advice lol.

It isn’t a double standard to vilify people who pay to abuse others and try to reduce stigma for their victims, so they can get help. You have to completely dehumanize prostitutes, and the terrifying risks they take to believe that their paying rapists and the criminals who run the “industry” deserve a medal. Feminists and women online do their best to de-stigmatize sex work because out in the real world women’s lives are destroyed for having even the slightest history in that industry, while me…

I know a lot of women like this too. There’s no group for it, but yes. Various people get tired of the games especially if they have bad luck or awful people are attracted to them.

I do it. By accident. Apparently my idea of nice is actually mean. And my self deprecating nature is offensive. If you say something nice and placating they’ll just be like “ok” and hang their head and walk away. But these little gems have almost gotten me killed. I’ve been literally attacked. They’re not even that mean. “To be honest you talk about your job and your money a lot, and I just really hate you. I don’t know why. But I just really REALLY hate you.” “You’re too good looking. I feel like men in service careers understand me better than OP ever will. Because any time I’ve dated a retail worker, a doctor, anyone who works with people, they understood it instantly. Is it that bad having to reject a man? “Have you ever had to tell a 400 lb neckbeard his favourite game is sold out? Imagine if you were his favourite game?” “Have you ever had to draw blood from an angry biker? Or pull an addict off one of your nurses? Imagine running into THAT guy on your way home from work…

As a fan of Tik tok, we did it as a joke because of all the hilarity “if you’re not tall women hate you”. Literally. It’s a sound now. I did this trend. “Sorry but I’m 5’10”. If you’re 6’5” or shorter stay home, I don’t want you.” I feel like obvious joke is obvious but Reddit has to show up and take everything so seriously

Yes. I know a lot of girls who sleep with guys who just aren’t public guys. Like he’s cute but he doesn’t have any social skills. My one friend married a guy like that, instant regret, marriage ended. He was always commenting on other women’s bodies and her friends boobs and stuff. He had sweet abs but you’re not introducing him to your mom or worse, your baby cousin. Before you start acting that way hoping for casual sex, it can easily backfire into no sex. I’ve never understood it. Any girl 🙄 I got all the way to maybe 10k followers by spending thousands on photography equipment and clothes. And having professional photos and reels because I was in the industry. The girls at the top spend hundreds of thousands. KimK is a multi millionaire. Most girls aren’t posting on social just so guys will look at their butt, unless they’re in the sex trade. In which case it’s a studio backing them with spam advertising. Yes it’s deliberately constructed to make you think “any girl with…

Ok but this is so true! My ex is Afghan and all of his friends are just assumed to be super smart and nerdy even if they’re dressed like rappers, pimped out with grills, driving on hydraulics. One of his friends is a mechanic, he can literally be fixing somebody’s car and they’re like “so what are you, an engineer or something?” To be fair, Canada’s immigration program leaves a lot of overseas doctors driving taxis. But sometimes a mechanic is just a mechanic! It’s also assumed that all the wome…

I’m a traditional woman and like guys who hold their families in high regard. My dream relationship would have been to live in a family household and care for children while looking after older generations. Indian guys here are just obsessed with white girls and would never ask me out in high school. Past high school, I was a jezebel because I wasn’t a virgin. In college they would rather offer me money for lewds than actually date me. After a while my list just didn’t include them anymore.

I’m going to say Indian guys have it as hard as me, a brown girl. I have friends who are Afghan, Persian etc who get girls left and right. But a lot of girls complain about Indian guys (mostly West Indian) because they smell like curry and have a “funny accent”. And girls like me complain about them because they are weirdly obsessed with white girls and treat them like princesses while treating brown girls like literal slaves. Or they will be super ugly but expect a model girl to bow down to the…

Even if some guys did meet a woman who is willing to date down in terms of looks for a guy with the right attitude, they would lose her quickly by telling her what she wants or doesn’t want. Keep telling someone they shouldn’t be with you or telling them over and over that looks are the only reason you wanted THEM and they won’t stay. I mean generally speaking. They stay with me but I worked in an intensely superficial industry.

Oh you sweet summer child. The “man of my dreams” went up on multiple rape and involuntary confinement charges when he was caught for running a prostitution ring. I’d say he defines exploitation relatively accurately. He was the only guy who treated me with basic common decency and respect, took me out to dinner, said I was beautiful, was honest about what I looked like and gave gentle recommendations, looked like blond Tom Welling, gave me gifts… Because he wanted to violently assault me until …

If you’re attractive you know because media exists. You don’t need to be harassed. There’s a difference between showing interest and harassing someone but that line can also be easily crossed if people are showing interest too frequently or in inappropriate times and spaces.

It is completely accurate. Even when I’ve had “casual sex” it was with a guy I had known for years who had put that much effort into getting me into bed just so he could say he slept with me and dumped me. It was pathetic.

I am so glad I’m not white. There are men who want visas constantly harassing even my least attractive friends, but they don’t think I was born here so they leave me alone. Which is actually funny since there are so many 3rd culture kids here. The rest vibes with me so much. Like exactly. Men compartmentalize. If they see you as the kind of girl they want to pursue, they are incapable of seeing you as someone they could take seriously. They might endlessly stare at you or follow you around, and it might even make other women jealous, but you can never break through that wall where they see you as an object or an avatar instead of a person. I’ve dated a lot of guys from the men “every woman wants” to mooks I felt sorry for. The rich CEOs wanted to take care of me and when I told t…

No you’re not. You’re conditioned to believe you do that because clothing made for men is warmer. I didn’t realize that until I tried on a guy’s coat. Thicker sweaters, warmer coats, more comfortable shoes. And no itchy crap all over your faces either.

Pfft. My SO wouldn’t get it if I wrote it on a paddle and beat him with it. And anyway sometimes there’s nothing you can do. That’s what’s crap about it. Sometimes the situation just sucks and it’s nobody’s fault, it just is. We’ve been together almost 14 years. We grew up in this relationship. We fucked up so hard, so many times. Live and learn, I guess.

Lol I thought I was on a different thread 😅😂 In that case I agree with you, people need to speak up more. I’ve had to help a lot of friends bring stuff up with their boyfriends. We’re taught that if we show any interest or sexual behaviour at all we deserve to be hurt, raped or even killed. The thing is, I don’t understand why most men don’t speak up, if they don’t want to be lumped in with those creeps. It didn’t have to be a random mom who got up. It could have been anyone. I hear you. I’m sympathetic to a point but if it’s between a hot superficial jerk and an ugly one, I know who I’m picking. And for me it’s usually between a hot kind empathetic person and an ugly suspicious angry dude who hates me and blames me for his entire life and wants vengeance. Yeah. I have had a tumour removed from my cervix. They may need to do a hysterectomy but first they have to do a biopsy of my uterus. My gyno was going to do it in office but it was too painful so I’m negotiating to have it done under a general. They have to do the biopsy before a hysterectomy in case it’s cancer. At least I think so. I was offered one before but neither one of us could afford the time off work. We’re one surgery away from bankruptcy and homelessness. So, I just deal.

How is any of that a comprehensive sentence. Q. Why should men care if women orgasm, they don’t matter? A. Tell women that so they can see you coming. They’re so funny! But yeah it’s just basically a muscle stimulator like the Dr Ho machine. It simulates a stomach ache, sort of. But if it did lasting damage it would be unethical. The closest thing men can feel to actual period cramps is kidney stones. Or really bad gas.

Probably. Considering she was less giving him subtle signals and more lighting up an entire fireworks display nobody could possibly have missed if they looked up from their damn phone for a minute.

All he had to do was look up from his phone and she would have done something. Walking up to someone and shouting “HEY” in their face to get their attention away from a screen and headphones is frowned upon, even if you do it to men, especially if you do it to women. At most you have a case that he didn’t know if she was trying to flirt or make fun of him since they can look the same, in which case looking away from his damn screen would have fixed that too.

It wasn’t passive at all. She was giving him every possible signal. I’ve seen girls literally walk up to a guy and practically sit in his lap and the idiot is still scrolling his phone. I’ve seen girls try and talk to guys who freeze or run away. We’re used to guys being scared of us. So we wait for them to approach us. We’re also used to being blamed for everything they do. Why did this whole thing remind me of this one guy I dated (twice) who went on and on about what a stud he was in bed yet all his exes told me he just did the same thing over and over thinking they loved it and even told other guys how to do it (wrong) making himself out to be some sex guru because he dated sooooo many girls. But they all dumped him. All of them.

There’s no such thing as “sex work”. There is an industry created by and for psychotic men that exploits, humiliates, imprisons and murders women and children for the financial profit of criminals. Porn is the version of it you point a camera at. The issue rarely if ever affects men or boys. Men are making money by raping and murdering women and little girls. Then they film it, so she can’t even get away from it and find a new life. No, women don’t do that. No, that isn’t done to men.

Due to the fact that that’s what you dwelled on, you have proven my exact point. Men don’t care about anything that happens to women, and we have to support eachother, even though we are smaller and weaker. Which means many of us have to be together in order to be safe from violent men, because we certainly can’t rely on other men to help us. Especially men like you. 90% of murderers are men too. There are so many women and girls on onlyfans because of “sex work” advocacy. They’re making next to no money and comparing themselves to the “special girls” who also work in prostitution/porn studios. It’s the standard way of getting girls into the industry by constantly making them feel “worthless” unless they do more and more unsafe things.

Feminism is getting more unpopular because it is only being used as a device to cause suffering for women. It’s not because we want to save men from false allegations. It’s because we want to save women and girls from people who advocate prostitution. To me, the feminist groups on Reddit that are run by sex workers and men claiming false rape allegations are serving the same cause.

I would argue they’re even creepier coming from a hot guy. You expect unattractive dudes to be a bit awkward but when a hot guy does it you wonder if he has some sort of mental deficiency or horrible defect. You’re not usually wrong, either.

The excerpt is from a part of the post where I was giving the most extreme arguments from both sides. The end of the question is my actual opinion. Most men who are extremely anti-feminist seem to be in relationships with women who they are financially supporting while taking on most of the chores and childcare. If feminism is about “female supremacy”…I don’t believe this, but they say they do…would it be fair to say that these women are actually the highest level of feminists whose example we s…

Sounds like an ideal situation! It seems to work because you both understand certain genetic limitations (he can’t give birth lol) and work together the way roommates do to solve problems. I grew up in an industrial town so there were a few families with a husband working way too hard and a wife just shouting at him to make more money, “married with children” type situations, but its definitely more common to see 50/50 work and 80/20 chores. Even in families where it’s completely impractical. Wi…

Sometimes women take on the work of planning everything but really want you to do some of it. We don’t always say it. You might be surprised what you find out when you ask her how she feels about planning all the appointments and things. She might be glad you asked.

He definitely likes having me around, but it’s extremely hard on me. Because it’s not 4 cups of coffee it’s like a bunch of sticks he dragged in thinking he would make something out of them, a guitar he found in the trash and thought he’d learn to play, 3 bottles and 8 cans he “has to” keep because he likes the pictures on them, 502 random sheets of paper for character creation and props patterns, 3 rolls of foam for projects he never completed, and all the incomplete projects. I think you’re just being combattive. You’ve chosen 1 thing and acted like it’s the whole post. Wedding invites still contain RSVPs. Families still have schedules and if anything they’re worse. Men typically only have to manage their own money and schedule and often can’t even do that. Women are treated as personal assistants for the whole family. Men could very easily help with remembering appointments and scheduling events. At least, they could manage their own schedules and finances, or inqui…

Good thing I pee on trees. Men don’t go through the physical trauma of giving birth nor do their breasts feed babies. They therefore do not struggle with limitations to their ability to work for 12+ months at a time, accounting for the “hour on average” twisted stat. In our “path toward an equal society” we need more high quality, affordable childcare and more dedication to the family unit on the part of fathers. We also need to stop sexualizing children in the eyes of men, so they can appreciat…

If the other person isn’t making any suggestions then it falls on you to make all the decisions. I’ve seen my friends ask men what they wanted to do with a house/room and it was always “I don’t care”. It’s easy to ignore the situations people can get stuck in when you yourself have a lot of options. I see it in long term care all the time. As a physician it’s best to try and understand rather than judge the situation your clients find themselves in. It doesn’t matter how people feel about divorce as long as the laws in place are fair. The law says people are equal partners even when the higher income earner disagrees. I agree that people should be civil and mature in a divorce hearing, but it…

I was at a café at 10am listening to 4 piece of shit tourists talk about an underaged girl one of them met online aggressively and went to their table to tell them to shut the fuck up at 10sm in a cafe full of families. A man is not a piece of shit, but men in general? The public image of men? It’s utter crap.

No. Any woman who grew up anywhere experienced this. I’m well travelled. I have a million friends. This is every girl, everywhere, all the time. Zero women deny this experience. Only men are invested in calling it a lie. And it’s usually exactly the kind of men we’re talking about.

We aren’t. The pedos and perverts on Reddit are. It’s pretty clear what their real motivation is from their posts about “young women” and underaged girls on other subs.

I’ve only ever heard the “overbearing mother” narrative used by pedophiles. They’ve convinced men to walk out on their families and if they could just get rid of those pesky moms who still love their kids they could get access to children. Hollywood pushes the “overbearing mother” trope so hard because Hollywood is full of pedophiles.

Adult men. Perverts. Usually in their 20’s women will say “I’m so glad there are less perverts these days” … there aren’t. We’ve just aged out of their target preferred age group. The older you get, you stop encountering pedophiles, and then sugar daddy types, and then pervs. Until you’re of child bearing age and then the pedos come back. It’s not until our 70s that we can live a life free of perverted psychos.

I think it started in the 80’s when the spread of AIDS was associated with gay men. Hypersexualization is associated with men in this era (women got the blame in the Victorian era) so we have this picture of gay men as some sort of pestilence out here ruining lives. I’d love to be able to say that, but women are taking on almost all of the responsibilities men are completely ignoring. Women are working full time and doing most of the household chores and almost 100% of the child care while men are throwing temper tantrums about being asked to mow the lawn. In the 80’s and 90’s I would agree that people were similarly immature. There were a lot of negligent parents, self absorbed finance enthusiasts, addicts, and narcissists in that generation but now? Less.

Guys are the same. I’ve seen guys and girls walk into a room where EVERYONE of the opposite gender just follows them around like a loser. It’s mathematically stupid and let’s face it, that person is always taken. But the idiots chasing that one person never once look at each other. No there would be more. If some guys are angry because women reject them NOW, think of how many guys would be miserable if we women asked out the guys we actually want. Currently, a LOT of men are relying on womens’ poor self esteem. If we ever started acting like men, it wouldn’t go well for them.

I don’t want to be that bitch but it’s only broke guys who look like crap who want women to be more forward. Guys like my SO have women harassing them constantly and wish girls would back TF up. When I let him pay on a date he was literally like “thank you! I don’t know why girls always assume I’m broke” and we had this huge convo about how women tend to see him as some kind of project or sugar baby rather than a person. I mean not just girls. Doesn’t mean we don’t exist in the world now. I started dating in the 90’s and my cousins are in their teens. We have family in every generation. The only dating “world” I don’t understand is the late 60’s and early 70’s. that shit was completely gross.

It’s etiquette now, to allow one person to order for the table so you don’t confuse the waiter. Or, to allow the person paying to relay the order to show they agree to it, or so they can change the order and the price. Like when I used to tell my mom my order….”and fries” and my mom would relay it to the waiter while giving me a look “and salad” 😂

I mean I’m genetically European and grew up in that set of customs. It is customary for the men to protect the women in our families and the women to protect the children and our food. Nobody fends for themselves and mothers don’t kick out their children. The head of the family orders for everyone at the table. It’s romantic or sexy for a man to know about food, to know the chef or what is the best thing on the menu. It can also be considered rude to order for yourself because of people talking …

Yeah I used to be that girl too, until I realized it made men perceive me as less attractive and desirable. Most of them want the chase, and think you’re worthless if they don’t have to make an effort. The more guys chasing you the better when one guy finally gets you. Then he walks around with you on his arm like a proud peacock, and other guys have to admit, even if you’d never be their type, that there’s just “something about you.” Maybe 20-25% say it, but another 50-70% “can’t put their fing…

It boils down to women being at kids risk physically and men being more brutal, blunt, and mean. If all you heard all day was people criticizing everything about your loins you’d be terrified to go out without camouflage too. I was already on thin ice for not being a virgin when I got married to my husband. I was only allowed to marry him because he was also impure (lol). We had to go through pre-marriage counselling and our parish priest refused to marry us to each other because of our income level and my race. He actually said it. The church would recognize our m…

Currently more than 75% of the worlds wealth is held by its oldest 10% of citizens. Should that money just be taken from the people who have chosen not to share it? Interesting concept. Also tax …

My two cents: Women as objects, men as subjects. Everything in society that sells sex caters to men as human beings with desires, interests and a sex drive while viewing women as a packaged product. It leads to men viewing themselves as “consumers” in a capitalist marketplace where sex with women is the product. Women are expected to “provide a service” and nobody really asks us how we like it or what we want. Sex as a means to an end Women are socialized to believe that sex is a means to an end…

No. There is a difference between selling a product or service and selling yourself. Some men might look at models because they are pretty but models are selling products: clothes or perfume or assistive devices or knitting needles or whatever. Their body is not the only subject of the content, nor even the main one. You certainly think so. And you would be wrong. It is impossible to get onto any page of a major site without the backing of a studio. They make it look homemade, but it’s the same studios and the same actors. The sex trade just isn’t as big as you think. Even on sites like MFC where anyone can sign up, the only way to the top is to be one of their direct hire “models” or part of a studio that puts out 50+ girls and has them watch eachother and cross post to bump the views.

I started telling my friends I would be happy to go to the doctor with them when they get the blood test results. I was just really done with the drama after the 3rd girl in my friend group pulled the same thing. One actually was pregnant but she upset me the most because she told her boyfriend, let him buy a crib and set up a nursery and buy them a beautiful house, then had an abortion and told him she miscarried. The advice men especially pua give is actually terrible. If you get bad advice from a girl you probably asked the wrong girl. Like my friend works at a strip club and guys are always asking her for advice on women. She’s like “if I knew, would I be working here?

At least back then peoples attire was similar. Like 70s glam rock was the same mesh see thru everything for men that women wore. Now men dress like some kind of puritans, or like children while women are forced to walk around naked and it’s just weird. I literally have to buy my clothes in Japan or 7 sizes too big so they cover my body. I think if more women wore bigger outfits we’d have options.

Why would you swipe her just to insult her?

It’s actually really weird though because I don’t see thirst trap guys coming up constantly on my feeds, but they do on all the men I know. My so literally has to tell social sites and even e-mail providers he’s female to avoid having sex work shoved down his throat. And it sincerely makes me worry for my nephews. The article did not say most women who were single and not looking are over 50. It made the opposite claim. The people they asked why they were not dating weren’t over 50. The dating marketplace is scarier for women who have more to lose because all the stigma for failed relationships falls on us, and all the responsibility, especially if there are children. Also men go to strip clubs for like every event. You could artificially skew the study by opening more strip clubs and escort services that serve women, or taking a sample that includes only Christian men and female sex workers, but that wouldn’t be very science of you. I say we do the first one instead ;)

But she’s worried about the same things I am: that men are egocentric opportunists who only want to take her house and our inheritance. We’ve both seen it happen to a lot of friends. At least 3 of my friends got kicked out of their own houses when their moms died. One of them when she was 17. It’s like 1704 out there man. Nothing in the study says that. It specifically says that women who are single AND LOOKING to date answered a survey where they DIRECTLY linked their fear of dating/unwillingness to date with harassing behaviours and threats from men. Young men are more willing to date than young women because they feel safe doing so. They feel safe doing so because they take no risk. They are not the ones who will be blamed if anything goes wrong. They are not the gender that makes up 80% of single parent homes…

It makes sense to me. North America has become increasingly tolerance of gender based violence and victim blaming when something bad happens to women. “If I’m going to get blamed for everything a man does to me, I just won’t date” is the only logical response. I’m sorry but you really lost me at the premise. Maybe this was true in the 1970’s ✨maybe✨ but in my experience ugly men are more confident than good looking men. Both. People have so much rage about the gay community that people feel like they have to hide. No. Humans are similarly emotional. Men have more anger issues and they are normalized. Men also insult or make fun of women, and treat us like our opinions don’t matter especially if they want to tell the “you’re being emotional” lie which incites women to completely shut down around men. Just being real here, you shouldn’t have sex with anyone who is impaired. Intoxicated people cannot consent and you especially shouldn’t be saying yes to someone who is sex-in-a-dirty-club-bathroom drunk/high If you really want to avoid a sexual assault charge, or a disease, never have sex with anyone while they are under the influence. And ffs don’t have sex with random strangers and especially in a public toilet. Like I had a friend who chased another guy away from me when I was too drunk/high…

Lol I used to dance. If I had sex with every guy who lifted me I would have been a penis pincushion 😂 but I can confirm that dancers are hot to regular people and it’s easy to pick people up at a club if you can dance. Male dancers are pretty rare except in other countries. But in North America dancing is “gay”. I blame strip clubs 😂

I googled it. She’s 17. He’s 25. The film was deliberately pushing boundaries and upsetting people. Not really unusual for the times. I think OP missed that whole moment when society went from John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever to John Travolta in Grease…to John Travolta in a dress playing somebody’s mom in Hairspray.

Do…you want me to ask my mom? That’s like, a REALLY old movie. I think I saw it once when I was like 12. Seems like girls probably liked it because it was the least testosterone driven shitty movie of it’s time? They weren’t comparing it to like, Miss Congeniality they were comparing it to Fast Times at Ridgemont High and stuff. Was anyone under 50 even old enough to watch that movie when it was made?

I didn’t think men were abusive pedophiles before porn preferences were revealed by what comes up first in the algorithm on a website. I thought men mostly watch the comparatively normal stuff in the back of the video shop. At first I thought well the kind of guy using this website doesn’t want anyone knowing what he’s watching, but now that everyone streams and nobody watches videos?

My question was genuine. When I see words like “berated” and “humiliated” especially when someone also says these women deserve to be physically hurt in some way, I think about my own experiences. I worked in fashion, and in clubs. I’ve seen a lot of women get screamed at, threatened, assaulted, or lose their jobs and all they did was politely refuse to have sex with a guy. It made me angry for a long time. I had to work really hard not to hate men. Hell in a way I was an “incel”….I was terrifie…

A lot of people have always thought its cute, so it’s not really that he got teased for it a ton but he wants to feel like a big tough manly man not a cute stuttering cinnamon roll. Exactly. They also don’t notice women who don’t wear it as much as they notice the ones who do. Nah. I have a mental health disorder and I know love exists. I’ve seen it, even in my own family. I think most people in this sub believe love or at least lust exists, they just don’t think they’re worthy of it or will ever get it so it must be sour grapes.

This sub: women want rich powerful super sexy men! Any sub or online space that is mostly women: I want a guy who can manage not to throw a temper tantrum every time he accidentally gets mayonnaise instead of mustard. Bonus points if he can figure out the front end of a mop from the ass end. Double bonus points if he isn’t a complete ass.

Look, maybe unattractive girls do the same things unattractive guys do when they want to obsess over random unknown people who have nothing to do with them, but normal people just date others within their own sphere. Some people would rather appreciate what they have than scream about what they don’t, or chase some bs.

You treated her like a human being and got a date. In my experience this is definitely how life works. It’s not some manipulation. If someone is single and you’re nice, they’ll want to explore things further. This isn’t always going to work, you’re right. It’s because if someone said this to me for example, I would get seriously annoyed. It isn’t because I don’t or wouldn’t like the person, it’s because I really hate people complimenting my eyes, for numerous reasons. Be prepared to follow up wh…

I don’t think you’ve looked much into feminism vis a vis “random teenaged girls on the internet” but it is definitely not the work of feminism to promote mens rights. The fact that men can’t even allow discussions about basic human rights for women happen without deciding it “has to” be about men is, in fact, the issue.

You don’t have to re-address the point because let’s face it, even women and girls who have never once dated have observed the widespread phenomenon of men treating women like garbage, and the act of blaming women for the way we are treated BY OTHERS is a large chunk of the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/22 08:15 PM

Or taking off the condoms or putting holes in it without her knowing. It’s a lot easier for men, and women are a lot more trapped. A man can just walk away from a pregnancy. Women can’t. Abuse increases during pregnancy too. Any time a man thinks you can’t leave him, watch out.

At 20, the men who are virgins won’t admit to it. Look for the guys pretending to be “total studs” if you want to meet a terminal virgin, for some reason I cannot even imagine. I’m glad my first time was with someone who had experience. Two awkward losers in that room would have been so sad 😂

You are. To be honest. Especially if you’re looking for someone who isn’t ugly. I’m literally 42 years old and I have to turn down at least 15 men every time I go out just to maintain my relationship and avoid cheating. When I was in my 20s me and every girl in there had to turn down the entire club. I’m sorry to be blunt but no girl is maintaining her virginity just waiting for you to come along. I mean of course it is? How can anyone expect someone to continually tamp down their natural physical desires and then suddenly learn to be okay with something they’ve believed their entire lives was disgusting and evil…just because the circumstances fit? I’ve seen a lot of Muslim guys break down crying because they can’t have sex. They’ve been told all their lives that any sex will make a woman impure and disgusting, and they are terrified to do that to their wives. It’s just really sad

Don’t believe the hype-rgamy lol. Most women and little kids like this girl fall pretty hard, pretty fast, for anyone they’re dating. A LOT of women (but mostly kids like her) have really over the top reactions to a breakup.

Totally agree. And to add, I don’t really think the people who post that would really want to be in that position. I think many of us are too socially isolated or not using empathy. For example I had a friend who complained about men constantly touching her. I thought, men touch me all the time, it can’t be that bad. I went out with her and saw what she meant. Guys aren’t trying to get away with touching her hand or brushing her shoulder like they do with me. They openly stare at her boobs. They…

To me that sounds like a normal relationship if she’s joking, because men are usually stronger so they know we’re not a real threat. But if the relationship did become abusive I’d be concerned. Or if there was a serious credible threat. Or even if he has said that she is scaring him and asked her to stop and she refuses. Or commenting on some child like Sommer Ray and referring to her as a “woman” 🤢 It’s not our job to explain how makeup works, or teach men that if our eyelids were naturally sparkly and our cheeks were natu…

That’s the wrong math. It’s more of a cluster. Like let’s say you’re going to the store to buy bread. Option A (RP) is to buy every loaf of bread and then decide which ones are bad. The more loaves of bread you try, the more will be mouldy, because you ignored them. Option B (my method) is to look at all the breads, choose a few breads I might like, and take them home. Sample all the breads and decide pumpernickel swirl is my favourite. I’ll look at all the breads and give the breads a chance, b…

Assisted suicide is what happens when a medical professional helps you end your life, generally due to a long term illness. I’m posting this in a manosphere debate sub where a persons written narrative is being exploited to prove the opposite of the point. Her lived experience is being denied by the bullshit screenshot, which is a series of lies about the content of the book. The “unexpectedness” she talks about in mens interactions is the warmth: Ms. VINCENT: Yeah, I was surprised to find, I ex…

Who takes the higher financial risk, if both people pay on a date? Who pays more at the hairdresser? Who has to wear makeup? Who gets paid less at work? Who can just show up? For this to be exactly the same: -women would have to need relationships to survive and avoid homelessness -relationships would have to be asking for so much that they cannot be provided As an example, employers are asking someone to take a job at $2000 a month in a place where a 1 bedroom apartment costs $2600 a month and also requiring the worker to own a vehicle. What they are asking for is impossible. For it to be the same, manosphere types would have to expect something ridiculous like a wo…

The “unique perspective” of someone who believes they are passing. Not to downplay this person’s experience but we had a gay female person in my high school/Uni who coded male and truly believed she was passing. Everyone could tell, and a lot of women avoided her because she was so obsessed with this idea of passing. It’s a faux pas in our society to tell trans people they aren’t passing, or that they could pass better if they tried x or y, unless you yourself are trans. I did a natural makeup v…

If you have an advantage in one area it will be taken away from you in another. Ugly women usually win out over attractive women, not because we’re “picky” but because they are more visible after using catty measures to push us out of the workplace/public eye. This has been explained numerous times on numerous forums. There is a difference between advocacy FOR men and hate speech AGAINST women. And it usually takes the same format: “If women want rights, we should have the right to hurt them.” It’s pretty easy to see here, and in no way hidden. “If women want the right to vote, they should be forced to risk their lives in the draft.” Which makes the thesis of this statement “women shouldn’t be allowed to vote.” Not “people shouldn’t be drafted” Not “a…

Yeah? Of course a trait is toxic when it’s bad and positive when it’s good. That’s the same for any trait. The person I replied to was talking about the Red Pill ideology. The ideology that posits that “all men” want young skinny women (then idk why there’s a mature porn category? That attractive people both want and get constant unending sex and that men who aren’t getting sex should treat women like garbage.

Women reach our sexual peak in our 30s. Men reach their sexual peak in their 20’s. I don’t know who “they” are, but they’re hormonally inaccurate. I didn’t even lose my virginity until my 20s. During my 20s there weren’t many options. Most guys regardless of looks just wanted to have a lot of sex with anyone who would touch them. I wouldn’t say we’re assholes. I’d say we’re on a journey of self discovery in a society whose structure requires us to “sow our wild oats” before settling down. The post says this. Men younger than me hit on me all the time, but like you, I’m not sitting on the internet putting down young men en masse, complaining about the ones who date women their own age as if there’s something wrong with THEM, and not the ones who sniff around old married people. What that girl did was not developmentally normal, and normalizing it to other kids her age is not okay.

That “willingness to submit” did not sound good. That’s a person. A human being. The way people talk in these subs is often predatory. Massive age gap relationships are often predatory on one side or the other. But my point was more that trying to manipulate younger women into “wanting” older men by saying guys their own age are “evil” for acting in a developmentally normal way is predatory.

I agree. The girls on OF and IG were pretty much confined inside the strip club walls back then. And they couldn’t get away with lying about what they do for a living. And they had to show up. They couldn’t just cycle back on the same 20 pictures from 15 years ago lol.

I didn’t have sex until I was in my 20’s either and I was a full time model. Men are not a monolith based on you. Women typically lose their virginity later than men. I don’t know what flack you’re talking about but look at the way men talk to me just in this thread. Do people say these things to you a hundred times a day?

If you’re trying to date women who are younger than you , you’re the problem here. Obviously a lot of young people haven’t matured beyond the point of cheating, not knowing who they want to marry, etc. this is no different regardless of gender. It isn’t uncommon or weird. What IS weird is a much older person claiming to “save them” from a completely normal stage of development.

Men don’t have to compete for anything. White men in particular have the highest chance of getting anything they ask for, without facing bigotry, discrimination, or death threats. Once in the position they are the most likely to be surrounded by people who look, act, and think exactly like themselves, without having to hide who they actually are, unless they happen to be passing or gay. They are literally online complaining that the government refuses to legalize rape so they can force underaged…

Isn’t being a white male pretending that you have the same struggles as actually discriminated against groups who can lose their lives simply for existing a liberal faux pas, yet here you both are? But no. I’m saying if “nobody cares” why are you blaming women? It’s a gender segregated society. I think people care for me because other women do. If you think “people don’t care” it’s because men don’t care for eachother.
/r/AllPillDebate21/08/22 06:06 PM

“As a male no-one really cares about you” What does that mean? It means other men don’t care about you. Women have a reason not to care. We’re more likely to be victimized by men than other women. But men? They just don’t care.

No, it isn’t. You have to be sick and dying and watch the perfectly healthy person you love more than life itself struggle to pay the bills and keep the house clean and always look at you with that fake happy pained expression because they love you too much to ever let you feel like a burden. It is endless suffering worse than you can ever have even fathomed when you were alone. Loss is inevitable. You lose them or you lose yourself…your kids move out, pets die, houses fall apart. On the original question: Love is not conditional. When someone turns out to be abusive in some way, you don’t stop loving the person they used to be. In fact, you are so disappointed and so sad BECAUSE you loved the person. If you didn’t love the person, you wouldn’t care what they did. Only someone you care about incredibly strongly is even capable of hurting you that much. Unconditional love doesn’t always feel like love. Not to anyone: dogs when you have to take something away they’d rather …

No one cares about anyone actually. If men can’t form bonds with eachother then they should start. Making the fact that you don’t love eachother the way women do a “women problem” doesn’t make sense since we aren’t remotely involved in your relationships with one another.

Is this a question? If so, I have an answer. Often, due to PERCEIVED privileged, people transition from one thing to another in a disingenuous way. For example there’s a film, I feel pretty, where Amy Schumer hits her head and THINKS she’s beautiful, therefore she changes her perception of every situation to fall into that narrative of what she thinks hot girls “get”. Someone opens a door and she walks through it, assuming he’s holding it for her. She flirts with herself on behalf of a guy, beca…

In my experience, yes. Tinder is billed as a space to get free easy sex and women aren’t interested in that. Meanwhile sites like match.com have more female than male users and are more representative of the population overall. Suggesting that if men didn’t want to deal with an environment where “plain janes are getting hot guys” (but more likely where hookers are scoping Johns, at least where I live) they would use an app that doesn’t promise easy no strings attached sex to its users.
/r/AllPillDebate17/08/22 11:05 AM

Not really. It’s unanimous in a sound chamber. Like asking the chess club if they like chess and extrapolating from their responses that everyone likes chess. Plus there are no consequences except the ones people make up so they can feel less bad about being rejected. I’m all for whatever fantasy helps you as long as you’re not using it to hurt others. If you’re sniffing around a girl waiting for her to get dumped so you can gloat, you are definitely the biggest douchebag in the room and deserve…

Your idea of “honesty” is “saying exactly what you want to hear” and that’s the issue. That’s why it’s in quotes. Since these subs are on some BS about “girls are poisoned by dating apps” yet only like 8% of people meet on dating apps. Maybe instead of sitting around name calling people they are obsessed with for being hot guys or whatever, they should go outside. They are WAY more obsessed with so-called “Chads” than I am, and they don’t understand the nuance of human relations. It comes across kind of pathetic because the only women putting that kind of effort into our looks are models and hookers. And even models don’t go out of their way to put on the “smoke show” prosthetics 24/7. It takes a very insecure woman to do that. Also it comes off as a total lie since I was a model and can’t even count the number of men who judged me or refused to date me because I didn’t have a serious enough job or make a lot of money like them.

TL;DR I think they’re just using extreme outlying cases to describe what they don’t want. It’s like if I used my crappy ex as a yardstick for what I don’t date. They’re just saying the bar is low. It does seem vague if you take it on a personal basis instead of in the larger context (the women they’re actually talking about) So I have to ask myself, who fits these two categories? Sure. I believe the drug revolution and normalization of addiction behaviour killed and continues to kill both equality and chivalry. Addicts are inherently self-obsessed, and prior to the late 60’s people had more basic decency. Anti-woman rhetoric also kills chivalry even in spaces where drugs and social climbing aren’t a thing. Honestly I agree with you. “Self improvement for men” is much more toxic. Makeup companies and the fashion industry are all about diversity and making everyone feel good. Mens spaces tend to lean FAR the other way, heavily shaming men for taking a step out of line. As they say of cocktail parties, when two women wear the same thing, they are mortified; when two men wear the same thing, they high five. Men are quite literally conditioned, and violently at that, into doing exactly what toxic manho…

There are too many men because of female infanticide, genocide, and hyper masculine socialization that devalues women. It was disproven in its infancy by scientists who concluded that a significant number of illnesses and disorders aren’t genetic, are unable to be seen until later life, and more importantly that a number of less-than-desirable traits (like having 3 toes, webbed feet or for some reason brown eyes) are dominant traits that can and often will be passed on even 10 generations out. Each circle poses an increasing incidence of severe mental health issues, lack of self awareness, and the tendency to blame all women for their own social issues. Too many men descend through these circles of hell and drag other men to perdition with them by using “all men” or “men” to describe their own insane opinions.

That, to me, is the main issue with men. They will make a million excuses for the shittiest behaviour from other men, and then make ridiculous oppressive rules for women. To the point where they will let a male friend live with them rent free for a year and say he’s the best guy ever, just a little down on his luck, but scream bloody murder if they have to pay $2 for a woman’s coffee. Devaluing women is built into the language of who deserves what.

I don’t think that’s true. I was raised by hippie feminists and wasn’t so much as allowed to watch the sound of music. I didn’t like television much but what I did watch was Care Bears and Sesame Street. If Sesame Street had influenced my sexuality, I would definitely be a gay man I do love shoes…. My desire for a relationship comes from an innate physical desire to be snuggled, held, and sexually pleased. I happen to derive said sexual pleasure from a dildo-shaped object, and these are often co…

I’m more upset at rich people who are completely obtuse. How can you live in a town where people can’t afford homes, build a massive building using government funds, and justify over charging rent? How can you be a person with the means, capacity, and funding to make life better for your fellow humans and actively choose against that? How can anyone buy a 20,000 dollar watch when 20,000 would pay my rent for 10 years? If you’re living your dream, why would you actively choose against other peopl…

I haven’t. I still expect to be treated with basic human decency and respect, and will beat the living shit out of any asshole who tries to hit me, and that will never change. May you spend the rest of your life alone 🥰 I really wish that for you.

Your dirty jokes is great advice. I did something similar I read that as he made comments that sexualized their bodies. Also no, most women do not like compliments focused on our bodies. We get them all day. It proves you don’t want to know us for anything except sex and you don’t care about us as a person. Cat calling and “wow you have great boobs” are the same thing. But I must be wrong because you can swear and get angry. How does that usually work out for men?

Ok I’m sorry for the too much honesty but in my experience the more rich person pays and if 2 people are the same amount of rich the uglier one pays.

This isn’t why they didn’t work out, and it also would have ruined the chances of my current SO. But please tell me more about how everything you do wrong is right because it’s wrong? “It didn’t work out because he did something wrong. Therefore he was right to screw up” -panascope, 2022

Here’s some very specific advice since I was part of a group that right swiped over 5,000 profiles and went on hundreds of dates for a research project. My weirdest advice you may never have heard before: If you laugh randomly, tell the person what you’re laughing at. A lot of people will assume you’re laughing at them, even if you think the real joke is obvious. If you look a bit like somebody famous, try to look more like them. You’ll benefit from their access to the best hair, fashion, and ma…

All of this is great advice. It’s also important to think of the other person.

While I’ve been in a lot of situations where a guy didn’t make a move and should have, I’d be wary of giving this advice because some people would take it too far.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
