I tried to use it for practice, but the amount of anger and disgust made it not worth it. It's better to vet in real life, because ghosting a guy you met online is much easier than doing it with a guy you already been with. You can make sure you are ripe by practicing FDS standarts with male colleagues, male relatives, even female friends. Those are a bit more similar to real life dating.

We are definetly not supposed to be paranoid and sniffing for lies all the time, but we get punished for not doing it. I'm still not over the extreme gaslighting, humiliation and sexual coercion from my last NVX. FDS gives us leverage for our protection. In an ideal world, we shouldn't be punished for trusting men, but this world is not ideal and it's cruel out there. You can't go to war without armory, and that's why FDS is here.

Can I just say something? If he has a "performance anxiety" it is already a red flag. It's all in the name: he is performing. Sex that's performative derives from porn. A HVM knows the basics to make you cum: kisses well, has the right amount of pressure in his hands, he can find the clit and rub it. It's not rocket science. If you think he might have a performance anxiety, dump him. He is not an artist, he shouldn't be performing shit while having sex.

I only had one male therapist. He encouraged me to break up with my NVX very clearly. He could see I was suffering and my ex's behaviours were abusive. I changed therapists because of different reasons, but he was decent. He is a unicorn among the majority of shitty therapists. If a male or female therapist does not advice you to break up with your partner or AT LEAST call the behaviour what it is - abuse - change therapists.
