Ah okay, wonderful! Yeah grey area, mistakes could anything from telling him something from the book to bitchy hamstering so thanks for the clarification!

That's far more understandable. Really threw him under the bus in your original comment OP. Work on personal accountability.

Woah hold on now. He straight up called you a fake bitch? That's intense, sounds like he has no respect for you. I, like u/thatbadlarry am also curious as to how your relationship was before this? Because I made the same mistake, (telling him before reading not to) and he literally just said "okay, you do you!" and understands I'm trying to improve myself even if I flub up. I've basically returned to not caring You're supposed to do this for YOURSELF as much as it is for him. So if you're giving…

Totally belongs here, that's so lovely! It's nice how respecting you are of his communication style. These moments are incredibly rewarding, my partner is the same way, a man of very few intense emotional moments.

loved vs. loves That should be all that matters now AND later on in your relationship. Past vs. present/future.

I agree. It's a grey area because his ex girlfriend certainly thinks it's cheating. Maybe not psychical, but he cheated on her emotionally with OP.
/r/RedPillWomen10/10/18 07:31 PM
1

Even still if we didn't call it cheating - it's still extremely morally skewed. He played around with two women on a commitment level. That's some deep-rooted decision making. He's wishy-washy about breaking up with his ex and that in turn means he's unsure of OP. If they're having sex - she's a plate. If they're not, then she needs to keep vetting because there are a lot of red flags coming from this guy. He's not even sure of self, how could he possibly be a good man for a woman?
/r/RedPillWomen10/10/18 07:31 PM
9

Absolutely not, the fact that you think that is very telling and can surely explain why you wound up in this position. Feel free to read up on this great post "A Note on Plates"

Same! Mine are mostly botanical so I found I can mix them with florals (still, specific colours) but stripes or other patterns of any kind look atrocious. I live for the black one-piece bathingsuit.

Not having sex is the weirdest way to build a family.
/r/RedPillWomen05/10/18 05:02 PM

You need to compliment him more, tell him you want him, etc. Even if you get no response, you need to still boost to him that he IS a very desirable masculine man.
/r/RedPillWomen05/10/18 05:01 PM
2

Yeah I feel like they make me look like a little troll. I do however like tuk's too, but you can't get the cheap plastic looking ones, you'd need to invest in a good pair. Also just keeping your shoes really clean and polished is a big part of it too.
/r/RedPillWomen05/10/18 04:59 PM
6

Also to add - CONSIDER YOUR TATTOOS WHEN BUYING CLOTHING. I see so many people who just let their tattoos clash painfully with their outfits (again, colour theory), you need to consider the busy-ness of your ink, the colours you have, placement, etc. When buying and putting together outfits.

Shoes!! I found you can get really creative with your shoes that would be more "alternative". For example I have a pair of Current Mood Platforms. They're easy to work with and it's a simple and subtle way of blending a more "alternative" look with chic style. I love wearing them with some nice skinny jeans, a nice belt and a silk blouse and maybe a trench (depending on weather). Learning your body shape and what fits on you is SO VITAL. Too many people cramming themselves in cookie-cutter alter…

/r/RedPillWomen05/10/18 04:42 PM

that's why I started trying the socks! I've got a very fluffy long haired cat haha
/r/RedPillWomen05/10/18 04:42 PM

My absolute pleasure!!!
/r/RedPillWomen05/10/18 04:41 PM

Sorry I definitely should have clarified, it only works with stretchy socks. I usually have big stretchy ones to work with (He wears those work socks that people make sock monkeys out of) and I wear those fuzzy stretchy socks too. So you can usually just take either of those kinds of socks and stretch them over the entire swiffer. Like this.

More moisture! You can also lightly file the rougher skin before you do. Try wearing some moisture gloves once a week or so. That's one of my biggest annoyance when it comes to my nails, I garden so they get pretty roughed up. Also when I had to keep my nails shorter, just invest in nice polish (top coat and base coat) (maybe at home gel). Keep them filed nicely and use cuticle oil. You can also go polish free just ensure they're nice and clean all the time. I know the 'single black dot nail' lo…

Wow so appreciative!! This is lovely.
/r/RedPillWomen05/10/18 03:25 PM

TIP: If you drop something really tiny (think, the back of an earring) if you put a sock on the end of your vacuum (secured) you can use that to find the missing tiny thing. Also larger orphan socks work great as swiffer pads.

So you used the dildo to learn? Interesting. I may try that! He likes the gagging sound but I want to be a pro

I agree, based on this comment from a previous posts of OP's: But for example, I told him jokingly if he says a specific sentence to a specific girl then I’d break up with him. And next week he said the same sentence to the same girl which I believe it was too childish. He has no respect for OP. He is using her. She is a plate, a place holder until he finds something better.
/r/RedPillWomen21/09/18 04:53 PM

If he's already this disinterested in you as a person this shortly into the relationship - you're now a plate. Time to peel away and find yourself a man who WANTS you, mind, soul & body - not just body.

Get them removed properly! Not building routine and habits is part of the problem. I've got the super thin nail problem too, you can literally bend my nails. So I'm probably in the same boat!
/r/RedPillWomen13/09/18 05:22 PM

I got them done professionally, since it took it to another level. I felt if I fiddle with them, or damage them it was a waste of money/someone's time and effort. So it gave me even more incentive. Now I do it myself most of the time! My nails weren't even a centimeter in length, they were tiny little slivers of nail on numbs basically. So it is possible! They didn't last long when my nails were super short and took extra time to apply, but if you keep them up kept, they'll get longer and hold b…

I basically date down mostly because I'm insecure and like being "the best" they have ever had. I agree with the other ladies here. FLYI, also stop doing this. You don't need to date down to be the best they've ever had. You just have to be the best they ever had. Doing this is CONTROLLING and stupid and self-harming in a way too. Figure out what your substance is.
/r/RedPillWomen12/09/18 03:03 PM

I agree with this! This was my solution for my problem. I'd chew my nails down so bad they bled, tried the oils, creams, apple bitter, nail polish, elastic bands, etc. Acrylic nails? 5 months of consistent wear and the habit's been gone for 5 years and counting!

Not if they call themselves monogamous. Red Pill at it's core is about reality, the truth. mo·nog·a·mous adjective involving marriage to one person at a time. having a sexual relationship with only one partner at a time. If they cheat and claim to be monogamous, they are liars and therefore not good men. If they are not monogamous or the couple has different terms of "cheating" that's different. But I do not in any way condone a monogamous man cheating. But the "defense" of those situations is b…

Yeah that's what someone else suggsted. It's not the car persay, it's everything surrounding it. So if I just narrow it down to helping with the car only (not the $, not the parking, etc). Then that might be a great solution

Sounds to me like he may just really respect your opinion. Pretty much, and I really love this, but the process is too much. Rather than having you take over, he may just really need some help? That's where the problem lies, you're entirely correct. But he goes between wanting my help and then not wanting me involved at all. It's driving me insane. I think they mean redpillwomen helped them become better as a person. This subreddit isn't just for "getting a man" it's about becoming the best version of yourself and dealing with hard truths and reality.

Sounds more controlling moreso than an alpha. I'd say your man is old school, but most certainly not red pilled. Red pilled men treat women they love with respect. A good man will not treat you that way. I'd say run.

Yes, you're right as to my perspective. That's totally correct. It's his car, and there is such a thing as too many cooks in the kitchen. This really stands out to me, he's actually used this expression before to me to get a point across, so he knows exactly what it means. Maybe I'll just say that to him, followed up with that I trust his judgement. Indulging this behavior will only enable the dynamic to crop up in other areas of your relationship and could lead to you losing respect for him. Th…

he just agonizes about it and she gets tired of talking about it. Hit the nail on the head. "it's your car, your choice." Ah yes, very Doyle style. I think I'll start doing that. I've been saying "whatever you think is best" but that always comes with him asking a follow up. It took him several more months to choose a car (let's be honest they are kind of the same, just different types, it's not hard!) but at least she didn't have to talk to him about it anymore. That's my main stress. It's been…

I'm going to tonight after work. I've mentioned I don't want to be a part of the specifics, but I have yet to say I don't want to be a part of it as a whole. I'm not sure how to really go about doing that aside from saying it blatantly.

In all fairness I PREFER he comments on my body and I've asked him to do so. I've got some personal insecurities about my body like majority of women and he's completely objective, as long as it's facts told nicely, I appreciate it. I'm on the other end though (extremely high metabolism), so he's told me "you're looking thinner in a bad way" which was weird to process but "you're looking thinner" is almost always a compliment, so I'm glad he said it the way he did. Love it, for personal and professional reasons. I use it for interior design primarily (since it's part of my job and a main passion), keeping my fashion in order (prevents me from getting caught up in trends), I've got food saved for every possible occasion or meal imaginable, party plans prepped and ready to do, all DIYs possible for any Hostess moments. Yeah if he hasn't even kissed you it's either a sign of being a beta or not being over his ex, and based on the request on his half to take things slow. I'm going to agree he doesn't sound totally moved on. I'd say cut and leave. But with kids he said not in the next five years - would that be too late for me if I continue to pursue this relationship? That's entirely up to you. My boyfriend and I have agreed we want kids around 28-32. I'm also 25. So if he said that was his timeline, I'd be hesi…

Sounds like a weak-minded 17 year old, not a depressed 30 year old preparing to settle down. He made decision, after decision, after decision. You were none of those decisions. Move on. And to think - this was when the going was good. Imagine if the going wasn't good.

Yeah exactly. Mail-order takes out all the depth and makes it a transaction. Even if the two people do want to try and love each other, it's still a transaction, unlike many arranged marriages - which, even can still be transactional on thier own level, it's again, got more depth.
/r/RedPillWives15/08/18 06:21 PM

Because you still need commonailities with the person you're with. Problem with the mail ordered brides is they're usually not fluent in the language, come from a different country/culture than the order-er, thier priorities rarely include genuine love, moreso-attention and dependance, and again - commonalities, like interestes, religion, morals, etc. There are tons of reasons. For example, with an arranged marriage at least it's two families, externally examining those individuals, people they'…

I've always been pretty focused on my appearance, so he doesn't really say much, however he always tells me what he likes and doesn't like and I ALWAYS curved to incorporate that into my wardrobe. Basically, he does the tweaking of my wardrobe and I'm the main decider. I wear an alternative-feminine style so it's very easy to eb and flow.

Tapping onto this - while you're out shopping CONSIDER THAT YOU'LL HAVE TO CLEAN IT. There have been so many almost purchases that went back to the shelf because I just simply wasn't interested in adding those to the cleaning list.

Not even for parents! That tool is so handy, even my boyfriend tosses stuff in the baskets now because he won't know where it goes. It has made my life so much easier! Walking around the house with a basket and just putting everything back. I get why Walmart does it with their customer service carts.

You could try your hand at orchids. Look into water culture planting for them, it's hard, you may kill one or two in the learning process but once you've figure it out - you've got full, colourful blooms year around!
/r/RedPillWomen08/08/18 08:05 PM

they do have the service! Most jewelers actually have a tiny cleaning machine on hand, anytime I'm at the mall I pop into one and get whatever stuff I have on (including the pandora) done. It's nice to get them really deep cleaned every once in a while.

Immediately going out to buy peppermint oil. That's the one thing that's been irking me lately, thank you! The youtuber PickUpLimes actually suggested that bowl of balls replacing with fruit too. You'd be surprised how much more likely you are to grab something or keep it refreshed. Lemons and avocados would be such a nice colour balance though. I got one of those $20 amazon pedicure baths and started using it on him as well, highly recommend if you're willing to store it!

I know exactly how you feel then haha. It was a good turning moment for me, it reminded me I've become a woman I never intended of being. Forget the guy, forget all his pretty words. Focus on the biggest thing that came away from this - this just isn't the you you intended to be and then turn shit around - and become YOU again. Dude was just being a dude. Honestly, I took a long look at myself and asked myself in the mirror "Am I easy?" My response was "No!", but to that man - the answer was yes. So I just moved on focusing on being more intense about my self-worth. Sometimes I still get mad at him / myself for how the situation played out - end of the day, it was a learning experience. Time heals.

Let yourself feel that way, process that feeling! Don't tell him about it, just, work through it on your onw. When he comes home and you feel annoyed just remind yourself "I don't want to express this kind of feeling towards him until I understand it myself". Takes time and practice. Her husband is a stand up man, it worked out because he can't actually have kids of his own so he loves those two to death and adopted them officially. That surprised me too! He used to micromanage what I would use the knife for or the size of the veggies. He was so picky I was really worried. He must have noticed how him not eating my food was affecting me and made the effort. At least I hope that's what it is :)

Yeah it was actually surprising to me how many people responded with "he can feed himself" "why would you even pick a man picky like that if you like food". I'm glad there was so much variety in opinions though it really helped me think of a lot of different ideas and some people really gave me some stellar advice!

So these are some of my tips, if I don't feel sexually desired enough by him I get all weird so playing up the sexy housewife thing is my jam. I get changed infront of him whenever I can (ie. I'll go get changed in the living room if that's where he is). And make a tiny show of it. Nothing super obvious, just a slowly pulling the pants off the bum and slowly pulling the comfy shorts back up, so it kinda grabs your bum. I'd say let it go. Actions speak louder than words, and yours speak strongly. I think you patiently waiting and then leaving should hopefully be enough of an idea that you're more valuable than that BS. No "reason" is good enough to leave a woman standing alone waiting for you for nearly 2 hours. His texts weren't truthful, they were time buffers, but I don't think he needs a talking to. Actually, humans are tribal and we DON'T welcome strangers easily. US Liberalism pretends to be otherwise but they have institutionalized the practice of being tolerant except to haters, with haters being defined as anybody who doesn't agree with them in lockstep. You're so entirely right. It's the opposite of natural. I think maybe what's natural about it is to follow the herd. The slut-walk thing was a major moment for me too, I started dressing more covered after that. I think Lauren Southern made a video on it that just clicked. I was fully supportive of all that "YOU COULD WEAR NOTHING AND MEN SHOULDN'T LOOK" but it's like damn, nature has a way of working and no matter how many "walks" you go on, the world will always turn the same way. Also letting men do things for me felt liberating! I felt more powerful with that than I ever did doing it all myself.

My bestfriend and I were drowning in the blue for a long time too before we swallowed our red pills 6-7 years ago. I can see what you're saying. It does sound childish but I think it's a form of food aversion and not really just pickiness. So those are the solutions I've found thus far, but yeah, got most of them from "how to deal with picky eaters" parenting articles. have him explain to you what it is he doesn't like. Ah I could cry! This is exactly the kind of advice I was hoping to get. I worry about the de-mystifying. Like I mentioned he has a weird thing about germs, that correlates to what the food looks like, if anything in the food even resembles something icky it'll throw him off. For example, the little bits of white skin/fat on chicken breasts? If he sees it it makes it more difficult for him to eat it at all. So I'll start slow, but I don't think I can ever be full-on with him in that department wi…

Just because he's specific about his food does not make him a child. He wants to expand his pallet but doesn't know how. I want to help him do that because it's boring cooking these things and I want to give him the food he wants. It's not the truth, it's your opinion on what you think I'm saying. Certainly a lot of speculation on your part here. I'm not going to defend myself against these absurd claims. Yes, I like this perspective. This is what we've done in a few situations actually and it worked really well. For this, his suggestion was he'll cook for himself. He seemed very nonchalant and carefree about it. But that means he isn't eating well (since he doesn't know how to cook - ie. kraft dinner and hotdogs would be a staple meal) and that's more upsetting for me than having to make boring food. So, while this is horribly annoying, not cooking for him feels even more soul crushing than cook…

What are they Realtors? I mean, if your boyfriend is RP, then he likely has firm boundaries in place with her as it effects his business as well. I'm guessing hard friendzone. My friend and I are realtors, we've discussed working as team. His girlfriend, is insecure about it right now so we're working on the logistics. (I've been with my boyfriend almost 6 years now). I've known him for years and talk to him about everything anything, I like having his specific male perspective, also because he …

They both sound like they suck honestly. 1) is arrogant and not in a sexy way. Honesty means nothing when they're egotistical. I don't trust that he'd be a protector. 2) is beta and not in the good way. He seems like a lot of work. You're 20, it's not necessary to pick one or the other, especially so soon. That's the point of the vetting process, is to create options and pick the right choice. these two are options but surely don't sound like the ideal choice.

I tell him just because I know he gets easily paranoid about it. So it's more so just a comment like "daddy you're not a daddy yet" and he gets it. We don't speak of it otherwise, none of his beeswax honestly. I feel like if he was actively tracking my cycle, he's then also actively undermining my job as a woman. It's control a man has no right to imo.

Yeah but he probably just scrolls through his feed reacting/double tapping pretty much everything. That's how a large portion of people end up using social media anyways. Like a nosy neighbour. because it feels like it’s him interacting with/validating them. That paranoia is why I make sure they know my "no exes ever" condition. It's for my own mental health. That being said, my boyfriend could add his ex to facebook today, spam her photos and I would have to reach inside myself and find accepta…

I'm glad she touched on the biological imbalance. A woman has significant more sexual repercussions than men will ever. So many women don't even consider this and I think it's so important to distinguish.

Hm, I made it clear in the beginning that to be with me, a man can no longer be in contact with his ex. It's pretty much unspoken for my relationships so I can't say I have personal experiance, but I'd say, in that case - it tells you how little importance social media has on him. It means very little, in fact removing people feels petty because that could cause more issues in his mind then keeping them online, casually interacting/basically ignoring. Seems like to him, social media isn't much m…

So you know I’ve been seeing a therapist to work on some insecurities and issues surrounding them I have. I’ve been struggling specifically with some irrational, unfounded jealousy that stems from my personals insecurities and projections of them onto this situation. I want you to know that you’ve done nothing wrong, and your actions haven’t been the root of any of this. It’s purely a ‘me’ issue, and that’s why I’ve been trying to work through it on my own for a bit. I didn’t want to rope you in…

Honestly, I'd just say "I don't want you to be familiar with X anymore. I'd prefer if you cut her out entirely for my comfort." Tell your man your problem, not the solution, not your confusing process. I'm going do a quick edit of your letter and post in the reply.

Why not join something through your church? Since religion is important to you and something you value a lot, you may find a healthy, like-minded man through your church. I know after my cousin's divorce, she asked the Priest to help her find a guy, she keep saying how embarrasing she felt doing it, but tbh they knew her well, they knew her past and they knew what kind of man she wanted to marry - anyways. So after about a month one of the lovely women at the church introduce her to his Son, 2 y…

He also doesn't like red lipstick. This was one I was disappointed by since it's trendy and I like the 50s housewife look, but when he explained that it just made him think of strippers, I no longer wanted to wear it. Try a deep orange or bright pink instead! You'll still get that housewife vibe but not the stripper one.

Do you ask him for suggestions? Only if I'm indesisive or we're shopping, but he doesn't understand sillouttes, colour matching, textures, etc. So I take that with a grain of salt. He does however, know what he likes to see me in. does he give them himself? All the time, he compliments or tells me he isn't "fond" of it. Lovely man not to straight-up insult me. He just told me last week he likes when I dress business-casual. So I plan on buying a silk white button up to make day-to-day outfits gi…

Sidenote: I'm a freelancer, I'll be transitioning to SAH. I like this because then I'll still have the opportunity to do the work I'm good at and I love, while my husband and family take the limelight. That way, I'm still personally self fulfilled in that aspext. Many others start in-home businesses, launch a product, become independent artists, work part-time at a job they love, work with their husband, etc. There are so many things you can do that will keep you in that independent way whilst s…

Anytime one of my friends comes to a situation like this, a breaking point, where they should obviously leave for good.I know it's not really ever my place, but I have a hard time not at least trying to help them see it a bit differently than with their rose coloured glasses on. I just simply say one thing I know will give them some food for thought. Just one thing though, you can't elaborate. Planting a seed, sew to say. Like "Is this really what love is to you?" "I hope you sleep okay with tha…

Do it! I have a ton of plants, 100+. Boyfriend didn't understand my enthusiasm/passion for them before but he loves them now. I have mentally stored a few comments of his regarding my plants, so I don't even think he realizes how much they boost the overall mood and feel of our tiny (very cold/Canadian) apartment. "It's like were screwing in a rain forest, it's so cool" "I like that you decorate with plants instead of silly wasteful home decor items" "I love watching you running around tending t…

However over time I believe they crave a bit more balance, and it sounds like this is what your man is saying. Yes!! Exactly! You really hit the nail on the head. Engagement has been on the table firmly for a while now. I'm 90% sure this is the year. No concerns about our longevity at all, just the initial game plan. The cool thing is we both do exactly the same work. It's just spread differently. His workload is increasing a lot so I think he wants me to work with him as well to help reduce tha…

End of the day we're still Canadian so we'll be good. Always the opportunity to go home. It wouldn't be a permanent move either, we want to raise our family near our families, but that is something to consider. Those Americans are just weak imo and they definitely do not deserve to be here. Canada isn't this magical bubble American's think it is. Opportunity is where you make it. If he has flexibility in where he works and can make decent bucks anywhere, then why did you move to be with him? Because he didn't 3 years ago when we both just graduated college where we met. I had to move out anyways (mom sold her house and was moving up north, brother moved in with a friend), so I moved to his city since, why not? I also got an incredible job offer at a business in that city in my field (company closed after 150 years, and the i freelanced for a year before landing this cont…

Well, I appreciate you playing devil's advocate, always a useful perspective. Regarding the ring, I told him I wanted to wait until I was 25 and then he could. I just turned 25 so it's likely this year. I say "likely" because it's his decision so I have no idea and he'll want to film it so it will take time to orchestrate. He chats about it more than I do. He didn't move in yet because I told him not to, and to save his money and stay with his parents until they move (5 hours away) this spring, …

Suppose you don't leave your work, how would the situation develop? Life would go on as it is currently. I plan to leave this job in the next two years to be self employeed anyways, he just wants to do it sooner than I had mentally prepared for. Yes! That's what I would do, I'd focus on my freelance even if I was SAH. I'm always keeping it up to date as best I can but working from home I'd be able to put all my work into it. Well, there is a point. We want to be nomadic. This would do that. Since he's a youtuber, he's been offered jobs all over the US and we could travel, he also has opportunities in a few cities for good non-youtube only stable jobs. So, me being SAH would bring him flexibility with his dream career and I, in turn would get to focus on my passions only. I also only moved to this city in the first place to be with him, I hate it here. And even if you are living together, quitting your job to depend …

yesstyle, aliexpress, zaful, ebay. Cheap Chinese ones, depending on your body type. I'm petite as can be, so anything they sell works, all cheap lq material but I find I only wear it for like 5 minutes and my boyfriend has fun physically ripping them off.
