1	I think this comment deserves a post of it's own. I'm not a religious man but I was raised in a somewhat religious home (Jehovah's Witness also) and their teaching is that God punished Adam for disobeying him, not Eve. God told Adam not to eat the fruit, not Eve...so at the end of the day it was Adam who disobeyed the word of God, not his wife. Eve simply disobeyed her husband.
