so how might have the approaches have looked to someone who was good at this stuff? Like, I couldn't think of anything good or natural to come up with. Should one just go super direct, even in that sort of environment? give me a few examples, sensai

you mean revert more to the old school indirect/opinion openers ala mystery, as opposed to the mark manson, ''show your intent'' compliment type openers?

I think you'd seem like a creep I think you're right. I often hear that 'everywhere is fair game' for game, but I dunno. But like I say, the 'creep' factor wasn't really what was stopping me. I was just feeling 'lost' in terms of what to do. I've made lots of night game approaches, and I've watched lots of 'regular day game cold approaches on the street' and have at least an idea of what to do in those environments, but it doesn't necessarily transfer? For example, stopping her when she gets out …

I agree with that. Inner game has taken over so much now that it's all just about 'self improvement', but you can be your best self and still be completely fucking hopeless when it comes to girls! We need to get the balance back! Examples of what to say/talk about etc, what to do etc are helpful to me

I'm not saying your advice is bad, but I hate it when people saying things like ''Girls will see that you are lying'' etc. It's just not true. I've lied about LOTS of things with both of my one-night-stands in recent times. Lied about my age (knocked off a decade since she was a teenager!), lied about my job(was unemployed but told her I was a marketing executive), lied about where I lived, and possibly other things too! She didn't know I was lying, and i'm not some Oscar winning actor. I know f…

Frankly, if you get the rest of your shit together, the girls will show up as a side effect I'm really not so sure about that. I know way too many people with very good jobs and whose lives are presumably 'together' who absolutely SUCK with girls!

My 'hi', is always genuine. Just that , lots of the time, the girl looks at you and is like ''I don't know you. Bye!'' kind of thing

thanks. I thought my openers were a lot more interesting than most guys who just say 'hi', though? Even on seddit, the most common advice seems to be 'the opener doesn't matter - Just say 'hi''. I do my best to be a bit different and to use situational openers etc. I assumed my telling her she looked like a Russian Spy was more interesting than ''Hi, how's your night going?'' kind of thing Although, in your examples, it's more the 'follow' up as opposed to the actual opener that is different. First of all, I LOL'd at 'homeless sailor' :) - That's on point! Was 'the blueprint' when he was really thin and pale? If so, he didn't look great then, but certainly not ugly. He has nice blue eyes and a small nose and his face is fairly harmonious. Then a few years back when he was rocking a 'normal' beard and seemed in half decent shape, he actually looked somewhat handsome, to be honest. I also disagree with Todd looking like garbage. He has a nice face, too. Luke is fat, but then the 'looks…

thanks. At least it's tangible advice! I know that it happens to even good PUA's, too. That, combined with the fact that it's not as though it happens to me 100% of the time makes me think that it likely not something i'm doing 'wrong'. It's just that lots of hot yonung girls seem to think it's strange to be ''approached'. Maybe it's just a generation thing. They grew up with social media and tinder etc. I dunno. But since it happens a fair but, i'd like some ideas to at least give me a fighting…

I've not 'succeeded' but I'm not a virgin, so I guess you could call it 'success'! lol. But I tend to only get laid once every year or two and I approach quite a lot of girls. I also only go for pretty girls. I'm not interested in simply trying to get a high 'notch count' full of old, ugly, fat girls etc. I'm short and my face isn't very good looking (big nose, crap hairline etc) But to be honest, I can sympathize with them. or you're shooting way out of your range. If you approach women who are objectively more attractive than you are, you're going to get more rejections. It's just the nature of the game Don't tell that to the game purists! :) - But yeah, from a 'realistic' point of view, the problem is that i'm not very handsome, and I open girls who are gorgeous.

Maybe he has some anxiety around sex. Maybe the anti-depressants are making things even worse. Watching porn and stuff is nice because it's just zero pressure. I'm sure i've read about a million stories from girls who have a boyfriend/husband who won't fuck them, but they watch porn. I'm sure he thinks you're hot. it's kind of comlicated. Have yuo actually spoke to him about it?

Thing is, i'm in the UK. When I speak of 'night game', i'm not necessarily talking about some crazy Vegas night club. Sometimes it'll be a cocktail bar with a small dancefloor, or even a pub/bar. Loudness if often not actually the issue if you see what I mean. It seems to just be that the girls think they are all Kylie Jenner once they are dressed up for the night, and it's hard to get them to talk to you.

Do you have any 'stock' 'go-too' openers that you use? People often say that the opener doesn't matter. ''Just say 'hi''' and smile etc. But I am with JeffyRSD on this. He says that 'hi' (or many other variations of that) are AWFUL openers, especially during night game. I had at least some success with 'There she is!!!!'' as an opener. It just came to me one night and 'landed' and so I used it again a few times. It can, like most openers, also be met with hostility, though. (just like your 'who …

I'm not a virgin though. In brief my 'sex life' was a fair few makeouts from the age of like 18-20. Basically a result of being young and having a massive social circle, being around drunk girls who I knew. lost virginity at aged 21, but it was through sheer luck. A fairly hot girl happened to think I was cute ('im not good looklng at all, really) and basically pulled ME, as opposed to the other way around. I'm not entirely sure that 'if you actually mean it and it's sincere the it won't harm' is necessarily true. Personally, I ALWAYS mean it when I tell a girl she is hot, has beautiful eyes etc. I sometimes have to fight myself to NOT say it since it's my natural instinct to say it when I see a beautiful girl, and try to go instead with some sort of canned opener from the playbook as I hear lots about how you shouldn't compliment girls, ESPECIALLY as an opener. Experience wise, i've had very mixed…

Completely legit, to be fair. One of the first things I ever noticed within about 5 minutes of ever hearing about pickup, was that 95% of vids were filmed in touristy/party destinations. It makes a massive difference in my eyes. One thing that makes me laugh is a certain journal on the ROOSHV forum. yeah, she was very hot. I adore Mila Kunis! How would you have approached her? (think her and like 3 other friends just dancing, drinking in a little circle). Loud, but probably not so loud that she wouldn't be able to hear you. Do you just try to make eye contact and then offer your hand? Do you tap her and say something like a compliment or just say 'lets dance' or something? Also, do you actually talk much when dancing? (if so, what sort of things do you say? lol, sorry man! She was just too pretty. Even now in hindsight and without any pressure, i'm not sure what i'd say to open her and what i'd do etc. Should have probably maybe tried to grab her arm or something when I was dancing near her, though. In fairness, if you are referring to like 400 lb whales then maybe you're right. But with say, 5's and up, to say that one night would be enough is madness! My God, I've known so many guys who have done just that - especially in certain environments! Trying to pull every single '5' or over they lay their eyes on on a night out. Nearly always ended in failure! And unfortunately, you can't always seduce the girl you want, no matter how good your 'game' is. If she thinks you're not remotely physica…

If you go out one night and just walk up to every girl and asks if she wants to bang, the law of averages is ends with you banging a chick. lol, if that was true, this sub wouldn't exist and all guys would be getting laid non stop! trust me!

explain the tone and energy then, if you can. But really, i'm sure all of the successful guys I know don't have some special deep understanding of female psychology or of women in general! Im' sure whatever it is about 'understanding women' that you are referring too, we all would have read it before.
/r/seduction08/12/16 09:14 PM

Sure. I imagine one could be creepy whilst also being handsome and confident. But so what. What do you think there is to understand about the women they're approaching? That they don't like creepy guys? I'd assume that's a given.

I think when it comes to 'looks', a handsome face trumps all. (genetics/bone structure) Better to be tall than short of course, but I don't think it's a holy grail. My biggest slayer friend is a short ass. But he is handsome. He actually looks a lot like RSD max facially. Also Same height. Slightly more muscly. (which is why I hate it when max calls his own looks 'below average'. He's a handsome mofo, and i'm sure he knows it!)

Cheers. Yeah, i'm well aware of rsd. I've listened to most of theur stuff. I even own Maxrsd's new 'natural' product, but I just don't get any joy. Something must be 'off' (unless i'm legit repulsive to look at!) And yeah...dating apps. EVERY GUY I know in real life who gets laid, gets laid with tinder as opposed to cold approach. I guess it must be a LOT easier! (assuming one actually gets matches)

This goes away, once you know how to game girls but everyone 'games girls' in different ways? Do you mean like teasing for example? Trying to be fun? don't be afraid to talk about sex, as a matter of fact it's pretty much a requirement if you want it I'm not sure about that? I think one of the mods here recently said that you're potentially making life a lot harder for yourself by trying to bring up 'sex'. I also note that in 'the natural' by MaxRSD, he has some VERY platonic conversations with girls he meets up with for dates and then just lead them to his place and has sex. Interesting, and not a million miles away from my own thinking, based on my own experiences. Since you don't know whether they are shy or not straight away, do you always open in a fairly neutral way? (Maybe an observation or something) Regarding being cocky, give me a few examples. but when you're cold approaching a girl, she knows you want her. Especially when going 'direct'. And we are told we are supposed to 'show our intent'. And most people have stuff to live for other than girls, no? (family, friends, job, pets etc) Doesn't mean they ever get laid. Are your interactions and the words you say to women different now than they were when you ONLY cared about trying to get laid? It just makes things 100 times easier since everything you do goes through a filter of you being hot! For example, an ugly guy being quiet is 'creepy', but a good looking guy being quiet is 'myseterious and sexy'. You have a hell of a lot of room-for-error if you have model good looks. You'd need to be VERY socially unskilled to mess up. I know a guy with male model good looks, and even though he isn't socially awkward, he IS as boring as hell and doesn't really have any sense of humour, but he …

I also think sometimes It's about the girl rather than 'game'. When I worked at a delivery company, one of the office girls slept with like 5 of the 8 drivers at different times. (she was like 17, the drivers were from 25-50) I refuse to believe that they all had such great 'game'. I obviously wasn't around them, but i'd certainly imagine she kind of made it very easy for them in terms of being very forward and flirty herself.

Even though it's purely hypothetical, give me an example of how someone has sex with a coworker AT WORK within a few days of meeting them. (as seems to happen with teenagers in the restaurant industry) I can't kind of envision the process!

out sooner rather than later, you want to continue to escalate your relationship rather than let it settle at a platonic collea exactly. To be honest, that's all I actually want! I've no intetest in a relationship! But yeah, I have no idea how someone can start working at a new job, and then escelate to having sex in a bathroom (presumably for their first sexual encounter) within a week! yep, that's what I do. Swipe 'em all! It's kind of soul destroying because even though people always tell me that the standard of girls on tinder is low, I see LOTS of absolute stunners who i'd cut my thumbs off for in order to bang them. But almost never get a match and I've experimented with all kinds of pics :(

I don't know the answer. I know people who start working in a restaurant, and within 5 days, they are having sex with a hot waitress in the bathroom! I'd love to watch the WHOLE thing unfold over the course of a week so as to see how on earth that sort of thing happens, lol. I literally can't picture it! But I guess in general, you have to ask for their number at some point and then get them on a date?

so being social and funny wasn't enough. What did you change in order to make girls start noticing you? Stop being 'fun'? Start being more of an asshole? What was the change that you can pinpoint the most in terms of 'game' and personality?

I'm on nearly 300 cold approaches. 1 lay. 299 rejections. I think It's just a numbers game. 'Game'/skill barely comes into it. If she thinks you're hot, you have a decent shot. Otherwise, i'm not sure the best 'game' in the world will help you get her into bed. What about tinder? Every single guy I know who gets laid gets it from tinder. I can't really get my head around how people hook up other than directly approaching a girl at a club, or going on a 'date'. With both of them situations, you have effectively already showed your intend (with direct approach she knows you wanna bang her straight away, and with a date, well you wouldn't go on date with her if you didn't want to bang her). And so, from that point, her letting you touch her is kind of a sign that she likes you and is sort of leading you on/telling you to proceed Bu…

I guess the idea is that all of those things can be over-ridden with really good 'game', but I honestly think it's the case that when COLD APPROACHING hot girls, looks are super important, unfortunately. Contradict in what way, you think? It seems that the same people who say ''You need to get hobbies that are interesting to girls and are very social hobbies if you want girls to think your are interesting'' are the same people who, in a different thread, will say ''As long as you have a hobby that you love and are passionate about, that's enough. thanks for responding. But is it always a case of them already being into you based on your looks and stuff? Most of the stories I read about people banging these girls always starts with how the GIRL was blatantly instigating it - Where's the 'game'? If a guest was all over me, I think i'd be OK in closing the deal, but that's not the problem - how would someone actually 'seduce' a girl in that sort of situation?

they say the best way to pick up women is to not be so interested. How does that work in practice, though? I mean, we are supposed to use kino, so isn't that 'showing interest'? Even approaching a girl (especially if you open directly) is showing lots of interest, too. I'm finding it hard to find the right balance, I think, Sometimes, i'll use lots of kino, and i'll hold razor sharp eye contact with flirty smiles to show my interest, and feel I might be coming on too strong. Other times, i'll tr…

would be hard work too always think of something really unusual and creative to open/approach a girl with though, no? Like ''hot girl walking towards me. Need to do something different to just saying 'hi'...shit, what props have I got on me that I can use!?.....the paper in my back pocket? I could give it too her and tell her that she dropped it?...Or....Shit. she's gone now!''

Are you talking about social circle girls? (as opposed to cold approaching girls)

If you're going to lie to get laid, don't make the lies about important stuff, dude. " I totally met Steven Tyler once and he hit on me" is a whole different ball game from, "I saved the world from ISIS". I completely agree, and that's what I've done on occasion. Just little lies to help me make interesting conversation, and to make myself look just a little bit more successful (but nothing major - think 'manager' of a store rather than shelf stacker for example)

I - and many other guys - have no issue pulling girls in clubs or acquiring friends with benefits without having to be deceptive That doesn't surprise me. You obviously don't need to lie if you're such a big success story in life and i'm happy for you. But you're kind of giving me a hard time. I wasn't talking about huge lies like pretending to be a millionnaire or anything! This conversation started when I mentioned i'd lied about doing something exciting lke skydiving that day instead of admit…

I think I do see what you're saying. Here's the thing, though. I don't actually want a girlfriend. I guess the plan would be to get laid before she was able to find out that i'd made up some lies. To be fair, I imagine it could take a rather long time before being 'found out' so it should be a 'non-event'. And if I DID want a serious girlfriend, then I wouldn't want to be with someone who only wanted to be with me because they thought I was a hedgefund manager with loads of spare money who can a…

You say that it's a terrible idea, but it actually 'worked' for me. I done the same thing in a bar once (lied about all kind of things) and i'm sure it helped me get laid. It couldn't have 'shone through in my behaviour' or come across as 'needy or desperate for approval',because if it did, i'd guess she'd have not slept with me. I think I have the potential to be a good actor! I've wasted my gift :) Besides, lots of the mystery method routine stuff relies on lots of little lies so maybe it's no…

yeah, I mean, asking about tinder dates and stuff seems 'normal' to me, but as you can see, some people have said that that's a big 'no no', so as is often teh case, it's hard to know what to do and what not to do since everyone tells yuo different things. (Similarly with 'talking and asking about their family - some say 'NOooooo! that's boring and what every boring guy asks! be fun!!'', but others say that it's a good thing to ask and talk about)

One thing I done on one date out of sheer desperation was make up a fake story about something I don that day that seemed exciting, and it definitely helped. Maybe i'll always start each date with a fake story about having been skydiving that day or something as an experiment - could maybe 'break the ice' well

It's one of those things where if you had to ask, you probably wouldn't get it even if we explained Never ask about tinder dating history Well now I'm glad I DID ask,, because now i know not to ask about her tinder dating history! I wouldn't have known that otherwise ;)

The only thing that ever springs to my mind on the spot after I open (I only approach at night) is like ''So, what are you guys up too tonight?'' I don't think it's good though. Probably a boring interview question, but I never know what else to say, really. I guess it would also be a bit weird to start asking her about her hobbies and stuff so soon after opening when you still have barely spoken. I'm not sure what the answer to your question is, really.

I personally think that the best way at getting good at conversation might be to simply be around people all of the time, ideally sociable people, and almost 'learn' from them in terms of what they talk about, and how they phrase things etc. I've always had bad social skills and here is a little example: When I first started going to bars and stuff, sometimes i'd approach a group of random girls or something, and I wouldn't know what to say in order to address teh group as a whole. The only thin…

Smile lots. Guys can get intimidated when a girl looks serious. We;re already bricking it about approaching a girl, and if she looks angry, it;s more likely we'll talk ourselves out of it! Appear happy and make good eye contact with people
