We do not align with that garbage. Those men are idiots. We align with traditional, hard working, RESPECTFUL men.

I mean it’s funny and totally how my brain is speaking at times, but realistically, no- it’s not good. It’s mind games, it’s passive aggressive, it’s “two wrongs don’t make a right”. It relays on negativity, judgement of character, intimidation, and fear, all of which develop negatively on both the giver and receiver. It’s damaging to your relationship, there’s no benefit. It won’t get him to open up, it’ll hinder communication further between you both. Bullying in and of itself can cause depres…

Your husband isn’t a man of good faith or value. He’s turned his wife into a sex slave. That’s appalling, a great sin, lust, he’s following the devil and forcing you to too. This is not a marriage red pill or surrendering will resolve because this is an abusive one sided marriage where all respect for you has gone out the window. Cheater too ofc. I don’t see any value in this man besides that he provides for you financially. But you’re his slave, so he’s paying to keep his sex slave. My only adv…

He picked a 20 year old because women over the age of 30 wouldn’t play his manipulative abusive controlling game. You’re drained and confused because he’s trying to train you into being his submissive useless wife that doesn’t talk back to him, and that’s SCARY. I say this as a woman with traditional gender roles who is a stay at home. This is not how good men talk or treat women.

It’s not bullshit, because I know for myself it worked first hand. Marriage =/= Love. Since my advice worked for me, it can absolutely work for someone else, humans aren’t robots, they’re enigmas. So of course there is ALWAYS a risk you can lose everything, that always a possibility with anything in life. This is again why in this subreddit especially, we encourage vetting and vetting very very seriously. If I hadn’t properly vetted my man, the wait would have been a “play stupid games, win stup…

He wanted the joys and benefits of a relationship without the actual complete commitment. I doubt he really realized he’s been using you. Probably doesn’t have hard conversations with himself about what he actually wants in life and if he can’t do that with himself he can’t communicate that with a partner and therefor strung you along.

Think you’ve got a lot of confidence building to do. Too much of your self worth is wrapped up in him and that’s not conducive to a successful relationship. My grandma always said, it’s not two 50% people coming together to become 100%, it’s about two 100% people coming together to become 200%. Sounds like you’ve been trying to force this man into your “perfect partner” box for far too long and he just won’t fit. He has traits you can’t ignore and he makes you feel unsafe and insecure. Like the …

You have entirely different outlooks in life, even if all your goals are aligned, sometimes that can work wonderfully, sometimes it won’t. Regardless, this is who he is. So if you’re happy to be a never ending cheerleader for not you and him, without expecting the same energy reciprocated then by all means go for it! However if you find you’ll become exhausted and worn out by his constant pessimism then that’s fine too and you can break up. Really it’s about what you want in a partner and what n…

buying a home, and selling it next week can make plenty of financial sense depending on the market and mortgage. Insane to let him talk you out of such a good personal financial move for yourself. Keep your standards the way they are.

I mean harem animes are pretty whatever, I love a lot of anime’s like that and some of them aren’t even super hyper sexualized. I agree with the other commentor that you cannot change someone and if he doesn’t show the initiative and self discipline on his own accord he’s will NOT change just to marry you. Harsh reality, he needs to change for himself without your mothering, or it’ll only ever be temporary.

love this answer, think context matters. Lots of women love to read smut but they’re still very respectable women. I consider it just a form of smut, which lots of people also consider art. if it’s not too bothersome to Op, I think your compromise is an awesome suggestion. He can enjoy the hobby but for the respect of his partner, keep it private.

Has he gotten you anything before? then something like “babe I LOVE this item so much, it makes me so happy that you got it for me, thank you again” I find anytime I am hardcore in vocalizing my appreciation for the gifts, he tends to want to get me more things. You always HAVE TO work, in some capacity, or then you just want to be a trophy, spoiled. there’s a massive difference between being a spoiled trophy wife and a stay at home wife that’s a homemaker.

My husband ensured I was well taken care of before marriage with the unspoken condition that I continue to better my own skills and achieve my own financial goals alongside those of our combined goals and his independent goals. Part and parcel in him taking care of me is ensuring I’m a practical, capable, fiscally responsible woman in my own right, because you truly never know what could happen and he knows for example if his father died, there’s so much his mother wouldn’t be able to achieve on…

You still need hard skills to back yourself up incase anything happens, like if your husband died, or got sick? how would you pay your bills? You need to have some skills that can get you income. So you need to continue to focus on that first and foremost. It’s a great goal but don’t be naive about it. Life experience and work experience is valuable for women too. For example I have an education in tv and film, worked in tv for years (think hgtv) and I now have significantly more skills that I h…

My skills never go away if I keep up to date on tech. Im also university educated. I bet if your boyfriend was supportive and understanding before he will continue to do so now. Obviously he’ll be disappointed, you are too after all! Sometimes life throws us curveballs and we have to make due. Hopefully you can find some work arounds, maybe you’ll start learning the landlords schedule and find you actually have X days a week to see him. where did you find this general consensus? Porn usage can be healthy, (also depending on the source of the porn, ie consenting adult entertainers who are paid). If he’s not watching it when you’re together it’s because he’s got you. Is he telling you he’s consuming porn? are you snooping? assuming? how have you come to this conclusion exactly?

My nails are never done, check r/longnaturalnails, you’d be amazed at what just a file can do. I use my hands a lot so they break often and when I do I just keep them even, just get a small brush (or old toothbrush) to use to clean under your nails when you wash your hands and jojoba oil if you’re feelin fancy! “he doesn’t spoil me” lists off that he pays for dates, buys you gifts here and there, buys you flowers, brings you food. That’s a lot of kindness you’ve shoved into the “doesn’t spoil me” category. Why would he want to do more for you if you’re so ungrateful for what he already does? Why on earth would he pay your bills if you don’t live together? You sound like you want to be pampered, which is fine but it’s an unrealistic expectation here.

He cried because he knew what this meant. He’s not in the right place to commit to a relationship like you want. He’s only 24 so that’s totally fine but you have other more immediate goals and you need to move on. Lack of conversation can be put into the same category as disinterested. If he’s disinterested in the conversations then the actions aren’t even on his mind.

I always say “Happy Wife Happy Life” is accurate but it DOESN’T mean that at the cost of a husband sacrificing his well being. Happiness needs to come FROM the wife. We are responsible for our own happiness, our own actions, our own emotions. When we are stable and happy everyone else, especially our men, experience the residual benefits. If this MARRIED man is texting you this? He’s horny, he’s lonely, he’s disrespectful and he’s a coward. Your lifestyle goals will clash heavily with those of a parent. While you’re right that older men with children can be a good sign as it shows he’s capable of caring for someone other than himself however, if he is a good man, he will always prioritize those children over himself AND any partner. Therefore it’ll be inevitable for conflict to arise. As long as he meets the goals within your relationship decided between the two of you, then that’s a good man. In fact, many of us pick men who start out low earning and with time, hard work and a good woman behind them they end up being high earners. But no, we do not define a high value man based on his income. It can be a fac…

Very valuable insight. My husband was definitely the small stable investments build the pyramid type, it seemed unimpressive at first but he’s now developed himself into someone so financially impressive I keep counting my blessings. His Personal financial goals are a huge factor here for women to look at when vetting.

Yes, red flag. By all means lots of women are married to men with wandering eyes, for some men it’s just a visual enjoyment, like looking at cars. What you need to know is what kind of a woman you are. Are you comfortable with this? You said no, you set a boundary and then he followed more models. That’s blatant disrespect, he confirmed what you wanted and actively did the opposite. That’s more of an issue than looking at women, it’s that he doesn’t value your boundaries or respect you. That’s w…

As a woman, you NEED to follow those gut feelings, if it EVER feels weird or off about someone you are entirely justified to cut contact with them. You do not owe anyone your time, your words, your attention, your emotions, your energy. (excluding your married husband and your children). You are entirely justified feeling uncomfor…

What i find is interesting in a lot of black culture, take Nigerian for example, conservative values follow along heavily with how women from that culture operate, they’re powerful figureheads in their families who are well respected and yet they’re just mothers and wives. If it makes you feel any better I’m white/asian and I get the same bullshit.

Then maybe like I said to the other girl, if you’re constantly improving yourself, keep a friendly demeanour and are an interesting and valuable person on your own- then maybe you just haven’t met the right person yet! Sometimes just with all the small things in attraction and compatibility, lifestyle, it just takes some time to find the right person to gel with. Keep putting yourself out there, continue vetting and hopefully you’ll find someone when God intends!

There you go, get to the root of the issue! It’s your relationship is lacking quality time, the problem isn’t the friend or hearing about him. Have you tried planning a date? What do you have to do in your free time without him? Do you have friends?

all because they’re a woman who wants to be with a woman who has a vagina 😭 people are deranged! I’m the same way, no issues with what anyone wants to be in their personal life, but the moment you take a shot at naturally born women or try to say you fully understand our experience? A jokester.

Yes! My friend got asked her pronouns and she has PCOS so some facial hair and she fully crumpled inward emotionally afterwards. She was even wearing a dress! She still struggles now from that comment, always asking if something makes her look manly. So angry such a stupid comment could destroy a woman’s whole self esteem because some loser thought they were being woke and kind to her.

Right?? Some of the obscure things people twist their mouths to say. Blaire White is my fave trans commentator, she points out so much of that crazy shit, been watching her since 2015 and I probably align the most politically with her views.

there’s a video by the CUT maybe, Odd Man Out Feminist edition and (aba and preach had a good take) but basically the trans man (FTM) and the gay man, steam rolled over the born woman who literally just said she’s had a hard time speaking up in male dominated spaces. It’s shocking how they can’t see how diving and stupid they sound.

this is super similar to what I made a comment about, watching my friends (one who is seeing a divorce lawyer today) behave the way they did and how the men responded, it was depressing. Then I looked at my aunt and uncle, happily married still 40 years later, cheesy couple, happy grown kids, entered thier grandparent era. She’s been a homemaker the entire time, he runs a company (that employs a lot of family actually) and they host a lot of the best family events. They’re living proof. So I sta…

Sounds like you equally have great sexual desire for eachother, the fact that it’s not a huge pull for you outside of when you’re together says it’s the specific person that you’re both drawn to. That’s a beautiful connection! The regret can come from past teachings of what sex should mean to you. I’m the main initiator in my relationship, felt strange because I too was taught men were the ones to approach. You didn’t build your self esteem enough if one failed date is resulting in your completely crumbling. I encourage nun mode. We as women are NOT measured by the amount of men attracted to us and not by our failed dates. In the words of rupaul “if you can’t love yourself how in the hell are you going to love anybody else” if people read that you don’t like yourself, then why would they be encouraged to like you? Celebrities/Household names =/=HVM Anyone who is a famous athlete, influencer, policy maker, celebrity, etc shouldn’t be looked at to as the goal. Your thinking is pretty nationalist, which is fine, but you only need ONE man, and he doesn’t have to be famous. Absolutely, I remember being very emotional when he hadn’t proposed 2, 5, 6 years down the line, but then you have a choice to either stay or leave. As I said to another woman, if he’s making actionable tangible steps towards a committed life, (owning property or putting financials towards a combined life, talking about children, etc) it’s an ongoing and open conversation, then I think there doesn’t have to be a dead fast timeline. If he’s the RIGHT man, the one you want to be with for life, and…
/r/RedPillWomen05/07/23 11:14 PM

That absolutely does! As long as he’s making tangible steps to prove he’s committed I think timelines can be heavily adjusted. Important part is you’re both working towards the same objective, a happy, stable and fulfilled life together. Marriage is a part of that and when it’s meant to happen it will. That’s what happens in stable long term committed relationships!

I would say yes and no. Yes, because that’s the easiest way to attract men right? visually. No, because in terms of longevity and partnership, I think attraction is subjective and not indicative of overall value. One of my bestfriend’s his wife is an absolute rockstar. You need to work on breaking your train of thought. Every time you look at another couple start talking to yourself about something entirely different. You have to be incredibly persistent with your positive inner voice, you have to be hard on yourself and tell yourself “that’s bullshit, I’m fine” even if you think you’re not. Once your brain starts actively thinking more positively you can start breaking down deeper issues and possibly try therapy again.

You can know more and be a leader in plenty of areas that suit you and YOUR relationship. You may find a man that knows nothing about say mechanics and you know a ton, a good masculine man would take time to learn from you but you need to be able to teach those things on a feminine manor, that’s it. Think of the Captain and First Mate metaphor used here often, He is captain and the captain is unable to work a part of the ship (life) or isn’t usually in control of that aspect of the ship, then th…

Femininity is so deep, you’re absolutely right and that’s what we try to encourage here. A feminine woman can be anything she wants to be, I’ve fixed countless things on my car, I’ve rebuilt an entire kitchen, I’ve raced snowmobiles. Femininity like others have said isn’t decided by hobbies or skill sets but more of mannerisms, relationships and communication styles. :)

Nothing, but you want to be with a man you trust in a relationship you feel secure in. Sometimes men will buy what they want instead of work for it, they don’t appreciate the housewife work and expect it, because you’re there to look good and do what you’re supposed to do. With a man you trust, a Captain, there is no fear of that so any spoiling or trophy style behaviour he wants is done out of love and commitment and not done just to ensure he has the pretty wife and the pretty life. i think li…

also adding that men only really start settling down on average around the age of 30. The only men you’re missing out on are the ones that want a TON of kids, as just biologically speaking we (i’m also 29) don’t have as much time to make as many kids. So unless you want like 4+ kids your age shouldn’t be an issue.

As long as your job doesn’t prevent your from being available and attentive, you could be an NBA star, a mechanic, or a florist and it all means the same. it’s because red pill for men is VERY different than it is to us, but people who avoid critically thinking or choose ignorance and won’t take that extra step to look at what red pill women offer and how we are not the same “red pill”. Reality is red pill was derived from the Matrix, it’s a pill indicating reality. Nothing crazy but “red pilled” has a general correlation to the Male Red Pill which is absolutely different than that of the Female Red Pill.

I try to keep a positive demeanour during these conversations because I think men are taught that usually the women checking where you are or in on you are needy or controlling or untrusting.I go extra sweet. If my husband responded with “idk when it’ll be home” then we’d agree on a time frame in which he make a decision to return home or stay out with the likelihood of not coming home until the am. Sometimes he’ll even pop me a text from another phone if his died but he’s really going above and beyond there. Plug his phone in for him before he goes out on nights like this so he’s safely charged and can call a cab or you or whatever he needs.

A “red pill man” is not ideal. They’re taught women are disposable and how to chase to get laid and served, not how to be respectable men who have happy marriages and healthy lives. We’re locked down still here so we can’t go anywhere :( I’ve suggest a picnic but he didn’t want to. We’re both very very touchy which is part of why I’m frustrated and confused. I try to even plan for times like before bed or in the morning or I offer him to join my showers. I really appreciate all this advice. I’ll keep applying, I’m thinking it’s now just a combination of being stuck inside and being stuck together. Need some absence to keep those hearts fonder.
/r/RedPillWomen28/05/21 02:38 PM

You’re probably right. I just don’t know how to offer him that, I’m high risk so I can’t leave the home and he doesn’t seem to want to. I suggest he goes and visits his parents and he’ll get a beer with his dad like once a month. I also don’t bother him from 8-6 because I consider them office hours. I try to keep myself busy in other rooms but like I said very small apartment (under 600sqft) so I think just my presence carries. Any ideas on how maybe I can navigate this?
/r/RedPillWomen28/05/21 02:35 PM

Couldn’t be either. Apartment is too small, I considered mastuebation but his showers are the only time he spends alone and they’re so fast I can’t imagine he even has the time! I’m hoping he’s at least doing it in the shower honestly. Cheating is physically impossible as he’s not left the apartment on his own since the pandemic. I don’t think he’s releasing AT ALL, and that’s part of my concern.

This is exactly why every woman should own a little black dress. Then you pair it with cute shoes, bag and accessories per the season. With accessories, in the words of Coco Chanel - always take off one thing before leaving. Winter, however, anything that looks a bit flowy. My go-to outfits are usually knee-high black boots, tights, a skirt, a cute top and a cozy cardigan (in this scenerio, I'd swap the top/cardi combo for a really pretty long-leave dress shirt you can tuck into the skirt (show …

Sure it can! Plenty of rust-covering metal paints. And for laminate/formica you just sand it down first, prime it twice, paint it, top coat it. Use a water-based paint, not latex. Laminate paint or interior acrylic would be my suggestion! Alternatively - stick and peel laminate. OR omg I'm swirling with ideas now. WALLPAPER - give it a funky pattern, seal it up.

I've just never NOT been unemployed. I was just making ends/payments meet with my job so I'm sort of freaking out. His income is good, but he reduced his hours so he could work on his business, so his income actually isn't much more than our bills as well. I can't have this debt hanging over me either, so I'd prefer to find work I can do from home to keep myself as a cost-zero (so either I'm paying everything to make ends meet or I'm bringing in money) I just don't want to burden him financially…

Could be phrasing, it's a pick-and-choose kind of subreddit, it's about what tools and mindsets you find benefit the life you're trying to create. Every person is in some way affected by what we perceive we SHOULD look like, instead of embracing what we actually look like and building on it.

as someone with 34A's, your chest size is literally meaningless, there are COUNTLESS quality men interested in our chest size. It's about how you hold it, not the cup size. So take that nonsense off your plate because all your doing is adding to your insecurities and fixating on something that's irrelevant. Same with your face, learn to work with what you have and get over it.

If he already said in August that's what he wants then he's probably honest. First, this time of the year is often busy finacially, family wise, seasonally (if you're somewhere cold). It's busy, not really a common time for people to propose. He's 44, that's worth considering as well, he's not looking for something quick, he's looking for something long-lasting and that would take more time to consider, espeically if he's recovering from a failed marriage. Tone always matters. It could have been what pushed him to make the choice to lie, some people will lie if someone comes at them with a "you're already in trouble" tone. So that's why I asked. However, since OP's tone was no-accusatory, there's no reason for a knee-jerk reaction to lie.

Girl you're on SUCH a good personal track. Your life sounds a bit clustered if anything but that'll go away once you get settled on your 2020 program. Surely moving in with your SO will allow you to pay more towards the loans each month as well. I think as long as you play smart with your money, you'll be on track for what you seem to want. (if you can, start putting aside 10-15% of your income to pay towards your loans).

Oh for sure moissanite is an amazing option! Thankfully the diamonds hopefully will be smaller additions and hopefully that alone will make it more affordable (since they're tiny we can risk lower clarity too so that should help!) my bestfriend's ring is black moissanite since she wanted a black diamond but didn't want anyone selling a kidney haha.

His palate has expanded INSANELY and he's starting to get excited about Wednesday more than grilled chicken/rice/broccoli Mondays. How do you manage to avoid being desperate while remaining in love? Self-respect. When is the right time to sleep with a guy? I've heard that some men pretend to commit, only to be able to get laid. How can you tell that he truly loves you, and not just your body? That he won't tell you that you are "not his type" after a few months of sleeping with you? Really depends on you and the guy. Practice and holding out. Sex is your tool, use it wisely. Get yourself off in private if you can't control …

Illegal discrimination from employers is very real and very often hard to prove, with such a high demand for jobs in Toronto and the competition, it's pretty common that if two people are equally qualified, they'll choose the "better looking" person.

'Going on the hunt' is going to sound bad to someone who already assumes you're sexist. It's a perfectly fine turn of phrase. Look for women who are willing to adapt, women to pay attention to their own behaviour, women who want more value from sex. These are traits you can easily weed out through conversation. I think the library is a great place, girls who tend to play games (like actually play) tend to be less on the feminist boat as well. So hobby gaming is an option. What kind of things are…

I meant in comparison to the US, which is nearly 10% higher. We also have a lot more incentive programs here, programs for children within the school systems and laws restricting certain foods (like supersizing within fast food resturants). yeah so comparably I'm from Toronto, our country first and foremost doesn't have an obesity epidemic but most women in this metropolitan are relatively in shape. My vetting is solid and I honestly would have been alpha widowed years ago had I not changed my lifestyle, he's a hard 9 and puts up with no bullshit. I'm so proud of myself and the man I'm with. We see eye to eye on what we want.

Exactly. To me, being at home is far more valuable to me than being able to have more income. If we have more than enough together, then we think it's better that one person is home creating MORE value overall. I'm a sad, absent, selfish and I'd even say, aggresive (in the sense of I got after what I want relentlessly, as in, I will climb to the top until I can't anymore) career woman. But I'm naturally a happy, calm and nurturing person at my core. I'm more myself as a homemaker, I'd be more va…

Hi! Nice to hear there are other ladies in this city who feel the same. My thoughts exactly! We plant to move up to the Huron County to buy a home anyways so Toronto income + Huron living = comfy! Me working just seems like it would make our life sadder because money isn't really an issue for him.

Absolutely not chastising all women. I could see after re-reading how that comes across. I may have had my female friend group in mind, they're actively shaming my best friend for being a SAH. They're very vocal about how pathetic they think it is. They talk about it as if being a SAH is giving up ALL you independence, ALL your financial security. That's what I meant when I said "risky". I don't think it's an issue that people find it risky, at all. I'm coming from a place where specific people …

Man I wish someone told me the first one. Really look back and miss out on not having learned about myself as a woman, rushing to date the first guy who told me I was pretty, not learning enough skills or adventuring enough. Now I want kids of my own and I think about how I don't want them to experiance the same thing. Don't rush to leave highschool. Don't rush to graduate. Don't rush to have a boyfriend. Don't rush to have sex. Just take life at YOUR pace, not the pace it's dragging you along a…

It's similar to what Ben Shapiro likes to talk about. If culture around sex changes, then statistics and relationships will too. I think birth control is vital for many many many women. I also think there are a lot of women taking it who should NOT be because of how it affects them specifically. Myself for example, I got off it because it caused issues for me (tried several brands of oral, ring and IUDs). It just couldn't mix with my other medication without making me really irritable. My bestrf…

"Providing" is what's deep-rooted in men. Not "breadwinning". If he can still provide significantly for your family whereas you cannot - then he's got his masculinity in check. He could be a stay-at-home dad and you can still be very RP, as long as he feels he's providing for his family, then you'll be golden. You can still be the breadwinner and he can still be the Captian.

What was his gesture? Because what he did was pretty lame. Don't put too much weight on his sweet nothing comments. Actions are louder than words. Also search up the term "softboy" it's like a fuckboy but they go for the emotional stuff too. Still puts you in the plate position.

Yes of course. Very important. Like I said I'm an artist /graphic designer so thankfully my work is all skill/portfolio/network based. Age/experience don't matter as much as the outcome. I wasn't hit with any kind of baby fever until 24. Had zero interest in even holding my friends' kids, even less interest in photos of them. Seriously expected to never want kids. I'm 26 now and I almost cry sometimes from how badly I want to be a mom and how cute kids can be. A huge jump start to that feeling for me was finding a man who carried strong values and when I saw him playing with his niece, my heart skipped. I wanted kids with him. Anything you'd use lemon rind for you can substitute with lemon balm! You could add it in sauces or salad dressings. Add it to shortbread cookies for faint lemon taste. You could also dry it out and make a mixed herb spice with it. I also really like adding a few sprigs in with my mint iced tea!

He really loves my broccoi soup too, but it's 100% not the same. I've tried a few copycat receipes with no luck. I typically use sharp cheddar and a bit of parm. Both of those options still appeal to an alpha male. The thought of a woman who WANTS him to talk to her is motivating and confidence building. Doing it on their own is self-driven and independent - yes, but there are benefits to both methods. Both of them require HIM to make the overall decision of approaching. And like another user said, depending on the location the culture around men approaching women has changed so it's "easily" inviting if you just drop subtle hints. Either work, I guess i…

I also suggest getting involved in something that has men in it that you admire. For example, my bestfriend really admires men who work with trucks. I'm not wrong. I never said it wasn't racist. Of fucking course it is! What place in the world ISNT? Racism is alive and well in every facet of every country. I just said it's pale in comparison to practically every other nation. And for the record - it's just racism. Not "silent racism". It doesn't need a special title just because it isn't outspoken. It's as dumb as the concept of reverse racism. Racism is racism. It's plain and simple.

It's really not that racist of a country, maybe leave your bubble. I can almost guarantee every other country is more racist than ours. There are people who genuinely appreciate your race and culture so just sweep him under the rug like the rest of the dirt. You ruined absolutely nothing but his false persona. He's actual trash.
