You don’t know what you have until it’s gone! You will never see him again, move on with your life!

Yes, Canada sucks. It's a great place to visit but I would never want to live there. It's too socialist for my taste...

No, most states or countries don’t recognize common law. Either way, always own your own home!

Why would she change her mind? She’s already emotionally disconnected from you and is sleeping with tinder hookups. Time to move on and move forward with your life.

Sounds like you need new friends that don't hang out with your Ex!

Just stop, no reason needs to be given. It's not working out how you expected and she isn't using the money on your son. She's spending it on herself.

A woman 5 years younger, master's degree, professional career, no history of mental illness, no kids, owns own home, car, retirement account and has savings. Beyond that, has empathy, is caring, attractive with a high sex drive. Since it isn't possible to find a woman like this I'll never get married again, lol.

I wouldn't say it's a problem but I got into bourbon as a hobby. I don't drink too much but I like looking for hard to find bottles and have built up a pretty sizable collection, lol. It's an expensive hobby but I have a nice bourbon bar at home now. I have about 40 bottles and I've sampled about half the bottles so far. I started an infinity bottle and just enjoy the thrill of getting those hard to find bottles at regular store prices not secondary marked up prices.

You had your priorities all wrong, your own happiness is the most important thing always! You can’t make others happy if you’re not happy yourself! Work on becoming your best self and focus on what makes you happy. You only get one life, enjoy it to the max!

That doesn’t matter, if you don’t press charges she will tell the court you are the abuser, she will get custody and the house and you will be paying thousands just to clear your name and try and get your kid back.

There is nothing wrong with it! It's unhealthy to find validation from other people. You should derive happiness from yourself, not other people! Only co-dependent simps can't be happy living on their own. There are many types of love in this world that don't involve being in a romantic relationship. The love of friends and family can be just as gratifying.
/r/Divorce_Men21/08/23 05:44 PM

False! In fact long term relationships aren't even a natural part of human history and are a relatively new invention. Very few relationships even last 20+ years. Several short to mid term relationships are more likely and you shouldn't get married if you only stay together for 5-7 years.
/r/Divorce_Men21/08/23 05:13 PM

Who says you have to go places with her? Get some friends and travel or go on your own! There is no reason why you can't go places without her! Just because your married doesn't mean she's handcuffed to you!
/r/Divorce_Men16/08/23 07:52 PM

Shut that shit down immediately! Tell her you can’t, you have a date.
/r/Divorce_Men15/08/23 01:00 AM

Not normal, you need to let your support network know that this is happening so they can be there for you if/when you're ready to talk about it.

Nope!!! Not your problem anymore

It’s over, she wanted to be with other guys and has no respect or love for you. You are now plan B since it may not have worked out. Find your balls, get a lawyer and have her served. Do it now while she isn’t thinking clearly and is very emotional. The longer you wait the more time she has to screw you over.
/r/Divorce_Men23/07/23 05:01 PM
2

Cut her off financially, tell her to move out and have her served. She will change her attitude real quickly!
/r/Divorce_Men22/07/23 07:10 PM
2

Every time she mentions or threatens it you must report it to authorities. Most states will send police or medical crew to pick her up and have her put into observation for 24-48 hours or until they believe she isn't a threat. That way there is a record of each attempt, eventually she could be placed in a mental institution if she doesn't get better.

It's funny because all of those "conservative" women are pissed now and are going to vote against the GOP because they are taking away their unlimited income for doing nothing.
/r/Divorce_Men10/07/23 12:55 PM

Obviously never get married or even emotionally attached to any woman. They can’t be trusted so there is no point in trying to have a long term relationship with them.
/r/Divorce_Men06/07/23 10:58 AM
1

100% BS, men like to trade up too but they don't, they honor their commitment. That's something women can't do and never have done. They don't have a reason to do it because they can always find a replacement in 1 minute.
/r/Divorce_Men06/07/23 12:54 AM

Get out now!!! Who cares about what you have invested so far, it's far less than it will be if you stay any longer with her! Don't fall into the sunken cost fallacy, rip the Band-Aid off and get out!

She doesn't need your help, she needs therapy. This is not something you can fix or help with.
/r/Divorce_Men27/06/23 01:06 PM

Don't confuse love and relationships with marriage. You can have a perfectly loving relationship with someone without signing a contract. There is literally no reason to ever get married.

You should have reported your wife's behavior long ago, she is a monster and belongs in jail.
/r/Divorce_Men19/05/23 11:19 AM

/r/Divorce_Men27/04/23 12:19 PM

Ask your wife if you can have a girlfriend if she is unwilling to meet your emotional and physical needs but divorcing is too complicated financially.
/r/Divorce_Men21/04/23 03:34 PM
7

That's women for you, they base their entire life on how they feel at any particular moment without any care of anyone else or future plans or ramifications. It's not logical and you will never understand no matter how much empathy you have. It's best to just focus on what you can control with yourself and your kids from now on. Stop doing anything at all for her and respond only if it's about the kids or bills.
/r/Divorce_Men20/04/23 07:29 PM

Sorry this happened to you but she was never yours, just your turn. Unfortunately you got stuck with someone else's leftovers and now he's read to eat them. Good riddance of that trash!

Unlikely with 6 kids to take care of, then she won’t be able to cheat!
/r/Divorce_Men07/04/23 01:00 PM

Why go back now? What has changed in her or the relationship to make it better? If nothing has changed then this is just a stall tactic to prepare and screw you over in the future or she broke up with her side piece and has regrets.

There should be no reason to move out! It's your house too, she won't bring dates over if you and the kids are there, tell her to move out if she wants to ho around town.

Pick a country with traditional values and gender roles. Countries like Brazil or Colombia where loyalty and family come first.
/r/Divorce_Men04/02/23 02:01 PM

There is no way to save it, she checked out long ago. You need to come to terms with that and move on from her as she has no respect or love for you.
/r/Divorce_Men03/02/23 04:01 PM
7

I would ask her what she would like to spend time doing because the time you are spending together she isn't enjoying apparently. Maybe sign up for an activity together or something.
/r/Divorce_Men02/02/23 01:13 PM

She's checked out of the relationship because she has feelings for someone else. She won't be coming back. Get out as fast as you can!

There is no saving a relationship once your partner is checked out and is filled with resentment. Move on is the only option

It won't work that way, she is entitled to half of that money or anything you buy with it...
/r/Divorce_Men24/10/22 09:15 PM
2

Not possible to work it out if you don't have a sexual relationship with your wife and you are cheating on her for years...
/r/Divorce_Men24/10/22 08:46 PM
2

There is no reason to get married on paper. The only thing it does is make you financially responsible for someone else for life. People can change a lot so that awesome girl you married can turn into a nightmare psycho in 5 years and then you’re screwed.
/r/Divorce_Men03/10/22 11:44 AM
7

Stay far away!!! Don’t ever get married unless she is wealthy
/r/Divorce_Men02/10/22 07:08 PM

Sorry to hear this but you may want to DNA test your kids just to be certain since she was cheating before and after you were married....get a lawyer and get a game plan now!
/r/Divorce_Men01/09/22 03:59 PM

Most humans are untrustworthy pieces of garbage. Be more selective of who you trust and always verify that their words and actions line up. There aren't many truly genuine people but when you find one don't let them go.
/r/Divorce_Men25/08/22 11:35 AM

I'll always have hate for them for them in the back of my mind but have mostly forgotten about them. Time does heal.
/r/Divorce_Men09/08/22 01:48 PM

Don't ever leave the house! Whatever you do get back there ASAP before you file or she will say you abandoned the home and you won't be allowed to return.

It's sad but this is why you never get married...
/r/Divorce_Men03/08/22 03:20 PM

There is no point to get married.
/r/Divorce_Men28/07/22 05:33 PM

Ah, you follow the middle eastern "morals" of abusing women and giving them no rights. Got it.
/r/Divorce_Men28/07/22 04:18 PM
1

You have no morals, got it.
/r/Divorce_Men28/07/22 03:58 PM

What the hell are you talking about? Of course men cheating impacts the wife and family. He is giving resources to other women and if he gets his mistress pregnant now he has another child to support financially and parent which takes time and money away from the core family. All cheating impacts the core family structure, stop lying to yourself!
/r/Divorce_Men28/07/22 01:41 PM

You’re a homewrecker and your affair partner is a coward and weak. Odds are he will never go through with the divorce once he realizes how much he will lose financially and time spent with his children. You will be nothing but his mistress until his wife puts and end to things permanently.
/r/Divorce_Men28/07/22 11:34 AM

Time to move on, she isn't in love with you and you can't force someone to love you. The marriage is over.
/r/Divorce_Men27/07/22 08:32 PM

Guess what....you get to have your own fun with new partners too!
/r/Divorce_Men26/07/22 05:15 PM

No, if she is lawyering up you need a shark lawyer! Don't even think about it, just do it!

Go on a spending spree and buy stuff that you can resell later. That’s what women do with hand bags. Also, when you go shopping use your debit card and always get cash back so it looks like you spent it on groceries but you can hide the cash in a safe.
/r/Divorce_Men26/07/22 09:14 AM

Sell and let her find a place to live on her own.
/r/Divorce_Men25/07/22 02:01 PM

You were never ready to be in a relationship to begin with as you never healed from your childhood trauma. Get to therapy now! Work on your self esteem and self love and become the best self you can be. Once you have self love and have done the work with your therapist then you can start trying to connect with others.
/r/Divorce_Men06/07/22 08:51 PM

Wow, what a toxic witch. What she doesn't understand is that she doesn't get to dictate the terms of the divorce. You are both entitled 50% of assets acquired during the marriage. She is projecting her insecurities on to you. She is mentally weak and can't handle situations that she is unable to control. Get a lawyer, get a plan and get her served!
/r/Divorce_Men22/06/22 05:03 PM
2

No offense but you aren't a good man or father if you spend all your time at work. Work/life balance is important to keep your family together. She should have made some sacrifices to bring in money too!
/r/Divorce_Men22/06/22 04:21 PM

No, women are opportunists. If they can, they will. They aren't to be trusted ever, always verify what they say.

DO NOT SIGN A MARRIAGE LICENSE!!!! It's the stupidest decision you could ever make in your life.
/r/Divorce_Men22/06/22 12:20 PM

No sympathy for people like her, if anything I would be thinking of ways to make her life worse.
/r/Divorce_Men21/06/22 09:10 PM

Threats are not what love is based on, they are trying to extort you for your assets!

Apparently should would rather be homeless with her children living in a car.
/r/Divorce_Men13/06/22 08:45 PM

Unless she's overly aggressive like Jennifer Aniston is horrible bosses I would say go for it, lol.
/r/Divorce_Men09/06/22 12:42 PM

Don't get married again, it all ends the same way.
/r/Divorce_Men06/06/22 11:59 PM

There is no reason to trust anyone 100%. Trust but verify, blind trust just sets you up for getting used.
/r/Divorce_Men06/06/22 01:18 PM

Mine was amicable as we were able to live in the same house in different rooms until it was over. Afterwards, we sold the house, parted ways and haven't kept in contact since. I guess that's about as good as you can do.
/r/Divorce_Men02/06/22 08:51 PM
2

Are you married to Amber Heard? I would talk to a lawyer and get your ducks in a row for the best possible exit strategy. Be sure to get everything you are entitled for because divorce is war and she will try to take as much as she can from you, including the kids.
/r/Divorce_Men02/06/22 02:47 PM

Get divorced and give her what she wants, you have ruined the marriage and her life for long enough.
/r/Divorce_Men02/06/22 01:39 PM

She already had the affair and has been in recovery mode. Other guy didn’t pick her he chose his wife lol It's in the edit.
/r/Divorce_Men02/06/22 01:31 PM
3

Never reconcile with a cheater! They will do it again and they have no respect for you! You already said that she has mental health issues too, why would you want to keep dealing with that mess? You need to look out for yourself for once in your life. You sound very co-dependent, seek therapy!
/r/Divorce_Men02/06/22 01:11 PM

Glad he won! Finally a man wins a court case against a crazy, lying narcissist. Ms. Vasquez has quite a profitable career ahead of her!
/r/Divorce_Men01/06/22 08:27 PM

Nothing wrong with being cheap! We aren't all rich executives with access to high priced divorce attorneys!
/r/Divorce_Men31/05/22 01:36 PM

If you can afford it live on your own. I did it for the first time in my life after getting divorced and it was amazing! You can heal so much faster when you don't have other people distracting you from creating a new healthy routine and lifestyle.
/r/Divorce_Men31/05/22 11:54 AM

You can't turn a Ho into a house wife! Get out!
/r/Divorce_Men25/05/22 06:51 PM

Sounds like you married a person that you aren't even compatible with. I've never dated anyone from S.E. Asia. I'm currently dating someone from Colombia and they are the most selfless people ever and appreciate everything they have and that you do for them. You should have vetted her more before you pulled the trigger and married.
/r/Divorce_Men23/05/22 02:18 PM
3

Western women have the selfishness disease very bad. They are entitled and thankless. I would never be in a relationship with an American ever again. I'm happy with dating women from other countries, it's completely refreshing. Also they communicate on a whole different level even though they may not be 100% fluent in English. The point is, they actually care about other people and not just themselves! Family is extremely important to them!
/r/Divorce_Men23/05/22 12:23 PM
2

The only question women want to know is what you do for a living and how much do you have in the bank. Nothing else matters...your childhood, your hobbies, your friends...etc. They only need to know how much they can scam you for during the course of the relationship and will put out just long enough to con you.

Don't like it, throw them away and tell him to never send you another gift ever again.
/r/Divorce_Men11/05/22 07:40 PM

If you were OK with them choosing their mom why are you upset they chose their mom? I don't understand....they didn't tell you because they didn't want to hurt you which is what happened...
/r/Divorce_Men11/05/22 05:15 PM

I fought my Ex about that and she eventually changed it to a new made up name. I think she married partially just to get rid of her last name, lol.
/r/Divorce_Men10/05/22 08:01 PM

Don't get married! Marriage should be abolished. There is no need for it in society. Everyone should just have wills and that's how your stuff is passed on after you die. Women won't get lazy if they know there is no spousal support or life insurance guaranteed to them!
/r/Divorce_Men10/05/22 02:56 PM
1

Hmmm, mother's day is her day....she should do what she wants and not what you have planned. Also, if you are breaking up stop trying to control the situation! Leave her alone and do your own thing.

There is only one piece of advice, DON'T GET MARRIED! You are an idiot if you do, that's all I can tell you.
/r/Divorce_Men09/05/22 11:45 AM

Impossible, the government can't police your sex life. Those same Republicans are having coke fueled orgies in Washington DC.
/r/Divorce_Men04/05/22 05:39 PM

Get a divorce and give her what she wants, you ruined any chance of fixing the marriage by cheating.
/r/Divorce_Men03/05/22 09:14 PM
4

No, but you can definitely make her life a living hell. Reach out to the dude's wife she is fucking and grab some popcorn for that show! You can use her poor decisions against her in court and it will look favorable to you.
/r/Divorce_Men28/04/22 12:19 PM

Never play nice! Was she playing nice during the marriage while she was having her fun out of state? Get whatever you can and kick her to the curb!

She is not paying anything towards the down payment. There is no "marital property" because we are not married, won't get married and there is no common marriage laws. She is just moving in with me.

I'm about to buy a house and live in a community property state with no common law marriage laws and I will not be putting her name on the house or have her pay anything towards the mortgage so I don't have to deal with this crap if it goes sour.

That's so awful! The government needs to stay the fuck out of personal relationships!!!! People will stop getting married, living together or having kids if this is the new world they want us to live in!

Why would you save that stuff? Burn it all, it's therapeutic!

She is doing it at work with a coworker or boss. My Ex had an entire relationship 100% at work. Before work, at lunch and "working late".
/r/Divorce_Men26/04/22 01:36 PM

DO NOT MOVE OUT!!!! She will then claim you abandoned the family and will go after full custody of the kids and get the house!!!

Forgiveness is not possible, not after the level of betrayals that occurred. The best I could do was to stop caring and erase every memory of them from my life and move on.

How did it take you that long to figure out? Of course she is selfish! You need to stop worrying about her and her needs and focus only yourself and what you need to survive and be happy.
/r/Divorce_Men25/04/22 04:52 PM
2

Why would you do all of that? You should document everything and report it to child services and court and petition to get sole custody of the children. Don't ever give more than you are required by the state, you will end up being on the hook for that too! Nice guys finish last!
/r/Divorce_Men25/04/22 01:00 PM

You are living life wrong! You need to start living life for yourself and not for other people. Your wife likely realizes this, you have nothing going for yourself and you rely on other people to make you happy as you aren't capable to make yourself happy. You need to take the time to figure out what makes you happy. After all, how can you expect to make other people happy when you don't even know how to make yourself happy? The only person you can trust and depend upon in this life if yourself!

You need to dump the dead weight crazy drunk. Who wants to live with someone that will fly off the handle uncontrollably. It's not a safe environment for anyone to live. She needs help and you're not the the person that can give it to her.

Your STBX is a selfish person. How does a person's job make them attractive? She is living in a fantasy land, her AP has a truck because he doesn't have 3 kids to tow around, what a stupid woman! Seriously, how do these people forget so easily that life changes forever once you have kids. They just long for the past when they can do what they want, screw who they want and have no responsibilities.

Whoa, you need to check yourself. Stop being so emotional over this and think about what's important. You are young, employed and have a house. You are doing better than 80% of the men your age. Get out of the funk, see a therapist, try self meditation, magic mushrooms and talking to friends or relatives when you are feeling blue. First of all, you need to get your balls back from your soon to be Ex. Secondly, she is a very selfish person and you should be glad to get that toxic person out of your life. She isn't a partner, she just wants you to provide while she spends and doesn't do anything. Third, learn from this experience and grow yourself into the person that you want to become. You are still young enough to start over again easily. DO NOT GET MARRIED AGAIN. The next person you marry will probably treat you the sam…

You don't ever blindly trust anyone ever again and that's a great lesson to learn. You start by trusting small things but verifying, once you are comfortable trusting someone with small things then you can give them a little more trust but always verify they are doing what they say they will do. Eventually you can get to a place to mostly trust someone but you will never trust anyone 100% ever again and that isn't a bad thing. Trust takes lots of time to build and only one betrayal to ruin forev…

It depends on the situation but I went nuclear when I found out, told her parents, friends, coworkers (AP was coworker), my family and AP's wife. They get so blindsided when that happens that they all of a sudden have lots of remorse and guilt and become very accommodating during the divorce. Get out of this shitty relationship ASAP! This woman has mental issues and is unstable. She is lying and emotionally cheating on you with her Ex, that’s more than enough reason to get a divorce. The best time to pull the trigger is when she is emotional so she isn’t in her right mind to fight back. She may just give you whatever you want after you confront her about the pictures and messages.

It's mostly "western women" that think this way. Women from other parts of the world where people aren't as lazy still believe in loyalty, gender roles and protecting the family over everything. Just stay away from lazy, spoiled, fake American women.

You need to sell the house and remove yourself financially from her as much as possible. Negotiate a better deal this time around and give less than 40% of income. Sounds like mom doesn't want her lifestyle to change and isn't happy about it...

She would be an idiot to not pay the mortgage since only her name is on it. It will ruin her credit for at least 7 years, she might have to declare bankruptcy as well. She won't be able to even find a place to rent after that.
/r/Divorce_Men24/01/22 08:38 PM

It all depends on what your primary objective is....having the evidence can help you get leverage if she doesn't want her parents, his wife or their coworkers to find out about the affair. Some women don't plan for their whole life to be blown up like that, the thought never even crosses their mind while they are in the affair fog.
/r/Divorce_Men18/01/22 06:54 PM

Now you know she is crazy, unstable and not fit to be in your life and possibly a danger to your kids if she is hanging out with abusive men. It doesn't matter what she wants, you tell the lawyer what you want and it's his job to get as much of that for you as possible. You need to get tough as she is now your enemy in this legal war.
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/21 02:03 PM

Why didn't you hire a lawyer and file for divorce while she was out. Get a custody agreement in place and establish the home for you and the kids as she abandoned the family. You need to tell all of her friends and family what she has done. I hope she gets nothing in the divorce!
/r/Divorce_Men07/12/21 01:31 PM

What are you talking about, getting a lawyer should always be the first step! Many people that come here haven't done that yet, are emotional and are confused on what to do. A lawyer will help answer questions and help form a plan. You don't have to use the lawyer if you don't want to but it helps the people that are confused or making bad decisions already.

You need to emotionally disconnect yourself from her. Get rid of anything that reminds you of her. You need to clean out your closets and scrub her from your life and then move on. See a therapist if that helps you mentally move on. You can try to go on dates just don't get serious with anyone until you are healed and fully moved on. In the meantime just distract yourself with a new hobby or a pet.

You will never get over her if you keep sleeping with her, it's stunting your progress of moving on. Cut her off, heal yourself and then try dating in a few years.

There is not much you can do except wait for your kids to want to talk to you. Eventually they will figure out that mom is the real problem and you were the glue holding the family together. Just be ready for them when they do want to talk again. As far as you Ex, you need to put the pressure on her to act ASAP. Do you have to keep her on your insurance, is there a court order for that?

No one is forced to take it! Private companies, universities, public schools and many other places are legally allowed to have vaccine mandates for entry into the buildings. You can opt out by not going to any of those places! As with most things in the USA, life will be more difficult if you are an antivaxxer. There's a reason why there are measles and small pox outbreaks in those antivaxxer communities!

I don't think so since it's her fault she lost her job. She can still earn that much if she got vaccinated or found a similar job that didn't require it. I'm not a lawyer so you may want to consult yours to find out for sure. In many states you are still on the hook for the payments and if you can't pay they will throw you in jail.

No, but she attempted it twice during my marriage. I had no idea what was upsetting her only to find out it was from the guilt she had from having a long term affair with a coworker. Some days I think it would have been easier if she did it but I'm glad I don't have to live with that thought now that we are divorced.

In a situation like this she is getting her needs met by other and its likely worse than you thought. Just know this, the more details you find out the more it mentally stunts your progress and it will give you PTSD with mind movies and anger. It's best to just move on the best you can without getting the gory details. You have to just distract yourself or use mediation to get over these thoughts when you have them. In the end it's just not worth knowing the truth.

Just say that you want a relationship based on love and not on money, kids, property etc. Marriage complicates a relationship and people marry or stay in the relationship for many other reasons that have nothing to do with love. You want to keep the finances separate so when the love fades it's easy to separate and go your own way. Most relationships don't last longer than 7 years...

/r/Divorce_Men21/07/21 04:22 PM

/r/Divorce_Men20/07/21 08:08 PM

Telling your kids the truth is the only thing to do. It is in the best interest of the kids to know that their mom is a liar and a cheater and can't be trusted. If she can abuse their father she is certainly capable of abusing the children as well. It's not about feelings, it about the truth coming to light and everyone adapting to the new reality of life.

You have to realize that she is not the person you fell in love with or married. She is a completely different person now but you are still in love with the idea of the person you married. You have to change your perspective to see the current reality of the situation. You need to rediscover yourself and remove her from your thoughts and routines.
/r/Divorce_Men20/07/21 06:58 PM

What are you talking about? She hurt the kids! If she didn't want to hurt the kids then she shouldn't have been cheating....why would you defend the actions of a cheating spouse? If the wife was unhappy then she could have divorced without going down that road. She decided to blow the marriage up, not OP.

/r/Divorce_Men20/07/21 05:45 PM

If I had kids I would definitely be telling them exactly what happened. You can't let affairs like this be kept secret, they must be blown apart for everyone to see. That's the only way they truly end, not to mention it puts her on the defensive now that her secrets are exposed and she has to do damage control for her family, friends and coworkers while you can plan your exit strategy.

Why wouldn't you tell your son, he has the right to know who his real father is...also your wife's secret shouldn't be kept. The whole family should know once your son knows and has some therapy to come to terms with it and have his questions answered. /r/Divorce_Men03/06/21 12:05 PM

I only did mediation and my Ex was mostly agreeable only because she got caught having an affair and didn't want it be divulged in court. If she has mental health issues and won't seek help maybe you could record some of her meltdowns. Just push a few buttons and record the incidents. That will give you leverage if she decides to fight you during the divorce proceedings.

Just rent a place temporarily until the divorce is final and then find a house to move to. I know it's a pain in the ass but you don't want your soon to be Ex to claim your house or force you to sell and split the proceeds. That would be a huge waste of time and money.

Don't get married if you aren't comfortable with it. You don't want to trap yourself in a situation that you don't want to be in. If that's a deal breaker for her then so be it. Maybe someday you would do it again but for right now you're just not ready. I told my girl friend I'll never get married ever again even though we are having a child together. Your stbxw is in affair fog, she is in the lust phase with her new lover and isn't thinking rationally or logically. She is in fantasy land and thinks life is perfect. She doesn't even see you as a her husband. She sees you as someone preventing her from being happy, from not allowing her to be with her lover. That's the attitude shift and coldness you are feeling. The affair isn't about you, it's about her happiness and right now you are in the way of her happiness.

Yes, the only thing that matters is focusing on yourself. You can only worry about what you can control and you have no control over your wife or marriage ending. I'll never completely trust a woman for as long as I live. After what happened to me and reading about the human psychology of women and relationships I know they have ulterior motives for why they choose partners and it has nothing to do with love. Not only are they your mortal enemy but they know all of your secrets, fears and weaknesses. You have to become a new person in order to fight this enemy because they don't play fair and always go for the low blow.

Have an exit plan before you file. Have a plan for assets you want to protect, talk to your financial advisor/estate planner and attorney before you do anything. Once you file be sure you have taken half the money out of the joint accounts and put them into your own personal account. Deactivate any joint credit cards. Make any purchases that you need before you file so they are counted as marital expenses (pay off your own credit card, student loans, car loan...ect). Planning for your new financ…

That's a great question...after 3 years and lots of therapy I still can't get rid of the anger towards my Exw even though I've moved on in every other way. I just use the anger I have as motivation to keep achieving and living the best life I can. I've come to terms that I may hate her forever, I definitely couldn't find forgiveness.

Over 80% of divorces are filed by women because they either want a payday, have a side man or because they have discovered they are actually bi-sexual. When the marriage becomes inconvenient for them or there is a better offer on the table that's when they blow your world up. Men need to stop getting married! Women are only after your money and status. That's their entire mission in life besides to have children.

Why would you stay with this woman? She has no love or respect for you or your marriage and cheats at any chance she gets. That's really sad and I don't know how you allow her to treat you that way. Not even for a kid would I put up with that behavior from someone that is supposed to be a wife and mother. She is a toxic, broken person that doesn't deserve everything you have given her.

You need a divorce. You must document all of her erratic behavior and save the text messages. She is unstable and you should be able to fight for full custody. Talk to your lawyer immediately as she will become unhinged again. There is no saving this relationship.

College isn't a requirement and the kid is past 18. My parents certainly didn't pay for my college when they got divorced my freshman year of college!

Even if you want a family that's not a good enough reason to get married. Getting married or staying in a bad relationship because of children is a horrible idea and leads to bad outcomes. If you truly want to marry someone you have to be compatible in all aspects of your life. You have to be compatible in how you show love to each other, financially, intellectually, some hobbies, sexually, personality wise and goals for the future. If you don't have all of those boxes checked the marriage won't…

Cohabitation in Florida actually works the way it's supposed to. Not financially responsible for the partner no matter how long you live together and they have no claim on your assets either. Not even the price appreciation on your home if you are the sole owner. It's the way to go!

I really don't understand how women can be so evil to lie, deceive and betray for so many years like it's no big deal. My Exw was involved with a coworker for 4 years before I ever found out. The dude she was with was sleeping with several other women in the office and everyone knew about all of it at their place of employment. I'm just lucky I didn't catch anything and that when I found out she lost her shit and had a breakdown. I was able to amicably divorce through mediation and get everythin…

File for divorce and do not leave the house. Go and tell her family what she has been up to and why you are filing. Maybe that will wake her up. Also, if the guy has a wife you should let her know too. Affairs only live in secrecy, blowing it up and exposing it to everyone will kill it really quickly.

She can divorce you for any reason or no reason, divorce is no fault in most places now. I would schedule as many of your surgeries as fast as you can while you are still on her insurance! Whatever you do, don't move out of the house!!!

You must tell, that was the only way I found out my Exw was cheating with a coworker! Saved me from a shitty marriage!

Document every time she refuses to watch the kids, if she still refuses then you will have to find a day care provider but let her know that it's going to affect her settlement in the divorce and may affect the custody agreement.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
