A few months back my wife dropped the nuke: She wants a divorce. Or, she think she wants that. Not sure. Yes, she wants a divorce. If that make you confused, imagine how I felt. In the following weeks we talked, I tried to be the man she wanted, I walked on a glass floor to be the best I could be, she initiated sex, broke down and cried after and then asked if I could spend the weekend on our cabin with our kid. In the days before that weekend she acted like time could not pass fast enough for me to get out and go to the cabin. When we got back (my kid and I) she had drank 3 bottles of wine alone. After that weekend she has been stone cold. Throwing tantrums, accusing me for every minor issue, blaming the kids behaviour on me and what not. If I only mentioned some issue to her, well, it did not go well. That period lasted 4 weeks.

We have been together 9 years, pretty much on the spot 9 years yesterday. Married for almost 4 years. I work full time, she is a disabled stay at home mom. And yesterday she, after she freaked out over that I burned the soup _she_ was cooking, said that I should be out by the 1st of March. We have talked about spending time at different places, and now she had decided a date. Well, I got pissed due to the abrubt announcement of date, and I just said: We start now. I calmy wrapped up of some clothes and utilities, got my dog and left after saying goodbye to my kid. Told him that dad needs to go away for a while. Luckily he is 5, and accepted that pretty much on the spot. Broke down in the bathroom after that.

So, called my parents and now sleeps in one of their spare bedrooms. Have no idea how to proceed. I have built her a farm, literally, so she could spent her time with her true passion - horses. After one project/demand was done, another came. "We need to" always ment "You need to". I have exhausted myself physically and economically for her, but she demands more emotionally. And I can agree on that, to an extent. I'm not a "feelings" person. But when your body is stretched to the limit, your head is working on how to manage financially - I can only give so much... I love her. Really love her. She is the love of my life and I still remember the first seconds I saw her like yesterday. But the person she is now is someone on a vengeance. I guess she has everything set up and the trap is closing.

This is probably a mess and I'm not a native english speaker, but need to vent somehow...
