Once upon a time, in the old millennium, I worked at a tourist information center on an interstate highway exit in a mid sized town. Once upon a time, I worked at a (2nd) mortgage lender. So, as I said, I am 50. I avoid a lot of provocations by flat out pretending I didn't hear. There is often no need to respond IN ANY WAY to passive aggressive bs. Storing food for a week in a working refrigerator is just fine. Look at the expiration date of milk. Any thing you cook to boiling, then put in the fridge will last at least as long as any jug of milk you may have. (probably longer) Spoilage requires live bacteria (cooking kills them) and a warm environment (refrigeration inhibits growth).
