Trying to appease feminists, like trying to appease your upset girlfriend, is a fool's errand. In both situations, there is no correct course of action once you've entered their frame. Consider the following:

1-If you impose obligations or social expectations on women, it is oppression.

2-If you relieve women of their obligations, it is patronizing and benevolent sexism.

1-If you try to address an issue with your girlfriend while she is still upset, you will only further upset her.

2-If you fail to address the issue, you will only further upset her.

Women will occasionally find something to throw a fit about no matter what. Doesn't matter what you do, you will inevitably have to wait out/disregard seemingly needless drama, whether it's coming from one woman or from the collective lovers' quarreling of a political movement.

Don't try to resolve conflict and drama; accept them as an inherent part of coexisting with women. It is a package deal. This is as true on a societal level as it is within the context of a relationship.
