Coincidentally I saw a picture of her on instagram last night after reading this. There were plenty of "you go grrls" but I was pleased to see the comments had a very equal representation of men and women calling her out for her own "lack of commitment" (she had like 15 dudes tagged in the photo).

Thanks for posting -- fairly poignant for me this weekend. Went out on Saturday for Halloween shenanigans. Ended the night at a small gathering. Was tired but hung out longer than I wanted and a small group that included a girl I ghosted in August showed up. Her heart sunk when she saw me and she hid behind her friend (there were only 8 of us). I felt bad for her obvious pain. Long story short, I didn't react and left not a hell of a lot longer later -- she texts me "I can't believe you pretende…

I thought I was low-T because I've been low mood and had some performance anxiety related issues in the bedroom through the summer. Went through WellnessFX and got the Performance Package. It was a pretty thorough panel. My brother took the same test before me and had seriously low T (same as a 60 year old male) and elevated DHEA (possibly implying an endocrine issue not converting precursors correctly). I was healthy everything except a few biomarkers being slightly high or low (the worst being…

Fear or Shame are usually at the root of that hatred. Speaking for myself at least. And none of us tend to naturally admit to those two feelings. Once I started allowing myself to admit that (that I was ashamed of myself), I started looking at the Chads like potentially the best allies you could have. The old reflexive limbic brain 'ping' to do a "threat assessment" when I see men that give off those visual cues (height/strength/appearance, overt confidence, etc) still happens sometimes, but wit…

pretty mild anecdotes from the speech, but it was enough for me to respect his character. I should have realized by putting "how he got his wife" in the title it wasn't going to fly

Ahh, I can't help but feel some sympathy for people with controlling parents; Usually because those parents are psychos. That's cool that she snuck out to see you though. Have fun.

She let me rub my dick on her pussy, so honestly im debating just sticking it in aswell. hahaha. Just jam it in there dude, stop fucking around with all this horseshit you're playing in your head. You sprinkled too many fucking details for us to know that you're overthinking this. Fuck her words and this shit with the other guy. Are you trying to marry this girl? No. You're trying to get a nut so you can officially drop that V-card. Put it in her. Get your two to 3 pumps. Prematurely ejaculate a…

to the OP, as an attempt to reiterate something I don't think people are explaining to you with their disagreements: Casey does have qualities that influence sexual attraction (as you correctly describe) but that doesn't necessarily equate to being "Red Pill" (which is more about conscious awareness of the underpinnings of a biomechanical reality than it is about specific qualities of lifestyle or character). You're mixing correlation with causation and that is why everyone here is disagreeing w…

Wouldn't disagree with you on any of that. I started out doing some of that freelancer work myself when I was first learning and the bottom of the pyramid on any platform is a vast race-to-the-bottom.. Of course the minority is exceptionally committed and command monetary compensation to match. My team helps brick-and-mortar businesses by supporting a high quality online presence (systems for sales & inventory synchronization, social media management and ad campaigns, etc). "You know, the photos were false but thats not why Im leaving. For all you know, I like big women. Know what I dont like? Dishonest women" Wow, what a perfect response to such a common online dating issue -- I've had that happen 3 times -- they use high school era photos and show up chunked out. Just spent the half hour chatting and then making my break -- never occurred to just call them out for being dishonest.

noticing old stuff sneak back in i.e, for me its IOIs becoming a handicap: Blindspots can evolve over time and sneak back in after you think you've gotten rid of them -- I've recently noticed that I've let IOIs become a handicap: an excuse not to approach until I see one. After years in the game, I can "passively" generate attraction much more easily with my body language, positive energy and health, so I've unconsciously gotten used to looking for those female glances and gazes for the invitati…

Try starting an upwork or peopleperhour account. Get your LinkedIn on point. Here's the very basic formula: work for cheap (or free), do a good job and get reputation (reputation on these sites is literally a score, in real life, reputation matters just as much but is more abstractly measured). Prove that you can do a good job then jack your rates to what you deserve. When I was freelancing, I wrote 10 content articles for dirt cheap ($10 each), for articles that were well researched and 1500-20…

bummer of a conclusion to that story. And poignant because I have a friend I want to help get off the crazy train to destruction. This guy locked in downward spiral with his LTR that I just distanced from but have had a nagging desire to intervene before he really buries himself fully in shit (he's neck deep as it is). I could write a very long post about his decline over the last 2 years but I'll keep it brief: High SMV "natural". NEVER was in an LTR, just strung together ONS and very short ter…

Cliches exist because they're usually true. Its an invaluable point of maturity when a man becomes self-aware enough that he is willing to experience mistakes and embrace the pains of awareness, aka: taking responsibility. All of us will keep walking face first into a wall here and there through life, its a supreme power to feel the embarrassment, regret, anger, shame or whatever other experience results as the "cruel master" that will transform your bad habits and inclinations into disciplined …

she pretty much starts fishing and seeing if someone will bite. Spot on -- hormones + temporary loneliness.. Can't say how many times this has happened with plates I've let fade. The "shocking" part (not really) when they come out of the blue like that is how fast they will go from "hot" to "cold" as they find the cock/validation they seek. One day they actually seem to be chasing you, 24 hours later you're getting one-word replies or non-responses. The Gods of Biodynamics care not. Thankfully i…

I can understand where the heart of your question is coming from. When you lack confidence, self-esteem, and experience, you don't feel right when you fake it. You're trying to present yourself as you would like to really feel and you know that you're not congruent. You have to accept 3 things: 1) your mind and body are one neurological system (brain in unison with layers of nervous systems); you could say mind-body, or body-mind (as indeed certain fields of science are now doing with realms lik…

Its an interesting question. I'm in a similar position. Financially independent, succeeding at my main source of income (self-employed) and creating another now. I'm somewhere in top 20%, if I was in better shape that would go up into top 10%. My brother and I are on a similar level and going through a self-isolation phase. We hang out with each other but have slowly cut out the older circle. Haven't met anyone that is working on the same thing (fitness, entrepreneurship, enjoyment of the non-mo…

Yep. The correlate in sales is, "when the customer complains about the price, it's never the price"... Amateur salespeople will respond to this 'lazy bluff' by dropping the price to the lowest possible value and still not make the sale. The expert realizes 'price' is a complaint, not a true objection and they have the responsibility to uncover the true objection between the buyer and them agreeing to exchange their money for the service/product. In short, it definitely had nothing to do with the…

Is this not a prime example of a modern infantacide or am Being crazy here? No I'd say that's a fair connection. That's a classic theme amongst "step parent" stories, so much so that they've turned them into fairy tales in our culture. On a personal note, one of the reasons I mentioned the "uncles raising their nephews" thing was because my parents were mediocre and my dad was there but an absent alcoholic. My moms brothers were cool and I would have been a far more balanced, masculine man if th…

Do something that requires masculine fortitude alone: a long distance hike for example (the appalachian trail). You will change. You need time to rewire everything because you're in a self-admitted scarcity mindset: you take things as a threat and get anxious automatically at your lack of wit. This is a viscious feedback loop. At first just practice mock laughing or smiling more, no witty crackbacks, no jokes...just show you can take it without getting butthurt. As you start un-wiring the trigge…

Tough love man, this is a nuclear red flag and is unacceptable to any man of self-worth. This is completely normal. She caught feelings for you. Very common after keeping a plate for a few months. You did nothing wrong. Learn to not let it creep you out, instead be a little empathetic. Pat her head and remind her that she agreed to non-exclusivity. She'll get over it in a few weeks. From everything you've shared you have handled this fairly well but I'm going to take a stab in the dark based off a hunch: that you don't really want to work hard enough for another plate so you're wondering if you should deal with this petty drama...I think your instincts want to just NE…

I'm in the same place but have no desire to rebuild the old. They're not "dead", they're still there if ever I should care for a night of just chilling with the old crew. If no or unsure you probably first need to demonstrate value by showing what a social monster you are. My first instinct was in the same vein: Presuming you have a robust and active social life (if not, you do now, get to work) its easy enough to just toss her invites nonchalantly without worrying about if she can go or not -- Her loss if she can't make it to a great time with you and your friends -- get into the practice of creating cool stuff for your group to do and tossing out those invites …

Long-time biological and cultural anthropology nerd, as well as big time interest in primatology: I'm going to focus on keeping this really abbreviated because I could go on a lot of long tangents but, as to your core question: If not what is the most natural social unit to have? Short answer, yes: there are a lot of other arrangements historically and currently in various indigenous and traditional cultures. My nephew's an ace mechanic and just turned 21. I have been wanting him to go into business for himself and let me run his social media and marketing to help him blow up in the local area. I understand stoic but to me stoic can also be interpreted as butthurt. How many women have you actually walked out on where you decided "hmm, I think I looked really butthurt there"? If zero, then why are you worrying about it? If greater than zero, you choose your frame and you go. Obsessing over how you are being perceived reeks of codependent behavior
/r/TheRedPill02/03/17 07:55 PM

I'm just amazed at how rare it is "to see that behavior in the wild" (ok, so its really just randos on the internet). I have a friend who was in the same situation and agreed to the "open relationship"...of which he stayed sexless beta provider and she whored around to her whimsy.

Is there anyone here that has successfully adapted to going out solo when they were never comfortable with it in the first place? For the sake of context and at the risk of being dismissed for the brag: I'm in the top 20% of men...it may be the lowest percentile of that top 20%, esp. compared to my potential for growth and the men that I look up to and admire -- but my awareness of my comparative value takes all aspects of my life into consideration (looks, finances, game, experience, knowledge,…

Just listened to Chase Jarvis interviewing Ramit Sethi over this exact subject and Ramit's answer was the same: don't rely on motivation, create systems that just get the result you want. Whether its fitness, business, social life, etc; create the blueprint patterns that you need to just repeat and get used to repeating them. There is no glamor in this.

In english the expression is, "You can lead a horse to water but you can't force them to drink". You should not force your knowledge on your friends. Just like you would not force medicine on them. They will not accept it. contrasting "comfort tests" with "shit tests" is a notable distinction: the direct line of thinking that provokes is an awareness of your women's menstruation cycle, as discussed by many of the best TRP writers and highlighted in scientific research: That they are more prone to seeking the Chad in the 2 weeks approaching their period, and more sensitive to "caregiver/beta" characteristics in the 2 weeks following their period.

There is one simple thing that people who ask this question never seem aware of or acknowledge: Your attitude and beliefs change your appearance On mere body language level, I can look at you and see your slouchy, soft-bodied, shifty eyed, timid slithery body and know within a nano-second that you are a fucking loser mentally speaking. I've engaged this question under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms and during years of personal meditation practice. The shamans and zen masters of old had a saying, to "die before you die". I will go into some detail about my experience with how this takes place. There are 2 halves to that equation : Cognitive and Physiological (emotional). Cognitive: Realize the body has created a persistent 'ego-sense' for survival ("I put the food in my mouth when I feel hunger"); it is a very perceptibl…

Bro I feel you. Good that you are approaching the problem from a biological perspective but there's gotta be something deeper too. I've been working on my partial-ED from all fronts but I'm prepared for the slow-haul (its inconsistent but persistent enough to be affecting my sex life and confidence when I go out). For me it seems to be some deep-rooted shame that hasn't let go yet so I'm trying to take the approach of "owning it": in private and with women I'm just practicing being able to admit…

How about you don't remove your ego and you let it go along for the ride like an annoying little brother: What if you observe it and start calling it out before someone else can? Outcome independence is something you can cultivate by owning your perceived weaknesses: I remember the hilarious insight (learned from the Authentic Man Program) that I could actually declare my insecurities as an approach (because women know how you're feeling whether you say it or not) -- ex, "Hey I'm [name], I'm jus…

Yes. I have to give heavy credit to mushrooms. Never had to use them that many times. They will dig up your junk and expose your blindspots. MAPS (an organization pioneering scientific research into consciousness-changing compounds) has shown that psilocybin actually grows new connections in the brain. Very important to find the right setting where you can feel safe and secure (and a good "sitter" perhaps). I always found a sunny day in nature where I could avoid people altogether worked best fo…

First, with negative thought-emotion loops, do not underestimate the truth of this expression, "What you Resist, Persists". I'm going to come back to this in a moment with a way to apply it in a meditation exercise. I assume you are relatively new (less than 6 months?) to TRP. One thing's for certain, you should definitely not feel insecure about the noise on her behalf. You can be responsive to her but don't try to preemptively take care of her needs (definition of beta behavior). Insecurity in general is going to kill attraction but especially during sex. You're better off working on doing what you need to get comfortable (loud fan or music, locked door) and then just go with it. If a roommate reacts it will probably just be in humor or praise. Really entertaining read on his life's events with a fair bit of solid writing heuristics that I'm still trying to incorporate. Some of the commenters have mentioned how he didn't remember writing 'misery', that's also true of several others like "Cujo". It took an intervention years later for him to get to sobriety.

However he could have definitely gotten the satisfaction of banging her and then never speaking to her again. But I don't know if that's the kind of man we're dealing with here, a self professed bluepill. I have been at it for a while and "approach anxiety" doesn't "disappear" for many people. It just loses its power over you. You still may get that little flicker of lizard-brain hesitation when you see that hottie staring at you. I'm at a place where I can get consistent high-quality IOIs from girls that interest me but I don't always approach. The method that works best for me is to "own my awkwardness" which is the root of the fear: My fear says, "you're going to stutter or sound stupid" when …

the top comment here by u/needless_pickup_line is the best overview. You have to train yourself to stop responding just because she texts you right away. Even if you just texted her and she texts IMMEDIATELY, you could be driving, working, on a date, in a meeting, WHATEVER it is, its more important than immediately picking up your phone at every text. Smartphones, their apps and the little chimes are made to CREATE ADDICTION. You need to break that addictive response that most females won't both…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4xCQq_SSyQ From the POV of archetypes and myth (Let's say, Jungian Psych.), the idea is that the "Hero's Journey" is imbued in our psyches from a very ancient time as reflected in the universal themes of human myth and story. That video is a full episode to satiate your mind but if you want quicker hits, search "Joseph Campbell" on YouTube. I've still yet to buy his book that the series is based on, you might want to look into that too.

What is the root of this problem? My best guess is that you're thinking about it before you touch her. Your brain is divided against itself and part of you knows that it might come across as forced or mechanical. Try this for a "gateway" : start right away with very light "teasing nudges" -- a tap of the foot under the table, slightly leaning into her or a hip bump when you're standing in line, tapping her upper arm with the back of your hand as you get her attention, "hey I just thought of some…

Same. At its best weed helped me feel what it was like to be deeply relaxed at a time when I was starting to learn meditation and mindfulness and coming out of a chronically stressed upbringing. Later its benefit was to "churn up" those buried emotional blocks and let them go (catharsis). But having stopped chronic use for a couple weeks (went vape-only a long time ago but it still fucks with sinuses and respiratory stuff if there are colds and shit going around), I noticed my verbal confidence …

Have you ever called a woman who didn't like it after you called her a previous time and she liked it? There's a lot of context that has to be considered. You don't stay friends with her. You're not going to listen either (coming from someone who has gone through the same experience). I was not that interested in my oneitis. Knew her a couple years from the dorms but she got more attractive and she came on to me while my value was skyrocketing (just hiked the appalachian trail, was extremely healthy and ready for a life of adventure, and it was radiating out to women unlike my past cringeworthy self), not the reverse. I made it clear early on that…

FWIW, this reminds me of my ex oneitis -- I lost my virginity to her (but had a dozen or more sexual encounters before her -- I was just extremely high anxiety/toxic shame due to non-ideal upbringing -- could never get it up in these situations which made the shame-cycle worse). I was pretty good at turning women on though, even though thoroughly blue-pill so they'd be eager and i couldn't give them the D..more shame built up. With the oneitis, she was cool with taking her time and helped me get…

I'm less and less amazed at the women that have never encountered a man that knew what the fuck he was doing. It's apparently not hard to stand out above 90% of these tentative chodes. I don't have some wilt chamberlain n-count either, but I can think of a few instances where they said, "No one has been able to do that before". The most recent was, "I think I just came" -- the girl didn't even know what the fuck an orgasm felt like?! That is the most amazing to me: when they don't even know how …

This isn't really a direct response to the post but just a tangent it made me think of: I have a friend who has always been "a natural". Tall, attractive, seen women approach him on numerous occasions. He has a couple friends that he grew up with that are not physically the same as him but definitely more "alpha" in their confident asshole demeanor. The point I want to make is they all have numerous occasions where they get with a girl and arrange 3-somes with their bros. They definitely don't m…

From being interested in primate behavior you notice a spectrum of male sexual strategy from "Alpha" to "Beta". In chimps, females use promiscuity to confuse paternality and avoid infanticide (what happens in many species when an outsider male comes in and finds offspring? He kills them). Some male primates will use gift-giving, grooming behavior and kindness towards offspring to get sex (its beneficial to the female too). But not every male has this strategy and it varies widely between species…

There's an interview somewhere with Amy Schumer asking this sexy hooters-girl grade model (I say that meaning she was short, curvy, cute, but maybe lacked the height and features of a euro model for contrast): Amy asks the girl where she places herself on the 10-scale and the girl doesn't skip a beat when she says, "Probably a 7"...then Amy laughs embarrassingly and says, "That's not good, I thought I was a 7"... Funny enough I just suggested this above before getting to this comment. Its worthwhile to consider but absolutely essential you do your research. The drug community has a saying: Know Yourself. Know your Source. Know your Substance. I agree and would elaborate: No matter the "rationalizing" that men are making, it all stems from "paralysis by analysis".. Yuck.
/r/TheRedPill08/02/17 01:50 AM

Your criticism is right: I shouldn't be mixing messages with that response -- on one hand I was suggesting its good to give conflict with radical viewpoints, on the other hand I was relating an anecdote about talking to these particular kind of women (and reflecting that once I gave these women drama, they lit up).. You're right about me being overly optimistic: I do that intentionally -- I use optimism as a psychological lever for me to not fall into utter misanthropy (which I struggle with time to time). My view is all the solutions exist, if we could just get them into the skulls of the people. Massive media brainwashing doesn't help. I don't think I'm going to create a magical highschooler/student movement. I was making the suggestion that it would take that level of participation to effect things. The organic and spontaneous growth of this community is an example of that possibility. We're here sharing ideas. I agree with you: we have to tackle the source of the problem.
/r/TheRedPill07/02/17 10:03 AM

Productive people don't wait for magical solutions. Binary and absolutist thinking isn't effective. Do you have asperger's (seriously)? I'm talking about an attitude and approach to life and persons who disagree with you. To be engaged and willing to talk to people who don't agree. Pretty relevant given most of us keep our heads down and don't want to upset anyone (nice guys) even when we don't believe in the BS. Good point. Communities are very rare in the US. Im intrigued by the possibilities of intentional agrarian communities (ecovillages, for example). There seems to be a lot of challenges to that lifestyle but its an emergent option. A red pill intentional community ? Could it be formed? The amish are still kicking and there are very, very small familial communities like them in my state (i cant figure out which they are...do Mennonites still exist?)

Very cool. What work brought you there? Kind of sad to hear the industrialization thing threatening the culture. I'd like to think they will be resilient as you describe but i think all humans succumb to the forces that have softened all sedentary, domesticated cultures.

Its a biological predisposition to abhor violence against the ovaries in your tribe. Culture may have hijacked that into the phenomenon known as "white knighting" but your suggestions are off.

I'll delete my comment assuming you're just trolling.

I'm much more inclined to think that if a boy "sucked at what was expected of him" then the culture would be more inclined to ensure he was successful because it means survival to the people. In contrast to our individualistic culture where if you fail, go fuck yourself. Granted maybe if you are physically crippled from birth or early age, that's another story -- I have never seen anything about that so it could easily exist.

"love above all" this would make a good title/caption over a montage of all the violent bullshit we've seen over the last year. I've been editing a lot lately and this would be fun but I'm hesitant to put hardcore political shit on my young channel. I should make a strictly trolling channel.

A few weeks ago a business client of mine in the next state over texted me about being approached by 2 girls on the street and asking him to fuck one of them. They handed him a condom and went to a hotel. One girl just watched. He knew it was "too good to be true". The next day the police contacted him for questioning for rape assault. He gave his story truthfully and as calmly as possible. The police believed him and he wasn't charged. The girl admitted to the police it wasn't rape but she was …

I agree with this guy ^ -- going into this journey "quitting clubs for Christ and focusing on a good Christian LTR" is a recipe for disaster. If you don't open up to having experience (whatever myriad ways that takes shape) with many women, you're going to find that "special girl" and maybe ape a few RP behaviors until the day you get comfortable and revert to your 'natural' self. As for introversion coupled with other handicaps like shyness, social anxiety, trouble communicating: You're going t…

lol - I used to have a similar idea about butterface girls and it came from the same place of insecurity as I suspect you're coming from: I imagined getting this hot body/ugly face girl because "she would have deep insecurity issues and other guys wouldn't try to steal her from me". It appeals to the inner slug that just wants to slide up onto some rotting fruit and gorge. Don't be a slug.

He wasn't being butthurt, he wasn't acknowledging the theatrics (women's circular argument). Arguing with a woman is an effective way to shorten your lifespan via chronic stress and disease.

"not trusting" read: You are insecure and she knows it from your behavior. I also feel like you're omitting a lot of information that we're trying to get out of you because you realize its going to make the case even clearer. Am I wrong? I had a LTR for 6 years, the last 3 were off and on as I swayed back and forth from weak and insecure, to focused and self-oriented. I was making a classic mistake when people come to "red pill awareness" so to speak, that I was trying to use game to prove I was…

I think you have to consider what the other guys here are saying as the likely reality: Logically her decision makes sense free rent and creates plausible deniability on her end. You aren't going to like this next part.......... They will be fucking like dogs, he'll ground n' pound that poon and lay pipe on her. Let's take a step back, if he thought he wouldn't get "any" would he invite her to stay for a week? I know they have history together and she could say all these terrible things about hi…

The simplest answer I can think of requires you answer this, "Are you 'okay' with her staying with her ex?" (no need to explain WHY just 'yes' or 'no') You have to be able to claim boundaries clearly without needing to explain because women will talk circles (and shooting star tangents, and completely irrelevant nonsense) around ANYTHING you give them for rationale. "I'm not okay with you staying with your ex. If that's something you feel like you need to do, I'm out" she protests or pitches fit…

What?!? I have to be incredulous here dude: The mother is staying with the baby daddy "for the child" and you're not just walking away from that? Without meaning to be insulting, you have got to have some f***ing self-respect. Will you go into a bit more detail on what it means when you say "anytime I've brought it up, it sure feels like I'm a dickhead..." What words have you used when you "brought it up" and how did she react? I'd want to hear that before offering any advice on what words/actio…

In the selected passages from the OP, Machiavelli was saying both are ideal but to err towards being feared. He also connects the act of punishment as preventative medicine for further chaos and violence. You could be loved for this, you might not be. Doesn't matter though, overall he's just symbolically putting "love" and "hate" on a balance scale and suggesting that the balance should tip towards "hate". On a tangent, reminds me of one of the often repeated maxims of Jim Rohn, "Love like a mot…

"A Prince should therefore disregard the reproach of being thought cruel where it enables him to keep his subjects united and obedient. For he who quells disorder by a very few signal examples will in the end be more merciful than he who from too great leniency permits things to take their course." This resonates at many levels for me. I've been consciously recovering from NiceGuy tendencies for many years now but I still have the tendency to avoid conflict and want to give people the benefit of…
