Grace? It looks like she’s gotten serious about getting sober now and she seems to be doing better. I’m truly elated, for her, for our kids, for her kids, everyone. The resentment I have for all the shit over the last few years is too much. This ship has sailed. I’ll give grace and support, but this marriage is done. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/07/26 12:34 PM
Grace?I really don’t mind if on a Friday night she wants to take a toke after the kids are in bed. She started making oil and taking it all day, every day. Then told me she would never stop and tried to turn it into a control thing, as though it was just me trying to control her. My nine year old didn’t make it to a follow up dentist appointment where he could have had a cavity filled and instead 11 months after it was put on watch, we weee having teeth pulled. I shouldn’t have to second guess whether… | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/07/26 12:28 PM
My son said his Mom said this the other day…and it bothers me but really shouldn’t by nowI was thinking you sound like you’re almost there but the whole uncle Paul thing was just a little too much…. My dad tells me that one day he was driving down the road when the realization hit him that he didn’t give a shit anymore. One day we will all get there. It’s glorious when it sets in. You’ll get there. Focus on you, your kids, focus on what you can control. It was a low blow but one day you will realize you don’t give a shit. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/07/26 05:22 AM

Should I contact the affair partner of my wife? He’s keeping her busy. Blow that up and it puts more back on your plate. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/03/26 02:49 PM
Strategy regretI have the same problem and I’m not sure what to do about it either. There’s a decent chance that the surprise may piss her off and set the time for a nasty fight. But.., is it really a surprise? You said she knows it’s coming, as does mine. What are your other options? Trying to talk to her about your strategy? That won’t work either.. I’d say to give her more time to prepare a response. I can’t help but wonder how much the attorneys prefer to strike hard to stir up an expensive fight? | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/12/25 04:38 AM
Hit the limit, now whatIn Texas. Counseling opened my eyes more and led me further down the path to separate. Counseling was my idea but I let her choose the counselor this time. I still see the first therapist that she quit seeing. Married 13 yrs. Serious issues started several years ago. Stopped counseling when my mother passed in May as I couldn’t handle that many irons in the fire. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/11/25 01:20 PM
Divorce over dishesBlame the dishes? It ain’t the dishes, this is straight up much deeper than dishes. She has insecurities because she knows you carry the load and she’s susceptible. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/11/25 04:12 AM

I need a pick me up, menDoes he have an Xbox at her house? Even if he did actually tell her that, who knows what his reason could be. Maybe a new girl moved in next door at mom’s house.. could be a new chapter of Fortnite being released. Whatever you do, don’t read into the possibility that he may feel like being at the other house because he loves you less. Use that as an excuse to find something that much more exhilarating to do with you that he could never do with mom… | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/01/25 02:38 AM
