You can talk about anything as long as you do it confidently and don't take yourself too seriously. I dare you to go approach a group of girls with the stupidest topic of conversation.

This should be a required "reading" for PUA.

Ah buddy, you need to drop the condescending attitude towards people who study other things. It seeps into other aspects of your personality subconsciously.

I'm a chubby, short Indian guy who works in IT, I just say I'm a stripper or a go-go dancer. If its a more sober setting, I try to steer conversations away from work and neg them by saying some hippie shit like "work doesn't define who you are"

What a stupid question (no offense, I'm very happy for you). Go for it. She is obviously into you.

This is worth gold. I would like to add another point. This is relevant for any situation. Whenever you see someone being successful (whether it is in pickup or something else), you only see them in their current status. You only see their success. You don't see how many times they fucked up before getting there. I will stand by these words: Everyone who is truly successful has failed miserably at some point and has learned to overcome that. The persistence learned from overcoming that failure i…

I'm actually an Indian in IT. This is solid (though unPC) advice. Be the opposite of your stereotype. Seriously.

I second that. I get almost 0 matches on Tinder/OkC. Some of my less fit/attractive white friends get a lot and get better responses. I ain't made tho. You have to work on your personality. You have to have rock solid confidence and just exude positive energy. I'm a short, chubby Indian guy and always get #/K-closes at bars. The same guys go to bars and just shut down. I'm not doing a humble brag, it took a lot of rejection to get to that personality.

Always assume attraction. You are not trying to find out if she is attracted to you. You are trying to find out if you are attracted to her. Have that attitude.

Watch a lot of stand up. Do some stand up. PRACTICE. Observe how people react. Study comedy. Don't just watch it. Try to analyze why the TV shows/jokes are funny and try to think up funny situations/ jokes you can make about the situation you are in. At first you will suck at it. But the more you do it the more you will get better and witty. Your jokes will sound retarded at first but you will have to continually improve. EDIT: And do everything u/bl1y says.

Oh man I feel for you. What type of uni do you go to ? A large one or a small one ? In a large uni most people will not know who you are. This can be good as they won't remember your first bad impression. If you go to a small more personal uni then it's different. .. Either way. . Being a nice person and being an asshole have NOTHING to do with dating. You might as well ask "How did you find a good median between being a law abiding citizen and a murderer?"

If you don't mind, can you share what its like to do PUA in India? Outside the Middle East, I think India might be the toughest place to be a PUA.

Ok not to sound like a dick, but at 22 you are too young to date single moms. But that's just me. She is most likely to be looking for a father figure for her kid and most 22 year olds are not ready for that.

If I were you, I'd drop the whole first paragraph and just talk about who you are as a person. What are your dreams/goals? What do you like doing in your free time? Some random/ funny facts about you. You wanna come off as a confident guy who has a "don't give a fuck" attitude. The whole bit about "full of people who make snap judgements.. zero tolerance for BS... etc" is too heavy and too much of a turn off. Also, make sure you have a good profile picture.
/r/seduction25/12/13 11:48 PM
1

Uhhh I don't want to sound mean but I don't like it at all. The first paragrah makes it sound like you have a chip on your shoulder. Even if it is true, you should leave that off your profile. This is very unattractive. Make your profile very laid back... funny and talk about your HOBBIES and stuff you LIKE TO DO.
/r/seduction25/12/13 11:45 PM

I see their point, but this can be true regardless of your level of intelligence.

OP don't listen to this advice. It is very desperate. Be happy for your good friend. There are literally hundreds of other women. This isn't a game of "revenge" as this dipshit u/Gonzo437 is suggesting. Its about making yourself a better person who is naturally attractive.
/r/seduction17/12/13 06:54 AM

u/Reddit_SLC gave you the frank answer. Now I'll tell you how to alleviate it. Follow the advice of other sedditors whoare saying "focus onliving a life where self validation.....women/work out/work on hobbies/etc". In the meanwhile, keep going out to places and explore new things. Approach tons of other women. Some of the approaches will be awkward as fuck. Learn to enjoy it. See what you did wrong and improve on it. It takes a hella practice for some people. Eventually you will know a ton of o…

If you are posting that idiotic shit, you shouldn't be on this sub. If you are a below-average looking dude, you can work out, wear fitting clothes, get a trendy haircut, and learn to speak articulately. If you do that, you will be reasonably attractive.
/r/seduction15/12/13 05:33 PM

Pretty much this. If they want to learn/improve themselves, they will come.
/r/seduction10/12/13 12:23 AM

To answer your question, I say we do nothing to change Reddit's perception of PUA. However if a friend of yours is having trouble in dating, then introduce him to seddit. Don't push him. One conversation is enough. He will either spew the same bullshit about how its dishonest/yaddah yaddah or start participating in PUA. I was one of the former. Evenutally I came around to it. No persuasion necessary. As far as the entirety of reddit goes, its a waste of effort. Don't bother.
/r/seduction10/12/13 12:22 AM

The majority of redditors are idiots. I wouldn't hold their opinion in high value.
/r/seduction10/12/13 12:18 AM

Haha. on a serious note, I do the same thing. EDIT: I meant I also enjoy getting rejected. Not having sexual relations with myself.

Also go door-to-door canvassing for your favorite candidate during elections. AA=Destroyed. Since politics is a really touchy subject for a lot of people, you are bound to get cussed out/confronted. This is the ideal setup to learn to deal with these situations. EDIT: Oh and you learn to connect with a diverse group of people. It sounds cheesy but it really helps in my career.

Rave is a type of liquid. When people say "lets go to a rave" they mean "lets go to a dance party fueled by rave". It is an energy drink that causes them to dance in spasmodic motion. However due to the the popularity of EDM, we have a shortage of rave.

Canned routines have become so commonly used in PUA hotspots like Las Vegas, NYC, and Los Angeles that many girls will recognize them right away and get put off. As a result I don't think they are as effective. You can try if you want and tell us in a FR how it went.

Don't try seduction in high school. Just work on inner game. Heres why: This is something you need to fail at many times before you get good. In high school you are around the same people for a long time, so your failures and negative reputation that comes with it will stick with you. Don't try any PUA techniques. Just work out, dress well, have fun with your friends, make friends if you don't have any, and just try to have fun.

I read an earlier link about "Flipping the fatty". Do this: When her ugly friend appears, show that you are more interested in her. Hit on her a bit. Ignore your target for a bit. If the UG is receptive (most likely she will be.. she doesn't get hit on very often), offer to go buy drinks for both of them. When you are away getting drinks, the UG will most likely talk to her friend and validate you. When you get back, you can go back to ignoring her and talking to the original girl. If UG starts …

I'm a senior in college and was in the EXACT same situation as you during my freshman year. Also, I'm Indian. Heh. I was so depressed freshman year because of my reputation.. because you are right, word spreads fast and no girl wants to be with a dude other girls don't respect. This is so depressing in a computer science program in college. In some of the classes I have, I walk in and see how almost everyone is shabbily dressed, has weird haircuts, etc. I can immediately tell they are not the most sociable people around. Also, I can almost guarantee that they know very few girls at all. Why even bother?

Words of wisdom that transcend time. This quote alone explains so much. It explains the "friendzone". It explains why you always have guys complaining about how the girls they like "always end up dating douchebags".

Be confident and explain that situation. Think about it this way. If you practice your game with that handicap, imagine how tight your game will be once you DO have your own place? Thats why you should never "temporarily stay out of the game until the situation improves"

In that case theres something unresolved. Do you have BO? bad breath? Are you doing approaches in an environment where there might be negative rumours about you? I'm short and ugly and do just fine. Stop whining please. I understand, its very easy to fall in that defeatist mindset. You will have to work harder than the average Joe, but thats a good thing. Picture it as you have a crippling injurty that requires you to ALWAYS stand erect when you stand. You can't slouch. The positive is that you are always seen standing erect. Same goes with being ugly. You constantly have to be confident, dress well, have good hygene and work out. Is that a bad thing?
/r/seduction16/11/12 08:51 PM

Dude this. Looks don't matter doesn't mean you can dress like some WoW neckbeard, etc. You have to take care of yourself and dress well.

"Hes a lucky guy" EDIT: Apparently this is a bad idea. I liked "Do you want another one?" from this thread.

Go for it! I actually wanted to do stunts like this many years ago before SPU came out. Most of my friends were AFC so didn't want in. All the best!

Oh ok yea thats unfortunate but oh well! I'm not really into sports either lol but I've been trying to get into football. Its fun to play but not as fun to watch. I'm not particularly athletic though.. I hope that doesn't matter too much. I'll look into jt trann. Is he a sedditor? Thanks for all the advice buddy!

I don't think I've ever had easier pickup than in Dallas Thats great to hear. learn to like chain places What is that? I don't know what you are talking about. Yeah I'm atheist too, I'll take your advice in that regard. As far as racism goes, I don't care if old white men are racist towards me. I just care about it affecting my pickup. As many people have pointed out, it shouldn't matter too much. I mean I've grown up in the South (Georgia) and never really encountered racism. I'm guessing Texas…

Whats really bad now? Uptown or your approach lol? Its a bit confusing.
/r/seduction11/11/12 05:11 AM

Exactly. That is not even PUA. I stopped believing it when she said "They have to seduce me" or somethign like that. A real PUA works by building social proof in the situation, building a rapport with everyone at the party, enjoying himself, not giving a fuck, and then chatting up women just like he would anyone else at the part. Add in confidence and build attraction. Thats how it is done. Not by some cheesy opening line. This is definitely staged.

Lol you are the moderator. Why are you linking me this? It is obvious that I am not your target demographic. EDIT: Although I agree. This material is not worth paying for. I do think Mystery is a scam. However, most suscribers of this subreddit have actual useful tips.

"men lack role-models, father-figures, entire generations who grew up without their fathers (schools, government facilities) and heavily dosed by the 90s strong-woman type characters and crazy macho action heroes without knowing where they fit in. it is a lost, lonely, awkward generation searching for a place under the sun. PUA community is a way of providing father-figures in a twisted way." "Right on the money" - uploader I can't imagine anyone being more wrong.

Wow some of it is not bad but asking women for dating advice is a terrible idea. They can not articulate what they want.

Before you start doing anything, tell yourself.. no CONVINCE yourself these things: 1) If I am not happy about how my life is right now, I have FULL power to make decisions to impact it. Right now I don't fully know/understand what the decisions are but I must find out. It is a quest of self discovery.. to find out what you need to do to overcome your problems. However this is much easier when you know for sure that a solution exists... you just don't know it yet. 2) Whatever you do to try to be…

I also forgot to mention that I speak confidently. Hear yourself talk through a recording. Practice talking firmly and confidently. This makes a huge difference. Seriously, this is important. Speak firmly and confidently.

I am an average (okay maybe below avg) looking male and I can attest to this. Looks matter but dressing well, good hygiene and haircuts can go a long way. Also, the way you carry yourself is important too.
/r/seduction24/08/12 03:07 AM

Dude. THIS. I never viewed myself as attractive. In fact, I'd say I'm below average in looks and height. But man, when I'm wearing trendy fitted clothes with a nice haircut and shoes, my game changes. This is more so from my own confidence.

A huge poster of Tayler Lautner with his abs shirtless. It will attract ALL the ladies. However, they will think you are gay so I guess that defeats the purpose.

I consider myself pretty flexible in terms of the activities I'm willing to do. However, pole dancing is too far lol.
/r/seduction09/08/12 05:00 AM

In that case I suppose you either try and do new things or maintain a childlike wonder over the interesting things you do as a routine.
/r/seduction09/08/12 04:58 AM

Hmm thats a hard one. I do tend to go overboard with work at times. I might have a similar issue once I start working full time. What do you do for a living? Maybe if you are a team leader or a project manager, you could take your team out on some "bonding" adventure or something... skydiving, scuba dicing, camping, volunteering, etc. How old are yoU?
/r/seduction09/08/12 04:57 AM

I think its better to do things you are genuinely into. THat or trying NEW things that you might be into. Some ideas I've had: Boxing, Flying, Improv, tutoring kids, etc
/r/seduction08/08/12 04:49 PM

Thats funny you mentioned that. Groupon emailed me ads for pole dancing lessons. I was like errrr target advertising fail..

You bought the Bhagvad Gita? That is pretty interesting.. is there any particular reason you bought it? I'm trying to finish reading the Bible (KJV), Quran, and the Bhagvad Gita by the end of the year but these books are so long....

Hmm. This is something I tell my sibling (has similar issues, opposite gender). Its too late for me to do that because I am 1 year away from a career.
/r/seduction31/07/12 06:37 AM

Hey! Thanks for your insight. I'm hoping the majority of my problem is simply "lack of practice". You are exactly right. I rarely go to bars/parties now. Havne't been on a cool vacation for a while, and dont watch that many shows anymore. When I did all these things freshman year, I definitely felt more social. I guess I was a little upset at "losing prowess". But it all makes sense now.

Would fashion designer be an appropirate title for you? Because that could actually help out your game. I saw this one PUA show where this Indian (straight) fashion designer was just killing it at a club. I think they mentioned that he founded a fashion house in NYC or something.

Ironically I think that was an Indian PUA show.

Start working out for one thing. Even if your fitness level is shit, the first time you work out, it releases endorphins. You feel so confident right after that. Suscribe to r/Fitness and search their guides for a good work out/diet plan. Also, look at how you dress. No homo, but dressing well gives you a boost of confidence.
