Rollo is a jackass. Bluepill prof is too. Watch enough of these schmucks videos and it became apparent to me that they are such TRY HARDS. Like they just have to convince them themselves and everyone else they are alpha.

I don't know if you have kids, but realizing I'd never want my daughter to date an RP guy helped wake me up to its harms

I would say the single good gem from RP is work on improving yourself in any areas of life that you can and this will make you more attractive. That said, every other aspect of RP is pretty harmful, shallow, and ignorant
/r/ExRedPill29/11/20 12:07 PM

I wouldn't misrepresent it that much. It's less about orgasms mainly and more about "women desire me."

The point, and you can disagree, is that of your self worth is based on whether people want to have sex with you, other people's opinions of you becomes your center. This book would argue that your own view of yourself should be your primary focus, not other people's sexual other other interest in you.

Excellent post op. Can you explain why the concept of Negative Assertion from WISNIFG is not weak speech? It's the one concept from that book I can't understand. Every example in the book, it seems like weak language.

And if he doesn't fit in because he displays stereo beta characteristics like failing training programs because he's weak, that's not alpha.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 03:34 PM

I disagree that alpha is about simply non conforming. If you are in a stereotypical alpha zone, ie military Bootcamp, simply being that guy who doesn't fit in doesn't make you alpha

I don't think you go far enough OP. Yes a look is important, but so is charisma. I don't think rp has ever really talked much about that. They focus on a very narrow set of rules to be "alpha" and to some extent they are helpful rules, but if you want to become Robert Downey Jr or Chris Hemsworth you need a magnetic personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/19 07:23 PM

Agreed. I think Charisma on Command videos on YouTube help balance the issue. Rp almost sounds like you have to be John Wayne or nothing.

I'll try to pay attention to the "when" when asked to do stuff. There are two possible scenarios here: a lazy husband being pestered to be productive, or a busy husband with a wife who constantly pecks at him to do more/other stuff. My situation is more of the second.
/r/askMRP01/07/19 06:23 PM

I'm asking because this is askmrp. Is the general rule "never do something for your wife she can do herself?"
/r/askMRP01/07/19 05:44 PM
-3

At what point did I say I was sitting on my ass in this scenario? She asks me things like this at all times of day, whether I'm busy with something or not.
/r/askMRP01/07/19 05:05 PM
2

Those are some great replies. Probably half the things she asks are things she could do herself, though. Like helping get a kid dressed, or bringing her something from the other room, etc
/r/askMRP01/07/19 05:02 PM

I'm afraid I don't get the joke. It's not that I feel 'guilty' so much as I feel like an unhelpful ass.
/r/askMRP01/07/19 05:00 PM

Additionally, evolution theory makes a hell of a lot of sense in the rp theory about mate selection but society doesn't talk about it.

The book No more Mr. Nice Guy is a good resource to answer this question. Basically, avoiding conflict, seeking to put other people first constantly, thinking you have to camouflage your personality traits to fit in and not rock the boat, using manipulation like Covert contracts whereby you do things for people with the assumption you'll get what you want in return, thinking loyalty and effort are rewarded when assertiveness and aggression can go much further, etc etc.

The whole dynamic of shit testing. Realizing I've been failing them my whole life without knowing what they were. On some level I don't think women even consciously recognize why they do it. It's like a mating ritual.

This is not the story I referenced above, I have heard many, but it is similar in some ways. [Being Raped by a Woman] (http://www.cracked.com/personal-experiences-1666-5-awful-realities-being-man-who-was-raped-by-woman.html)
/r/MensRights15/06/18 05:25 PM

I heard the story years ago. Maybe he didn't penetrate and they just held him down and humped him naked. Is that really relevant?
/r/MensRights15/06/18 05:15 PM

The whole angle of "men can't be raped because they had an erection" is incredibly ignorant.
/r/MensRights15/06/18 05:07 PM
3

I'll do better. I heard a man share a story once about being drunk outside a bar. A pair of filthy, smelly women cornered him in an alley and forcefully raped him. He said it was horribly traumatic, they were disgusting and repulsive, sweaty, obese, smelly. They were armed (can't recall but I think with a gun) and kept hissing that if he cried out or resisted they'd accuse him of rape. I can't recall if he went to the police or not, but I know his friends just laughed it off. He felt violated, a…

But a lot of people assume that the sexual assault is with an attractive woman when they make light of it. What if the woman was a trailer park goblin? The whole brush it off angle isn't easy when the person raping you is repulsive. Again that shouldn't matter either way , but mentioning it at least reveals the hypocrisy in the typical response.
/r/MensRights15/06/18 04:20 PM

He is not talking legally, he is talking socially and emotionally. He said something like "Congratulations, you got laid. Walk it off."
/r/MensRights15/06/18 04:14 PM

His conversation with Dave Rubin on it about two hours into the recent podcast shocked me. For a guy who's pretty free thinking his outright denial and dismissal of female on male rape was disturbing. I hope one day he has a solid MRA change his mind on air.
/r/MensRights15/06/18 02:49 PM

It's never called MOLESTATION when a woman does it. Freaking double standard.
/r/MensRights31/03/18 12:50 PM
1

this shouldn't matter at all, but I always ask when people make stupid comments like this, this don't imagine a beautiful woman, imagine a fat trailer park goblin forcing herself on you and then tell me he should enjoy it. Usually shuts them up
/r/MensRights30/05/17 11:50 PM
1

It should not matter, but I always say "Imagine being raped by a hideous trailer park goblin." it usually gets the point across

Even breitbart won't call it rape
/r/MensRights02/04/17 12:49 AM

And did the therapy work?
/r/MensRights07/09/16 12:28 AM

2 Things did it for me: One was when a good friend of mine was falsely accused of raping a girl in his freshman year of college. After a gruellingly long process, he was finally deemed innocent of all wrongdoing, but he still lost all his scholarships, was expelled from school, and had his name smeared all over town to the point that he went into deep depression and social anxiety for years. Second was when a church in my hometown fired a pastor for having an affair with a member of the worship …
/r/MensRights06/09/16 04:56 PM
1

The comment on this post is pointless. Rape IS VERY traumatic. Clearly neither of these women likely experienced it, or they probably wouldn't joke about it. Their comments are stupid, but that just shows 2 females with poor taste.
