As /u/MegMartinson said, read about the Operant Conditioning methods. You can use the same information to encourage him to get a job. The methods are basically indirect hypnotism. It's the former. Yeah I am implementing 2 rules in the meantime. No contact with guys for at least a few months while I sort myself out. I've started working out every morning and am trying to get the cash together to join the local BJJ gym. Second rule is that at first, I am not allowed to get involved with anyone without the approval of a panel of 4 friends- 2 males and 2 females. I get close to the 'Yes Master' thing, which is very strange because I am not like that in every other aspect of my life.
