You said running water but that's actually not as necessary as a clean place to crap. I literally did this exercise (moved 2000 miles, to a forest 25 minutes from the closest town, etc) and not having a hygienic place to crap almost killed me. When I finally did get a house put in and everything, we didn't have running water for a few weeks, but I could go fill 150 gallon containers literally anywhere and "flush." Just be aware that your toilet is probably the single most important thing in your…

Let's assume you're correct; what happens if you accidentally ingest some tainted food or drink while you're out on town, and you get food poisoning? Now your gut biome is wrecked and no matter how hard you try, your gut flora and fauna don't process the nutrients correctly anymore? It's not really in your control. You can be the healthiest lifestyle practicing person on the planet and if the dice come up snake eyes, you're screwed.

Uh, it's partially genetic and partially environmental from birth. If your parent(s) we're living in shitsville, Arkansas and you spent your childhood breathing fertilizer, corn and tractor dust, you might call that unlucky. There are neurotransmitters activated by "getting laid" that are really difficult or illegal to activate in an easier way. If you think that a healthy sex life without offspring is "meaningless" - well, have fun with MGTOW and Incel.

Good post. I have a comment and a joke. Man, wife, and 2 donkeys are walking to town. One of the donkeys keeps trying to get flowers on the side of the road. "One," says the man. They continue, and a little while later, the donkey kicks the man. "Two," says the man. They continue, and around a tricky corner the donkey pulls too hard and breaks a saddlebag. The man pulls the donkey off the road and kills it. "Why'd you do that?," asks the wife. "One," says the man. The comment is: we called these…

This isn't a completely parallel analogy, but i hate meatloaf; everyone i tell this to says i need to try their meatloaf, it'll totally change my mind. Kinda the same thing.

Here's my pro-tip. California wine tastes horrible. Even $12 prison wine from France tastes better than the best wine from California. I don't know if something happened in the last 10 years to make this so, or if it's different with white wine (i don't drink white) - but california wine is AWFUL. It assaults your tongue. that's the only way i can describe it.

It's especially noticeable in the southern states, where that whole "southern hospitality" thing is a thin veneer over a cultural hatred of everything and everybody. I had a neighbor who was a long haul trucker, a million or two miles on the road. The most sarcastic, abrasive, hilariously deadpan motherfucker i've ever met. Tip all wait staff based on performance, instead of looks. If you go to a restaurant often enough, they'll recognize that they can't butter you up, they have to actually do their damn jobs to get a tip. I don't let my girl watch disney. At all. It's completely, 100% banned in this house. If she watches it on netflix she loses TV privileges for a week. When i say disney, i mean ALL of it, including their cute TV shows. About the same age as OP's girl. I read a couple of years back that people saw a drastic change in their young daughter's behavior when they were allowed unfettered access to disney and disney style programming, so i tested the theory. I usually know how much my cohort makes at a company to within $5000. I also know what i've been offered in the past, while just interviewing for fun rather than profit. The more an employer wants to bicker over your wages instead of trying to win you over with a better counter-offer to your current company's counter-offer, the more you should ask for. Price yourself out of the job. You gain confidence.

Which sounds to me like exasperation. She wasn't exposing a kink or vulnerability. She wasn't bringing up choking or spanking or ravishment fant…

I cook, but we also go out as a family, and sitting there eating nothing because i can't get a nutrition breakdown of the food (restaurants salt and sweeten everything!) is lame. I've done this when the person in front of me at a supermarket breaks out a bag of pennies, or those physical WIC stamps. That shit can take upwards of 15 minutes. Throwing a ten at that person makes my day suck way less. And since I expect literally worse than nothing from every human interaction, it leaves everyone wondering why the hell i did it in the first place. No ulterior motive guys, I'm in a hurry.

I gave some girl in a Winnebago four gallons of 93 recently. She thanked me. I can be nice without needing a real reason. She picked me because I have a relatively expensive car for where I live; I dress in slacks and button down long sleeve shirts 99% of the time, and I have prescription sunglasses. She tried to make smalltalk and I blew her off. I couldn't pick her out of a lineup, either. And this was last week.

Strippers in their 20s have a feature called "fuck me eyes" that seems to work like a charm to open the big ticket wallets. Its not the eyes at the club, or on dates. Its a switch they can flip. To make anyone believe. It's weird what sort of crazy stuff you can find out if you are completely apathetic.

Its a good thing that a literal minute long hug, once or twice a day is enough to keep oxytocin flowing in Pavlovian response to you. Its a weird thing. Evolution. The male can exert euphoria onto the female, at will. Not only that, but a stoic, silent hug, 30-90 seconds in length, conveys everything essential to the female. And includes a drug roughly as strong as an ms contin tablet.

And the entirety of civilization hinged on agriculture. We are, as a species, just puppets in the grass takeover of trees. Something as simple as a slice of toast warms our cockles. We do all bidding for the grass. And that's not even that far of a leap. Nor is it original. But we as a species are very arrogant considering what a stranglehold grasses have on us.

No, and I want freestanding but I'm not quite willing to pay that sort of price yet... What was your point? If I had a garage or basement would there be good recommendations? I don't want to buy a bench, necessarily. Unless benching will improve pain in my shoulder orbit I feel as though my arms and chest muscles are on track. I really just need to burn off calories in a low impact way; especially when it's 100°F and 100% relative humidity outside, or raining. Low impact is key, though.

Dumpster diving? Yes. For instance I know what I've thrown away when I move out of an apartment. Sort of a cathartic thing to unburden. Kitchenware and cookware, laptops, electronics. I know someone will get it, there's folks (I was friendly with most of them) that do diving for a living, be that as it may. I think men are fooled into thinking the friend zone is worthwhile because "everything worthwhile is worth working/waiting for" which is true. You can't be a virtuoso overnight everything takes thousands of hours to do perfectly. Except a sexual relationship with a woman who doesn't see you sexually at all. But go to the gym instead and stop calling the same damn woman every day and texting back and forth with her and bailing her out with car repairs or new cars. Stop buying women gifts. None of…

I am 100% sure that if I could stfu when anyone talks to me I'd be a millionaire. But why does everyone have to be so fucking fractally wrong? Everyone, I think, wants to converse. Hopefully intelligently and on topic. Rhetoric is all important and really all we have as humans to convince others. In fact the word frame is borrowed from rhetoric. If two people are arguing in different frames (think abortion) then nothing ever is accomplished and both leave thinking the other person is retarded. There are solutions to frame... Most of them involve understanding the frame of the other person... That takes time, effort, and dedication. This sub helps with recognizing other folk's frames and capitalizing on it. IMO…

Actually that is incorrect. Science has recently(last year) shown that people who weighed more and then lost weight have to watch caloric intake and expenditures more than those who never weighed more. Example: pregnancy weight gain. If you put on a ton of weight, even if you lose it all you have to eat less calories or work out more than if you had never gained the weight to maintain. I have to run a 200-500 calorie deficit pretty much forever because I once weighed 300 pounds. It makes it a hu…

Yeah I read up on it and had a little outdoor aquarium with corn, dill, squash, and stevia in it. Little 10g tank, ran a pump in it every so often and kept the copper levels up so the nitrogen fixing bacteria could beat the algae at their game. Corn and stevia did great, the others grew too slowly and got burned by the sun through the glass. Forest farming is literally the most productive way to grow on land. The only better method at all is aquaponics. So yeah all about it!

Wanna know how to survivalist? Just try your best to not injure yourself so bad you can't move. Anything else is battle scars.
