Did you even try? https://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=gender+equality+paradox&hl=en&as_sdt=0&as_vis=1&oi=scholart 8 out of 11 relevant articles on the first page, with estimated 229,000 results. Anyone can edit a Wikipedia page lol. The wikipedia page literally talks about just one of these studies.

All studies show that countries with the most gender "equality" (i.e. the freedom to choose what they want to do) actually have more gender disparity in their industries and fields. The data is simply staggering. Just look at this graph: https://researchdigest.files.wordpress.com/2018/03/screenshot-2018-03-14-08-41-461.png?w=1690 You can google "gender equality paradox" for endless peer reviewed studies. Women on average prefer working with people, men with things. Of course, we shouldn't shit o…

I was in a semi-similar situation. Yeah I kinda skimmed these other comments and agree with everything. Sex is VERY intuitive. lol. I mean yeah there's good sex, great sex, but unless you don't get hard you guys will probably have a good time. Good luck out there!

haha oh, that's pretty tough. Well just do whatever is the most natural thing. You should be taking notes in lecture! >:D Just imagine James Bond doing whatever you're doing, and copy him :)

Agreed. Except for the win-win part. People who don't change and become more confident stand to lose more women. But whatevs.

"Wanting space" usually means "I want out" which usually means "I'm bored with this" It could be that she's just the type of girl who needs drama in her life, and since you were so calm and peaceful it was getting frustrating to her. If that was the problem then the solution is just to find a girl who isn't like that :) On the other hand, it could be a matter of you were just plain old boring. Everyone needs a little variety in their life! Were you having the same kind of sex over and over? Same…

thanks! yeah i think the difference between the "assholes" and the "confident but nice guys" is just a difference of arrogance/aggression.

don't say nope! an easy way to become friends with girls/women is to understand how they communicate (hint: emotion and social analysis, it's pretty interesting stuff). i've become good friends with girls just by sharing love-life stories. like talk about how you're having trouble with this one girl and ask for advice on that subject!

Make a fool of yourself! Many women love a guy who doesn't get embarrassed. Play to your strengths! I like to joke and tease, as non-creepily as possible. If you know a lot of trivia, learn to explain things without all the lexicon and make it interesting :) If you're a fast learner, go take salsa or pottery classes. etc etc. Listen! Women like to talk, too (/s). Sometimes you can be comfortably part of the conversation and only be doing 5% of the talking. Don't always ask questions to keep them…

Yes, you did the right thing. Even if you guys are in love with each other wasted-drunk sex is pretty much always terrible. But why was she in your bed? If this happens again and she's sober, what's going to happen? What should happen?

I was just discussing this with a friend the other day, and we had pretty opposite opinions. Just an fyi, I'm a 22-year old college kid in Boston. So I have around 800 friends on fb. You're probably like whoa there emptyopen you probably don't even talk to more than 100 of them. Friends from high school that I don't talk to anymore, friends of friends that I've gone to parties with, and even some random people that I've met once or twice and added me. Yeah, you're right. I don't talk to them. Bu…

You should concentrate on having fun. If you're having fun, then she'll be having fun, too. Concentrate on her but feel free to talk to your friends. That might give her a little incentive to want to get your attention (if you just focus on her all night, she'll probably feel like you aren't a challenge and that she can do better). You should definitely dance with her once there has been a little flirtation or kino or whatever. Just be confident and spontaneous and happy and she'll have a good t…

Hmmm.... like the kind of face when you thought something was really funny, but you're trying not to laugh. Just try and smile with your whole face without moving your mouth. The edges of your eyes tighten a little, I think. You should be on the verge of smiling when you do it. In fact just trying this over and over should be a ridiculous enough thing for you to laugh about haha :)

To add to that, some suggestions for you to go with your gf: dance classes, cooking classes, bars (I guess), interesting lunch date places, travel to other countries, etc (social places without the necessity for everyone to be hooking up afterwards).

I agree with what I've read so far. Another method you could try is meeting people WITH your girlfriend. Introduce yourself and your girlfriend to anyone and everyone. It totally takes the pressure off of them to try and seduce either one of you and allows them to become friends much easier.

She would not be opposed to talking to you at all, fyi :) How about a joking request for help in the class? And make it obvious. If everyone knows it's an easy class then she'll know you're just making an excuse to talk to her, but that you aren't a super serious/boring guy.

I totally agree with everyone here. She is 99.6% not into you right now, but maybe if you keep getting girls in front of you she might change her mind sometime in the future. But don't worry about that. Just have her as a friend/bartender if you can.

Yep. This is probably the best case scenario. The worst case is she is insane and this is the warning flag at the tip of the iceberg.

I'm a guy but I use my eyes a lot. To avoid the "serious eye" and instead have "playful eyes" I just do this little trick in my head. I smile broadly, except I pull the reign in on my actual smile. So my eyes are actually smiling a lot, and my mouth is only on the verge of smiling. When I actually break out into a smile, the eyes have been smiling the entire time.

This is probably the best option, I don't know why I didn't immediately go with this. I guess I thought she might be hurt or think that all guys would only be interested in her physically. I think she's had some bullying problems in her life so I have to super gentle I think.

sorry, what's preselection and pawn-ing? the hooking up with other girls in front of her actually sounds like not a bad idea. that might be too strong in a lot of situations but I could instead just talk to her about who I'm hooking up with.

Ok but take this as an example: 19 year old, cute. she gets really nervous to the point where i can't even have a solid conversation with her anymore. I imagine that I would date her in a year or two, after she's more experienced and less innocent. I'm not just going to take her virginity casually, but I don't want to spend a lot of time developing a relationship right now. I'm looking for flings and casual sex for now. She's very impressionable but won't stop texting. It's like diffusing a bomb…

Totally agree. However, sometimes it takes a slap in the face for some people to wake up. We can't be all nansy-pansy when we talk about AFC behavior. I think it's better to use strong words when needed.

Sounds about right. I think it's because men tend to talk to each other with mostly fact-based or joke-based dialogue. Women tend to talk to each other with mostly emotion-based dialogue. I bet it's refreshing for women to find men that can connect to their more artistic, creative, colorful side of themselves.

Depends on how turned on she is already, probably.

Nice post! I especially like the end. One part I wanted some clarification on: It's a scary time for men who don't want equality because they are about to be surpassed by women in all social areas. I'm not sure what exactly you meant by this. What is a "social area"?
/r/seduction27/02/12 09:52 PM

I totally agree with your (2) point. However, you should make her hate you in a way that makes her feel stupid for hating you... They aren't afraid to make some women angry at them. makes it sound like women can either like you or hate you. I prefer having them choose between liking me or not knowing enough about me to like me yet. Maybe it's just my style, but I never feel the need to have anger in any situation.

You don't have to "read the girl" if you can communicate with her. I'd try an upfront explanation of what you want.

I just have to say I really agree with you when you say "a little sexual tension is what makes male/female friendships so much fun."
/r/seduction24/01/12 07:39 PM

exactly. i don't act cocky or arrogant unless it's a playful joke. i'm a very friendly guy, but i just learned to scoot past hesitations i felt when encountering attractive women. that's the art of confidence that seduction has taught me.

ego has a terrible connotation. a person without an ego does not have a personality. an ego defines individuality. bad egos, good egos, many shapes and sizes.
/r/seduction17/01/12 08:27 PM

exactly. seduction isn't exclusively for men. seduction is very simple: it's just the art of becoming more attractive (in all of it's aspects and glory). it just so happens that ON AVERAGE women expect to be approached vs the other way around. it's a product of our upbringing and won't change any time soon.

I enjoy happy endings :) I think the common thread in all of your points was peaceful confidence. Even thought you titled this as "aggressive" I think this kind of successful seduction is as peaceful as it gets. It seems you did only what was necessary to generate attraction, at least to me.

Hire a lawyer. ok but seriously, start NOT looking to others and their happiness, and start focusing on YOURSELF. you can't make anyone happy if you can't make yourself happy :)

Hey! Half-japanese/half-american here. Girls in Japan love confidence even more than in America, in my experience. Nice job approaching anyways! Oh and for future reference you might want to try 'kirei'. It's like kind of in between cute and beautiful.

For Halloween i'm gonna be a heart and a girl i know is gonna be a cop. so we'll be cardiac arrest. i'm relatively new to this scene but in my life i've been pretty successful with women i think. i guess my question is why do you play the game? is it more fun during the process or is it for the close?
