So I asked this girl out I met through a mutual friend via e-mail/messaging for coffee. about 2 - 3 days later (not sure since I forgot the fact that I even messaged her at all), she responded with a yes but she is approaching it from a friend perspective (honestly made me chuckle and somewhat roll my eyes a little bit). I seemed nice and our mutual friend, a girl, speaks highly of me. And signed it with her number.

I don't plan on responding until I have really thought out my actual response. I'm thinking of just ignoring all the detail and maintaining my frame by saying "cool, will contact you soon as I'm available". Since I'm actually really busy with other things in my life not pertaining to dating or sex.

My question is, is there any modifications that I should do to my intended response? How is it coming out if I responded with that?

Thanks for any input seddit. Hopefully this pans out to an FR later on. :p

edit: she's older btw. I don't know by how much.
