Also known as the desert rose effect. Happens during military deployments. 6 months into a 12 month tour, that wookie lookin broad from civil engineering who would be a 4 in the real world looks mighty fine compared to the sweaty men and camels you otherwise see.

Got laid by someone I orbited for years with a few simple changes. Have had dates with 2 others, and approached and been shot down by several more. Maybe it works, or maybe I got miraculously got better looking.

Im running a bit of an experiment myself along these lines. I'm taking 2 8 week classes right now, psych and A+P. In my psych class, I'm dressing sort of business casual. Nice clothes, decent watch, shoes etc. In my A+P class, I'm going the opposite. Cargo shorts, metal band and nerdy shirts. I'm acting the same in both, but even in the first week I've noticed a few differences, though I can't rule out simple differences in other people's personalities. Psych teacher makes more eye contact, and …

I haven't owned a TV in 5 years at least. It makes it easier to find out who is interesting I've found. People that can have a conversation outside of television are much more likely to interest me.

Reminds me of the opening to a Lamb of God song: Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live I will kill you, If I die you are forgiven". Such is the Rule of Honor.

Misogyny's definition has been warped and expanded to cover pretty much anything that doesn't agree 100% with what a feminist has to say. I was called a misogynist the other night by the wife of a looong time friend of mine who I consider a brother, because I disagreed with how she was handling a situation. Basically she was ready to jump straight to violence on the chance that some cis white male privilege having shitlord would dare to oppress her. I cornered her into admitting that violenty de…

That is exactly her nature. She's taking your time, and giving nothing in return. Why should she? She's getting it for free. Listen to Patrice O'Neil's Time Ho, and it should tell you exactly the dynamic women aim for with orbiters. On the resentment, it has a place, and you aren't wrong for feeling that way, but understand that it's just how women work. Don't get mad at women for being women. Realize you aren't angry at her but instead the false premises you were raised on. Channel it into self…

Read up on comfort tests man. You don't have to be apathetic 100% of the time, for something long term, eventually you'll get some comfort mixed in with the shit. It just means you are doing dread right and she is worried her SMV has dropped to unacceptable levels for you. If it has, treat it like a shit test, if it hasn't soften the touch. Been there man. I knew it sounds counterintuitive, but you need to pay way less attention to her. If she starts paying more to you, you have a shot, if not, find another one. Must everyone else is jumping straight to NEXT, because the vast majority of the time your efforts will be better spent on someone else.

You can use it though. Don't say "I don't have a car". When she gets there, just walk over and get in, let her know where she's taking the two of you. I just did this myself. I literally walked past my car and got in hers. When she asked me what I was doing I just gave her a dismissive gesture, like one you would use to let a servant know they are to leave. Threw her all kinds of off

Used to work with a guy who was a bouncer part time. He was pretty big so not too many people messed with him, but 3 dudes decided it was a good idea one night. They surrounded him, so as soon as they started coming at him he picked out the leader, stepped towards him, and kicked him so hard straight on at his knee that it bent backwards and the guy went down screaming like a bitch. The other 2 decided they wanted nothing to do with it. Hollywood fights are shit. Most of them are over after a co…

Every chick is different. They like it slow, fast, hard, soft, rhythmic, arhythmic, and everything in between. Alphabet gets boring. Try song lyrics or the rhythm of the song. And if all else fails, see if she's receptive to fingering at the same time. I've yet to find one who isn't.

I often wondered the same thing, even though I only pay 700 a month in child support. Divorced when she was 2, that's roughly 100k by the time she's 18. Surely I could have found a...professional for less than that? Meh only 6 more years to go, plus she's been decent and hasn't taken me back to court to get more. That shit would hurt, I make twice what I did then.

No doubt man, I learned how to talk shit with the best on many many late night raids. My best experience was later on in Rift. I was in a top 10 NA raiding guild, and we generally fielded the top 4 or 5 PvP players as well. We were brutal to each other but goddamn could we get shit done. The couple chicks that we had gave at least as good as they got.

When I decided to get healthier, I cut out sodas altogether. I drink tea (with a bit of honey) during my night shift, milk with dinner about half the time, and water the rest of the time. I drank nothing but soda for about 14 years, and it was the hardest thing I've ever done. I did it for 3 month or so before I tried to make any other changes.

"Look at my SO and the great job he has, I'm so lucky" ... "He's always at work satisfying my material needs" ... "I pretty much HAD to fuck my personal trainer, I was SOoOososo lonely" ... She's going to do it, you might as well be the one, otherwise she'll just find someone else in 5 minutes. If a broad is willing to fuck around, you aren't going to prevent it and save some random guy the heartache. At best, you've delayed it for the time it takes her to scan the room and find a willing dick.

I felt it was necessary. This isn't just some random chick I meet in a bar that was looking to get fucked. I was basically one of her orbiters back in the day, I wanted to see if a change in my attitude could change her view of me. I'd say the experiment was a success.

My last LTR fucked me over so well that I actually went MGTOW before I knew what that was. I decided years ago I'd never get married again, and wouldn't put up with the shit she put me through. It's the reason so much of this stuff resonates so well with me; I've already had inklings of some of the thoughts, but to see it all laid out in a tidy PDF was like a shovel to the back of the head.

Started 5x5 2 weeks ago. First time I did squats, I thought my legs were going to fall off for like 4 days. Couldn't do them the next time I went, but the second and subsequent visits, I was fine, other than that slightly jelly leg feeling after. Going up in weight still, and I feel like the goddamned hulk every time I finish a workout. Even the thought of knowing what I'll look like in a year is enough to boost my confidence. I'm with ya man. My former best friend, as in the guy whose house I stayed at when I moved out of the house during my divorce, weekend paintball, d&d group, later on decided the gf I had was too good for me. This. Last week I did my first set of squats ever. Next 2 days I could barely walk, and was super sore for another 2 after that. Tomorrow night though, I'm back at it. I've also lost 8 pounds out of my goal of 40 in the last 2 weeks. By xmas, I should be lean-ish. By summer, I might not be embarrassed to take off my shirt around people. With so much on the line, it's no wonder all of them are putting on the pressure to have their photos taken in a several thousand dollar dress in front of a ridiculous pastry. I know the benefits of lifting, but I'm pretty overweight atm. Should I concentrate on dropping the excess first, then building? I'm 6'1 / 270 if that's any indication how fat I am.
