Oh boo hoo, she's not getting what she wants from a relationship. He'd be better off without her. More time for money.

Same here. This seems like a legitimate concern for a relationship...

Seems like legitimate concerns. I think they should plan a "date night" whether it's once a week or every other week, or once a month. Something where he puts the phone away and concentrates on making her happy. She hasn't attacked him, but is feeling undervalued.

I think that this image would have been better without the derogatory adjectives describing the view that is less popular here.

If they didn't, then they'd be downvoted.

Considering it's not funny at all, I think you may be right... Or am I just repeating your joke?

This is comedy, anything goes in comedy, comedy stops being funny if you're not allowed to offend anyone, ever.

I'll laugh at anything in comedy. I laughed at the harlem shake NYC edition. Am I terrorist? No.

I've seen more unbelievable.

"when are you going to get back to actually having fun with the comic" I have seen this, he even incorporates it in to the comic where the "guys" are harassing the main female character about her haircut and crappy poetry. Perhaps, like many starving artists, he's seeing a market to exploit. This, thoughts like these are why I keep giving him a chance.

I have always loved his work, I just truly hope he moves along and understands all sides of it and comes to a more balanced view, and doesn't get stuck like many people tend to do when (and I know this is harsh) brainwashing is present. I will keep my hopes up he gets a little more moderate in his representation of the whole thing. I much more enjoyed his satire

That's where my head was at until today. This one kind of got me. I hate one sided things... But that's why I'm here, to get a variety of opinions before I decide to stop reading.
/r/MensRights22/05/13 08:15 PM

And this is why I am still reading. I think he may be bringing to light the absolute ridiculous nature of feminist extremist attitudes and the kinds of things guys have to deal with as far as peer pressure. But then this strip kinda tipped me over my line of confusion...

See, that's where I have been trying to keep my view, that he's mocking them, because I loved the comic back in the day. But now it's just showing me stuff I have to deal with on a daily basis already...

All I see is some poor schmuck trying to be a martyr and get on the good graces of the "oppressed" oppressors. http://sinfest.net/comikaze/comics/2013-03-23.gif

My first reaction is to downvote these things bcause they are so absurd, but then I remember that's what the subject of the post is, posting the absurd.

Yes, I agree, it's being a brat, but that's simplifying it a little too much in my opinion. I also think you know where I'm coming from, and I certainly see you side. Neither of us can be entirely correct without first hand knowledge of the situation. I call a draw if you agree. And damn it I wanted my sandwich toasted too.

How are a woman's rights infringed upon when a man expects her to make him a sandwich? How are a woman's rights infringed upon when she is expected to clean the toilet? This is the same as expecting the woman to make a sandwich and she brings it back with no mustard and swiss instead of provolone, then throwing that sandwich on the floor so it can't be used out of protest. Do you get the point yet? This is sexism plain and simple. If it were not, she would have anted up the money for the phone t…

It really is. This woman appears to believe that just because she is a woman that the man should always give her exactly what she wants. And when the man she chose to milk does not, she throws a tantrum and a hissy. It can also fall in to the category of spoiled brat, ignorant individual. Basically someone who believes they are better than everyone else.

I agree with your point. "bullies" should be dealt with as bullies. If they know something hurts you, they keep doing it.

While I maintain your sentiment is admirable, I think you may ahve gone about it in the wrong manner. We all know what the problem is. Joking about it or even acknowledging its existence gives it power. I speak from experience, making jokes like this just shows the (for a lack of a better word) that you are offended by what they ahve said, and they know it works so they will continue it until you stop caring or acknowledging that they exist.

My Uncles ex wife is getting $12,000 a month for spousal and another $3k for child support. She still says it's not enough.

I would happily go to jail to avoid those payments, I mean not only do I not have to pay, but I get free room and board. In most states they will teach me a new trade, and some places I would even be allowed a hobby, as well as free medical and health benefits.

Good point with the appearance of needing help. Still doesn't change the fact that there are bystander condoning her actions, saying that he deserved it. No one thought the woman deserved it, even if they didn't intervene. The mindset remains despite the actions of these individuals, their opinion remains biased and sexist, even with their lack of "balls" to do anything about it. I am aware there are two sides of every argument, however my point remains valid that the general bias remains with t…

I am aware that it is dificult to back these statements with numbers, but there are certain arguments that are true regardless of whether or not someone decided to poll thousands of people. I can prove the instances where women have the default support of the public at large in a few different situations. Abuse Theftskip to 3:40 Despite what you say, people are more than willing without knowing anything about the situation to run to the aid of a "damsel in distress" and be critical of the males.
/r/MensRights04/10/12 04:37 PM

Well I basically meant that statement in the sense that when a woman needs help, more often than not it is far easier for them to get help than it is for men to get the same kind of help.

I am actually having this debate now. It is due to having other concerns later on in life like children, or not working full time, taking more sick days, all the way to there being less women than men in that particular field. When viewed as an average, of course the group with the higher numbers is going to appear to make more money.

Yeah, it's not like me, I dunno why I did it, I think I need to vent somewhere. I'm used to debating with religious and atheist individuals, but the wage difference issue really is a sore spot with me.

I remember reading something to a similar effect that women who focus solely on their career actually come out slightly ahead of their male peers because their superiors are afraid the women will cry sexism.
