The Patriarchy and entitlement and some other buzzwords. Feminism. Feminism is the cure to all ills.

Now I'm imagining you guys in jeans and t-shirts popping bubblegum while listening to your iPods in ye olde faire.

Hey, you'd already own a costume... might as well use it.

No it isn't. And that is a rather impressive straw man. Tried it once and found out that you hate it =/= did it enthusiastically but just don't feel like doing it for your current SO.

Along with the religious right. You know something is good when both tips of the horseshoe are hating on it.

Try /r/femradebates It has the same problem (there it's pretty clear that the feminists stay out because they cannot handle being challenged without the ability to silence the opposition) but with stricter moderation.

It depends. Is it a horrible oppressive shirt handmade by a female friend? In that case he deserves public humiliation.
/r/MensRights18/07/15 08:58 AM

It's right there in the article. It isn't about actually helping the victims, it's about controlling the narrative. Never mind that a big part of said narrative was (and will continue to be) that lots of men are rapists and don't know it.

That's why we have this push for college tribunals.

It depends on which women we are talking about, and the circumstances/timing of the shift, TBH. Would country borders still be intact? Could men still vote? Incidentally if anyone knows of any good speculative fiction in this vein, please feel free to link me. I've found a handful of good stories + a ton of pulp fiction + some pie-in-the-sky fiction.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/15 04:18 PM

How would that work, exactly? Like, all men lose the right to vote and don't care to get it back?

I should add that at the same time my husband was also actively looking for other women to have sex with, and had a one night stand on a night out with his friend. At the same time meaning... prior to her cheating? Or soon after? Or literally simultaneously?

According to one of my friends she was just pressured into it by a corrupt system and got off lightly because she was used as a scapegoat. Does that make sense to anyone?

Yeah it turns out that when you keep expanding the definition of a word in a vain attempt to get the emotional weight of the original definition applied to more and more things, people start rolling their eyes at you after a while.

Tumblr feminists hate when certain men degrade/insult/threaten women, so instead of just mentioning why it's wrong, they start purposefully degrading/insulting/threatening men in an effort to "make it even" The thing is they jump at shadows and insist that every little thing is degrading/insulting/threatening.

Things that would make to harder for a reasonable person to trot out a standard line barely have any effect (if they have any at all) on people near the tips of the horseshoe. No, see, in a heterosexual relationship, once you are paired off it is 100% up to the woman to decide when the man gets sex until she decides to break it off (literally or otherwise). If he even implies that he has a sex drive independent of her will and that he may seek fulfillment elsewhere, that is coercion, and through the magic of mental gymnastics, a form of rape.

Both parties are supposed to "get it" and thus the conversation becomes a dance, truth being revealed in the tension between what is said and what is meant. But what if both parties aren't on the same page That's called "rape culture". Alternatively, "misogyny".

We aren't SJWs. We don't care about the pomp and circumstance. Forcing someone into an insincere apology (or, as SJWs love to do, starting a WAAAGH! to hurt them into making a sincere, tearful apology) doesn't matter. Not doing this **** in the future matters. So does making this right for the victims.

Society doesn't give these people any sense of purpose or fulfill their need to feel important, so they come up with their own, and... here we are. Some lose themselves in video games (particularly in the Asian countries, to the point where lawmakers have gotten involved), others in porn... others in video game porn... and some just go off the rails entirely and start harming others.

Men can desire and order anything they want, as can a woman. That's feminism. And women can tear it down and still make claims like the above. That's feminism. Then they can embark upon epic campaigns to ban access to what they want ALL THE WHILE INSISTING THAT ISN'T WHAT THEY ARE DOING, again and again, with a straight face each time. That's feminism.

As soon as the SJWs allow it... Honestly, as terrible as they are, I'd still prefer a world that is drained of all fun to a world that is blown up, hyper polluted, etc.
/r/MensRights29/03/15 10:44 PM
1

I'd say that is probably the case, as a result of men being more visual.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/15 04:49 AM
2

I'd say that the degree of awareness for any given trait (being attractive or not) varies. For visual cues, yeah, I'd agree with that. Just to clarify (not that it'll help if the you-know-whos decide to butt in here): I am not saying that anyone has no idea what they find attractive, or even what type of features they find attractive- only that we may not be aware of the whole picture (or even the primary motivator(s) in some cases).
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/15 03:38 AM
3

As much as I hate to fall back on this type of explanation: this really is a pretty universal human trait. What we THINK motivates us is not always what ACTUALLY motivates us. And that goes double for what we SAY motivates us. This has been studied many, many times.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/15 03:21 AM
2

Because they won't let us. Even if we withdraw, they will chase us the **** down and any attempt to have a "safe space" of our own gets painted as misogyny in the eyes of society.
/r/MGTOW29/03/15 12:22 AM

/r/TheRedPill28/03/15 05:47 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/15 05:25 AM

You just need to keep expanding the definition of "rape" to the point where the "victims" themselves can go their entire lives completely unharmed and unaware that anyone considers them to have been raped.

In fact, most of the world's population really. Anywhere where men are allowed to care about virginity. That's an awful lot of social conditioning. How did things end up that way across such diverse cultures? Anyone have any answers? Or just downvotes?

/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/15 04:50 AM

Yeah it is. The TL:DR version is: In societies that still prize virginity and treat it as a prerequisite for marriage (which is itself almost a prerequisite), women who have lost their hymens sometimes choose to have hymen reconstruction surgery (I have no idea how prevalent it is, though).
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/15 04:37 AM

Why should people be less inclined to hire women based on that one instance? So there's one topic, and one person. How does that reflect on women as a whole? That would fly if figures like her didn't get rallied around by women no matter how dumb their actions/causes happen to be, simply because they are women that fit the narrative of oppression if you ignore the facts surrounding their cases.

women who report violence are being imprisoned It's worth pointing out the little word game that is being played here, as it is one of their favorite tactics. It is true that some women who report violence are being imprisoned. The trick is that she is presuming that the reports are true, and is playing a sort of confidence (wo)man's game with words to try to prod you into sharing that position by masking the maneuver with the gravitas of the issue of rape. These arguments are only ever meant to work in one direction. I bold it to make it clear, because I don't think people really get this aspect of feminism in such a blatant way. I am not making this up, I am not st…

Utilize the typical feminist pattern of bringing her opinions into random conversations (even those amongst strangers) and insisting that she is right, and that others be named, shamed, and punished for their opinions- but do it to SJWs instead of hapless men. Then the next time a SJW advocates this stuff, lunge for them and don't stop pummeling until the cops pull her off. Spend the rest of her life (including her time in prison…

There was also a quote from a famous feminist icon that I can't find anymore (if anyone could help me out here, that'd be great). I seem to remember it was Dworkin but I am not at all sure. Feminism has devolved from a movement for equality between the sexes to a form of institutionalized butthurt. I really dislike the term "butthurt", but it fits here... That's all it really is.
