Great but it's a little late for that now. I'm more wondering what my next step should be. I'm debating between cutting my losses or trying to figure something out.

Same. I don't plan to stay close friends or really hang out with her. I've actually run into this problem with 2 other girls in the last few months. I haven't spoken to one since. The other tried talking to me at one point at a social dance but I wasn't interested in having a conversation. It ended when another girl came by and I asked her to dance.

Practice. Talk to anyone. Speak slowly and don't be afraid to say something stupid. If you do. Laugh it off.

Same as with other girls. That said, learn to dip. The dip kiss, done right, will make her melt into your arms.

I have gone on first "dates" where we never got past the basic conversation you would have with friends. No flirting in a first date is an example of not showing intention early enough. I have met women I was interested in and talked to them occasionally (say once a week) and let that go nowhere for over a month. The demeanor of the conversations starts off with excitement in the first couple of weeks and becomes friendly later on. It's like the first date problem but over a much slower and long…

The sincere compliment is my approach as well. To take it beyond that requires an indication of intention to do so. That's where I am concerned about building a reputation. It's one thing to ask one girl out. It's another to ask her out, get rejected and then ask out the girl standing next to her. The failure is primarily in stating intention early enough and directly enough. The secondary failure that I have is moving forward beyond that. The girl seemed sober to me when I first spoke to her. I…

Also a christian here although I do not follow the "wait until marriage" view. You use the same approach as everyone else. Just state your intentions clearly. I will warn you though, human beings are sexual animals. You abstaining from sex until marriage is going to be a red flag for most younger girls who just want to have fun and enjoy themselves. Older women might have a different view as they are looking to settle down. Your best success will be with other people following similar beliefs. T…

Never ask a woman her permission to ask her out. Just state your intentions. The intention being, to take her out for a drink on x day around y time. You can give a range of times if you like but don't make it seem like you are building your entire day around seeing her. Give the range of times that work for you and your schedule.

How the hell did you get into a fight in college? The only way for a real fight to break out is if someone does something really inappropriate. And that's usually the guy getting beaten up.

Go for it. Be direct.

So how do you be sexual without being off-putting? How do you actually flirt? What are the kinds of things you say? How do you direct a conversation in a flirty manner? I'm really looking for solid examples here. Almost word for word. Something I can examine and adapt to my own personal style and personality. Saying that I need to be cocky and funny and somewhat sexual is good but I feel like I don't internally comprehend it on a level where I can actually use it. It has been a while since I've …

It's about the reputation. I don't want to be that guy who is hitting on and failing with every girl in my social circle. I've already gotten some fallout from that. See Field Report 1 for an example. The people I met at that event don't particularly want to talk to me anymore. That includes the guy I saw again in field report 2. I also neglected to mention a couple of other events where I burned a few sets and ended up getting cut off from a group of people who were initially very receptive and…

Alright. This is pretty much true. So my question is, how does one flirt? As in what would a step by step process of what to say look like? It's been a while since I've had to flirt with girls I wasn't already in a relationship with. Do I just say the kinds of things I would say to my ex girlfriend? Because I'm pretty sure I would get slapped with a restraining order pretty quickly. haha. And you are right. Some of the girls I reject because I'm trying to make sure I keep a pretty high standard …

It's how I got started and honestly, most of my good successes have been from there. Right now I'm trying to learn proper day game because I feel it will yield better results. I did pull a college girl around the same time by just approaching her on campus. I told her she was cute and then started asking about all the camera equipment she was holding. We went on an instant coffee date and had sex on the second date which was a walk around the park and obviously a trip back to my place. She was m…

This was my fourth lay. I was dating her at the same time I was dating 2 other girls. I met her on Okcupid and our first date was at a coffee shop. The main escalation was verbal. The best part I remember from that date was when we started talking about awkward silences and I told her that they were only awkward if you make them awkward. Sometimes there's nothing more intense and passionate (and I think I used the word sexual but I could be wrong), that builds more tension than two people just s…

At 27 I pulled a crazy hot 19 year old virgin and got her to be my FWB for about a year before she started university. I slept with her on the 3rd date.

Haha. Except for the fact that I immediately nexted her.

Thanks. I get a lot of rejections but this one was one I felt was worth sharing just to give the newbies a little window into how girls respond to being approached. Thanks for the advice. I'll keep that response in mind. Now that you mention it, I did use the cocky humour pretty well back when I was actually good at this. I'll make a mental note to try and use that more. Lately I think my greatest weakness is that I'm not pushing things forward enough. Not being sexual, flirty or aggressive enou…

I had just come back from a social event where I was talking to a few girls. Had one indicate interest but I messed that up as well. Long story. I might end up posting something about it. Anyway, I left my coat in my office so I was freezing on my way back. I see this girl walking the other way on the sidewalk. Think she's cute and I'm about 50/50 on whether I want to her or not. Then she looks at me and I see her lock eyes with me for a solid 2 seconds. That's it. I'm going for it but I'm makin…

I'm not a fan of one night stands. Ultimately I'm looking for a relationship but I want to spin a few plates on the way there. A good FWB would be amazing right about now.

Already nexted her with a "No worries. All the best. Cheers." In retrospect, probably not the best move.

Thanks. I think I did alright but I didn't escalate enough. Next time will be better.

I get you. Day game is where it's really at. I just know that I could do well at night game if I put in the time and develop the right skills. It isn't that I failed last night that bothers me, it's that I'm also failing with the day game. I'll get there though, as I'm sure you will too. It's just like getting back to the gym. At first it's really going to hurt and you're just not going to be able to do that much. But if you keep at it and work through the pain, you'll eventually hit that point …

Ah. It's not quite that bad. I would say it's more like Jenga. It takes a couple of bad moves. Haha. But I do know what you mean I've been working on being more direct but that's more in conversation than with kino. Another issue to address....

No envy. I'm proud of him. This was his second time at a night club. I honestly thought it would take him another month to get laid. I know what you mean. Sometimes it just doesn't work. Still. The beginning for me was 3 years ago. I was doing pretty well for a while but I settled into two consecutive LTRs and ended up losing all the momentum I had built up. To me, this feels like losing a high paying executive job and ending up delivering pizzas again. lol

That's always been my biggest weakness. I've never had problems being very physical or direct with my intentions when I've already pretty much gotten the girl. Before that it's always a bit of a difficult thing for me to work with. I think the reason that I never mastered it is because once I start doing it correctly, I end up getting girls almost immediately. It just never has time to work it's way into my brain.
