You have no idea what I’ve done. I had a temporary needs for time sharing motion filed and the day we were to attend court three weeks ago my attorney was sick and had to cancel the motion. I’ve done quite a bit on my end, you don’t know my full story.

I didn’t. After I filed divorce, she filed a restraining order. That sat in the court docket for nearly four months before I had the hearing. Judge finally dismissed it. I then realized when I reached out after that, that numbers were changed. My attorney has threatened contempt of court but has yet to file it.

I’m sorry man. The weaponization of the children is terrible and it hurts BOTH the kids and the other parent. It’s sheer evil. I wake up in those moods too, and have a lot of nightmares as well (like ones with my kids running toward me and crying and I’m teaching out to grab them then bam I wake up and I’m just here alone). I’m thinking the same as you - If the court somehow rules in her favor I’m packing up and moving far away. The legal system is completely corrupted.

Completely agree, and I hope you make it out quickly. I’m afraid of the brainwashing that’s been going on behind my back. Probably going to be a lot of healing and counseling that will be needed going forward for my kids

Very much so. Thank you

Thank you man, sorry you are going through similar. If it weren’t for my children I don’t think I’d be here to be honest. It’s the only thing that’s in my mind that keeps telling me to fight. At the end of the day they need to be saved, because I know who they are living with; I was always the buffer, calming down her nasty behavior and preventing her from hurting them. This keeps me in the game, knowing that if I delete myself… they will be left with only her wrath alongside her victimhood side…

A hundred percent this. Your ex and my ex would make good friends (if they could even manage to hold down a friendship, at least)

I am the one who filed and my ex went bananas; blocked my phone number so I couldn’t talk to the kids, filed an injunction against me (dismissed now, but she still hasn’t unblocked me), numerous other things. Granted I was with a narcissist. And I’m still thankful I filed first.

They won’t for long, just during the initial court filing - I have the hearing in a few weeks and my attorney has already laughed about it and said this is going to be dropped. It’s just been unbelievably hard to not communicate with my children

Anyone can file an injunction over anything or any made statement and the court airs on the side of caution and grants it until hearing. Apparently it was a big no no to drink one single beer and go fishing - this somehow is a “danger.” She was just trying to get a leg up on me and she knows what buttons work most effectively to hurt me

This is kind of terrifying. If he had proof of innocence how did he face prison? The hardest part of all this is that I can’t communicate with my children, so I have zero idea as to what’s going on

Thank you for this. Yes lots of accusations that are completely false. Things she submitted to the court to force an injunction and they are all false allegations; fortunately I have proof that I’ve given to my attorney

That’s the damn truth. My brother described it as a war too and said she’s in a control tower tossing grenades and I’m in the trenches trying to fight it.

All great ideas. I’ve been doing some similar things - before I would only eat once every two days from depression. But forced myself into this routine of waking up, showering, having breakfast, going to gym, coming back and having a protein shake - then I’m kinda bored from there on out if I’m not working - and then at night I like to read a physical book to unwind

I am not on the lease. We were going through divorce, she got an apartment on her own, told me to move in, then six months later told me to leave, so I did. The youngest is home schooled so there’s no school for me to show up to. Everything is heavily controlled by my spouse

No one can unblock me she controls their phones and all of the parental controls. She has BPSD there is no way around it. My youngest was screaming the entire time for me not to leave, oldest was not in the house during the occurrence. My wife is one to cause problems and then days later apologize. I actually thought that was going to be the same thing but then she texted and said she changed the door codes and I couldn’t come back home. She woke me up mid morning telling me to leave, wouldn’t l…

I don't know, but the attorney I hired a few days ago said "this is not going to look good to the court." I pray I will be on the other side of this one day. I would never wish this upon my worse enemies.

Yes, this 100%. I saw a child riding in a motorized car and I broke down thinking about when I bought my child her motorized car and the joy she had. Very difficult to be around almost anything as so many things trigger me.

Thank you for this. This is exactly how it is for me as well. Staring at walls and crying. Going in person to places like yesterday and they said “hello how are you?” And I just broke down crying and said “horrible, honestly.” I see things that trigger me. Like my last hang out with my daughter was fishing. Yesterday I saw someone fishing and it just threw me over. That’s all I could think about. I am kind of in isolation, though I try not to be by doing things like walking or going to the park.…

Sorry you are going through the same. It feels like a never ending nightmare. I reached out to an old friend who I haven’t spoken to in nearly 20 years and he was like “dude I’ve been trying to find you!” She had me delete all social media, distance myself from everyone, I’m wracking my brain to just remember names of people I used to know who know who I am as a person. She put me in a box. Then kicked me out when I was most vulnerable. In a way, I am glad. Because I feel I have escaped a prison…

Thank you brother. That’s the other problem; wife kept the keys to the car and booted me. So I have no car. Trying to sort all of this out, I just don’t know. It’s so much to process at one time
