I cannot imagine just thinking it’s not relevant to mention you are in a full on relationship… If I’m having sex with someone, I’m emotionally attached and I want them to be mine. Full stop. She was feeling unhappy in the relationship and they were on 'break' so it didn't count as cheating to her nor did she feel like she needed to mention it. We only seen each other 3-4 times. So she wasn't really 'interested' in me except in how I made her feel and existed as one of the trinity axis for escape…

I may be wrong, but the 'soft alpha' is basically a 'hard alpha' minus all of the alpha red flags. Soft alphas, in whatever way they're doing it, lead in their work and personal relationships.: Alpha Red Flags: Regularly flirts with other women in front of you Makes it clear that he doesn't care about your needs or feelings Uses fear/intimidation/anger or other negative actions to get his way (fbreakfast edit: more cocky/arrogant masculinity and confidence vs quiet/stoic masculinity and confiden…

Some thoughts on discussion points: POLYAMORY In his estimation, 15-20% of the women he met on OLD were either poly already partnered or had been poly in the past and wanted to continue that lifestyle (granted OLD is going to overrepresent poly than real world). I'm a younger millennial and this was when I was dating back in college. Between the girls who were serially monogamous 3-5+ guys while they were in college and the girls that were simply kinky and open/offered different types of poly re…

So if there is something between Alpha and Greater Beta, that’s where he sits. Possibly a soft alpha from RPW vetting part 3: The Alpha/Beta Mix Many RP women describe their excellent spouses/LTRs as "Soft Alpha" or "Greater Beta." These gray area classifications show one of the limitations of the somewhat simplistic Greek Lettering System for Men.TM The takeaway point is, Red Pill Women have reported over and over that a healthy blend of leadership and provisioning traits is a proven formula fo…

The way he describes it is "she's pretty but I get turned off as soon as she says something From guys perspective, it’s an instinctual animal ‘wanting’ and it’s different from ‘liking’ that comes from higher order reason and long term values. Everyone wants and craves high sugars and fat from ice cream, chocolate, and snacks. But our reasoning mind and on a personal preference level we can choose not to like it if it conflicts with our values and goals.

Men are visual: all men are like that. It is evolutionary biology. An ERP Study on Decisions between Attractive Females and Money https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3471902/ Researchers studied how guys’ brains react when they have to choose between seeing a clear picture of an attractive woman and getting some money. They had 18 men decide between looking at “beautiful” or “sexy” women or taking cash. Here’s what they found: Quick Brain Reactions (P2): When choosing between money and a “b…

I'm thinking it's some mix of shock/dark/dry humor and a bit of copy writing like someone in the thread mentioned. Something similar to the snappy tinder profile descriptions people write: https://www.reddit.com/r/Tinder/comments/uubz5y/incredible_bio_no_notes/ To the guys over 25: I work a stable job and have my own place To the guys under 25: I love Star Wars and have a fat ass

I never did any online dating because I always did well with social circle warm approaches and there was always a lot of people to meet in person despite being in a small town between university, grocery stores, gyms, different meetings/academic clubs, etc. A lot of the comments on the post covered what no-comfort is missing (it's a dating ad from +10 years ago where they didn't have photos. Mentioning things like race, age, std status were all pretty normal in context) and things are being anal…

this makes no sense in response to what i was saying I was being hyperbolical with my reply, but it looks like the message isn't landing so I'll try a different approach. I'm writing the below and all of these comments with the intention of outlining that the community values 'not moralizing' and giving actionable advice. as a collective we should start looking for predatory signs in women like we do in men. narcissists and predators don’t make up the majority of population and aren’t really pro…

holding each other accountable actually works best in these cases. How much leverage do you have? What's your current social reach? How influential are you on social media and online forums? I would like a great society too with healthy, happy, and functional people but screaming into the void of the internet only boosts your feelings of self-righteous achievement and leads to near zero change in the few people who read your comments. The idea that change starts first with ourselves is to build …

I agree, I just wanted to offer a counter perspective from the men's side on this matter. Guys who are sharp can tell if someone's genuinely in a hard spot, going through heavy emotions and crying, or if someone really needs a hand - the intention behind the behaviors is what matters and can be read.

I don't have an exact number on it, also am introverted, but the amount of women I've met and who I would classify as actively dark triad (conscious or unconscious) in their day to day life is about 15% to 20% (leaning towards <15%). They're phenomenal at screening men, building beta orbiters, and know the exact types of men to avoid if they feel they'll get push back or challenged on any of their requests and behaviors.
/r/RedPillWomen23/09/24 11:35 PM
5

Yeah, an easy view to spot if someone is showing major signs of dark triad is to put all of their long term relationships under a microscope, I'm big on spreadsheets, and look at the patterns and the stories it tells. People who prioritize short term objectives and self-interest will typically leave a trail of relationships that they demonize once they've broken the halo effect or the utility of the person has ran its course. There's other small tells, but that's beyond the scope of this thread.

as a collective we should start looking for It would be nice, but it's best to start first at home, with ourselves, before we start raising moral crusades. Everyone thinks about changing the world, but we can only change ourselves.

Playing the victim card, crying, and other emotional manipulation tactics tend not to work on men who have more important things on their plate than rescuing 'damsels' in distress. But that's probably the objective of 'lucifer's daughter', vet for soft targets who are easily influenced rather than try to break through hard targets.

OP hasn't mentioned these parts of her history and is asking for advice, but I think the mods should lock the post under 'problems beyond the scope of RPW'. Her challenges and obstacles run back a full year under multiple subreddits who has likely advised her on multiple levels on different options and strategies she can take. For her to now post on RPW and ask for advice, I'm not sure how well it's going to land considering her track record on reddit.
/r/RedPillWomen10/05/24 05:06 AM

There's been physical abuse in the relationship as well. One of OP's post has a story about her husband tackling her to the ground with a chokehold because she wanted to look at his phone early on when he was cheating. There's also the months of gas lighting and other wild stories. The only possible reason I'm seeing that she's staying with him and 'giving' him another chance is because he makes a lot of money and she's co-depedent.

On alpha widowhood / Oneitis: Oneitis is a slang term for an unhealthy romantic obsession with a single person, or the belief that they are the one, even when they are unavailable. It can cause people to have one-sided conversations, chronic relationship fantasies, and put more effort into the relationship than their partner. Oneitis can also lead to feelings of hopelessness, heart palpitations, dry mouth, depression, anxiety, and an inability to seek out other romantic or sexual relationships. …

What chatGPT is saying about Jung's and Myers' cognitive stack is simply wrong. But it is very popular on the internet. OpenAI (ChatGPT) trained their model on a lot of reddit comments; I'll have to go back and give him a thumbs down to contribute to his RLHF (real learning human feedback) algorithm. I was worried about when I was going to run into one of the models hallucinations and have it convince me that that was truth because I was being lazy on fact checking and not doing my due diligence…

All this you have to do xy and z first sounds funny to me. I think you naturally have good vibes and will enjoy touching each other throughout the day or flirting, if you're active. Sounds like something a 'natural' would say ;) Sometimes people lose their spark in a relationship and they forget what makes up that missing 'x' factor for them in a relationship. Do you think it's typical of xNTJ to "mask/pass as" sensors and feelers in their social life? Nope - when they manufactured us in the robotics industry they left out our feeler and sensory functions in favor of a machine learning algorithm. There's no need to mask or pass when you can brute force with reasoning, logic, and effective decision trees.

Before we do a deep dive let's set up some frames to help organize our ideas so we'll have a bubble to go back up for some air. In my experience, it's about maturity. A younger woman will be more inclined to damsel and vent her frustrations, while an older woman will step up and solve the problem. A neat resolution that I've seen on RPW to this particular challenge is to ask your partner explicitly if they need problem solving, a listening ear, or a combination of both. Then both parties are on the same page. The man then gets to be an effective problem solver by listening and the woman gets her validation need for being…

I crushed more and harder when my life was going poorly and I was single too. Definitely a correlation there. I'll make some time to get around to writing a simple theory post on this, but the 'crush' has a simple formula when you break it down. Crush (Infatuation threshold) = Basic Needs + Special needs There's a baseline minimum of attractiveness, stability, provisioning, etc. that will satisfy what people need at a basic level in a relationship. Anything beyond that is just extra. Add in spec…

Perhaps it's only tangentially related, but one interpretation I have is that one should take caution when having an idea to meet some desire they have - ideas that pop into our minds to meet short-term needs are often destructive. Absolutely. On the opposite side of the field - the polygamous desire to have sex with many women. I've found that there's usually either an emotional/physical driver of 'something' that is making me attracted to strange. When I nail down specifically what 'it' is, I use it as an opportunity and gift that I'm currently missing 'x' in my relationship (excitement, challenge, novelty, etc. that I'm seeking) and express gratitude that I can begin putting in the same work that lead to that passion, security, or …

For me it's big enough that it deserves its own separate category. It's the foundation of everything. I realize now how absolutely fundamental this is. I think it really deserves its own category. One of the beautiful things about theory is that theory is great until it's actually put into practice. Theories often begin as a starting point or a framework, but the true value and utility is when it is applied in the real world or the field and it will either help us accomplish our relationship goa…

I'd place honesty under loyalty too. Mean what you say and say what you mean. No "I said nothing" when it's obviously Something (capital S). Or maybe I'd add a fourth D - dishonesty. You need to be true to yourself and to each other (more on this at the end). I love that you mentioned this. This is some synthesized responses from gpt with my additional edits: —— MBTI and its cognitive functions are popular for personal insight, but they lack robust empirical support when compared to other psychological models like the Big Five. The MBTI model, built on Carl Jung's theories and expanded by Myers and Briggs, introduces cognitive function stacks that significantly influence personality analysis. However, this aspect of MBTI isn't strongly backed by broad psychological research. And th…

Everyone is going to be passionate about something. I'm very much a Ti-Ne user, but I don't see why internal logic should be alternative to authenticity (Fi) or be opposed to harmony (Fe). I do think that the sharp dichotomy T vs F is a flaw of the MBTI model, especially when most people will fall somewhere near the middle - very small differences get magnified and divided into strictly different categories. The whole personality traits linked to cognitive functions stacking makes very little se…

When we've chatted in the past, I noticed your passion in a few areas. Most perceivers in general are open and flexible, but INFPs tend to dig down really deep and have a lot of strong convictions and beliefs that are aligned with their intrinsic values. INTPs on the other hand are a bit more dispassionate, cool headed, and are open to opposing logic. I like how /u/whisper organized these ideas on objective and subjective HVM. Let's try breaking this into two elements. All of the men you describe are value because they apply effort successfully to achieve their goals. A man whose high value is about being wealthy isn't a high value man simply because he has lots of money. He is high value because at some point he said to himself, "I want to be rich", and then figured out what he needed to do to make that happen, and he did it. So, first, an H…

First rule about fight club, you don’t talk about fight club. Most of the ECs /mods and star community members are on alternate accounts exclusively for RPW - both for avoiding being doxxed (your boyfriend in this case), but to also post freely on the subreddit. I think the mods are talking in the background about setting up a space for exclusive smv/rmv accountability and self improvement space. Still a good idea to build an exclusive RPW account though.

1b. The guys you use might become disenchanted by women, believing them all to be incapable of affection or companionship, and become P&Ders themselves, thus perpetuating the cycle. Holding on to bitterness, resentment, or anger is like drinking poison expecting the other person to die. Once that happens - hurt people, hurt people. I think that's true for one-itis and OP's youthful infatuation. Alpha Widow is different. She's more likely to overvalue herself. Good point. Guys are susceptible to the same phenomenon, called 'one-itis'. When a young man becomes romantically obsessed, he puts her high on a pedestal and worships her, devotes his life to her. I remember reading from one of the more traditional conservative women on the sub about how she would get the 'ick' from men who placed her on a pedestal. Huge piece of advice (and I’ll actually write this on the wedding shower game lol) is sometimes it’s more important to be happy than to be right! The way I've heard this is that, "You're not there (in the relationship) to win arguments, you're there to win hearts". Getting the dopamine hit for being right and not being wrong and 'winning' does nothing for you if it destroys your relationship rapport and love for the person you care about.

Agreed. There’s this book called ‘The Magic of Thinking Big’ and the idea is that basically you can 10x your results from what everyone is doing by simply setting a 10x goal. I think that's the greatest difference between many of the women who decided to go all in with their husband's/so. When I was younger and actively dating, I enjoyed and preferred when girls would throw in shit tests during conversations. One of the reasons why I enjoy reading RPW, red pill theory can often be applied equally to both men and women. Maybe RPW needs to make "Classic Womanhood" a thing instead of TradWives "Classic Womanhood" as strategy - I like it! You're right on the traditional maxims and precepts being powerful, but also limited in flexibility. The fact that it works and is an easy path of default conservative risk strategy makes it a hard sell to persuade others to stop thinking in terms of black and white good/bad and step back from ideology.

I think its universality is under question https://www.researchgate.net/publication/299839892_Cuckolded_Fathers_Rare_in_Human_Populations This is the referenced research paper that stated cuckoldry is at 1-2% rather than the original 10~30% that's traditionally stated from evo psych theory. Near the end of the article, it mentions that in lower social economic areas in mexico they found that the rates were at 30% and 10% in a particular south america…

What you're talking about is the idea that there are some long term innate evolutionary traits, that are hard to change, and there are also surface level traits that are very easy to change? Yup. Male and female secondary sex characteristics typically begin at puberty for both genders and have an evolutionary purpose of increasing the chance of breeding. In men: Broadening of the shoulders and chest (shoulders are wider than the hips) Growth of body hair (abdominal, chest, pubic, facial hair) In…

I don't think macro evolution moves that fast for R and K selection behaviors and traits that it would change what women find sexually attractive (primal attraction). Mystery (Erik von Markovik) wrote about how value can be distilled down to: V (value) = S+R where S+R = Survival and Replication In essence, womens attraction is determined by their value judging system of men's perceived survival and replication value (ignoring personality, preference, culture, etc.). That sounds like him. He is typically a person to call out bullshit, corruption, and lies and trp was an answer when the social contract for marriage 1.0 stopped being fulfilled and government decided to continue domesticating and exploiting it's citizens. Then he continued the conversation with RPW because despite being an anarchist in a corrupt society, he values a stable and strong civilization.

Maybe this is because women couldn't 'provide' so much as a man, but they could do the next best thing which is to use the raw materials that the provider has brought and make a home out of a house. Nice.

Our forebears knew whether someone would be a good spouse without living with them, and by and large it worked out beautifully. Why are we different? Looks like your post became an impromptu ama. One of the strategies we discuss on RPW is, submissive behavior as strategy (https://www.reddit.com/r/RedPillWomen/comments/80ryqx/submissive_behaviour_as_strategy/). Submission is for husbands, aka men who have committed to the leadership that entails. Agreeableness is for men you're interested in. Submission is when you 'get onboard' with your captain's decisions and fully commit to the path he's chosen once it is made, even if you personally disagree. Agreeableness is a pleasant demeanor and openness to demonstrations of leadership. Even if you can’t make Sunday service you can take part in other activities there. Agree, there's usually a mid week service at most denominations too, as well as various volunteer positions/events. OP needs to calibrate this to the demographics of the community she's involved with as there's old folks home where there's not much in options for fellowship with younger crowds and others where it's only middle aged families and all of the children are too young to date.

/u/lianne_tran Seconded. Is it possible to have a relationship without games or power dynamics? What is love even? I'll be a contrarian answer. No, I don't think any relationship should be had without games or power dynamics. We don't need people to fall in love with us to form and sustain a relationship, why fall in love even? Why eat food that's satisfying and taste good when you can just have a meal replacement drink. Except, you now have to have that meal replacement drink three times a day, seven days a week, 365 days/year. If you're one of those people who can eat purely for sustenance and can completely cut out eating for pleasure, A+ you're a machine. It does not necessarily have to be "the one" but how do yo…

Discouraging open communication in relationships. I often see posts here where women don’t want to “nag”/emasculate/be un feminine and won’t openly communicate with a partner on his behavior. If you have a country in despair and apathy attempting to reason with them from an intellectual stand point does nothing for them. You can moralize and attempt to shame them into functionality, but that one requires a good amount of work. Rile these people into anger, criticism, and contempt - and you can recruit that emotional energy into action and change. There's a purpose to the anger, it's not just a phase. And there was a design behind it.

Agree and amplify. This one's a classic and it works just as well with high dominance men who need more challenge if their women leans more towards low dominance personality traits. The key is that you want to keep the ratio at 4:1 because 3:1 neutralizes while 4:1 makes relationships flourish. When you create a positive relationship spiral we tap into ou…

I recently got a chance to reread /u/girlwithasidecar post "submission: a rose by any other name" from earlier this month. RPW wasn't designed to be a hug box - the forum was created to help women accomplish their goals of a "lasting and happy relationship with a great man". You can visit any of the other relationship subreddits if you want a dog pile that calls your date out as an asshole or a meanie - but on RPW, we believe that "we can't change the world, we can only change ourselves". This means confronting hard truths and giving the women who visit a hard reality check that just because they can catch the footb…

I'm curious if you're genuinely looking for advice to improve yourself or you're fishing for validation and confirmation that your date was a 'big bad meanie'. Your replies to some of the commenters piercing questions are either being ignored or answered in such a way as to give no information about anything wrong on your part or you're just completely not self-aware of your relationship market value and what you bring to the table.

Would you agree that a toned down version of u/Jessicacaitlin 's advice could be beneficial? As in, not actually entertaining dates, but preparing herself physically and mentally to succeed on a purely hypothetical dating market/in her own life, on her own terms. In theory, yes. With the new context that OP updated, this is one of the practical situations that would not be benefit from using natural dread game. OP’s husband is not a committed man. It’s about the person’s values and morality. This is one of the first steps towards the passion paradox. OPs husband loses attraction to the relationship and begins investing less. The 'one down' becomes vindictive and cuts off her investment and begins ramping up her sexual attractiveness (SMV) and becomes 'fit and hot' entertaining dates and emotional validation from outside of their relationship. Investment levels between both of them continuously flip flops and because this was driven by fear, desire, anger, and self-interest. Passiona…

Leaving should not be the first option when considering strategies for a sustainable and happy long term relationship. There's two children in this scenario and it's easy for you to drop the 'leave' message, but you're not the one who will deal with the final outcome of that situation.

i don’t get where that 18 years exactly comes from - a joke on how he’s immature? Haha People typically don't change much from when you first start dating them. There's been a number of field reports / rpw posters who initially dated their man for 'potential' and committed themselves to improving their relationship over time. There's a physical and personality type that I've noticed as a pattern I'm attracted to and have ended up in relationships with. Overall though, I think our first initial relationships builds positive feelings and memories and that sort of directs a 'type' pattern over our lifetime. But if you have new experiences with someone who's not your normal type, you can build new positive feelings and experiences and acquire a second preference that you have warm feelings and attraction to. That comfort…

It would be flattering at first, but you can usually tell there's something off about those types of people. Glad you liked it. I didn't go into further details in this series, but when vetting deeper you'll want to basically use the 'red flag/green flag' system from the original RPW 3 part vetting series for the shared goals and values you want in a relationship. Green flags are basically any of the positive traits you would want in a man from one of the categories. Red flags are any of the emotions that appear from the emotional category. That makes sense. Incompatibilities with over arching long term goals (timeline based goals, etc.) wouldn't be resolved with making compromises (we vs the problem) if both partners haven't fully clarified conflicting goals and values. This post covers my thoughts on leadership, responsibility, and the common drawbacks of equality within co-equal relationships. Leadership carries authority and the responsibilities are fault and ownership of the relationship's ultimate success and failure. Men have a tendency of using egalitarian relationships as a crutch to step back from the alpha role because inherent within leadership is hard work, accountability, and fault. Men who lean beta, egalitarian, or feminist have a convenient scap…

I like this system. I don't think it's fully complete, but it does operationalize the sexual social hierarchy of dominance, submission, and thresholds for submission which is really great. The breakdown on women's D levels and D thresholds makes sense to me and I can see it in my relationship with my girlfriend. This is from the follow up post part 2: Personality traits can sometimes be misleading. Not all alphas are extroverted, cocky - funny players, nor are they always explicitly leading others. When dealing with burn out self-care is absolutely fundamental, but not all self-care is self-soothing. Back in the day when loyal feminine women abounded, saying "woman" would simply be synonymous with saying "loyal feminine woman". How does that support our imperative of getting a good, committed, involved provider for our children? Correlation does not mean causation, but typically men who are capable at reliably securing sex from the gatekeepers of sex would mean that they have a lot experience (competency), social skills, and are socially proofed in that other women find them attractive. taking responsibility for what may not even be your fault is the only way out. Someone has to be Atlas take the sacrifice and bear the world on their shoulders to turn their family's future around. Because if everyone just did the minimum expected of them and demanded help from the government - well you see, the last 50 years happen. I'm a believer in extreme accountability. Basically, take ownership of every element and atom of your life regardless of the situation and become relentlessly resou…

That's actually typical for INFJ's to be social chameleons and socially mirroring / being other people (work, family, friends, lovers, people in general). Was recently chatting with sunshine on typing her partner and we're slowly making headway on finding out his type. We're currently examining, https://www.personalityhacker.com/personality-type-ask-love/, to determine which love language he falls under to root out a few options. If you want to tease out yours, check if you fall under authentici…

I would like to make another guess first - INTP. You enjoy playing devils advocate, as mentioned the other day, by 'throwing wrenches in nice theories' :) I believe I mistook you as INFJ because you do exemplify bridging hard discussions between multiple people (harmony function - Fe), but that's also a function that INTPs have (just not as easily accessible as one of the feeler types would generally have as a natural strength). I had to make a re-evaluation after reading through some of your re…

I think these types of discussions are important, because the average person approaches life in a casual and informal manner. They enter relationships based on feelings. They have children because of feelings. And they exit their commitments based on feelings. The worse part about it all, is that they'll become entitled that the world should change for their desires (government should allocate taxes better, the rich should pay for equality, my partner/children should just be better, etc.) despit…

What’s your type and why? Just your everyday average INTJ - we're good with hidden patterns and figuring out how systems work to accomplish our goals. Weak with relating to other people, but eventually discover that there's systems for that too 😂 That can get us in trouble sometimes when we're younger and lack a bit of self-awareness and neglect to emotionally check in with people and pace their reality.

I always gravitated more towards “For Women Only”, probably because I’m an INTP (that I’m still mind-blown that you just guessed and got right about me!). I understand people's dislike for MBTI accuracy, reliability, and overly simplistic stereotypes as well as Jung's original theory work and woo-woo ideas. But I've found it useful and fun as both a self-improvement framework and system for deeply understanding and relating to where people are coming from. As well as how to meet them at their le…

I was reading this post the other day. It's a excellent one and should be required reading as far as theory goes. I feel the book itself, "For Women Only", may be more immediately applicable and relatable than "Fascinating Womanhood" for goal oriented women (women who lean more towards thinking preferences over feeling) - but I haven't directly read either of those books to say for certain (only the RPW wiki sparknotes since they're both in our wiki).

When we first got married, this was easy for me. I trusted him and thought he was amazing. What happened, unfortunately, is that he struggled to get a permanent academic job for 5 years after finishing his first very fancy postdoc. This meant we had very, very uncomfortable stability during that time... During that time, I did not like or trust the way he handled the situation. But now we are in a place where I am viscerally afraid to put our life in his hands. I noticed weaknesses I cannot unse…

I think I'm understanding you more clearly now. Your values is that sex when had within the bonds of marriage helps build intimacy as a personal choice. And when partaken in casually, outside of marriage, does not accomplish the same goals (and so by cause and effect, one shouldn't expect the same result of building deep intimacy, reciprocal commitment, and strong bonds). It's not that you believe all relationships and all sex should be viewed as sacred and only given to each other within the bo…

When we give away access to sex outside of marriage - we are treating sex like a thing, a fun activity. Is this universally true for all women? Or just a value that's specific to more conservative and traditional leaning women. From reading this post, the message I'm receiving is that any sex outside of the institution of marriage is automatically bad because you're giving away sex and it cheapens the value across the relationship market. And so any relationship that does not follow a traditiona…

Great post! Commitment is when you stick to something or someone, even when you have zero interest! This is how you can be committed... You may have no interest at all, but you are committed. Devotion is when you are super committed. ...You can be committed without active interest, but you cannot be devoted without active interest. Devotion being an upgraded commitment is a nice analogy. Going against the grain here, but dark triad traits are simply a different set of goals and different set of environments that favors those behaviors and strategies. This is obviously not OP, but there are women who are not looking for marriage and find strong compatibility and shared goals with some men who are 'dark triad wolf'. Hi Scooby, Have you read any of the vetting series in the wiki? Vetting a Man (part 3) Typically, the strategy on RPW is to focus heavily on vetting in the early phase of dating which allows being 'vulnerable' to be a low risk action as you've likely screened out people who can hurt you early on and you're then dating men who are functional and protective of you. If you're having trouble around properly reading and vetting guys though, it might be a good option to go into nun mode while you work…

This is good fundamentals. From guy's perspective on sex, investment requests, and dating in regards to this theory/strategy. Some of the women I've dated non-seriously and moved quickly to intimacy with, usually only later wanted to cook for me, buy me things, or ask for dates (movies, trips, museums, etc.) that were outside of tea or a quick bite at a local hole in the wall - I normally refused their investment request and gently let them know I wasn't looking for anything serious. Human's are emotional creatures and we also like people who are similar to us. This can be easily seen in that we're inexplicably drawn to things that give us great emotions: good food, sex, drugs (alcohol, caffeine, sugar), attractive people who give validation to our self-image, status, etc. In particular though, when we relate to each other interpersonally, we literally feed off of each others emotions. What are your thoughts on alternative relationships becoming something that's widely accepted as a social norm in the us as a political and social norm? Anger management is the first step to any sort of therapeutics because as long as the person is angry, the harder it is for them to think logically and logic is what's required to TRULY connect with a feeling that is engrained deep enough to be causing damage. Besides which, destroying a positive social instinct wouldn't be the way to go, but rather teaching the ability to discern between the natural protectiveness (positive) and overindulgence, manipulation and i…

Hi Pola, happy cake day. You might want to read the side bar and the RPW wiki. This community was created as a harbor for RP minded women whose goal is to build a lasting and happy relationship with a great man. We explore the female RP sexual strategy, better known as "girl game", in an objective, realistic and compassionate manner. - RPW does not endorse a moral stance. We discuss the elements of girl game not as behaviors that are right, or good, or morally superior, but as tactical behaviors…

Your journey in dating / personal development in interpersonal relationships reminds me a lot of myself :) There was a tipping point when 'less is more' became the right action after years of immersion and practice of trying things that makes us stretch ourselves socially and personally (ways of being that often don't feel natural and intuitive to us). It's the challenge that guys and girls who aren't 'naturals' face, but also, after the crucible of growth and development (becoming congruent wit…

I like this a lot :) I didn't consciously think about it before, but those are some of the qualities that immediately caught my attention when I first met my girlfriend in college: positivity, kindness, a bright smile/fun. It could be viewed as something that's not a big deal since anyone can have those attitudes/energy, but you would be surprised on how uncommon it is from the guy's perspective on dating in college. She actually fed me right from our initial friendship/meeting and I was like, '…

So I do a lot of reading across reddit: Things like femaledatingstrategy and other places to get a look into the minds of men and women and how they process, view, and relate to the world One person I found created a 'dating journal' to mindfully approach this area of life because she was having trouble with online dating after exiting a long term relationship (ltr: 2 ltrs within past 10 years) I really enjoyed what she put at the initial part of her templates: The Dating Journal Mantra: Dating …

Edit: Rollo Tomassi actually has written about this: https://therationalmale.com/2011/09/27/social-matching-theory/ - his thinking and writing is obviously a lot more structured since he's had a lot of time to think and write on these subjects. As another commenter mentioned, it would be a good place to start reading. Simple answers are usually best, we're attracted to people who are most like us. If you do not have a degree and come from poverty or working class, you'll likely be most attracted…

Good post :) Thank you for effort and research in writing, compiling, and synthesizing thoughts from various RP writers as well as adding 'SunshineSundress' energy to your posts and comments. I've been finding a lot of hidden articles that I haven't read yet through your exploration, discovery, and analysis - I appreciate your effort and competency

Thank you for sharing. Your experiences with finances remind me of some of the themes I've seen in my brother's relationship and acquaintances from college and their family experience growing up. It sucks big time when the captain is not leading the family as the captain and foundational principles for financial management (accounting, budgeting, planning) and other elements leads to stress, chaos, and tribulation. In my brother's case, despite making a healthy living from a blue collar trades j…

I think you've gotten a pretty clear answer from everyone's replies, but here's one more from an old post on rpw: https://www.reddit.com/r/RedPillWomen/comments/5s08ni/how_to_vet_against_the_chad/ Scroll down to section 4: "He mentions he's going through a phase in his life where he "wants to explore."" Taking a hiatus from work, travelling, experimenting with startups, saying all he's done is be in school for his whole life, all translate to also experimenting with....women. (looking to change …

If you've had a chance to follow up on the link for 'How Does Each Personality Type Ask, “Do You Love Me?”" from my post - counter to the normal advice that RPW emphasizes on not emphasizing career achievements. At least for the INTJ sigma, we value competency as part of our personality over emphasis on effectiveness. This is one of the primary reasons why you guys were able to meet and resonate at an intellectual level and he said that he respects you because you were able to meet him at this r…

Asian guy here, guys from different races do not vary much from the perspective of our behavioral personality and emotional dispositions. You can normally get a gut vibe check by asking yourself how you feel about him and his intentions or making a "future" prediction on how you think the relationship will continue from here. If you're not on the spectrum (high functioning) or too cerebral, you'll normally pass the emotional check or future prediction fairly well. Otherwise, bring together a few…

Positive intelligence teaches a framework that identifies the neuro-imperative tendency to focus on the negatives and criticize others and how to balance it. It'll give him a set of scientific tools to weaken those criticism/judgement habits, build up positive behaviors (compassion, empathy, positivity), and it's based on neuroscience and is a fairly effective system. I discovered it back in highschool and it radically changed my attitude from cocky arrogant to a more empathetic and kinder indiv…

Thank you for confirming what I've been intuiting. I'll be able to articulate this better to my girlfriend that it's more about feminine energy and confidence (still good to have and develop the looks maxing skillset). There's plenty of girls who are very good at putting on their "made up" face but have cold/dismissive (or generally unsocial) energy. When compared to the "girl next door" who's not as polished/looks maxing but has that magnetic femininity/masculinity polarizing energy - you just …

A lot of the other users in here gave some great advice on manageable goals to help you work on your "outer game" to improve your feeling of efficacy and confidence. That should definitely be the first area to simply get started and not over think and be struck by decision paralysis. While you're working on these external goals for different achievements, remember to internalize them and update your self-image of who you are and celebrate the small and big wins (this is improving your inner game…

Good advice. I like your recommendation on gaining dating experience with the intention to explore, have fun, and setting learning objectives over performance objectives while navigating the challenge around sex. Good mindset paradigm shift as well :) thanks for sharing

Directly above the paragraph I linked to is another paragraph that goes more in-depth about the two types of interpersonal needs: basic needs and special needs ("Attraction"). Basic needs - companionship, intimacy, sex, and acceptance You mention alpha, popular, 100% trustworthy and committed, and attractive.; these are usually social acceptance indicators that RPW endorses (obviously not all of them, but a good starting point). They might not necessarily trigger the infatuation threshold for yo…

There's this book called "The Passion Trap" by Dean C Delis. It covers fundamental concepts on passionate attraction, "love", and the feelings and relationship dynamics that occur when two people meet initially and began to court each other and how relationship power dynamics create "one ups" and "one downs". Dean tells us about a concept called the infatuation threshold that can occur when two people meet and began to date (aka - "spark, chemistry, etc."): Infatuation Threshold = Basic needs + …

Street game is considered one of the better venues to pick up girls simply due to the quantity, quality, and types of girls you can meet (office workers, students, finance, scientist, etc.) as compared to say the club or house party. With that in mind, it is a lot tougher for the average guy to approach girls in those types of situations due to the social frame difference. House parties and clubs will see people expecting and looking to meet and socialize (so it wouldn't be strange to randomly s…
