Just keep working on yourself and improving. There's no magic formula when you have confidence issues except getting yourself to a place where you're happy with who and what you are. The confidence will come with experience and pride in the positive changes you've made.

She's a 4 or 5 out of 10. She had daddy issues. She had depression issues. She's on a green card to the US, and currently a LDR. It's your first relationship. Go meet other women and get some options. You're way too invested in this first relationship with a woman who you just listed all of the above red flags for... The worst thing you could do is make this girl your LTR and miss out on opportunities that would otherwise present themselves. Work on yourself. Read the sidebar. Focus on your goal…

https://therationalmale.com/2011/08/30/there-is-no-one/ We've all (or most of us) have been there before when we have that great connection with someone and everything seems like it could be perfect. It's an illusion. It's a really tempting illusion, but it's an illusion. You've only spent, what? Five days together? You've only just gotten to know her. What's happening now is that you're projecting all of these "perfect" traits on her and, let's be honest, 90% of that is just in your head. You'r…

If you've been reading TRP, you know the drill. Be fun and funny. Treat her like your bratty little sister. If she's an 8, she's got orbiters doing whatever she wants and telling her whatever she wants to hear. You have to be different. Since you'll be studying together, it's not quite a date, but it's a great opportunity to get a little game on. A month is a short time to try to move out of a lifelong BP mindset. Just remember that she's probably used to getting free validation from guys just b…

Have you read 'No more Mr. Nice Guy?' I think it would be a good idea. Take it from someone who used to get off on being a white knight, good guy and fixing shit for people. That gets you nothing. You have to put yourself first. I've been in a relationship with a codependent formerly abused woman and she was a mess in a lot of ways. I didn't see it at first because everything was seriously fucking awesome, and the sex was off the charts. Anyway. I wouldn't want to wish a BPD girl on anyone. Read…

Just a few warnings: Coming out of an abusive relationship that lasted 6 years shows some level of codependency and as you noted, low self-esteem. Both of the BPD girls I've known over the last several years have all been in some type of abusive relationship. I'm not sure if it's a commonality or causality. Pay attention to her mirroring your opinions, likes. etc. Women with a history of abuse tend to have coping mechanisms that ease their abusive relationship, but at a cost of suppressing their…

If you're looking for help with your moral boundaries, this is probably not the place. TRP is amoral. It's a toolbox. One of them is saying she doesn't want to be a fuck buddy and wants me to "let things go with the flow" after i told her I don't see her as a good monogamous match. Is she shit testing me? Not necessarily a shit test. Watch what she does, not what she says. If she doesn't want to be a fuck buddy, she won't fuck you. If she does fuck you, it's not up to you to worry about her hams…

The difference between people who succeed and people who fail is that the people who succeed see setbacks for what they are... a temporary detour, a hurdle, something to work through without losing sight of your goal. Focus on the big picture, which is continued improvement in whatever it is that drives you. Education, job, fitness... Make a list of your goals. If you don't identify your goals, you're like a ship without a rudder. You can't chart a course. After you define your goals, start cult…

Work on your IDGAF attitude. You don't make a dog come home by chasing it. Soft next and find someone else to keep you busy to the point where you don't give a fuck whether she calls you back. She seems to have all the power in this relationship. Fix that.

If the cash "is not much money" and you "really don't care" then it shouldn't be very difficult to act like it's no big deal, because in your mind, it isn't a big deal. There seems to be a bit of a disconnect between what you're saying and what you're feeling.

For home defense, shotgun. My daily CCW is a XD Sub .40. Why? Because it points like a 911 and I can hit what I point it at. Glocks aren't my thing. I'm a fan of the .40 but some people like .45s and some like 9mm's. The .40 is a flatter shooting round at 1350fps vs a .45 at 850ish.

Most people with resources wouldn't pay off the mortgage. In fact, lots of people who could easily pay off their mortgage, don't. I'm not sure about Australia, but in the US a mortgage comes with a generally low interest rate and tax breaks. It's some of the cheapest money you can borrow. It would be better to have 200k invested and making money while you continue to pay your monthly house note plus a little extra. Keep an open equity line of credit on the house, and use that to purchase things …

I spent a good part of my life in the construction trades and I can curse like a sailor. It may actually be required to say some form of "fuck" before every other word in a sentence when you're working on a job site. "Fucking go to the fucking truck and fucking get the fucking chop saw... and hurry the fuck up so we can fucking get the fuck out of here." You're already there. Give it a shot. Some of the best opportunities happen when you're out of your comfort zone. Sure, it would have been better to have a plan, but you already made the impulsive choice. It may not have been the best course of action for you, but it's action, and it's better than sitting around on your ass and hoping something changes. Good Luck.

I'm pretty sure that if I told my girl that I'd fuck her until she screamed moaning while I was sucking on her toes, she'd be over in about 15 minutes. As far as beating her, if we're talking a little light choking and a little light smacking around during sex, you could probably drop her ETA by another 5 minutes, because she'd be running red lights. She may say she wants a nice guy, but what she really wants is a man who knows how to be a man. Confident, decisive, and physical. Pick her up and …

The original post stated that you believe that a woman can "offer the kind of love you want." I still disagree. I don't want different. I don't want temporary, and I don't want conditional. Saying that a woman can say the same about a man's love in some ways does not, in any way, add validity to your earlier statement. Yes, a guy can reach some type of compromise and see the relationship for what it is, but it doesn't mean it's the love he wants.

I don't think so. I think some men have certain preferences and fetishes. I'm more equal opportunity. I'm currently dating a blue-eyed blonde, 5'8". The girl before her was a black haired, brown-eyed half Fillipina girl at all of 5'1. My ex wife was a tall, green-eyed red head. I do have my preferences, asians, latinas, petite girls... but I seriously don't have a single type. It's like a buffet, might as well sample the dishes.

It's not your business, and he's in for a big life change regardless since he's married and having a kid. He's going to have to adjust to a new reality, and maybe he'll bounce back to his old self after that, or maybe he won't. Either way, his new reality is going to take up a shit-ton of his time, and some change is inevitable.

I know TRP wisdom says a woman cannot offer you the sort of love you want. I think that they can, but it is conditional and does not last forever Yeah. That's what makes it different, and also what makes it less than what men want. In almost every survey of what men are looking for in a relationship, respect, trust, sexual intimacy, and loyalty come up somewhere in the top 6 or 7 things. TRP teaches you that you have to maintain frame and set solid boundaries to keep a woman's respect. Trust see…

Kudos! I concur. I've heard on this sub numerous times people ask if they can just teach themselves to code and get jobs. Though it's possible, it's probably the least likely route. Being a programmer isn't just coding. Be careful, depending on your state and what happens, that can be pretty darn illegal in it's own right... Is this true? How does the law differentiate between a GoPro on your nightstand and a $50 wifi-security camera? Seems like a fine line.

You might be over thinking it. Dread, or competition anxiety, basically just comes from you demonstrating higher value, especially when your SO tends to get comfortable or complacent in the relationship. Get in better shape, dress better, widen you social circle. You can argue the fact that heavy-handed, or overt dread shouldn't be necessary if you continually demonstrate high value. Obviously, there may be times where you need to practice overt dread game, but generally it's in response to some…

To even make it more absurd that DSC is funded that heavily, 2 of their 3 razors are made by Dorco, and you can get them in bulk from China (or maybe it's S.Korea) for something like 1/2 to 1/3 of what DSC charges. Well, I'm not 100% in the no contact camp. You don't want to write novels via text, but in the same token, there's a rule of 2/3. If she's texting you, then text back. There are some guys on here who swear by text game. Search the posts for text game. If that's what you have to work with for now, you might as well get some pointers. Show less interest than she does. When you do reply to her texts, keep your texts flirty and fun, and keep working on the logistics for a meetup. If you're making pl…

It's not necessarily bullshit on the financial side, at least here in the states (with a few caveats) Studies show that two people can live together at somewhere around 65-75% of what it would cost them to live separately. Assuming that both partners work, each being able to save 25% more of their income over time is a huge financial advantage. There are other factors as well. Married people pay less in auto insurance, get tax breaks, hang out at home more and tend to spend less on entertainment…

Don't get me wrong, I admire that you are wanting to fix it. I'm just unsure what I can suggest as far as turning it around. The big part is that you want to fix it. Find the audio book for "No More Mr. Nice Guy." I wish you luck. You might be able to turn it around, but it will take a lot of patience and commitment on your part. You'll get frustrated, because you can't really be overt about anything. Hopefully, even if things don't work out, you'll know what to do next time around.

It's not a one-time slip up, it's a pattern of insecurity/mate guarding. You can't play like you don't give a fuck. You actually have to not give a fuck. What is it about you that you have to get into an argument about somebody calling late to have her pick up a shift? I'm not sure of the way to pitch it to him, because the dynamic of your SO pointing out that you're not the same guy she fell for is a bit of a kick in the balls. No guy wants to hear that he's a pussy whipped bitch and that his girl, who he's changed everything for... who's requested, and begged, and thrown fits to get him to change, now wants him to change back because she doesn't get wet for him anymore. I guess that comes down to how well you trust your plates and/or significant others. Whether or not you hate condoms isn't really the point. Condom use and safe disposal are the ONLY way you actually have control over the reproductive process. You're putting a lot of trust in a woman, which might be more warranted in an established LTR, but definitely not if we're talking about spinning up plates. You're basically trusting a plate not to fuck around, get an STD and give it to you, AND trusting t…

If it wasn't for the fact that it keeps happening, I'd say that you've just had a bunch of shitty managers. I'm curious as to what industry you work in, because I work in cyber security and it's almost the total opposite. There's a difference between being alpha and being an asshole. Furthermore, at work there's an established hierarchy that you should attempt to fit into, especially in your place of employment. Think Law 38: Think as you like, but behave like others. There have been posts here about trying to out-Alpha the boss, or other seriously career damaging moves. Being mysterious doesn't mean not sharing at all. Just don't hijack the conversation and spend all night talking about yourself. When you do talk about yourself, keep it light and fun. Provide just enough details to carry on a normal and interesting conversation. You can say a lot without saying a lot. Hell, you can tell stories about something fun/funny. Just don't go into detail about exes, past partners, income, and give your fucking life story.

It's true that red flags can apply to any kind of relationship, yet they're often not the same red flags. Crazy is crazy regardless, and don't stick your dick in crazy. That being said, for most people, plate status doesn't require as rigorous a vetting as does a GF/LTR. Divorced, non-exclusive, high n-count, single mom... depending on what you're looking for, all can be plates, but any one of those things could/would/should drop them from GF/LTR consideration. I don't actually consider that a shit test. That's an honest question and how you handle it is all on you. Other questions that will come up is whether you and your LTR have an open relationship, etc. Some women won't get involved with a married/attached guy, some will. Operant conditioning is normal human behavior. Calling it operant conditioning doesn't change that. Case in point, my son doesn't do his homework, so I take away his XBox One for the week. Action/Consequence You forget your wife's birthday, she doesn't talk to you for 3 days. Action/Consequence. It's the way things work. TRP just puts it out there in the open. First things first. If she has the baby, your first step is getting a paternity test. Get legal council, and work with council to see if you can come up with an agreement out of court. Your legal council will be able to tell you the amount for your province. Canada has lookup tables based on income and number of dependent kids for each province. It doesn't hurt to try to negotiate a settlement lower than the prescribed amount. As far as overtime is concerned, it's a bit tricky. Perhaps cut back …

Interesting debate, but when it comes down to it, conditioning is natural and is a built in survival mechanism. Conditioning isn't intrinsically bad or immoral in and of itself, and one could argue the fact that conditioning isn't manipulation, it's just the natural stimulus/response mechanism. Operant and classical conditioning are two different predictable and reliable processes in which people (or animals) come to reflect the order of the environment around them. Classical conditioning refers…

If she wants to keep it, that's pretty much it. Obviously, get a paternity test. As far as what to expect for child support payments, it is totally dependent on what you make. Let's say you make $50k, you can ballpark your payments at somewhere between $400-500 a month depending on what province you live in. She could always change her mind. "We had a strong agreement to terminate the pregnancy." means absolutely nothing. How about having a strong set of precautions not to get pregnant? You basi…

Pretty much the standard way. I started working towards a bachelors in Computer Science, and then later I switched my focus to Information Assurance. By my third year of school I was working paid internships for security companies, and continued to do so up until graduation, at which point I was hired on full time. If you want to work IT/Security for DoD or most other agencies, you'll need a degree. DoD goes a step further and requires a CISSP for most security jobs. Sorry, no real way around it…

My perspective? You verify through DNA testing that it's your kid. After that, do what works for the situation and what YOU want. Different people will do different things, some guys will try the family route, some guys will fight for their equal but separate custody, and some guys will sign away parental rights and have nothing to do with the kid. Hell, some guys will ghost and try to get out of the responsibility all together. Your reasons for what you do after you get her pregnant are your ow…

Yeah, I'm a cyber security guy, and I don't mention RP stuff. FWIW, none of the cyber guys in my group are fat, and none are introverted or socially stunted incels. We do government agency work, including DoD and quite a few are ex-military, so maybe that's the difference. Don't buy into the stereotypes. Lift, don't get fat, and don't worry about what the recruiter tells you. Keep to yourself about the RP stuff at work, and keep your work and personal life separate.

Dude... tons of subs ban people who post in TRP. It would almost be easier to list the ones that won't ban you. SJW and PC moderators, ban bots, and the like. It's kind of like firewall rules... blacklisting vs. white listing. Seriously might be easier listing the ones that won't ban you. There is more than one story of redditors being banned from subs they've never even posted in, so take that for what it is. Preemptive bans are apparently a thing, too.

It depends, though legally it's up to the mother. The child usually takes the last name of the father listed on the birth documentation, but you can't force this, even if the child is yours and you acknowledge that the child is yours on the birth form. The Supreme Court ruled that illegitimate children’s use of the father’s name is discretionary. Even if the biological father acknowledges his illegitimate children, he cannot force them to use his surname.

Get out, be social... don't just hang with the CS crowd. Go to your college's sporting events, pregame, post game. Just get out and meet people. The first few weeks at school are the most important. People are creatures of habit... the social connections you make in the first few weeks of school will …

I guess it depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you have no issues with PIED and you're just doing it for the other benefits, testosterone, better approach, breaking the instant gratification mindset, just go NoFap for awhile and see how it works for you. If you have PIED issues then you have to be more drastic about it. The best place to ask that would be in /r/NoFap

I do volunteer work and charity work. It has nothing to do with showing weakness. We've had family members who've gotten surgeries free of charge from Shriner's Hospital for Children. You basically have kids in a hospital for months at a time, seeing their families only occasionally. There are tons of things you can do to make it more pleasant for them. Donate toys, see how your group can do social events or demonstrations for the kids. Very cool way to spend an hour a week. It can be anything, …

It takes more than just reading, and it's pretty much impossible to make wide sweeping changes in how you react to different situations. People operate on their default mode and react how they react. In embracing something like TRP you have to start taking inventory of how you respond to different stimuli and different situations, determine if you need to make a change, and then implement that change. It takes time, it takes perseverance, and it takes focus. One of the best things I found was to…

My only question is why are you in a LTR? You're not in a LTR, or at least not a traditional LTR... there's apparently no loyalty on either side, there's trust issues (going through her phone,) she hides things from you, you hide things from her, at least you - but probably both of you - are fucking other people. Just like he can only do him, you can only do you. If it's a deal breaker for you that his quality of life diminishes and you end up bearing the brunt of his care, or the household responsibilities, or whatever because of his inability or refusal to act on this matter, then you have a say in what happens. That say is limited to what you will or won't do based on each decision. We always tell men to determine where their boundaries lie and to stick to them. Let me qualify this by making it clear …

It does work, but you have to be networking all the time. Depending on your field, and how in demand your skill set is, sometimes it's easier than others. Make it a habit to ask people that you meet socially what they do and if their company is hiring. Many companies have incentive programs, my social contact who recommended me for my current job got a $2k bonus when I signed on.

That is entirely possible. I'm an engineer, not a armored car guy, but you would expect that if they want things like that reported, a reputable company would address that as company policy, published rules of behavior, or process (ie. having a touch-base with supervisor at the start of a shift), which means it should be addressed in new hire intake and in training. The interview process is not a place for the interviewee to have to interpret unspoken company policy. i.e. an applicant's correct …

I thought the 3 second rule had to do with dropping food on the floor. Whenever I find myself in an appropriate situation, bus, plane, social event, I tend to talk to whoever. Being perceived as friendly and social across the board works in your favor when actually approaching someone you're interested in.

If things are good, and she doesn't think marriage is necessary, then save yourself a lot of heartache and don't do it. Marriage can change a lot of things, and it's not fallacy that some women quit trying as hard once they get the commitment. I'm not saying that this is the case for the two of you, just take it for what it is. Keep improving, keep leading, and don't try to fix what doesn't need fixing for the sake of a few dollars. In situations like this I generally lean towards a soft 'next' and let them get in touch with you. If there's interest, then they will. Keep chatting up and meeting other girls. IDGAF is your friend right now. Even though the one said she was busy this week, and the other said "maybe" about today, one truism that always comes up is that if a girl is interested, she'll make the time and effort to hang. That't the thing, she wasn't your girlfriend then. I can understand that you aren't looking to have a long term relationship with a whore, but you're going to extremes when you're talking about "fucking randso every week." There are a decent percentage of women who have been in a handful of long term relationships. The spectrum isn't whore or virgin, there's a ton of grey area in between. I don't understand the whole 'hating women' thing. Sure, most have traits that make them unsuited for long term relationships, particularly with someone who doesn't understand them at the level that's talked about here. Embrace that they are emotional, hypergamous, incapable of real love, etc. and go with it. Put yourself and your goals first. Watch what she does and not what she says. Post college? If a girl hasn't given it up through college, then it's either one of three things. Programming is one of those things that you can get a gist of by teaching yourself, but (IMO) would benefit from taking classes. When starting out, most programmers think in linear terms, as in they write scripts or programs that process in a linear fashion. It's relatively easy to teach yourself to code like that. Think Perl, Python, bash scripting. It gets more difficult when you make the jump into object oriented programming, defining classes, inheritance, multi-dimensional arrays. Another th…

It doesn't matter how badly you want to be with a woman if that woman doesn't want to be with you. It doesn't get any simpler than that. Personally, for me, those are the easiest kind of breakups. It doesn't take long to get that, "Fuck her, it's her loss." mindset. You're at a significant disadvantage if you don't see the need to embrace social interaction just for the sake of being social. The one thing to realize above anything else is that you can't go back and undo anything you did before. This is the biggest thing about self-actualization. When a moment has passed, it's gone. Suspicious hubby follows her to your meetup and all the MMA shit in the would won't help you dodge a bullet. Do what you want, but be a little more realistic about the risks involved with banging a married chick. There are a lot of relationships I've had that have run their course for whatever reason... bad timing, logistics, whatever. There are several where if it wasn't for the situation, the relationship would have lasted longer. It's perfectly fine to feel a sense of loss when you transition from one life event to another, especially at the end of a fun and fulfilling relationship. Most people would. The best way to deal with it is to acknowledge your feelings, but then remind yourself that this won'…

So, your family would tell the girl you're dating that you cheated on your ex-wife? Do they not like you or something? What kind of a dick-move is that? It's all about what you want to tell her. "we grew apart" or "we got married too young" or whatever you want, and follow that up with, "I don't dwell on the past." Trust me, she has shit she's not proud of, either. No need to dredge it all up. When the time comes, show her the same respect, though.

"I won't be in a LTR with someone who keeps in touch with her ex." is exactly the same thing as saying "If you talk to your ex again, we're done." Ultimatum: If you keep doing x, then y is going to happen. A boundary is when you don't place a consequence that occurs as a direct result of an action. If you're just trying to set a boundary, then you say something like: "I don't believe that a girl in an exclusive relationship should stay in touch with her ex. That's probably not the right play. You're being overly controlling, and now, you're doing it publicly, in a group setting. i.e. People talk. Groups of friends talk even more. Everybody at trivia will know that you trivia-blocked your GF. You're basically putting your personal shit and your insecurities out there to your entire group of friends to talk about. That goes against everything TRP. You're supposed to be a confident, stoic, amused mother-fucker who's above this kind of manufactured dra…

If you hang out in a group, it seems inevitable that your circle of friends and hers will overlap. I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish by trying to keep that from happening. My honest advice to you would be to quit trying to control things, and more importantly, quit trying to control people. At the end of the day, all you can do is worry about yourself. Let's approach this from a different angle. Since you already have plans and are busy that evening, what WOULD you be comfortable with her doing while you're out? If you're not comfortable with her going to a trivia night (public event, usually for a charity, usually over at a relatively early hour, involves a group of friends-a lot of witnesses to anything that happens since there are usually 8 or 10 people at each table) the list of things you ARE comfortable with is probably pretty short. wha…

I'm going to tell you to read "the power of now" for a couple of reasons. It's probably one of the absolute best books for getting out of your emotional headspace and achieving a more calm and stoic sense of self. If you really want to reach a point where very little effects your mood or your sense of self, read the book and actively practice disconnecting your sense of self from the stream of consciousness narrative that constantly flows through your head. Seriously, I shit you not. Just do it.

Outcome independence, actions not words, and the rule of 2/3. First off, you need to not worry about it if she doesn't text you back right away. You're not in any type of relationship yet, and you've only been texting her for 2 weeks. Pay attention to what she does, not what she says. Acta non verba. Big fan of TPON. I had a huge epiphany when reading that book when I realized that the ongoing narrative in my head (read: male hamestering) did not define who I was. Good discussion. First off, I guess it depends on what you mean by religious. If religious is just a belief in some higher power then, it's more common than not. There's a little bit of that, being your first and all, but combine that with the fact that you specifically said you're not ready to settle, are trying to avoid a case of oneitis, and that she's already pushing for exclusivity. The general prescription for oneitis is abundance mentality. So, if you meant what you said, the play would probably be refrain from exclusivity... Uploading the picture is definitely better than texting her the picture, but both moves are just different levels of the wrong move. Dread is not so overt or obvious. You lack subtlety. Better to have her wonder what you're doing than rub something in her face. Cutting is both lowering your caloric intake and limiting high glycemic carbs, but that shouldn't be much of an issue at 16. You can probably just get away with cutting sugar out of your diet and lose some fat just by doing that. If you want to speed up the process, eat healthy food. Think vegetables, lean protein, and good fats. There's a saying that abs are made in the kitchen, and another that says you can't train away a shitty diet. There are a plethora of sites that offer good advice for ea…

I'm ok with walking away when things aren't how I want them to be. Your post captures it pretty well though. There are always some positive things about each one that make you wonder if it's the right decision. Case in point, one woman who I totally enjoy spending time with I had to drop because the situation with her ex was just too much drama, and she has some things she still needs to work on. That being said, I can't help but think it's a damn shame at times.

Look up Shawn Achor's TED talk about happiness and success. It's pertinent in quite a few ways.

Thanks for this. I'm very picky as far as standards go. It's often my current desire not to be in a LTR that is the reason that relationships have a limited life span. I'm just not ready yet (2 years after marriage ended) to have a serious, monogamous LTR, much less get involved with a woman whose intent is to marry. Edit: Spelling and punctuation

You either misunderstood me, or you're choosing to be negative. I was making the statement that the Balinese guys hitting up the tourists get to practice approaching these women all day every day. They get to learn what works and what doesn't, and they know that even if they strike out, more women will be along in a few minutes, so they have the perfect "don't give a fuck" attitude. Desperation is a huge turn off.

does this really work? I would think that just feeling idiotic by doing this twice a day would make you more cognizant of your posture.

google "rational male" together with "frame" read the article. "frame is an often subconscious, mutually acknowledged personal narrative under which auspices people will be influenced. One’s capacity for personal decisions, choices for well-being, emotional investments, religious beliefs and political persuasions (amongst many others) are all influenced and biased by the psychological narrative ‘framework’ under which we are most apt to accept as normalcy."

What the actual fuck? I'm not sure where to even begin... Suicidal, homicidal... I'm not overly sure women love Balinese or Thai men more than anybody else. They're traveling and using that as just another reason to ride the CC. Add to that, these guys have an endless supply of tourists to game... talk about abundance mentality and practice makes perfect... get shot down, the next tourists will be along in about 3 minutes. The bigger issue is that you have to work with what you have. So, you're …

"My days consist of me playing video games and smoking weed." Stop that shit immediately. Maybe it's not the same for everyone, but I can't smoke up without losing all motivation. If you want to build an abundant lifestyle, seriously, motivation will be the hardest part. You're going to need to focus on career, self-improvement, etc. and that's hard to do when you don't feel like doing anything. Wake and bake is not a lifestyle that leads to making gains. Take the weed, stripper, and coke money …

I'm 48 and I routinely date in the 28-32 range, and semi-LTR. The last 2 women I've dated for a year or more have both been about 17 years younger.

He definitely has an IDGAF attitude and yeah, he can hold frame like a boss. For 99.9% of what he does, that's not only sufficient, but quite successful. I'm just curious about when/if he goes to trial, how his frame is going to be interpreted by a panel of jurors. Maybe he can figure out how to hold frame like a boss in the prison shower.

Well, it depends. I'm not sure I'd listen to him on investment advice as the OP states "Don't take stock picks from a guy who hasn't made at least $50m." since in his indictment "He is accused of repeatedly losing money for investors and lying to them about it, illegally taking assets from one of his companies to pay off debtors in another." So, in effect, he fucked up, and instead of manning up about it, he started screwing investors in another company to cover his bad investments in the first.…

Not really sure that you should take advice from a guy who went in front of congress and spent all day pleading the fifth, and who is currently under pending indictment for securities fraud... but hey.

I personally don't think that "don't shit where you eat" applies to a class that lasts a semester. If she's still in your class, show some interest and ask her out. If you're still hesitant, approach her anyway and let her at least know that you're interested.

It's not feel-good bullshit. This is the attitude that you have to cultivate: I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. Michael Jordan

Another thing you can try is higher weight/shorter sets. Bump up your weight and start doing 5x5's with the same focus. If you hit your sets, push the weight up in the next rotation. If you're trying to do both, bulk and cut, you're going to have a harder time than if you do them separately. To get muscle growth you have to feed yourself. A lot of people in the bulk stage eat 6 meals a day. Eat clean, with plenty of protein. Seriously, cut out the cardio. If you lift heavy you'll get the benefit…

Women want commitment, however loyalty isn't a female trait. Women initiate the vast majority of divorces, etc. You could argue the fact that a woman wanting commitment is misrepresenting the situation. In truth, a woman pushing for commitment is being unfair to the man, since later on she'll fuck around, branch swing, or dump his ass. It's not unfair if you can get sex without commitment from a woman. You're actually doing her a favor and recognizing her inherent hypergamy.

Just some suggestions. 1) cut back on the cardio when bulking... ramp it up when you're cutting. 2) How often are you increasing your workout weights and what kind of sets are you doing? Just going through the motions or are you truly pushing yourself? To bulk, any time you max your sets the previous workout, you should be adding weight to keep forcing muscle growth. If you fail at maxing your sets, then stay at that weight for your next rotation.

She's a plate. Occasionally plates drop. So, since you don't have issues with lies, tell her you fucked up and really meant to be exclusive. Best play though is to let it go and see what happens. If she wants to fuck you, she will. If you screwed it up beyond repair, then if nothing else, it's a lesson.

Keep making that conscious effort. FWB =/= exclusive, at least that's the general consensus. Your definition may vary. You're having issues. If it's a deal breaker with you, then don't date her. It's pretty simple. The conflict is in your head. The actual act is over and done. It sounds a lot to me like you need to work on mindfulness. You can't do anything about the past. Decide what you want in the 'now,' and if what you want is a girl who didn't fuck another guy when you were in a FWB situati…

You do you. Look at the situation as you present it. 1) You have over $10k additional income if you move. 2) You have room and board. 3) You've been with the girl for 12 weeks. 4) You're already questioning "what if it doesn't work. (odds are it won't) 5) She has a history of mental illness. You already know what's best for you. Take the cash. Go back to school. Work on yourself. Enjoy college. Meet more girls. It's the only real play.

Look at it like this... if you go into a "relationship" with the idea that the girl will probably have some issues, baggage, not be totally compatible... whatever... it makes it harder to get all wrapped up in that "oh my god, this girl is the one" frame of mind. The difficulty comes when you're in the moment and everything is fucking fantastic, and perhaps the next day, and the next day as well. It's easy to slide back down that slope into BP hell unless you keep telling yourself that "somebody…

I do. Maybe it's because I like the tradition. Hell, I don't know. A University of Chicago study in 2014 put the percentage of people who believe in a god at nearly 60%, with only something like 5% identifying as agnostic. I'm an engineer, and I'd say more than half of the engineers I work with believe in some higher power. Interesting that I have no issues with RP theory, and yes, I realize that by the morality of my faith, my interactions with women are a bit of a dichotomy. To each his own.

Maybe. I've never been able to swing the "you be exclusive while I do what I want" deal. I've had girls who I don't think had anything else going on the side, but I didn't look into it because I didn't ask for them to be exclusive. If you can pull it off, more power to you. I think in most cases if you throw the vibe out there that you want a girl to be exclusive, she's going to expect the same.

It happens. It really is about cultivating the abundance mentality... the BP indoctrination runs deep. So deep that even when I know better, there is that occasional girl... maybe the sex is crazy, maybe she just seems to get you and her personality resonates with everything about you... maybe it's the way she makes you feel like you're that special. It happens, and sometimes I get caught up in that for a little bit until things go a little sideways. Usually I catch myself early enough that I ca…

She sounds like plate material, and not LTR material. "She now has a long term boyfriend..." and yet she's contacting you wanting to get together. Can you trust her? No. Not all relationships should be avoided. I actually am a fan of LTRs, but this is not the girl for a LTR.

You're never too old for night game. I'm 48. You just change where you go. I travel on business and a current girl I see on the East Coast is 31. We met when I was out with some work acquaintances after a vendor meeting. Game is game. See a girl you find interesting and go talk to her. This girl and I have seen each other every time I've been out East since October, and that's about every 2 or 3 weeks. She even flew in to see me once. Just hang out where people your age hang out. "I keep thinking about making an ass out of myself..." Well, if that's what you're focusing on, then you can be pretty sure that is how it's going to play out. Imagine yourself being confident and relaxed. Try to get rid of the outcome dependence. You're hanging out with a cute 19 year old. Have fun. Escalate if you're feeling it. Get out of your head and get into the moment and just enjoy yourself.

You're annoyed about some dude she fucked before you met her, or you're annoyed because she didn't tell her friend? Either way, what the fuck do you have to be annoyed about? How should you react? Simple. Don't. It's none of your business. The whole principle of "she's not yours, it's just your turn" seems to be lost on you. Enjoy the girl, and make the most of it while you have the chance. I couldn't even imagine getting worked up over some shit like that.

She wants affection, and you don't even want to hold her hand? To get an IDGAF attitude, the first part is to not GAF. Obviously that's not the case, so your IDGAF attitude is just bullshit. Either truly don't give a fuck, or date the girl if you want to, but to think that a girl is just going to hang out for your scraps and a one day a week visit and not look for something else is pure stupidity. If you want to plate her, plate her. If you want her to be exclusive, then you have to establish so…

Not this. Don't burn bridges. Don't get in a pissing match with your boss. Bring your class schedule, and give it to your boss. Tell him that you value your privacy and that you made a judgement error. You realize that in asking for a shift change, they have the right to verify that it's for a legitimate reason. They also have the right to say no. Getting into an argument with a supervisor is probably the best way to ensure that they aren't flexible with your schedule. Also, there's going to be …

The best way to see results in the gym is to lift heavy, and get on a program. Download the STRONGLIFTS 5x5 app for your smartphone and just follow it. Add isolation exercises if you want to target an area. There are a lot of people that will give you other programs to try. I like STRONGLIFTS to start because it is not overwhelming... it's idiot proof, and if you follow it, you will definitely see results. At the beginning, keep it simple, but structured. Although you're trolling, I'll take a second and answer anyway. Sure there's some whining on TRP. Have you read any other forums? It's no worse, and perhaps better than some forums in the fact that along with (some) crappy field reports and vitriolic rants, there are true gems of wisdom that any man can use to empower themselves. The value in TRP comes in encouraging men to be outcome independent. TPR preaches personal growth. The real message isn't one of anger... unless you're reading a post f…

I'm a big fan of the emotional connection with women. Here's the big thing... emotional is fine. It's two people connecting for a moment on a totally different level. If you like that, go with it. There are some people who feel nothing emotionally for a person that they have sex with. That's a little too extreme for me. LTR, FWB... you're supposed to feel something. ONS, random plate... maybe not so much. Just don't get into this -we shared a moment and now this girls is 'the one.' Sex with no e…
