My plan is to stay in this position around 3 years and see how it goes. I agree with you about the CTO and Project manager. I did before the 50 hour weeks, I traveled to do knowledge transfer in the past and I enjoyed it a lot. I think that my weak points right now are the long term goals and, as mentioned in another comment, convert these goals to smaller pieces for my team to deliver. In Spain you can get to pay alimony only if certain things happen, like your ex-wife never worked while married. But you only have to pay it for limited time, couple of years if I'm not wrong. Same here, I took my own way while I was still married with a kid, but decided that no one has power over me than myself.
