He obviously wants to be FWB with this girl - you said it's not a good idea and he tried to defend it. I say give it a try. People are different I know 18 year olds that are very mature and level headed and I know 40 year olds that act like they're 12. Give it a chance.

That's why you can have some canned openers or just comment on the weather or something like that.

What you said makes a lot of sense. Plus you're right - I need to work much more before I start giving advice:) Going to downvote myself now.

Try the three second rule. Just go up to them and start talking. What's the worst that can happen? They might tell you to fuck off or slap you - big deal.

Mystery was saying how moving targets are very hard because you're supposed to start moving in their direction, get in front of them and then open from your shoulder - I think that's one thing you could've done. Another is to stop her and ask for directions and then try to move the conversation forward from there - I actually tried that yesterday and she stopped and gave me directions, but she left right after that cuz I still suck at conversations and I couldn't think of a topic fast enough :( …

You know I thought about that too, but it's not really how you show the interest it's more about how much interest you show, and when you show it. In other words nothing is going to save you if you show too much interest even in the most interesting and funny way - you're still going to lose value and lose attraction. I think the key is showing interest as a reward - when she complies with you, or when she shows interest herself - that way you're conditioning her to do it again. Also you need to…

Well for example after talking about chest hair I told my target "So how hairy do you like your men?" in order to make the conversation about sex. And she smiled and said different in different locations. And I immediately replied "Be precise. I have a shaving kit btw." Which was funny and she laughed, but at the same time I lost value, because I basically told her I was willing to shave for her:) So the principle mistake that I kept making over and over is that I sacrificed my value in order to…

Thanks for the pointers man. It wasn't that early - it's a pretty popular club and it was almost full already. There was a line already too:) Thanks. I'm too much of an AFC yet so I almost do it by habit. This one was really apparent - they were very warm to me and everything was going great and when I did that they instantly left. That's a great advice - thanks. I didn't even think about that. I got a drink from it, but I should've bartered longer like you said. It's the AFC attitude again and …

It sounds like the exact opposite of what any wingman should be doing - almost as if he was pissed cuz you were doing so good and wanted to ruin it.

It's also possible that you're showing too much interest when approaching - I've gotten ignored when I've done that.

This actually happened to me too about a week ago. I'm a reasonably attractive guy and I get checked out by girls. So I went to the store and got a six pack. While going through the beer isle I saw these two girls that checked me out. They came to me and said they're from not from the US and they were wondering if they can buy one beer instead of a six pack. I just told them "Well I'm not sure but you can always try to do it." I should've told them I can share my beers with them if they want to …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
