Like the title says this is really my first practice run so don't judge too hard.

I went out to a club where I was going to meet my friends. I went 1 hour before they arrived purposefully so I can practice solo. I went in line and started a conversation with a guy so I can get into a talkative mood. There were two guys in front of me in line and they left at one point. One HB6 IOI'd me and then she asked her friend "What do you look at in a guy first?" and I said "Wait I want to hear that too." They laughed and the set was open - one more HB6 and a HB7. The HB7 forgot her ID so she left :( We talked while waiting in line and we got in the club together. I kept leaving and going back to that first set - that actually made them like me a lot, but at some point they just left. I used the opener about what's the favorite part in a guy on several sets and I opened them all. Got some good conversations, but I couldn't close anything. Then I switched to a different opener and kept opening sets like crazy. There was one where there were about 10 girls who had a bachelorette party and I opened that and spoke with them for 20 mins - my target was leaving for Chicago next day tho plus I showed too much interest (I think I did that all the time) so I lost her even tho we had great connection at first :/ The bride to be also did one of her tasks for the night - she plucked one of my chest hairs:P

I also opened a set with a HB9 from Dubai - again showed too much interest and they left for the dancing even tho we had good connection.

My last set was another bachelorette party and I basically didn't have to do anything just walked up to them, said "Hi" and they were leading the conversation from that on. I switched targets at one point and started kinoing another girl and both targets left - so that's an important lesson (it's common sense really) NEVER switch your target.

Also I noticed that as I was smoking more I got increasingly negative response so no smoking while I'm picking up from now on.

Oh my friends arrived at some point, but I was having so much fun that I talked with them for a little and kept going for different sets, without using a wingman.

Overall I had tons of fun and I learned a lot so I consider this a success even tho I didn't close anything.

Any advice on how to DHV more? I think that was the worst part of my game - I had good conversations and we laughed a lot, but the interest just fizzled after a little.

Any other comments, suggestions etc?
