Only because modern society is broken. If you look at the Amish, the healthy adults absolutely do look after the elderly. They don't even pay into Social Security. The Amish also don't fit your definitions of left or right. Mothers are tremendously supported by the community. That's how they can average seven kids without going mad. While the average liberal mom is driving her only child to ten extra curricular activities so he can get into the Ivy League, the Amish mom is just letting her seven…

Kids also were working and therefore a source of income Yes it's the incentives. Also without Social Security, kids are who looks after you in retirement. By socializing retirement, we create free riders who expect to be looked after by other people's kids while producing none of their own.

Less individualist society. And yet, Japan's birth rate is crashing even harder than America's.

People were incredibly kind, helpful, and just generally sweet and friendly towards my children when I was in Mexico and Italy. Less individualist society. And yet, Italy's birth rate is crashing even harder than America's.

https://www.fda.gov/about-fda/fda-history-exhibits/frances-oldham-kelsey-medical-reviewer-famous-averting-public-health-tragedy researchers in Germany and Australia linked thalidomide to clusters of rare, severe birth defects—hands and feet projecting directly from the shoulders and hips—that eventually were shown to involve thousands of babies. The drug was never marketed in the U. S. The drug was never approved in the US because they saw it causing defects in Germany and Australia.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/25 06:57 PM

Why do you think the FDA didn't approve thalidomide? Because they saw it causing defects in Europe. Americans benefited from testing on Europeans first.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/25 06:44 PM

what else is there to care about? Lots of things. I support equal drug testing, but I think equal Selective Service is more important. Because it's fair, safe, and makes sense.

The US benefited from testing on pregnant European women, which caused birth defects.

That's not at all what I was saying. I'm saying that feminism would be more popular if it admitted that there's also a lot of gender discrimination against men and had a stated goal of fighting all gender discrimination. Instead it downplays all sexism against men and says only sexism against women should be fought. And then when that turns off potential supporters, instead of reconsidering its approach, it doubles down on calling those potential supporters "misogynist".
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/25 06:34 PM

Right, sexism is just believing that men and women should be treated differently. Most men and most women have some degree of sexism. Misogyny is specifically hatred of women. Saying that all sexism is misogyny is a fallacy, because a lot of it is motivated by hatred of men as much as of women. For example all the "men in women's bathrooms" trans scares are clearly rooted in fear of men, because there's no equivalent "women in men's bathrooms" scare.

So if the person you want to be with says "no" you'd rather burn society down?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 12:03 AM

men would most likely to gain chance at procreation by impressing the women through impressive achievements such as hunting big game or winning a battle. So even in matriarchal societies, men faced "patriarchal pressures" to hunt and fight. Funny considering a lot of feminists claim "men invented gender roles"

For biological fathers, as long as you go through the paternity determination process, you are guaranteed to be on that birth certificate regardless of what the mother wants. Not really if the mom just has the baby in another state and leaves you off the certificate it would be very hard to track her down and assert your rights. She could even put the baby up for adoption without your consent. Utah is well known for facilitating that. Go onto a sub like TwoX and say "I'm pregnant and want to giv…

men have the additional right of not being automatically listed on birth certificates That's not really the man's "right" lol it's mostly the woman's decision whether a man is listed or not. "Men have the right for their baby mama not to list them on the birth certificate" That would be like making abortion legal but the husband decides whether or not his wife has one. And calling that a woman's "right". "You have the right for your husband to let you have an abortion"

Women already have this option, it's called Safe Haven laws. You can just leave the father off the birth certificate and legally abandon the baby to the hospital, no questions asked.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/25 09:39 PM

A man should not be able to financially "abort" a woman who has no means to get an abortion. If both parents financially abort that's just equivalent to giving the baby up for adoption. Which is already allowed.

Okay but if a woman has to give birth in a red state (let's assume from sex she willingly consented to) and then feels bitter about having to raise a kid she didn't want, would you blame her? Would you tell her she's not allowed to feel that way and should just step up and parent? If she wants to give the kid up for adoption would you call her a deadbeat? If your reaction to women not wanting kids is different to men not wanting kids, you're probably biased.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 06:52 AM

I think your entire outlook is insensitive and ignorant. You're only looking at it from the perspective of how it's only going to benefit a man But the OP does the same thing, looking only at how not working hurts women. While ignoring how it puts a huge burden on the man to do all the work while his girlfriend goofs around at yoga. Jesus, imagine if there was a TikTok trend about men quitting their jobs to "go to Starbucks" while supported by their girlfriends. Feminists would have a fit!

Sperm donation is still an option. For example if you have a brother and conceive using the brother's sperm, your "kids" would be your nephews/nieces so still closely related to you by blood.

Stats show that while married men live longer and experience better mental and physical heath than single men, it's the opposite for women. /r/PurplePillDebate13/11/24 12:50 AM

It just takes one pregnancy to kill us. It's not worth it That's just your opinion. You're welcome to sterilize yourself. You're probably a disappointment to all your female ancestors though, considering you only exist because every single one of them took the risk of having babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/24 05:52 PM

When men manage women, feminists say men are oppressing women by ordering them around. When women order men around, feminists say men are still oppressing women by making them do the ordering! These cannot both be true. Please feminists, pick a lane!

Regardless of whether you live in a blue state or red state, it never hurts to call your congressional representatives and ask them what they're doing to fix (insert men's issues you care about). And tell your friends to do the same. The more people who do that, the more awareness politicians will have that it matters. Complaining online does nothing. Calling representatives is actual political action.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates06/11/24 06:59 PM

Dems have no incentive to compete on men's issues if the GOP doesn't compete on men's issues. Make the GOP compete on men's issues and the dems will follow.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates06/11/24 05:49 PM

The problem is right now, neither party supports men. GOP is in power the next four years. We should concentrate on getting Trump (and people who can get Trump's attention: Elon Musk, Joe Rogan, etc) talking about men's issues.

Wow damn. She thinks conscription doesn't exist because it doesn't happen to women.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates06/11/24 05:28 PM

So you've never heard feminists say stuff like "ACKSHUALLY homophobia is caused by misogyny, society only hates gay men because gay men act feminine and society hates femininity"? what society deems "feminine" is mocked and ridiculed in male spaces Female spaces like TwoX constantly mock everything masculine, so this sounds kinda like projection.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/24 04:55 AM
3

I call this "Trickle Down Feminism" where we focus entirely on women's problems but claim it will somehow (vaguely) solve men's problems too. Very similar to "Trickle Down Economics" where we make the rich richer and claim it helps the poor too.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/24 04:31 AM
1

Also the OP's claims that women built support networks entirely themselves is completely false. Look at RAINN the best known resource for rape victims in the US. Started by a man. Look at VAWA the laws to protect women from domestic violence. Written and passed by male lawmakers.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/24 04:25 AM
1

Progressives/feminists are concerned about women's safety, not protecting the platonic ideal of femininity. I've definitely seen feminists say stuff like "society undervalues feminine things", sounds a lot like they think femininity should be valued more.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/24 04:21 AM

But a lot of people go to therapy weekly and still seem worse off than people who don't go to therapy at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/24 08:19 PM

Exactly, a therapist isn't actually incentivized to fix your problems, because then you'd stop paying them. It's like a TV serial, they want to give you a cliffhanger so you always come back next week.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/24 08:12 PM

If I split the bill, I assume the guy isn’t interested So you're not a feminist.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/24 02:20 AM

That's what being terminally online does. Truly traditional lifestyle is very evolutionarily successful. Lots of kids. But it's not what you'd call "trad wife".
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/24 05:59 AM

Being a trad wife also means adhering to Christian principles. So other religions don't have traditions? A traditionally Muslim wife is also a traditional wife. A traditional Jewish wife. A traditional Hindu wife. Etc.

/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/10/24 11:37 PM

It's called a Motte and Bailey argument. They want to force men to help women while women do nothing in exchange. When they want men to help women ("performing emotional labor for the opposite sex") they say "feminism helps men too. So men must be feminists and help women" When they don't want women to help men ("performing emotional labor for the opposite sex") they say "feminism is for women. So feminists don't need to help men"

/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/24 09:01 PM

If you ever want to hear about misandry in the queer community - ask a trans man. The exact same people who used to support them when they were a gender non-conforming woman - and claimed to support their choice to transition, will immediately turn around and hate them for identifying as an iCky mAN.

I served in the army, too. Drafted or volunteered? I don’t think the draft should exist for anyone, though How do you think Ukraine would be doing right now if they followed your advice?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/24 05:25 AM

That has nothing to do with equal rights though. It's not like men can get abortions and women can't.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/24 05:11 AM

So men, on the whole, must largely be ok with it. Are you a man? Are you okay with being drafted based purely on which genitals you have?

I’m talking about actual feminism where women strive for equality Speaking of equality, what are your thoughts on: Men only conscription (Ukraine, South Korea, etc) Rape being defined to exclude male victims (CDC, UK, India, etc) Hermesmann v. /r/PurplePillDebate20/10/24 06:23 PM

Look up Maternal Gatekeeping, there are studies showing many women feel that parenting is "the woman's domain" so they must control everything 100% which obviously sabotages their husband's ability to parent.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/24 06:19 PM

Lol it's not that tricky, non consensual sex is always rape. Only sexists argue otherwise, in order to perpetuate rape culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/24 06:55 AM

Mary Koss was very influential in studying rape statistics and she deliberately excluded male victims because she realized there were way more than people thought and she wanted to keep the focus on women.

The raw wage gap is calculated from annual income, not hourly wage. If a stay at home mom works 2 hours/week part time on her passion project, her annual income will be compared to her husband's annual income from full time work in the raw wage gap, and used by feminists to say that women are oppressed.

If a woman is doing the childcare it’s not like the man is paying for her and it’s some privilege - she’s working as well. But it's still counted in the wage gap (he's earning a wage, she isn't) and used as proof that women are "oppressed". If you're counting single income households in the "wage gap" then it's only fair to also count the "transfer gap" where breadwinner men are transferring money to their stay at home wives, to get a more complete picture.

No, earning money is just one path to your goals, not a goal in itself. If your goal is: live a long life, have kids. Guess what, more women do those things than men. So that's female privilege.

I think a man killing an abusive woman would definitely be added to the "femicide" statistic. The statistic includes every woman's death regardless of whether she was an abuser, doesn't it?

Yeah the rotten part of that study is they deliberately didn't ask women the same question. It's well known that with leading questions on surveys you can spin data to say almost anything. I wouldn't be surprised if their initial results also found that “1/3 of women would rape if they could get away with it”, so they threw away the women respondents lol.

American prisoners are also raped by prison guards so no I don't think it's that different. You call them "felons" to dehumanize them and minimize their rape but of course statistically even some felons are innocent of the crime they were imprisoned for. That's no different than calling the Palestinian rape victim a "Hamas terrorist" to dehumanize him. If a "terrorist" doesn't deserve rape then surely "felons" don't either.

There is a politically winnable fight regarding paper abortion, but it is limited to this: Rape victims should be allowed paper abortions so they're not forced to pay child support to their rapists. You know that thousands of prisoners are also raped in American prisons every year? Of course rape of prisoners is bad, but it's not like America is on any morally higher ground here. The concept of "nuclear family" did more to depress fertility than pretty much anything else. Also the fact that people are having kids older doesn't help. Old parents mean even older grandparents and everyone just has less energy. And more people having "one and done" means fewer uncles and aunts and cousins to help out. It feels like a death spiral where the more fertility drops the more the "clan" shrinks which makes fertility drop even more.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 06:21 AM

I’m pretty sure that a woman can have money and still get child support or in the case of divorce money. It varies by state but many states use income based formulas. So whoever earns more, pays. If you earn more than your ex, you have to pay. If she earns more, she has to pay. Divorce sucks but if it has to happen, much sweeter deal to be the one who gets paid.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 06:12 AM

If the stay at home parent dies that's also hugely difficult. To replace them you have to pay for child care and cooking and cleaning. They definitely need life insurance too so you can pay for those if they die. The fact you think it's worse if the breadwinner dies just means you overvalue paid labor over home labor, which is something feminists are fighting to change.

One major downside among a lot of “traditional” marriage proponents is that traditional marriage meant the woman had to be an obedient servant to her husband. Maybe that was true in Anglo tradition but it's not universal. I'd say the constant in traditional marriage is that both wife and husband are servants of the family and of their community. If you count prisoner-guard sex as rape by the guard (due to the power dynamics) then a lot of male prisoners are raped by female guards. It might even be the majority of prison rape.

This is called the Motte and Bailey argument. It's also a bait and switch. They use the "feminism is for everyone" to pull men into the movement, then the "actually feminism is just for raising up women" to make those men do women's labor for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/24 06:06 AM

I find it interesting how a lot of MRAs and manosphere folks harp on the low birth rate. Fuck yes the birth rate is low because most of the work falls on us and if given a choice, we want to be fully integrated humans with the jobs and careers we like. I would also say that yes, culturally, motherhood is too downplayed at the expense of our reproductive window. Being a mother is one of the most amazing things a woman can do but there is no support culturally or financially and sometimes lacking …

That's completely backwards, the cheater should be the one who proves that she notified the victim she cheated. So preferably in writing. If she can't prove that, then regardless of the victim's suspicions there's a lot of social pressure for him not to say anything because it's considered terrible to make a false accusation of cheating. So he's still the victim here because he never affirmatively consented to adopt a kid he 100% knew wasn't his.

good men out there Probably a lot more than good women. How often do you hear about women voluntarily raising kids that aren't theirs? Almost never unless they adopt or become a stepmom. How often do women raise their cheating husband's kids? Much more common for men to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/24 04:40 PM

Unofficial test is step one. If the kid is yours then no need for further action. If not yours, use the unofficial test to get a confession from the cheater, divorce the cheater, and ask the court for an official test to establish non paternity.

That logic only applies if she knows that her lover is the father. She could in good faith wrongly assume that her husband fathered the child and that's not allowing him to sign it deceptively. So if a man realizes he confused the sugar with the rat poison, he can still in good faith give his wife coffee without telling her anything if he assumes it's sugar he put in. If he turns out to be wrong and she dies, that's not his fault because he made the assumption in good faith, right?

There have to be adopting parents for the adoption to do through. So by volunteering to adopt you are enabling the abandonment by the birth parent.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 09:36 PM

Wrong In Loughrin v. Superior Court courts ruled that not disclosing defects which are not visible, even when the property is sold as is holds the sellers liable. You are not permitted to contract your way out of this duty to disclose. In fact the Supreme Court has ruled on this exact same issue. Same logic here, if the woman fails to disclose her infidelity that makes her husband's signature on the birth certificate (obtained through deception) invalid.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 09:25 PM

So if you sign to buy a house and then the house collapses and it turns out the previous owner knew it would collapse but failed to disclose that fact to you - tough shit because you already signed? A signature obtained through deception is invalid.

So if a boy is diagnosed his mom will say "oh he has trouble fitting into society, because he's disabled not because of his gender" But if an autistic girl isn't diagnosed her mom will say "oh she has trouble fitting in with society, and she's not diagnosed as disabled, so it must be because society oppresses women" Confirmation bias at work. Women's problems are always "because society oppresses women", men's problems are always "this man is just defective".

Racism has many components. Talking specifically about the component of "being seen as threatening by white women", I think that's affected by multiple factors e.g being black, male, and tall, can all have an affect. On other factors eg lower earnings, being short is probably worse, given the height earnings gap.

with clothes on, passing trans men are practically indistinguishable from cis men I think if you have a group of trans men standing next to a group of cis men, you'll see that the trans group is noticeably shorter on average. Shorter black men are probably seen as less threatening.

Both men's and women's pain is dismissed in different ways. Men's pain is dismissed by, instead of treating the root causes, simply overprescribing opioids, the result being that majority of opioid epidemic deaths are men. Just because doctors are handing out opioids to men like candy, this doesn't mean men have better health outcomes than women.

Rich people typically marry other rich people. That avoids the problem of gold diggers and also prevents just one person's wealth from being divided among many kids. The main downsides of your plan are, compared to marrying someone else with equal wealth, your kids end up with half the money. And without a mom around, your kids could end up with a lack of good female role models. Imagine being a boy raised by a single mom but no dad. That's how your daughters would feel.

Don't get me wrong, I prefer dems over the GOP in general. I'm just saying we need to push dems harder, especially in local elections and in primaries, to address men's issues with the same seriousness they address women's issues. The fact that male rape victims still have to pay child support to their rapists and no legislators think that's worth changing is outrageous.

None of those are for men/boys only though, they just incidentally benefit men and boys. The health stuff isn't increased funding for everyone's health, it's only for women's health, which given women already live longer than men, is very tone deaf, since it's trying to enlarge the gender lifespan gap instead of closing it.

How does this graph handle married couples? If a couple decides to follow a traditional division of labor where the father works and the mother stays home to look after the kids, do you think her work is worthless just because it isn't directly taxed (even if it enables the father to work more hours, earn more, and pay more taxes)? That's just punishing families who choose traditional gender roles.

It's basically impossible to "overfund" men's health as long as men die younger. Spending equal amounts isn't equitable. Since men die younger, spending more on men wouldn't be "overfunding" it would be more equitable funding. As long as the gender lifespan gap persists, we should spend more on men's health. Of course, I believe in equality: we can start spending more on women if the lifespan gap ever reverses and women are dying younger instead.

Men need to come together as a voting unit first And the best way to do that is to make a voting guide for men. If you can easily share a guide with all your male friends of who does and doesn't support ending sexism in the draft etc, then it's easier for men to start voting as a bloc.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/12/23 04:15 PM

I think a lot of legislators actually do support things like a gender neutral draft because it has been written into bills several times, just not passed so far due to congressional gridlock. At the very least it would be nice to raise some awareness of these issues and get data on which legislators do support these changes. Even for legislators who don't care personally, if they want to get elected and enough constituents ask about it, then they'll start caring professionally.

I am skeptical that statistic is the full story because there is research showing that even children known to be molested by women will sometimes say "a man" molested them, because of pervasive societal bias. E.g. people may ask them leading questions assuming "a man" did it, or the child may intuit that they'll be taken less seriously if they admit the perpetrator is a woman, so they may feel pressured to pretend it was a male perpetrator to be taken seriously.

But you also say lesbians are better at pleasing women even in one night stands, so clearly there are skills, that are learnable, that facilitate this. You could literally have a course taught by lesbians.

So you believe it's impossible to learn to be better at pleasuring women, and that lesbians are simply born with women pleasuring skills that men can never possess?

Evopsych explains this. Heterosexual sex is serious business with serious consequences AKA making babies. Homosexual sex is play by comparison, good for social bonding but no chance of babies. Of course people are more willing to play casually than to make serious decisions casually.

Women know that casual sex with a ransom man isn't probably gonna make them orgasm. I doubt that's the main factor. Thought experiment: Imagine someone taught a course for men in how to pleasure women. Having a diploma from this course guarantees that a man knows how to tongue, finger and fuck any woman to completion. Would women line up to have sex with men who took the course? No! I bet most would consider it creepy and actively avoid those men.

So would you say that physically, only a minority of men and women achieve the "masculine" or "feminine" look, while the majority of men and women fail at it? Like obviously only half of men are above average height. And many women are obese rather than thin. Once you add in the other criteria you mention, surely only a minority manage to match them all.

A big part of the reason people tone it down IRL is that a lot of the stuff that gets upvoted on "progressive" subs would straight up get them fired for creating a hostile work environment for men, if they said it in the workplace and left an undeniable paper trail. Also society has domestic violence shelters because, on a societal level, some people need them. If a woman says she appreciates the existence of domestic violence shelters, does that mean she doesn't trust her husband? Similarly society should have paternity testing by default, because on a societal level, some people need it, and by its nature many of the people who need it don't know they need it, so you shouldn't rely on their having to choose it individually. Just do it collectively.

No the rate for people who suspect is 30%. The 1-10% estimate is for the general population. Every case of paternity fraud involves a woman who knew the baby may not be the man's, but didn't say anything so he wouldn't test, thereby making him pay time and money for the baby that he wouldn't have if he'd known. That's abuse. Actually there is "mandatory reporting" for many abuse related scenarios.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 06:03 AM

Most men are balding before they hit the age of 25 All the men in my family have full heads of hair into old age, so I guess I must have those great hair genes that women lust over so much ;-) I'd better filter my women by asking them if their dads went bald. Wouldn't want to sully my great hair genes with a bald gene carrier.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 06:00 AM

If you want a woman to carry babies, knock up a poor chick. More than half of children born in the US are to moms on Medicaid. Rich women are too busy for kids lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 05:57 AM

Why don't you join a church or something. Boom, instant social opportunities.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 05:52 AM

I’m in my 20s A lot of women my age don’t want children which takes away the “biological clock” imperative When people say women become more likely to get baby crazy at a certain age due to their biological clock, they're not talking about 20 year olds lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 05:49 AM

True, I know a few people who got tats young and then spent a lot of money, time and pain getting them lasered off when they got older lol.

women should be out of the work force. Only an idiot would phrase it judgmentally like that. But if you say "I'd like to date a woman who loves children and dreams of being a stay at home mom to give them the attention they need, and I will support her in that" a lot of women will think that's sweet.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates19/10/23 01:40 AM

Sure, like lots of men have internalized misandry. Like judges who give men longer sentences for the exact same crime.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 03:03 PM

Don't steroids shrink your testicles so even if you have a relationship you might not be able to have kids? Doesn't seem worth it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:29 AM

I guess those men and women were raised badly by their parents and teachers then. Whichever gender spends more time raising and teaching kids must be doing a pretty bad job.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:21 AM

I've never met a city boy who doesn't know what toilet paper is.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:11 AM

I assume most of the women complaining that men can't wipe their own ass are rural redneck women dating their male cousins lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 04:01 AM

The good ones are mostly taken already.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 03:53 AM

Then the average woman must be pretty stupid to marry the average man. And the average man must be pretty stupid to marry such a stupid woman. So in the end, they deserve each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 03:51 AM

Yeah I know the reasoning I'm just saying that reduced tolerance for cheating is a consequence of that risk. Like if your state passed a law today saying that if your husband gets anyone pregnant then you are financially responsible for the baby, I'm sure that would affect your paranoia regarding cheating too. You'd probably have different thoughts on whether a high n count man is good marriage material in that scenario too.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 01:56 AM
2

Look, if a woman chooses to date a man who can't wipe himself, either she's an idiot, or he has money, or looks, or something else she desires enough to put up with the weird behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 01:25 AM
14

We do not know why she is seeking to minimize this time further. Are you in a "dollars for days" state where the more custody days you have the more child support money you get? She probably likes money. The fact that even a stay at home dad can't get custody shows just how biased the courts are. I'd say post this to menslib just to see how quickly they delete it.

If a lesbian gets pregnant while married to a woman In that case the non pregnant lesbian can be 100% sure it's not her baby and she can just get divorced. There's no risk of paternity fraud. I'm saying that if when a straight woman's husband cheated, she suddenly had legal obligations to his affair baby, then she would probably be a lot more paranoid about cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/23 06:52 PM
0

Well if a man's wife cheats, in many places he's legally obligated to raise her affair baby. If women/gay men were legally obligated to raise their husbands' affair babies, they would be more paranoid about cheating too.

Men aren't that mentally different to women, they're just physically stronger. Being stronger is on its own enough to explain the difference in DV injury rates.

I doubt there's data showing exact equality but I do know female predators are significantly underreported due to serious, systematic bias. A lot of commonly repeated stats like "99% of rapists are men" rely on defining rape in ways that exclude most female perpetrators, e.g. "rape is penetration of the victim" which erases most men raped by women. Those stats are almost certainly false if we apply a gender neutral definition.

The American Time Use Survey data is very coarse. It was never intended to be twisted into "men bad" by gender wars keyboard warriors. Yet here we are. https://www.bls.gov/news.release/atus.tn.htm Household activities. Household activities are activities done by individuals to maintain their households. When we compare working hours + chores + childcare, men do less than women. Biased stats. Typical female bonding activities like a woman teaching her daughter how to make a cake count as "chores", but a man teaching his son how to play baseball counts as "leisure" despite being just as challenging.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 06:56 AM

Studies written by feminists ... totally unbiased! Like the studies that define rape as "penetration of the victim" so they can ignore most of the data on male rape victims.

They will once they learn about the height wage gap. You know why Hillary lost the presidency? Too short! Height commands respect and a lot of women want that as much as men. Of course, there are downsides. Taller people die younger. But most men would rather have a slightly shorter life filled with true love than be a long lived virgin.

Intersection of height and culture. But today's culture has increasingly unrealistic standards when it comes to male height. Women seem to think 6' is "average" when that's really just the tallest 20% of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 06:29 AM

My dad’s 5’9 at best 5'9 is average American male height. And even then you say your mom left him for a taller man? Oof. And you're like "My dad just never let being short get him down" when he's just average height. Lol. Women's perception of normal height is so skewed it's crazy.

Yeah western society is sick. But there is little an individual westerner can do to fix it. Probably the best way out for individual westerners is to marry into a more communal culture and be "adopted" by their spouse's extended family and thereby integrate into the culture.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 09:05 PM
3

Maybe deep male friendships and "old boy networks" are correlated with male power, and the west, in search of equality, made the trade of dismantling many of the spaces where deep male friendships are formed in order to reduce male power.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 04:52 AM

Lol you need to read more theory. It's okay to admit you have no clue what you're talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 03:54 AM

This whole "male loneliness" thing seems to be mostly a Western phenomenon. Arab and Indian men seem to have deeper friendships and less fear of being seen holding male friends' hands etc. Yet those are famously more "patriarchal" cultures than the west. How do you explain that?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:54 AM
2

Maybe, consider the related problem of lesbians having difficulty initiating romantically as discussed in the poem Lesbian Sheep. I learned to be an initiator because I moved far from my hometown and realized I had to be more active to build a social network. Being the initiator is pretty tiring and I used to wonder if people just don't like me if they never initiate back. But then I realized that they're still hanging out with me anyway, they're just uncomfortable with initiating.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:46 AM

It’s sad to see but if anyone recommends that they be vulnerable with each other they’re told to stop feminizing men. It’s a real catch 22. "Be vulnerable" is putting the cart before the horse and often just makes people look needy instead of vulnerable. You first need to create an environment where vulnerability is accepted and reciprocated. Otherwise vulnerability in the wrong environment is just exposing your softt underbelly to predators who will happily tear into it.

But it’s because my aunts (I call them my aunts) are the ones who call first and gets the convo rolling. I think in most friendships there's the initiator and the follower. Men have to do most of the initiating in romantic relations so sometimes it's nice to sit back and be the follower in other relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 02:26 AM

You're overthinking it, cuddling your date while watching a movie is "kino" and plenty of women enjoy that. Of course some women are autistic and hate being touched by anyone, but who wants to date that?

I see the mistake you're making - you're thinking that 10 million humans and growing is the same population structure as 10 million humans and shrinking. It's not, the ratio of old people to young people is completely different. Growing population: more young people. Shrinking population: more old people. The burden of caring for the old people falls on young people, and is much worse in a shrinking population.

Women only see a steep decline only if they stop taking care of themselves. Some things are just biology. For guys who want kids, the closer women get to menopause the less interested the guy will be for obvious reasons. Of course if you're child free or gay no need to follow those rules.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 04:53 AM

Many people get both at the same time MD/PhD. MD/PhDs are only like 3% of MDs. It requires several extra years in school and only really makes sense if you want to conduct medical research. Definitely not for every MD. a) the area of study matters a great amount when it comes to earning potential Of course, that's why there's still a wage gap even though more women go to college. Men tend to pick higher paying majors.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 04:46 AM

Lol no Medical Doctors are MDs. PhD is research/academia track.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 12:40 AM

Actually PhDs usually make you poorer. Masters degrees are where the money is. But a PhD takes many more years than a masters, years where you could be climbing the corporate ladder instead of being paid slave wages by a university.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 12:18 AM

That's not entirely true, exercise makes men more handsome in many ways : broader back, leaner face etc. And if you really want to increase your height leg lengthening surgery is a thing. But obviously if you can land a woman without that you wouldn't bother. A society that surgically lengthens half their sons legs just to make them marriageable would be a pretty sick society IMO.

I've definitely seen discussions where people say "it must be his/her personality" instead of admitting it could be physical attractiveness. I think it stems from a kind of Just World Fallacy where people tell themselves if someone is lonely, it must be because they have a shitty personality, because that explanation makes them feel better about the world than admitting that some people with great personalities are lonely because they're ugly.

Most women seem fine politely declining and don't get murdered but if you're autistic you are allowed to always give out fake numbers if you want.

What's the context? Is someone pointing a gun at her demanding her number? Sure, give a fake number. Is a friend of a friend she's been talking to for an hour at a party politely asking if he could have her number? Would be pretty shitty to give a fake number instead of just politely declining. That's not getting out of danger, that's just lacking the social skills to politely assert yourself. Maybe excusable if she's autistic I guess.

It's a classic Motte and Bailey. "The patriarchy" is sometimes used to mean all gender roles, to support the claim that "defeating the patriarchy" would eliminate all gender discrimination. But then why call it "the patriarchy" instead of just "gender roles"? So then they switch to the other definition which is "the patriarchy just means most leaders are men". Sure raising kids is a lot of work. But paying $150000 for surrogacy and raising kids is even more work. Basic economics tells you that as the price goes down, more people will take advantage of it. statistically a pedophile is way more likely to be a man. Have you heard the phrase lies, damn lies and statistics? Studies show that because society downplays the possibility of predatory women so much, even children known to be victimized by women will often describe the perpetrator as "a man". You can't make serious inferences from the statistics without correcting for this bias.

National Coalition for Men has accomplished a few things by suing the government under equal rights laws. But this has limits, eg the Supreme Court simply refused to accept the case on conscription. Or he can sue for full custody and raise them himself. That would be much cheaper for him, he could pay 24 hour nannies much less than what he's paying in child support. Pah ha ha ha Who are we kidding? Men don't do that. Yeah because any family lawyer would tell him it wouldn't work.

It was all pointless. That sounds like depression. You might benefit from therapy. Maybe you're really gay and all this internalized misandry is just your way of suppressing your attraction to other men?

Of course, men/women aren't toxic, it's the gender roles enforced on men/women that are toxic. Saying men have to be tall is "toxic masculinity" in the same sense that saying women have to be virgins is "toxic femininity".
/r/AllPillDebate20/09/23 10:20 PM

The same way it's a toxic gender role to pressure women to be virgins. Being a virgin/tall/etc isn't what's toxic, the pressure is.

The pressure on men to be tall or have a sharp jawline definitely is a toxic gender role, which is usually what people mean by "toxic masculinity"

everyone becomes good looking Will never happen, because good looking is relative. If the average man is 6', women will still prefer the man who is 6'5". Also fashion changes over time and place. People selected to be "good looking" in their culture can easily be considered ugly if they ever move. Just consider Asian immigrants in the US. Feminism prioritizes changing the gender roles that hurt women. MRA prioritizes changing the gender roles that hurt men. They both want to challenge gender roles but they have different priorities. If you go to a meeting of feminists and say "I want to change this gender role because it hurts men" they will accuse you of derailing and kick you out. That's why MRA is needed as a movement to prioritize men's issues.

I think patriarchy is factual just by looking at where power is concerntrated That's just heightism, people prefer tall leaders and most women are super short. If you want more women leaders you first need to dismantle heightism.

It's a classic Motte and Bailey. "The patriarchy" is sometimes used to mean all gender roles, to support the claim that "defeating the patriarchy" would eliminate all gender discrimination. But then why call it "the patriarchy" instead of just "gender roles"? So then they switch to the other definition which is "the patriarchy just means most leaders are men". about 1 in 26 men have experienced completed or attempted rape That's one of the trash statistics that comes from defining rape as "penetration of the victim". I understand why the biological reality makes men sad. I’d be sad if I couldn’t find a mate. That’s a normal reaction. But here we are: Males compete and females select. That means a lot of males don’t get selected. Just facts. That has negative consequences for women too. Suppose men without college degrees are much less likely to reproduce, but women without college degrees do fine. You have a son and a daughter and can only pay for college for one of them. Which one do you pay for?

Well in the past there was less good entertainment available so women had an easier time getting men's attention. But now modern men have more options so women need to try harder. What's interesting is that the people who developed the idea of ambivalent sexism (separating out hostile vs benevolent sexism) also did a study on ambivalent sexism towards men. But yes, the outcry about women getting a 60-40 representation of college graduates among men should really function as a way for you to extend that empathy to women What empathy are women extending to men who don't get into college? I don't see many feminists motivating for colleges to be 50/50. hard power, from the top If you want a woman president you need to run taller candidates. Collectivism aligns with femininity, not masculinity. That's a weird stereotype. If you look at most of the institutions of successful societies, they were built through men's collectivism. I already changed the OP so subsidies are only blocked if the dad is raped.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:23 PM

No, we're just not incentivizing women raping the dad. Remember only the first two kids per dad can get subsidies. If you rape the dad to try to get one of their first two kids, that's abusing the system, so we don't want to encourage that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 04:28 PM

Teenagers can fuck all they want but why should we incentivize teenage pregnancy with subsidies?

/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 04:12 PM

You don't see how giving money for rape babies incentivizes rape?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 04:11 PM

She can just abort lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 04:10 PM

If you want a dude who vacuums, make him vacuum your house before you have sex with him, simple. Only date dudes who put pictures of themselves vacuuming on their dating profile. When a guy vacuums well, tell all your girlfriends so they want to date him too. If you make vacuuming a status symbol instead of dumb criteria like "being tall" then you'll get men who vacuum.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 04:09 PM

If men have to spend extra time laboring to make women orgasm, seems only fair that women spend extra time doing something in return, like making a nice sandwich after sex, doesn't it?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:37 AM
2

When have men had to advocate for their orgasms? The whole study of seduction is men advocating for their own orgasms lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:35 AM
2

When we form at a foetal stage we start of with the same basic set of coding for genitalia Yeah but it turns out hormones make a huge difference. Trans men repeatedly say they started orgasming way easier and stronger after taking testosterone. You want easy strong orgasms? Inject testosterone.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:29 AM

It's funny how some women gloat about how they can have multiple orgasms while others complain about having none. I'm not sure if women actually have less orgasms on average or if they're just unfairly distributed. Maybe women actually have more orgasms in total than men, but these orgasms are being hoarded by a subset of women who are multi orgasmic.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:23 AM

Obviously lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:10 AM

Attractiveness is caused by sex drive, not the other way around. Ask any man if the porn star still looks attractive immediately after jerking off. Post nut clarity, majority of women don't look attractive either.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 05:07 AM

Yeah! 👍🏾
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 02:33 AM

Definitions are just social constructs too.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 02:11 AM

But how can you morally justify Morals are a social construct that societies make up to make societies function better. If you chase after "fair" morals but it leads to societal collapse (population or otherwise) then you're not moralling properly.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 01:33 AM

Nah, because men die younger there's a gender imbalance among geriatrics that makes it super easy for old dudes to get laid. All an old man has to do is find an equally old sugar momma and he's set for the rest of his old age.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/23 01:27 AM

The main issue with your solution is that all the old people won't vote for it When voting fails people turn to revolutions. Who controls revolutions? Young people. Who's going to defend a bunch of childless old people from the revolution? Not their children that they don't have.

I believe you mean with breadwinner work the amount of money each person earns The time use survey is about time, not money. If you only count money then obviously women contribute less on average. Counting time puts women in a better light.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/23 02:55 AM

And you're lucky you didn't get sucked into "femisphere" subs like TwoX or FDS which are full of bitter women convinced that women always lose in marriage. They're basically the gender flipped version of the "manosphere" lol.

Lol so obviously not all the subcategories are listed, they just break out the most interesting ones. The subcategories that are listed are still part of the total category though.

I can tell you didn't read the article I linked because if you did you'd see that Caring for and helping household children Is actually a subcategory of Caring for and helping household members So is already counted as part of women's 0.64 hours per day in that category. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but in 2023 both men AND woman are working and paying their own bills You're wrong if you assume all couples are like this, there is a significant percentage of stay at home wives especially in cheaper parts of the US like the Midwest where this is more affordable. Obviously less common in HCL areas. According to the American Time Use Survey, on average men and women do the same total work (breadwinner work plus household work). /r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 05:32 AM

I don't have the power to fix that. I lot of people seem to think nothing matters except voting for president, but writing to your legislators and voting in local elections can make a lot more difference. Like most of these custody and child support laws are set by the state, and it's easier to influence state politics than national.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 05:28 AM

Yeah but all those chances of death are tiny. Women can pop out five kids and still have higher life expectancy than the average man.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:14 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/23 04:02 AM

Yeah it's definitely a self fulfilling prophecy. If people expect kids to make them miserable then they probably focus on the negatives instead of the positives and that makes them more miserable lol. I don't know how much this negativity is just a niche Internet phenomenon or whether it's spilled into the real world too. Sometimes I think the Amish have the right idea about staying away from the Internet ;-)

I'm fascinated that you think this idea mostly discriminates against men, because I'm sure if you proposed it on AskFeminists they'd accuse you of being a women hating misogynist who just wanted to hurt women. But I do honestly think this idea has some advantages, mainly encouraging people to be more intentional about having kids and requiring the consent of both parties.

I'm not saying this is a standard men's rights position or anything, it's just one possibility which is relatively simple to explain. I would not be surprised if marriage rates tanked under this change of law. It guarantees that a woman is never at risk of a loss of legal claim on a child, no legal obligation for joint custody it’s a slam dunk. The only cost is potentially risking a fortnightly payment 10 years down the track. Am I reading this wrong? Why would a man want kids with a woman who d…

I agree there are many men who have this brand of internalized misandry. But there are men who've told female friends/relatives about being raped and just been laughed at. So a lot of women have regular misandry too.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 03:02 AM
1

Yes, correct for the unmarried case. People who are serious about wanting kids would obviously have strong incentive to get married under such a system.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:56 AM
3

Rape is very clearly a specific case to which nobody should be subjected to carry or finance a child against their will. I don't see any rape exception in child support law so seems it's not that clear to lawmakers. Its your fellow gender and their ideas around sex why male rape is not taken seriously. Go sort that out then come to me. Plenty of women don't take rape of men seriously either, but your attempt to blame it exclusively on men is again pretty sexist NGL.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:54 AM

Yes without marriage they are by default treated the same as a sperm donor. If both parents want, the dad can voluntarily adopt/legitimate the child later but this requires both parent's consent (or after the child is 18, the child's and father's consent). But basically the idea would be to encourage communication about children, and marriage if both members of the couple desire children. Hopefully reduce the number of accidental children to unmarried mothers, since without support they would ha…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:37 AM

You mean you forgot to consider rape because you assume men can't be raped? That's pretty sexist NGL.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:31 AM

That's not what happens though see Hermesmann vs Seyer, statutory rapist was awarded child support from her victim. If that shocks you, write your congressperson and tell them to change the law.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:28 AM
1

The easiest way is to make child support conditional on marriage. If both parents want children, get married, this acts as an official agreement that both want children. If either doesn't want children, don't get married, this implies no support, if the woman gets pregnant she is free to abort or adopt if she's not rich enough to raise it alone.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:17 AM

Suppose you (or if you're a woman, your brother/son/cousin) is raped and the rapist gets pregnant, should the victim have to pay the rapist child support? Is it "sociopathic" to not want anything to do with it?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 02:13 AM
5

Abstinence doesn't stop you from being raped. Vasectomy is often irreversible, just because you don't want to pay child support to a rapist doesn't imply that you never want children with someone you love.

So what, some women find it creepy when men step outside their role too. Any particular woman isn't obligated to date a man who wears lipstick if that creeps them out, and any particular man isn't obligated to date a woman who approaches if that creeps him out. If you want to break gender roles you limit your options to those who don't mind you breaking those gender roles, and that's true for all genders. As repeated constantly on this sub, nobody is entitled to a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/23 05:31 AM

Maybe but the biology part is what you can't change even if you switch gender roles. A man can wear a dress and makeup but can't get pregnant. A woman can wear cowboy boots and swagger but that won't give her a natural strength enhancing steroid (testosterone).

To be fair being a forever stay at home parent just doesn't make practical sense anymore. If you don't pop out a new kid every year or so, you have no reasons not to work - kids grow up and chores don't take as much time as they used to. You don't have spend all day doing the laundry by boiling the clothes and soaking it with chemicals. You just load the washing machine. You don't have to bring the water from the well to clean the floors, you grad you one-use mop and clean it. Exactly! Large par…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 03:25 PM

Nah it's mostly biology. To get pregnant requires a male orgasm so men who can't orgasm easily just wouldn't pass on their genes. The same isn't true for women. And obviously violence is a bad strategy if you're weaker. Men in wheelchairs are even less violent than women, because they're even weaker.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 03:10 PM

So you think men should force themselves to date someone they're no longer attracted to? If he's turned off then he's turned off, he can't force himself to feel attraction again and there's no point in him wasting time trying to settle for someone he's not attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/23 02:56 PM

Nah you're probably just not their type. If they're really put off by the action itself that means you're doing it in an awkward or creepy way. Learn not to be awkward or creepy. Just like men have had to learn during all of human history lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 11:01 PM

Life expectancy has everything to do with the topic of who "statistically" has higher risk of dying. That's literally what life expectancy aggregates. Women's risk of dying is lower than men's across the board.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 10:20 PM

And way more would love things to change so it didn't put men off. You mean women who ask just need to learn to handle rejection lol. Handling rejection is an integral part of the asking-out role. Just because you ask doesn't mean you're entitled to a yes.

Cost of living is to some degree a choice. If you move to the city you raise your cost of living, if you move to the country you lower it. I think there's research showing that cities have been population sinks (low birthrates) for most of human history. Probably no coincidence that the US population becoming increasingly urban coincides with more complaints about cost of living and lower birth rates.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 10:04 PM

More like "don't ask a random reader how to write a bestselling novel" or "don't ask a random person in an art museum how to paint a masterpiece". If you wrote a novel based on what random readers said they want, you'd end up with some lowest common denominator crap. Writers/filmmakers etc don't learn their craft by surveying their audience. They learn from other writers/filmmakers, and by actually writing and making films, and then observing the reception.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 03:30 PM

you're less likely to orgasm during sex Biology you have higher risks of getting severely physically abused Biology Changing gender roles wouldn't really change the biological parts. Women are just physically weaker so abusive women deal less damage and abused women take more damage.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/23 06:47 AM
2

Or the male gender role is just more useful to society (especially capitalist society). Capitalist society looks at a household with one breadwinner and one homemaker and thinks "if there were two breadwinners we could collect twice as much taxes". Meanwhile two homemakers would be a net money sink, they'd basically need welfare just to survive. That's why women were encouraged to become breadwinners but men aren't encouraged to become homemakers.

You're arguing the breadwinner can get some custody. That's not full custody. And those questions are stupid because a homemaker planning to divorce can deliberately withhold that information from the breadwinner to strengthen their case. Some places execute rapists. That would definitely restore the rape victim's right to not have a baby with the rapist. Only executing the rape-fetus would just be a more merciful version of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 02:33 PM
5

So you're saying the only way to restore his reproductive rights (to not have children with the rapist) is to make the rapist abort?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 06:28 AM
7

So you're saying it would only be reproductive rights if society forced the rapist to have an abortion? That seems like an extreme position, I think letting the rapist have the baby but not have any child support is a reasonable compromise. (In addition to whatever prison sentence they get for the rape, of course.)
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 06:19 AM
3

Yes it's true, see Hermesmann v. Seyer. They're related insofar as one of the most common arguments for abortion rights is "what about rape?"
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 06:13 AM
2

Nah there's more than one yes/no. E.g. you can say yes to a date but no to kissing on the first date. Etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 06:10 AM
2

Does her desperation reduce her attractiveness? Is she willing to take "no" for an answer? Because if not, yeah that's a huge turnoff. She might try to baby trap you or otherwise abuse you to stop you from leaving. If she's happy to take "no" for an answer, then of course it's flattering and if there is compatibility could even lead somewhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 03:36 AM
11

Reproductive rights are a social construct. States can allow our disallow abortion. They can enforce or not enforce child support in different situations. Currently the US forces raped men to pay child support to their rapist, but that's entirely a social choice, there is nothing that biologically forces it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 03:04 AM
5

So you agree that men deserve the right to financial abortions in at least some cases, e.g. rape. (A right which raped men currently don't have in the US) Just like most people think women deserve the right to abortions in the case of rape.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/23 02:47 AM

They're related, a common argument for abortion is to appeal to the example of a raped woman, why should she have to carry the baby if she had no choice? But by the same logic if a woman rapes a man why should he pay for any resulting child? He didn't have any choice either.

It's definitely a symptom of problems with society if it's true though. And whether they like it or not I think most people will ultimately settle for what's available - ever heard of "military goggles"? What I don't really understand though is short women obsessed with height. Isn't that self hating? Kids get height genes equall…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 06:41 AM

That's not true. Imagine a woman who is a mentally disabled but hot and young. Do you think men would rush to date her? No, so clearly intelligence does matter. However if you want kids, a young wife who loves kids first is likely a better partner than an old wife who loves her career first.

I think it's mostly a thing in online dating just because it's a round number. It's dumb because it's only like 20% of men though. If men filtered for the skinniest 20% of women, feminists would be all over that being an "unrealistic standard" but if women filter for the tallest 20% of men feminists are just like "the heart wants what it wants". It's a blatant double standard.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 05:32 AM

But when feminists don't like men's preferences, they demand that men/society change. Prefer to marry a traditional stay at home wife? That's sexist! Not attracted to fat women? That's fatphobic! Etc

Women produce stories about men characters being romantic to women characters these stories are consumed by women readers Step 2 is what they mean by men being the producers of romance. E.g. a fat ugly quadriplegic is less likely to divorce you just because they're desperate, but only chubby-quadriplegic chasers would consider that a net positive. Some feminists seem to think that women are entitled to a "marriage to the state" that provides the best of both worlds: women can screw and have kids with only the hottest men, but all the less attractive chumps without kids still have to pay to raise the single mothers' kids via a socialist welfare state with heavy taxes. Compared to that, monogamy does seem like a raw deal where less attractive women have to "settle" for equally unattractive men.

If men got pregnant many feminists would get really mad at the idea of women owing men child support lol. They'd probably try label it "punishing women for having sex".

So the only side, that adresses these dynamics is the red pill ,but the red pill, while having valid points overgeneralizes and is toxic. It basically indoctrinates you to hate women, which can be very attractive if you just had a traumatic experience, because it takes all this burden and your responsibility away and puts it on women. It also offers easy solutions. Its really not that complicated. Yet the income is all that matters, supposedly. From the government's perspective, maximizing income maximizes the tax revenue they can collect. And even in countries where it is legal, the man needs the woman’s consent to perform it, so it still isn’t really his “right”. Depends on the type of test. Before birth, it requires her blood so obviously that needs her consent. After birth, it just requires a cheek swab from the baby, so no consent needed from the mother for an over the counter test.
