If a 10 year old shoots someone and then comes forward about it ten years later, they still get tried as a 10 year old instead of a 20 year old, because that's how old they were when the crime was committed.

Considering that she also committed the crime because she was fearing for her own safety, I'd be a bit more lenient than in cases like some college girl accusing a guy of rape after a one night stand that she regrets a week later. My older half-brother works as an admin in a large multi-national server hosting company, and there's a few girls who work in his office. That's what is referred to as a "war crime" and is actually illegal. It costs more because if (when) somebody is wrongfully convicted, you can release them from jail and say you're sorry.
