I'm not usually "that guy", but this has nothing to do with seduction. You even complained about guys wanting to date/hook up with you. I think you should post this in /r/relationships. That sub is also for family/platonic/non-romantic relationships. Social circle stuff is talked about here, but that's done with regards to how it helps pick up.

If you see yourself as someone worth talking to, it would be impolite not to give them the chance to meet you.

I would say 4/5 times I can get a number. Then only about 1/5 numbers leads to anything

You're in high school, any long term and meaningful relationship you get into will and should end when you go to college. There are so many more opportunities to meet people in college. You don't want to deny yourself the opportunity of meeting these people by staying in a relationship with your high school sweetheart. I'm not saying to wait for college. Just lower your expectations of what you'll get out of a hs relationship.

It varies. Generally you want to escalate while cuddling on the couch and watching. Escalate up to the kiss->make out and it's go time from there. Everyone ends up ignoring the movie.

Don't sit across from a girl, sit next to her. You also have to be able to hold a conversation on a coffee date. It keeps away the awkward silent staring.

I really just care about her validation and attention, however limited it is. Don't. Needing validation and attention from anyone is not good and will lower your self esteem.

As far as that quote goes, it's 100% true for men trying to get women. Less true for women trying to get men. Giving out and picking up hints comes naturally to most women. This isn't the case with men, so most guys don't mind and a lot even like it when a girl says she's interested straight forward. If this guy doesn't want a relationship, there's no way you can convince him. And since he's getting laid regularly you're not going to be able to pull him away with subtlety. You just have to ask a…

Don't just rush through interactions so you can talk to every girl in the area. If you do this you're cheating yourself out of quality in favor of quantity and results won't be as good.

Stop trying to be close friends with your teacher. She's never going to see you as a peer. I think I agree with what one of the other people said, you should talk to a therapist about this.

Helping others is good, and when you help others you shouldn't expect anything in return. That said, don't let people walk all over you. If it's inconvenient for you, tell them no. If you know they're just taking advantage off your kindness, tell them no. If you know they wouldn't do the same for you if you needed them to, tell them no.

form lasting platonic emotional attachment in women Why? This is called having a friend. If they happen to be a girl then so be it, but I don't see what you're going for here. Telling a girl she has pretty eyes is flirting (not great flirting, but flirting nonetheless) and doesn't exactly scream I want a platonic relationship. Also, stop flirting with your teacher. Flirt with girls your age.

I think the daytime approach location has a lot to do with it. I mostly approach during the day on campus. It's basically a handful of parks in between classes buildings and stuff and a lot of people are waiting for their next class so 9 times out of 10 girls are pretty receptive, at least for a conversation. I haven't even bothered to try at a store/mall. I'm not at either very often and I would think most people are trying to get things done there. Bars are definitely different. Girls at a bar…

This is a fun question. Not too many girls seem to post here, but some are lurking around I'm pretty sure. I'm not sure how great advice from guys here would be since "you don't ask a salmon how to catch fish" and all that. But I would say subtlety probably won't work. I think most guys get complacent when they have a girl to hook up with regularly and aren't as willing to go through the risk of rejection as they are when not getting laid regularly. I don't think sleeping with him and then makin…

I had sex with a co worker about 4 or 5 years ago (not at work, that just seems like a bad idea to me). I didn't even understand game back then. I just went about my day like normal, did very little actual flirting with her, never went out of my way to talk to or avoid talking to her. One day after a month or two of working there when we had no customers and everyone but me and her were in the back of the store I said we should go get coffee sometime and asked for her number. Went to coffee, got…

I almost always start with "Hey, maybe you can help me out." In that exact wording. I use the same wording on the second part and it's usually my default, but I frequently use variations too. Variations usually depend on the environment. For example. One day a bunch of people were walking around in lab coats. Like 50+. So I went up to a cute girl wearing one and asked what why everyone was wearing lab coats. Another is "you look like you know x language, do you?" response "awesome, you can help …

I don't know what qualifies as experienced. I'm somewhat new to actively practicing pick up and participating here, but I've always been a quick learner and at least ok at holding a conversation, and have gotten pretty damn good at it in the past couple years. I'm not very aware of my surroundings at all when I'm chatting somebody up. When I was younger I would be too aware of my surroundings; who might overhear my conversation, what they might think, if I was in someone's way, what other people…

Texting is fine imo. Most people here avoid it and advise avoiding it for a couple of reasons. Their text game is bad, it's really really hard (as in don't count on this happening) to build attraction and comfort over text, and it's really easy to screw things up and come across as needy over text. Although just sending "hey :)" is pretty weak. Avoid sending texts that just say hey or hi

Haha, I wouldn't go that far. Some people like to toss out small insults on purpose to try and humanize really hot girls and bring them down to their level, but that's not my cup of tea.

Yeah it does a bit. That's intended though. It shows that she's just another person to me and that I'm not going out of my way to impress or anything. I usually follow up later with a compliment as long as I'm vibing well with the girl.

Are you opening by asking for a number? Opening by asking for a number or a date is a bad way to go. I generally approach on campus in my downtime between classes. I open with something like "Hey, maybe you can help me out." wait for response (usually ok? Or with what?) "I'm trying to kill some time before my next class. You seem interesting enough to keep me entertained for a bit." And then from there a conversation is usually kicked off.

From Mark Manson's The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck. "... in the face of the inevitability of death, there is no reason to ever give in to one's fear or embarrassment or shame, since it's all just a bunch of nothing anyway ... by spending the majority of my short life avoiding what was painful and uncomfortable, I had essentially been avoiding being alive at all."

A quick note about the power posing he talked about. That topic got a lot of popularly from a TED talk, but researchers recently tried and failed to replicate the results of the original experiment. If she called you three times, I'd say she's interested. It sounds like she might have something crazy going on in her life right now. Either that or she's a bit bipolar or very indecisive. If she tries to set up another date I'd go ahead and give it one more shot and jokingly call her out on all the flakes. Something like "only if you promise you're not going to cancel last minute again." It's really up to you to decide if it's worth your time though.
/r/seduction24/10/16 09:36 PM

It seems like she's not interested. I would stop contacting her. If she's into you, she'll wonder why you haven't messaged her in a while and she'll get in touch with you. When she does message you or after a week or so if she hasn't got in touch, invite her over to your place to hang out and watch Netflix.

Recently there was also a date with a girl which resulted friendship...it was boring to me. Sounds like this is largely why you feel like you shouldn't waste your time. You feel you wasted your time because in your mind, you got nothing out of it. You just have to see the time spent with people as fun and worthwhile on it's own, otherwise you'll just keep asking "to what end".

You can get hints from body language. It's probably best to just go for it when it seems right. Going for it, whether it's going in for a kiss, asking for a number, or asking on a date, actually is a test. If you get the kiss/number/date, then the test results are in, she's probably interested.

Those are less common than them looking down. Also, you might not catch the second glance if you look away because they immediately looked away.
/r/seduction12/10/16 02:39 PM

Why do you say that?
/r/seduction12/10/16 02:23 PM

Almost everyone will look away if you catch eye contact and aren't actively conversing. If you catch eye contact and they look down it shows they're intimidated(attracted). You catch a double glance, almost definitely a decent level of attraction to work with. Eye contact plus a smile, they're basically asking you to say hi.

I don't think social pressure is the reason. Approaching can be hard especially if you're new to it. Why bother with potential rejection when you can just let the guys come to you?

Fitness -> health. I don't see why you need someone to justify good hygiene to you. Books are to learn/for entertainment. Read then for yourself. Seduction is a subset of social skills. Social skills make day to day life easier and just more fun in general. You won't be freaking out every time you talk to a stranger. Looks/clothes makes social interaction easier.

Self improvement isn't something you do once and then you're done with it. It's an everyday process. Continue to identify the things you like and dislike about yourself. Take pride in the things you like, change what you don't.

I wouldn't contact her again unless she reaches out to you first. She knows where you stand. If she wants to hang out she'll let you know. Any more effort on your part makes you look desperate. Try reading some books on stoicism. Meditations by marcus is my favorite. It helped learn how to deal with those shitty moods. The subtle art of not giving a fuck by Mark Manson is also really good. It's not exactly stoicism (more modern/pick up oriented), but it has some similarities.

I get conflicted on the whole stop wanting it so much/don't try so hard stuff. I can see where it's coming from, but when I get in the I don't want it mindset I never approach. I have to want something to talk to someone for more than a few sentences.

Although an autistic person is likely not charismatic, Non charismatic isn't the same as autistic. I would think that with autism you can still improve social skills. The only issue is to what degree. Best advice I have is try not to worry about your genes. Just say what you want to say and remember that those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter.
/r/seduction28/09/16 02:07 PM

Don't sweat it. Sounds like she might be into you, but let her text you this time. If she's interested she'll text you. I prefer asking about the weekend instead of just a single day since people are less likely to be busy multiple days. Not sure which is better though.

Do your best to forget about the girl that rejected you and move on. Don't change for her, change to be the person you want to be. She won't come crawling in your lap once you get in shape or whatever and even if she does, that's probably not a girl you want in your life.

I have no clue what middle eastern culture is really like or what day to day life is like and I suspect western media has skewed a lot of people perceptions of it, so I don't know how much help we can really be when it comes to explaining social/cultural differences. I find that in the US it's pretty easy to get a girl's phone number, especially if you have a class with them. In those cases I just say we should get together and study sometime.

Not with that attitude. You have to really want to be charismatic and actively work at improving your social skills. Charisma is all just social skills. Social skills can be improved with practice just like any other skill.

Next time you go out with them, watch how they talk and interact with other people, especially girls. Make note of the differences between their behavior and yours. Compare and contrast. See it as an opportunity to learn. Not an opportunity to be envious.

I'm assuming you mean online dating. I don't do old, but I almost always text the next day and will try to set up a date then. Not immediately, but the same day I first text. In old you dont usually meet the girl in person before the first date so you never have a chance to build attraction. I would say text game is probably super important here then. The text only to set up a date assumes you've already built attraction.

I usually do day time approaches, but I usually use about 10-15% "lines and routines", and to date I've never failed to get a number during a day time approach, but that's likely also partially due to me being too picky about my approaches and not taking advantage of enough opportunities. Looks matter everywhere, but are a much more significant factor in some situations. Online, if you aren't good looking you will have very little luck. At a club where it's loud and people are drinking/dancing, it's hard to have a good conversation because the environment is just not conducive to it. This makes looks much more important here. Yeah, it works in other scenarios. In lectures I'll generally approach at the end of class. If I see a cute girl when I walk in, I'll sit next to her, leaving one space unless it's crowded.
