I don't know why I'm sharing this, i'm just so happy that i finally did it!

Hello! i'm a young guy who over a longer period of time have been lurking this subreddit. Yesterday i i watched an infield video where he ended it with.

"And get out there, you won't gain much from these videos if you never approach"

And that just hit home with me, how you have to try for something if you want to achieve it. I never really saw myself doing pickup, it was more like a funny little dream i had in my mind, where i could be a total lady killer.

However today i was walking home, and a girl looked at me and smiled/held eye contact. Not really my type, but this was it. No more excuses! And then i didn't speak up...

We went in the same direction for a while, and only when we both reached our destination did i try to open her.

She had a cool coat on, so i said.

"I noticed your coat, and i thought you looked cute. So i just had to say hi"

"Thank you!"

I'm thinking this is a good start, we talk a bit, we high five. And then her friends show up, and i start getting nervous. From then on i couldn't really get any good topics going. I said i had to go, and that i would like her number to continue the conversation later. Turns out she has a boyfriend, and that she dosen't give her number out. Oh well!

But on second thought i didn't fail, i learned. Sure i bombed the set completely, but i fucking did it! And that's a huge achievement for me.

For anyone like me that have a hard time taking the first step, the worst you get is a no, and some experience!

my grammar sucks, i know.
