IIRC /u/GayLubeOil does and has very good things to say about it. If you're interested in non-bro-science discussion, head on over to /r/Steroids.

Google it, but the short of it is that it's how cheaters confess. They start small, see if the lie fools you, and slowly escalate the "truth" level until the other party believes the new story.

tried to call you, but it was 3 am where you were, why didn't you pick up!? Fortunately, I met some nice guys at my hostel who consoled me and I went to their dorm. Ok, I shared a bed with one because there wasn't room, but nothing happened. Ok, we cuddled, but that's all! Ok, I had a threesome with them in the dorm, but it was a one-time thing! It'll never happen again! Promise. I mean, it's not like I don't see you looking at other women! I was just confused! You're a really great guy. I don't…

think of the breakup song fodder for T. Swift! I can see it now. Unfortunately, Swift's Triple-Platinum Putin on the Ritz -- likely featuring instant classics like "Sweeter than Polonium", "Back to Decembrists", and "Ukraine to Burn" -- would be the talented artist's last.

More than likely the only man who could pull her down and have the resources and SMV to conquer her shit tests and destroy her frame would be an apex alpha, or someone who is highly skilled at breaking down her frame and maintaining his. So... Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin?

If you're interested, try Athol's stuff. It's pretty good for long-term relationships at becoming the best version of LTR you. That said, if she just hates giving head and if you're genuinely happy with your sex life, then I didn't mean to "Dude" you if you're in a good place. I don't like head myself, but I know it' important to many men. I'd still recommend going over Athol's material, but it's up to you how you feel.

I don't consider for people like that to be a man. I'm genuinely not trying to be rude, just helpful. My parents grew up speaking German and they used to make this mistake a lot. Try I don't consider people like that men. "People" is plural and has to agree with the plural of man which is "men." One doesn't "consider for," but rather he ought to "consider {object(s)} [as] {object(s)}" where the "as" is not said but understood.

Gotta disagree if you're insisting that it's just women who do that. Successful, attractive, and socialized men also flock together. Hence the Greek system in college. It's called assortative mixing (inb4 wikibot). Sure, the details differ between groups, but it's not an exclusively female activity. Edit: I'll agree with most that women react differently than men when one of their own is "moving up" socially.

If he's bragging about it overtly and doesn't have the other indicators of status to back up his claims, he's probably just going to look like a liar trying to make the girl jealous, which is pretty off-putting. Yup, girls can smell chest-puffing a mile away. Then again, it's always funny to talk about other girls in front of a testicularly challenged friend, kind of get the feeling your friend doesn't believe you, and then see the look her eyes change when you game the shit out other girls. For the most part, it's just a fad. They try it out for a few weeks, realize that girls aren't scary, and move on with their lives, hopefully getting laid more. Not really that bad IMO. Good point. Out of curiosity, I wonder how big she is; what with all that fast-food taco stuff she's eating. Not that it matters, actions speak volumes. These type of women (I don't know about this one) look incredible when they're young and can get away with eating horribly, but when their youth starts to fade (I'd say around 27 when their arms and hips start to get flabby), all those bad habits catch up with them with a vengeance. In one post she admits she cheats because she has a deep need for validation, which in fact is direct admission of narcissistic behavior. One might say that she's weak, but she's not. Weak people have shame, whereas she justifies her cheating with "but I've told my boyfriend right away". No fucking remorse. Had a girlfriend like that who cheated whenever she was lonely. I don't think I ever understood why until now. I excused her for it -- in my mind, she was young and self-conscious and was bou…

I'm not a psych professional and I noted that in another response, but it sounded a lot like what I deal with. TRP is bad enough about bro-science without being bro-psychology as well. Point well-taken.

I want to start this by noting that I'm not a (non-armchair) psychologist and I certainly don't want to pathologize what could be a normal reaction to someone not doing his share around the house. It's totally possible that she's having a normal reaction to you being an insensitive prick; I'm not saying you are being one, but just keep in mind that you could be at fault. I appreciate all the points everyone's making about avoiding playing into a bitchy wife's frame... but I don't think this is "normal" wife behavior. But as a dude who's dealt with OCD for a while, your wife just seems triggered by the dishes. Is she excessively clean about other things? Does she have weird routines? Is she easily upset by things being out of order? Look into OCD symptoms and see if your wife might display some of them.

Sure. I'd like to think it was mostly his achievement and self-worth, but my gut tells me a lot of it was his resuming a dominant family role. Successful women want and are attracted to successful, bullish men and don't usually have the time or patience to help a man develop himself. But what's especially commendable is her being realistic about the process by giving him incentives, structure, and support. Find the video of Neil Strauss on Jimmy Kimmel. As much as I don't like the guy, he made a good point in his book and in interviews that men should be asking standard "woman" questions like "So what's special about you?" or "What are some good qualities of yours -- but don't mention {the easy ones}". Those are tame one -- you'll be more aggressive with your DHVs depending on the woman -- but they make you seem more interesting than most guys begging to get laid.

You sound like a modest person who's really into her partner and isn't attracted to creating drama. Those are good qualities that your boyfriend probably really (but silently) appreciates. But that's not how a lot of young Western women are. I tell her that I don't care what they look like and that I'll keep fucking her regardless. That's not something you should say; it kills the mood. Acknowledge her coyness with an understanding smile, reach to take it off for her, and show her that you're awesome. If she stops you and just wants to have sex with her bra on -- respect her boundaries. If she stops you, doesn't want to have sex, and keeps playing games? Then yes, by all means, freeze her out.

I think we probably have some differences about what constitutes "alpha" but it really should only be thought of as a term for describing sexual success, not a term to indicate possession of proxy traits or to moralize actions. The sexual marketplace is amoral and only numbers and quality matter. With that in mind, narcissim, machiavellianism, and psychopathic indicators are the secret sauce in the seduction game. And for all his natural charm and enviable social position, the man who doesn't ma…

Alphas don't really have to lie, because people are attracted to them anyways. Betas are usually the ones who end up lying, because their truth isn't attractive enough. Lie much yes? Sure. Lie not at all? No.

Faking it is totally alpha. Lots of women won't put out unless they think you're serious, so you pretend to be serious, then hit it and quit it. I think that's pretty beta. I tell them I'm going to hit it and quit it, and they put out anyways... that's alpha. Alphas don't need to lie or fake or pretend anything. I mean, there's a difference between spending weeks or months or years on a girl in order to somehow "win her heart" and faking an emotional connection for a night because you're a socio…

From the Heartiste-linked study on the front page: Moreover, both multiple regression analysis and canonical analysis indicated selection under female choice for negative covariance between girth and facial and vocal masculinity, suggesting that the brawnier a man is, the more important it is for him to have a feminine face and voice, and vice versa.
