The problem is, we have a divorce and child custody system that incentives it.

A woman can marry a man who is "good enough" then dump him for a higher SMV guy, and financially and emotionally destroy the first guy.

Thanks to western feminism, we have had all dis incentives to divorce removed, and the incentives for women to divorce massively enhanced, this creating the problems we have now.

Nothing is "wrong" with hypergamy. Hypergamy just is. What's wrong is breaking promises.

the problem is that it isn't acknowleged in our society, nobody talks about it, even the women keep it secret, like it's taboo. When i talked about this with some blue pill friend he laughed and said i was crazy. This is the problem, men don't know shit and are getting screwed in the game department.

There is nothing inherently wrong with trying to get the best in life. However, the issue comes from when women/men start cheating and taking their soon-to-be former partner for a financial and/or emotional ride. It's fucked up.

TRP seems to get pissed about hypergamy. But in reality, I think since most here are aware of it, they are focusing on being a great man, so they don't have to worry about the hypergamous nature of people -- as well as watch out for the hypergamous women that have emotional issues that jump from cock to cock on a monthly basis. Brad Pitt wouldn't even satisfy those whores.

Hypergamy isn't good or wrong, its just a biological fact. What we are trying to do is make everyone concious that hypergamy exists, so nobody ends up as a fool without money or dignity here.

Let's be clear about what hypergamy is: seeking a higher status mate. That's fine. Perfect, even. But the problem is that a hypergamous female is one incapable of committing. She finds a higher status mate, then looks for where she can do better. This manifests itself in divorce, in modern western culture.

Hypergamy is the reason modern man doesn't drag his knuckles when he walks. It's been the dominant selective pressure on the human species for time immemorable.

For the last couple thousand years, we've fought it successfully with the marriage/monogamy system that incentivized contribution from lower-status males. We built societies with that system, we got off this planet thanks to it. We've done amazing things.

We're slowly letting hypergamy back into the picture, and the lower status males are losing incentive to contribute.

why the find it to be an annoying trait in women?

Of course because it leads to a great number of women being attractive but simply unavailable for them, being "out of their league".

But this goes both ways: The same people bitching about hypergamy would also probably reject a number of women whom they would consider out of their league, for example older women who had a great number of sexual partners.

I would say that hypergamy isnt annoying, it is rather simply frustrating if you are on the lower end of the spectrum.
