Honest question. What’s wrong with trying to get in your pants?

What does OHP stand for? Over hand pull-ups?

Big agree. I usually say this to people struggling with looks: "Have you ever looked at someone so hot that you couldn't believe it, and then they opened their mouth and said some really dumb shit.....?" they usually finish that sentence with "yeah and then they weren't so attractive anymore, actually repulsive even" The same applies vice versa.

Yeah, don't act too attached, you can't force someone to love you. And showing verbal love can have a repelling effect. I have said "i miss you" to my ex a few times, sometimes I meant it, sometimes I didn't. Trust me, when you mean it, you'll know and she'll know.

A friend of mine was the girl on the receiving end of a situation like this a week ago, except she did not have sex with him. Allow me to state a few points without giving the whole story: -she liked the guy -she had JUST gotten out of a LTR earlier that week -she told him that he could sleep in her bed and they could cuddle and kiss but THATS IT -he kept pushing and it pissed her off To quote her "it wasn't making me hot, it was doing the opposite because he didn't respect my boundaries, I was …

This is why pickup guys talk about things like logistics. There are places to take your date where it can be awkward no matter what you do with your hands. And some places are just better for dates.

Same here, listened on audio, could not finish The Game, it became obvious that this book was just a doorway to the world, it does not hold anything practical.

Thank you man. For me the membrane that is AA is very thick to break through. It used to stem from low self esteem but even after developing solid inner game I think I waited way too long and now it's become this big deal.

Maybe I should have mentioned that this was my experience. I stayed on this sub for 2 years almost. I devoured all the theory, books, and techniques you can handle. I've done things like meditation, exercise, inner game stuff, etc. All of that stuff helped a bit, but nothing quite sealed the deal. This post was meant to help people on the fence. I also think we are an over-medicated society, but if you truly need it, why not? Anti depressants are not a magic pill. They don't make you happy regar…

The purpose is to find girls TO love. How are you going to find the right one if you don't try out a few?

After lurking this sub for two years, I have seen a decline in quality and it's posts like these that bring me back.

Nothing wrong with seeing a good looking man. It's more from a window-shopping perspective. I think "i bet he gets some good looking girls" or "I would not mind looking like him."

Text: "What's your schedule like this week?" This will make her find a time when she is free and you can set up a date. That way you are not putting any pressure on her and still getting results. Got this from Trippadvice on youtube.

You are so right. I used to be sarcastic all the time and hated everyone else for not "getting it". Then I realized that only my friends knownwhen I'm being sarcastic. Now I make sure to say tongue in cheek things with a smile.

Wow, great job for not bailing. That environment was terrible. I would never expect responses like the ones you were getting. You did everything right. If you don't like a venue, you can leave, though. There's nothing wrong with finding a place you're comfortable with.

I was gonna say this. If you like her just say "oh well I'm sorry let me make it up to you" and take her out or something.

I'm definitely willing. Can you point me towards some routines? I've searched around a bit on seddit and random blogs from google, all I find are the exact same "jealous girlfriend" and "palm reading" things. Please don't make me do palm reading, it's such an obvious routine.

some keyboard jockeying chode gets by meditating three hours a day and never approaching girls. Wow, haha. You got me. I know I'm late but this post is very helpful to me. Thank you for mentioning routines. I've been trying to get over AA this whole time and it never even occurred to me to use routines. The whole pickup community (and everyone else) has stigmatized routines so much that I mentally crossed it off of my list of options. I've gotten good at kino, inner game, conversations, but stil…

I've been to a doctor. Trying different things out right now. I know I have anxiety but I have a "there's got to be a way" approach to life. I'm just not asking the right questions. There is ALWAYS an easy way to do things. (I struggled with weight for 10 years until I discovered fasting). I kind of hate how this subreddit has become a hybrid of part picking up women and part support group for the clinically depressed, anxious, psychotic etc. but I guess that's the type of people that need it. This is why I watch video field reports too. I think a lot of guys with AA have it because of inexperience. If you see other people fuck up in various ways, you see that it's not all that bad. I would also recommend going on chatroulette but I'm still a bit scared of that for some reason :>

The best way is to be honest. "Hey there, I know we usually jog in the same places and I don't want you to think I'm creepy because of that so I figured I'd introduce myself." Be totally transparent. Edit: You're not going to find a perfect time or way to approach her, don't try to be sly or clever by tripping on your shoelaces or something like that, either. If you are in her path, flag her down and say "come here" or "hold up a second".

This is some good stuff. And I'm weary of long lists of advice like this, as they are hard to internalize. Most of these principles can be found in Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" the reason being the book has lots of stories to help you ground the truths into your beliefs.

Reddit is like that. If you go into a circle-jerk thread like this and post a disagreement, here come the downvotes. Start your own thread elsewhere and watch opinions vary. However, I'd like to say that that stuff doesn't just work on dim-witted people. It works on me too. As long as the person isn't making it obvious, if someone is kinoing me and saying my name, I'll respond, even when I am aware of what's going on. I don't see this whole /r/seduction thing as a way to manipulate people. I see…

Sorry if I misled you, the book doesn't really interest me. Same as you, honesty has taken me a long way. I was really just saying that most people I know do this stuff backwards.

You'd be surprised how many people don't understand basic principles of being nice. While trying to be nice, they do the WRONG nice thing. Don't criticize, condemn, or complain. See, a lot of people I know complain all the time. They also bark and nag at you AFTER the fact. Some of the best bosses I've had are ones that correct you when you make a mistake and move on, they don't nag. Become genuinely interested in other people. Most of the boring people I know ask "How are you?" I cringe at this…

I wouldn't say bitch. Once you get desensitized to a certain situation you can kind of knit-pick at it. She was giving you input based on what she observed others doing. Your conversation with her was stale at best. Yeah, she was teasing you a little bit (especially with the "shouldn't curse in front of a lady" thing, obvious shit-test), but I wouldn't call her a bitch. I think that girl sounds fun.

When she asked for the dollar I could have made her say "please", made her "work" for it (then given more), etc. When she said I was cute, I really wished I could have said "you know I was just thinking the same thing about you." The whole reason I feel bad is because she probably feels rejected after the fact. In hindsight, what I did might actually be smart, she could have been someone trying to play on my emotions and trying to get more money out of me, but really this is just an excuse, I st…

I downvoted you because posts like this do not belong in this subreddit. However, I can offer some insight, as I am just getting over this same phase you are in. Step 1. Take a break. Unsubscribe from this sub. Don't read it for a while and just try to internalize the main parts you know and like. Go away for a few months and be in the world, even if you never end up doing 100 approaches or whatever, you can still have those thoughts in the back of your head and work on whatever you can. Step 2.…

Haha, took me a while to get this. Here's the game laid out easily: Question Question Question "How many was that so far?" if they say "3" they lose. If they lie about the number, say "haha, you got me, have you played this game before." then they say "no" and they lose.
/r/seduction10/02/13 01:43 AM

My only criticism is that you only did what the situation called for. You got into a good night and everything pretty much worked out for you. I pretty much would have done the exact same things as you did. I'm not saying it's bad, just saying that this is something that will boost your confidence, but not your skill. You didn't seem to push your comfort zone.

Same here on the adrenaline part. Weird thing though is I somehow got over the way I look. I've been overweight for 10 years and I let it bother me for 9. One day I woke up and realized it's not the thing holding me back.

Definitely, there are plenty of situations I've been in where I could easily say or do something but just didn't have the mental or physical energy. Chalking it up to "whatever I don't feel like socializing right now."

I'm always in my head. But whenever I say something after thinking it, it has a 100% failure rate. It's just not me. Whenever I speak instantly without thinking, it's true to me.
/r/seduction14/11/12 06:46 PM

At first I thought you were talking about some stupid "just do it" philosophy where you tell the OP to stop thinking even though he knows that's what he needs to do. If he wants to get out of his head and is asking for help with it, telling him "get out of your head" isn't going to do anything. But then I read more and you actually have some pretty solid advice. I tried that "What am I going to think about next?" thing myself and it actually works pretty well!

Holy shit. Thank you for this post. Ive been planning on moving to Austin once I'm done with college since last year. I dont know anyone there, and I have no clue whats going to happen but I am just taking a chance and moving to a city I hear great things about. You just confirmed this.

Focus on eye contact first. Seriously. It takes practice but its the first thing thats achievable in your case (I went through your same pain). Here's a little exercise. When you are chilling somewhere, look at someone and wait till they make eye contact (dont stare, though), then wait three seconds and look away, or wait one second and smile if its a girl, raise your eyebrows to guys.

I have a good experience with oil based colognes. Most kinds. They stay on you, are subtle yet powerful, and girls love it.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. Eye contact is my biggest weapon as of monday. I started classes at college and I can't help but look cute girls in the eye and smile. The success rate is phenomenal. I also realized that people appreciate it more when you don't have anything to say, you don't. I've been "the life of the party" so many times and never had even marginal success.
