But if you label women as females, then you will end up in r/menandfemales.

I already changed my mind. Also, I made this post because I saw people calling old people perverts for hitting on young people.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 01:13 PM

Well, I prefer safety, so backing off was a good idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 01:00 PM

Wait no, not actual hatred, just the disliking towards me.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 12:59 PM

I changed my mind to prevent more hatred towards me, and their logic actually makes sense, so...

I've already changed my mind.

Wait, I now realized that I started to view old people as negative because of people villainizing them. Thank you for warning me about that.

I made this CMV because I heard the issue of old people hitting on young adults in some random post.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 12:14 PM
2

Yeah, I agree with that. Sorry about that. Though, I saw in some random post that people were complaining that old adults are hitting on 18-year-olds.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 12:12 PM

No, people shouldn't refer people as their gender, since it's dehumanizing.

I have created a new subreddit for men that discusses the issues caused by MRA. We do not allow women here since we need a men-only space to debunk MRA ideologies.

Then use cis women instead. Using terms like females and males as a noun are derogatory.

About the needing to talk about the post, what if you just want to talk with the person, and there is nothing related about all of the posts and comments? Like, you see a post, but you just want to have a casual conversation (like school and work) with that person, without the post being related about the topic of the discussion you want to have with the person.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 06:33 PM

But how would you personally start a chat, without feeling like it lacks basic grammar?

Oh okay, thank you for your information.

But does looking through someone's profile history count as stalking?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 02:59 PM

Red I think, because it makes them look narcissistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/23 02:55 PM
1

A green flag is "hey I saw your post on (x)" because that establishes some background and why you're reaching out. Oh, I kinda thought that this was a bad approach because it makes the starter of the conversation seem like a stalker who constantly browses their profile history.

Why are there two of these bots? It's unnecessary.

Bruh, my post legit started another gender war :/
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/23 09:05 PM

What I mean is that both misogyny and misandry exist, and they are both different. Misogyny is objectifying women and seeing them as sex toys, while misandry is villainizing men. Of course misandry hasn't caused as much damage as misogyny, but both of them are a serious problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/23 09:04 PM

I mean, the problem is that nobody will listen to you. You are just speaking to the void.

Please do not start gender wars, because I feel like this will cause a gender war.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/23 08:50 PM

I mean, misogyny and misandry are different. While misogyny is based on dehumanizing and objectifying women, misandry is based on villainizing men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/23 08:37 PM

The same with men who reply "wHaT aBoUt mEn" in a post about women sexual abuse victims.

Well, some posts are archived, and sometimes you get downvoted to oblivion by assholes.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/23 08:29 PM

Hah, I saved this thread. Success trying to turn me into a woman hating mess, because I sure as hell won't be a misogynist, unlike you.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 11:29 AM

Nah, they cannot corrupt me, because I always feel superior to those misogynistic men, so they are powerless against me with my power trip on their pathetic behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 11:09 AM
0

Pleonasm. Misogyny is always towards women, so you don't have to say it like that. I know that misogyny is hate against women, but the word itself was automatically included with "hate" in one sentence.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 11:02 AM

Elaborate further why my age makes my opinion invalid?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 10:52 AM

Don't care, that will only prove my point further that Red Pill is a mess.

/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 10:43 AM

No, I am viewing this in a neutral state, and acknowledge that both misogyny and misandry are a problem. While misandry is not "as bad" as misogyny, they both are a serious issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 10:42 AM
0

Yeah, it always sucks when the good parts get merged with the bad parts. I agree that Red Pill has some good non-sexist points, but it also contains sexism, which ruins the good parts.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 10:40 AM

Elaborate further?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 09:51 AM
1

Well, both misogyny and misandry are as separate as they are connected I guess, so they need to be eliminated at the same time.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 09:32 PM
0

Wel, try to say that to TwoXChromosomes, they will not take this well. Also, when you point out misogyny in MensRights, they won't take it well either.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 08:53 PM
1

Okay, now let me rest.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:58 PM
1

Okay, so we are striving for giving both sexes the freedom to do what they want, as long as they don't negatively affect anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:55 PM
1

Then what? Do you really want to make abortion illegal, because it isn't equality?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:47 PM
-1

You know what, I feel like I am about to give up with arguing with people like you. Have fun with taking away women's rights, if that is what you are trying to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:46 PM
1

So, then what should we call it then? We want to give women the right to abort, while men cannot get pregnant, so how would you call all of this, if equality isn't the right word?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:44 PM
1

So, what is your goal?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:36 PM
1

This attitude is exactly why misandry is a serious problem. Of course both men and women need each other to survive.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:33 PM
1

Okay, but how do you call this then, if it's not equality? We want to give both men and women the right to choose what they want to do, as long as it doesn't take away other people.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:31 PM
1

How? Explain. I am literally suggesting to give women the right to choose whether they want to abort or not. Sorry for lashing out at you, but I am really tired of people justifying their bigotry, because "the opposite caused suffering, so we have the right to make them suffer". Sorry again.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:22 PM
1

Edit: Paraphrased the whole comment, since it sounded aggresive. Also, sorry about lashing out at you. Can you please stop with that nonsense? You are sounding like a misogynist, because you want to take away women's rights to abort, because men cannot get pregnant. That doesn't even make sense, and it makes you sound like a bigot. So, please don't compare equality to that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:14 PM
1

At this point, I will not say anything. Have fun with the bigotry, y'all. I give up with reasoning with people like you.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:12 PM
1

Yes, of course we aren't equal, but we have the right to have equal rights and choices.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:10 PM
0

So? Do you think that being enemies to women will fix that? The same can be said about misogyny: Women are justified to be misandric, because men were misogynistic. See the problem here? I am honestly tired of all that bigotry bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:04 PM
3

Because nature designed that women can give birth, so women can choose what they want to do with that birth ability. They can give birth, they can choose to abort. The same cannot be said for men, because men literally cannot get pregnant, while women can, so your reasoning of taking away women's choice of aborting to equal to men not being able to birth is "equality" is absolutely horseshit, and I absolutely mean it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 03:02 PM
1

Agreed, stereotypes only hurt people.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:59 PM
1

How about stop with the bigotry? You are not helping this problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:57 PM
0

No, people want equality of rights and choices.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:43 PM
1

I don't know, maybe just how average racism and sexism works, that are not related with the opposite version?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:34 PM
1

Though some things are independent of misogyny. While most of the misandry is caused by misogyny, some factors are outside of misogyny.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:32 PM
0

Nope and never.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:30 PM
1

Understandable.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:29 PM
1

Not all of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:22 PM
0

That won't work, because this will create a literal gender war.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:09 PM
1

You realize that your misogyny will cause misandry at you, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:05 PM
1

Not that either. Neither let feminism nor men's right movement control us.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:03 PM
0

Yeah, people won't take me seriously when I say that the government is trying to abolish abortion rights.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:02 PM
5

And men treat women as second class citizen, if we take your logic. So, please stop with the blatant misogyny, and just accept that both men and women can be trash. This is not meant to attack you, but you really need to change your views.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 02:00 PM
0

No, ignoring won't fix it. We need to do something about it. You don't need to participate, but ignoring it won't fix it at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:57 PM
0

Agreed, some people are labeling rejection of sex as abuse, which undermines the actual abuse the victims face.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:55 PM
1

Define hypergamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:54 PM
1

No, women aren't at fault here. It's just the government that is at fault here.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:53 PM
1

I mean, it still applies in some countries, and women want to completely remove patriarchy, and that is understandable, since neither capitalism nor communism was a good idea, so both patriarchy and matriarchy is a bad idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:52 PM
1

Yeah, it's all the government's fault, with capitalism, communism and patriarchy.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:49 PM
1

Define your misogyny.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:48 PM
1

The reason why misandry is normalized is because of misogyny, since they are using that as a justification to be misandric, so no misogyny means that they no loner have the justification to be misandric.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:12 PM
1

So, what are you trying to say with your comment? I cannot understand.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:05 PM
1

Yeah, I think that we need to teach people these basics, and how to respect each other's problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:04 PM
-1

No, women are losing, since US is trying to ban abortion pills, which implies taking control of women, and taking away their choice.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:02 PM
2

Yeah, I don't imply to be misandric. I imply to stop US from banning abortion pills.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:01 PM
0

I disagree tho, since no misogyny means that misandric people lost their weapon, and that weapon was using misogyny as an excuse to be misandric.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 01:00 PM
1

Wait, I don't understand your comment. Can you rephrase it please?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 12:58 PM
3

That's the reason why men's rights movement and feminism are dangerous, since sexist people will use them to breed chaos. We don't need them, we need a movement that focuses on peace between males and females.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 12:56 PM
4

Because misogyny was the first to exist, and misandric people use the existence of misogyny as a justification to be misandric, so stopping misogyny means that misandric people no longer have an argument, so they can be stopped too.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 12:54 PM
0

Yeah, and since US is trying to ban abortion pills, things are more heated than ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 12:52 PM
2

I can agree with you, but to reduce both of them, you need to reduce misogyny first, so misandry can be reduced too.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/23 12:51 PM
-10

Exactly, both of these subs are a shithole of misogynists and misandrists.
/r/MensRights20/03/23 06:26 PM
1

I think both, because as a male, I tried to indicate that this sub is filled with a fair shade of misogyny, but they literally downvoted me.
/r/MensRights12/03/23 01:47 PM
2

Finally, a rational comment. Sexism is just out of hand, and we need to fight against the system for equality.
/r/MensRights12/03/23 01:00 PM
1

Well said.
/r/MensRights12/03/23 12:57 PM
-49

That sub is supposed to be rant, and rants in general are stress dumping, so please do not visit those kinds of subreddits if you cannot take rants. Edit: At this point, both misogyny and misandry will never disappear if you people are hating on each other, without trying to understand each other. Try to understand their stress, because we really need to understand each other if we want to solve issues.
