Wasting your time. It’s not worth it. Abundance.

It’s actually easy once you delete your account and realise how little value FB and Instagram add. Reddit on the other hand, can be useful depending how you use it.

Tell her that you’ll go celibate and wait an eternity for her if she went into a coma. Defuse with humour. Maintain frame.

Seems like you’ve put women on the pedestal, man. Your new year resolution was to go on a date? The underlying tone of this suggests you’ve had a “needy” mindset for far too long. Now it seems like you’re looking to compensate to the other extreme and sideline women completely. You have to find the middle ground. You mentioned a few times that you don’t consider yourself good looking. Does your self-improvement include gym and exercise? Also, have you taken it upon yourself to improve your fashi…

Not to get academic, but interestingly, If you’re referring to skill in a career sense (and ultimately financial success), research suggests that women are more attracted to the ability and determination to become financially successful, versus the financial success itself.

Golf. You can play for years unlike more physically intense sports. Not a “team” sport per se but absolutely great for networking and socialising. Join a local club and play in a different four ball every week.

Cool, makes sense. My last suggestion then, as I’ve also seen complaints recently about newbie questions like “what to respond to texts”, example: https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/cb3gb9/stop_asking_what_you_should_respond_to_a_text/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app So what about a daily newbie thread? Where any questions can be asked in the comment section without judgment. Example: Newbie thread

Read Atomic Attraction. Brilliant book
/r/seduction14/07/19 08:26 AM

What about a threshold low enough to indicate a genuine, but throwaway account, like 50 karma for example? Most throwaway accounts who have raised this point do have enough karma to suggest it’s not a spam account. Unless it’s possible to use some form of AI type moderating that automatically deletes posts or comments if they violate sub rules (as seen in other subs across Reddit). In this case, the common spam posts can be flagged and future similar posts will then be automatically deleted? Thi…

Yeah, but your dedicated account has more than 500 karma which is way more than enough to suggest a genuine account. These spam accounts are usually less than 10 days old with 1 karma. More active moderating would be great, but probably unrealistic unless it’s AI based moderating.

/r/seduction10/07/19 10:03 AM

Agree. Every time you overthink a text or are about to ask for texting advice, recite the mantra: Texting is for logistics Proceed to text appropriately.

Sometimes you have to make the distinction between a shit test and simply a toxic person. If you decide it’s the former, then agree and amplify or ignore (back to basics of the shit test). If it’s the latter, which I believe this is, then delete number / block and move on.

Your problem OP, is that you’re trying to outsmart her. Not texting her because it will get her hamster wheel spinning so that she will come running to you. However, she has clearly made up her mind. If she wanted to leave her fiancé and pursue you, she would have. But she hasn’t, and she is looking for validation and excitement that she clearly lacks in her LTR. She will only use you to provide that, whilst sticking by her decision to marry some cuck. You’re best going no contact for the purpos…

General question, highlighting that if she is or is not cheating physically, but you’re noticing negative behaviour then that should be an early warning sign
/r/askTRP23/06/19 12:32 PM

How is that logically possible? Off-ish / distant behaviour may indicate that she could be emotionally checking out, but how could that conclusively mean she is cheating? You may speculate or deduce an answer from your inclination, but you’ll only know the truth from hard evidence. The real question is why are you tolerating such behaviour regardless?

Well, you could go straight to the source of Neil Strauss’s influences, eg. The Mystery Method. I haven’t read it so I can’t comment, but I’m not sure how dated it is. Other than that, the usual recommendations on this sub; Models by Mark Manson, The Manual by W Anton etc.

Don’t go in with the expectation that this book is a guide to pick up. It’s a quasi-autobiography of Neil Strauss’s life as a PUA. But still a great read.

I’m going to be the bearer of bad news. If you continue like this, she will lose respect for you and your relationship will fail. Women appreciate men who maintain themselves as their number 1 priority. The fact that you jeopardised an interview and are willing to get fired for her, means that you lack self respect. She does not want to love a man who doesn’t respect himself. How will you support her if you’re getting fired because you don’t care about your future? You are being needy. Realise t…

I was also confused, until the very last sentence at least. but being ugly def doesn’t help You need confidence, man. You’re a good looking guy. You have your shit together from what is seems. So your variables are you confidence (which lacks), your mindset and subsequently your frame. Work on “inner game” and jack up your theory and you’ll be successful.

she just broke up with her ex of 6 years and was not over him (she still isn’t over him now). He doesn’t want her back and she’s definitely alpha widowed. They still communicate and it’s always her initiating. Major red flag. It's important to remember that high SMV (looks, social status, job, working out etc.) all increase your chances of success with most women, but don't guarantee success with all women. My goal was exactly to get jacked and fuck girls the last few years There's nothing wrong with this. As long as it's a byproduct of the bigger picture. Set goals for your business startup that you mentioned. Set career goals etc. Put a plan in place to achieve that and go for it! For example, if you want to be an engineer, what side projects can you do that will help you land a big gig at a top firm once you've graduated? Something above and beyond what all your classmates aren't doing? Same app…

/r/askTRP08/02/19 01:22 PM

You can't do anything to prevent him seeing her. Of course he's going to do so. Nor do you want to mateguard. You have to set the precedent that if she disrespects you then she's out. It's probably already too late, because if she had respected you from earlier in your relationship, then this wouldn't be happening. I'd next her and learn for the next relationship that boundaries need to be understood.
/r/askTRP08/02/19 01:14 PM

Seems like you've gotten stuck in a routine. What are you long term goals? Maybe you need to re-calibrate those now that you've come a long way. If your long term goals are still correctly aligned, then perhaps you need to add more meaningful goals to the equation? Much like David Deida speaks about in The Way of The Superior Man. Search for deeper meaning (stage 3 man) beyond only being jacked and sleeping with women.

I think a major cause of oneitis, particularly if it comes in the early stages of meeting a woman, is due to idealisation and lack of abundance. Perhaps you're lonely so you meet a woman and think she'll cure your loneliness, or you just lack an abundant mentality, and therefore you paint her out to be someone she isn't, in the hopes that she's going to fill some gaping void. Make her prove her worth to you before you become emotionally invested. Quit thinking about her all the time. It takes a …

There’s a difference between being a genuine good person and being a “nice guy” and often these can be confused. Being a nice guy is more of a mental frame versus actually doing “nice” things. Nice guys sacrifice their own needs / happiness in an attempt to satisfy others and inevitably end up coming last. Good people only do good things when it’s viable for them to do so, without sacrificing their own happiness whilst considering their needs as priorities, essentially knowing when to say no. Le…

It’s pretty obvious that it’s a rhetoric value used in an attempt to get a point across. So why are you getting so sensitive about something so insignificant in your life? Try r/psychology if you’re looking for academic-backed research to each post. As soon as you start overthinking it, you're already over-invested. Keep it basic and stick to logistics in the beginning. If she's interested, it won't matter if you text her an hour later or a day later. Just don't be needy.

I've DM'd a woman who ignored my message and showed absolutely no interest. By chance, I happened to bump into her at a bar about two months later and ended up making out with her. Your return on investment on IG is low because of the vast amount of DMs women receive. Unless you have a solid IG account (like 5,000+ followers), don't do it.

My take on the "looks don't matter" comments is that it's an attempt to help people get out of their own head and out of their usual excuses. It's an easy fallback for most to blame circumstances that they were born with. Of course look matter - I completely agree with you. I've had conversations with many "interesting" women but I have had no desire to pursue them sexually because of a lack of attraction. But in saying this, it doesn't mean that if you didn't hit the genetic jackpot you'll be d…

I don't know your personal circumstances and by no way am I downplaying what these might be. The point I'm trying to raise goes back to your previous comment; Time and time again online, including in this sub, women say they don't want to be approached by men they don't know, especially not during the day when they're out-and-about trying to get stuff done. This is opinion. There will always be these types of women. That's how society works. Everyone's brains are wired differently. But if you ha…

How many women want to be approached by some random guy, though? I've had this discussion with women and I don't recall one occasion where a women has said she wouldn't prefer being approached during the day. Great point. Coffee shops also present opportunities for situational openers that could quickly lead to discussions that the target is interested in - i.e. have a look at her textbook and initiate conversation based on that. She's studying the subject so should therefore interested.

You walk away with the following: A mindset of “IDGAF that I got rejected because by just approaching I’ve achieved more than most men would” You realise that approaching random people is entertaining You’ll learn from your mistakes and be better next time And most importantly, you realise that your day was that much more interesting by speaking to a random stranger who you usually wouldn’t have. Great points you raise. Especially about getting stuck into it as quickly as possible. I’ve been out solo and the longer you take to socialise, the more awkward you feel. You’ve gotta strike whilst the iron is hot and settle any doubts, Also, the point about giving fun instead of taking it is very important. Avoid at all costs getting trapped into creating a false sense of neediness being solo. The only point that I’d add which you didn’t include: if you’re struggling to get into “the zone”, the…

To add to this, a general rule of thumb if you’re uncertain; tease her about things she has control over, not about how she was born. Otherwise you’ll make her self conscious.

She’s a woman and wants you to take the lead. She’s definitely not going to start “making moves” as you hope, especially since she’s shy. Be confident and needless to say, respect her if she says no (verbally or physically).

Flirting and teasing is situational and there's no canned response to your question. Start off by reading the plentiful literature available out there to help you succeed. For example, The Mystery Method, Models by Mark Manson etc. Even sorting this sub by top will be a decent starting point.

How honest have you been with her? She’s probably “closed” because you yourself have not been transparent enough with her. Make sure she knows exactly what your expectations are with / from her. i was very emotionally invested. Now I dont care at all though I'll challenge this statement because if you're posting this here, then you're clearly emotionally invested. You're overthinking the entire situation. It's only awkward if you make it awkward. If they're your friends and you enjoy hanging out with them, then do it. Just don't act butt hurt about being rejected. Be confident (abundance mentality) and this will make everyone more comfortable.
/r/askTRP15/01/19 07:30 AM

you will come to the realization that a lot of girls, if not all, are indeed blatantly disloyal. This is a beta and insecure mentality. There's no reason a woman would cheat on a man who satisfies her both emotionally and sexually.

Context is key. How many times have you been on a date with her? Is she genuinely busy that validates her delayed response? Or Is she responding to you sporadically because you’re low on her priority list? You need to understand the context and then make a call for yourself. My instinct though tells me that you should NEXT her. In most situations like this, when you’re uncertain, it’s best to apply Mark Manson’s Fuck Yes or No law. Google it if you haven’t heard of it yet.

I say this because you’ll learn so much about social dynamics (from being rejected) which will help you out in so many aspects other than just seduction. Work, friendships and so on. I understand that confidence is something you have to work on, but everyone gets rejected. No matter their looks, social status, job title etc. It happens to everyone. So don’t view that as a reflection on you, but rather a reflection on that person. We all have preferences in life. Consider this simple analogy. What’s your favourite car? A BMW. Cool. Does that mean Audi is shit? No, it just means you prefer BMW. Same applies to when a women rejects you. You might be an Audi and she wants a BMW.…

assume I’ll fail if I try. The only way you’ll realise that you (or nobody else) gives a fuck if you fail is when you actually do fail. Then you’ll see how failing is just another learning curve and it isn’t so bad. Eventually you’ll end up laughing it off each time. And if you do fail, it at least means that you actually had the courage to go up to a girl and try. That’s already more than most other guys are willing to do. So view that as a win. You’re looking for someone to fill a void you have about feeling rejected. You have a victim mentality. Work on yourself and your confidence to develop the mentality of worthiness and abundance. I’m sorry to say, but you won’t have any success using “pick up” tactics until your mindset has improved. Be proud of who you are. Be confident. Don’t seek validation from women and you’ll begin to attract people with your improved nature.

I would highly recommend the audiobook Break Through Difficult Emotions by Shinzen Young. Half the book discusses the more technical aspects of emotions and the rest is guided meditations to overcome these. Helps you deal with the likes anger, anxiety etc. So it’s great if you have approach anxiety as well as coping with rejection and simply just being more consciously aware of your emotions. It’s relatively inexpensive too - well worth $ 10 or so.
