If you want to study college focus on Quantum Computing, Theoretical Computations or Theoretical Machine learning, Quantitative Economics, or Plasma Physics, ... they rea pretty difficult to graduate out of, there won't be any women in the area because of the complexity and the pay is pretty high. Trade school if you don't want to put in the kind of effort the college one would need.

I had the same feeling when I was working on my PhD thesis. Ask any good PhD student and they would have the same story. It's very much the case in STEM PhDs. Here is something you can do, figure what you can do and work towards being good at it. I suggest cooking. It's a huge stress buster for me and trust me, if you can put in the work you can have a good life as a cook. Give cooking a shot. try boiling an egg or making an omelette.

Get shit done. Engineering is hard work and long hours. I vividly remember my time. It was the toughest 4 years of my life but when I left school, I missed it so much that I came back and finished my graduate studies. I used to work for a big hedge fund in Manhattan mostly as quant, till about a year ago when I left US to move to India. It's been good. I am closer to family now, money isn't as good as in US (>300K PA). I am at a semi FIRE stage, i.e. I trade sometimes but don't have to work for money.

I went to a residential boys school kolkata india ..run by monks of ram krishna mission order .. has perhaps the best science education in country as many of the monks also work in space programs and other high tech research organisations for the government. they do not allow students to have mobile phones and are relatively cut off most of the tech trends.
