I'm not sure if this is PPD or NPD. I've gone through a similar experience with a narcissistic ex. My advice, you will be astonished on how much better you can do without them. Heal yourself, get therapy and never, ever talk to this man again.

Her accident is probably also connected with some kind of trauma. OP hasn't specified that, you never know, no need to be mean. I can understand that her body is connected to the accident and him pointing that out may have other psychological impacts. I also think that OP's husband is really insensitive for not thinking about what this "flab" is a consequence of. I think this insensitivity is a bigger issue than the superficial part that OP focuses on.

This relationship sounds like a downward spiral. Is this the first issue you had?

Thank you for clarifying. I understand, and i redact my choice of words. I've also watched these documentaries (loved RedPill). As for your legal points on marriage, I can't say much about the US legal system, I'm from the Middle East where you pretty much decide how much a woman gets after the divorce once you get married, it's a set amount and can't be changed, even if you have kids. Women are benefactors of marriage in all cultures and systems (yes, even very oppressive systems) in regards to…

Good point and I don't disagree with you at all about marriage being a losing fate for men in court. But I wouldn't date someone who wasn't looking for marriage, because that stance to me is a) not what I'm looking to do with my life and b) a pretty fragile position because if you're so anti losing your shit then make a decent marriage contract, get your woman on the same page on what's fair, get a prenup. The options are there and if you can't imagine that you'd be on that communicative level w…

Hahah :D no need at all, and I absolutely don't mind. I was RPed before getting engaged, he was mindful of traditionalist values etc but hasn't been introduced to the manosphere yet - I just assumed he knew. I started talking about it after he told me about his "crazy ex gf" and I was baffled at how he broke frame so many times for her, he wasn't at all familiar with the term and this is how he became officially RPed. I showed him the documentary and we frequently talk about societal issues & fl…

My fiancé and I are both RPed, it comes I think more easily to us since we are from a very conservative culture and we've both agreed on traditional gender roles in our relationship with modifications based on need. It's not like we "talk" so much about RP things (lol) like "you lost frame" and such, it's more like we talk about RP things in general with things we observe in real life or pop culture, like that whole Johnny Depp debacle: "he has oneitis/that's what happens when you lose frame or …

That's awesome!! I go on r/seriouseats to get an idea and then I use my own knowledge to reduce the kcal and increase the protein count. Eg. I don't use cream, I make low-fat bechamel, there's only parmesan on my lasagna, using lean mince for the köfte etc :) when I make desserts, I try and substitute 50% of the sugar with erythrite or other sweetners. Trust me you can do delicious things with a low cal count.

Hahah sweet! :D please don't hesitate

For context, my boyfriend is a fitness junkie so I cook dishes with animal protein every day, just a disclaimer for any non-carnivores :D. Next Weeks Dinner Menu looks as follows. Day 1: Lasagna, low-cal Cheesecake for dessert Day 2: Reverse Seared Steak and Mashed Potatoes Day 3: Turkish Köfte and homemade flatbread Day 4: Mongolian Beef and Glass Noodles Day 5: Thai Coconut Cream Chicken Curry and aromatic rice Day 6: Creamy Salmon Tagliatelle with dill and chives Day 7: Grilled Chicken Skewer…

Hey there MotznRoth, I hope you're doing well and props to you for recovering from COVID. I looked through some of your pictures to get a grasp of what you're talking about. I saw a lovely lady with a beautiful voice. Quick context, I'm an artist :) I've learned my fair share about facial symmetry and objective aesthetics. Sometimes I'll stop a lady and ask her for a picture because she looks good and I'd like to draw her. She'll go all "wow, I always thought my [forehead or any generic part of …

Based on your comment history, it seems like you weren't fit for each other. It also seems like you have different ways of communicating. I won't offer you commentary, I'll just answer your question as to "Why" he cheated on you. 1. You said he complains about you vehemently talking about atheism a lot, while he is a devout Catholic. Seems like this is an ongoing thing, seems like it is something important to him that he has been getting a lot of slack off from you. 2. You said you embarrassed h…

Sweeeet!! My boyfriend loves my protein chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon buns. Cinnamon buns look lovely, are easily packed and delicious! For the protein cookies I use a normal Choc Chip cookie recipe and substitute 3/4 of the Flour serving with whey powder. If your husband says "no" to treats because of his fitness, you'll get him around with those. For the cinnamon buns I use 3.5 cups flour Active dry yeast Salt 1 cup milk 1/3 cup water 2 eggs 1/4 cup honey 1/4 cup melted butter I let that…

Yes. STFU is a blessing. Obviously for the right people, I'm learning when to STFU and who to STFU with. It's a really underrated gem!!

Taking the circumstances into account I totally get it. He is terrified of being sick and there's nothing he hates more. So waking up like this because of random snow coming out of nowhere I'm sure he was pissed off as hell! I totally understand his reply.. if it weren't for his sickness hate I'd probably tell him to be more considerate towards me.

Yes yes yes finally. It's not like "hey babe whip up a quick steak for me" no... it has to be beautiful... and it has to have little sides that take 2 hours prep... and decoration... (joke aside, I agree with you completely. This is my number 1 challenge) Thank you!!

I can't thank you enough for your insight. I feel like the "peace" part is so pivotal. Making home a safe haven, that sounds like something worth striving for.

Thank you for the help! I think I really must read into this more religiously, you're right. It makes no sense to generalize something so subjective...

It made me so happy to read this. Thank you for your kind words and advice. Honestly... i was kinda hoping that the estrogen would magically hit me and I'd be able to do all the woman things. But it looks like i need to step up my game quick!

You hit the nail on the head, same family background as well! From what I just read now, i'd genuinely never believe you're just 19! Seems like your dad didn't just raise you to be assertive and analytical. I love this advice. And the thing with the tainted lip balm is just right. I look RIDICULOUS with makeup on, but i feel like this might work. Sincerely thank you for your help, best of luck to you too, parallel me :)

You have a point there, I just understood from the whole RP theory that a higher SMV and a higher desirability is on a general level linked to femininity. The whole "keep your man" objective, from what I understood (maybe I got it wrong and that's why I'm confused) is only achievable through being utterly feminine. Thank you for your advice, at the end of the day you're right, it does boil down to communication and what he thinks. I was just kind of doubting that he'd say "yeah I hate loud women…

Ouch..... I'm making sure none of what I've experienced in the past brushes off on my partner, if this is what you're referring to with "red flags". My only concern is that I don't want to be his burden.

Yes i interpreted it this way too. I sense he's most comfortable when i stay to the natural female archetype. I hope it works out really! And I still do feel sorry for the men on here, emotional abuse is something and a constant state of torment is another, you all got both. No one deserves that...
