I truly hope this is as wonderful as it appears. However in my experience marriage doesn’t always mean they want you in the ways you deserve. My Abusive ex “wanted” me so much, asked me to marry him, put his apartment in my name etc. Throughout the relationship he used these things against me but was glad to show me off to his friends, family and when it benefited him. Marriage can be a wonderful display of commitment but it depends on the person. When he wants you, you’ll know but make sure you…

I recently saw a post on instagram from a "makeup artist" she used black face on half of her face to say that she was "with black people" and loved different skin colors.

SO true. I've met a lot of guys that have a really awful, degrading sense of humor and think they're hilarious. Like boy, you're not only a clown you're the whole damn circus.

Painfully true. He always had females commenting on his Instagram pictures and definitely follows more girls. All red flags.

Definitely needed to hear this, thanks. It shows a lot about someone when you open up to them about the stress and trauma you're dealing with and when conflict arrises they default in to attacking you and calling you crazy.

ya for sure, he wasnt very confident and was always nervous

probably because I wasnt very attracted to my first bf who was a great guy. but we were both really young. I got resentful. Pretty sure Im yet to find an HVM, my last ex was abusive. He was LVM, great sex at the beginning but I completely lost interest towards the end.

For sure. Well, I assume HVM are going to be less assertive and not take charge about things like sex and romance which for me is more of a turn on for whatever reason. My toxic ex would always tell me either I’m gonna be with someone like him who’s more dominant and controlling or a “pussy” who lets me walk all over them. I know this is untrue but after hearing it so much I started to believe it.

That makes sense. I think I assume that passion and instability go together. Theres a part of me that likes the idea of a macho guy that takes control and is unpredictable. I am usually turned off by the red flags but even when I cut them off I end up fantasizing about them. My first bf was a very sweet guy, but super shy and never took control, then my next bf was the complete opposite and that ended horribly. I thought I would eventually balance out but I still feel like I have an unhealthy ad…

omg ok wait, I was talking to a guy that kept saying he "tells it like it is" and he loves being sarcastic. I didnt realize it was such a red flag.

Thank you for this. A guy i was talking to wants to be a marine and seems to have a big interest in police, would this be a red flag?

Im pretty sure its something to do with smoking, he said he was going out to buy "merchandise" when talking about it. He's definitely super immature. He once complained about getting in a fight with his parents like 2 days after I started talking to him. Yuck

Definitely something I need to work on. The initial attraction and flirting is what keeps me hooked and I assumed thats what I'll get the entire time I talk to them. In reality you really don't know who someone is until probably a few months or more of talking to them.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
