Dated a handsome Italian in my early 20s. Absolutely gorgeous. So good looking I stopped him to tell him how attractive he was. Sadly, we had different outlooks on life and parted ways. No man after came close to his looks. Now, 10 years later he’s still hitting me up but I’ve learned so much more about him over these years that I realized his looks would never make up for the lack of compatibility with him. He’s a huge Trump supporter if that helps paint the picture.

Do I want my future husband, whoever that is, to be good looking? Absolutely, and I know chances are he won’t be as good looking as this Italian but we will be much more compatible and I’ll enjoy my life with him more.

This guy in that post is extremely shallow. He admits her personality was crappy but can’t move on because of her looks. Pathetic. And why? Because all he values are looks. But women are the shallow ones?

The most attractive guy I ever dated turned out to be a huge liar and lacked all personality. Attempting to have a conversation that wasn't about the gym was virtually impossible. At the time I had huge insecurity and didn't feel attractive enough for him but that wasn't the issue the issue was his personality. While I do want to be attracted to my future partner obviously, personality is the make it or break it factor. I won't just date or be with someone solely for their looks. Looks are fleeting.

This are pretty normal feelings after a breakup no matter how attractive/ugly the person is. Most likely she rejected him so now he's obsessed when he didn't care enough in the actual relationship.
