Home owner change. Still on loanThat’s a great suggestion thank you. Maybe a stipulation to say we must sell or ReFi within say 3 years. As will probably need some time to save for a new home anyhow | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/24 03:56 PM
Home owner change. Still on loanShe above anything else is gonna do the best for herself. She would not risk losing out on maybe 100k equity and damaging her own credit by not paying the mortgage but I can understand divorces sentiment. Thanks for weighing in bro | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/24 02:07 AM
Home owner change. Still on loanTrue but she would not hurt her self n credit to spite me. Plus she would be risking giving up the equity in the home if payments stopped. She is a very responsible type individual | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/24 01:34 AM

Five love languagesTo each their own brother. I found it insightful. Mine is words of affirmation and her constant verbal abuse hit me hard. I want to help her know how we need to be loved. If she can’t I know I’ve tried everything. Everyone does feel Love the same. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/01/24 06:55 PM
Five love languagesHaha bro I can assure you I’m in pain town now. Check my history. Just thought it might be helpful to someone | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/01/24 11:55 PM
Five love languagesWomen can def be verbally abusive as maybe they feel it’s the only way with Men being naturally bigger. My wife said some pretty messed up things. Did she mean it? Does she believe those things? Was it just said to hurt me as much as possibly? She’s never really been sorry or apologized and it’s become a regular thing when we fight…. Wish I knew the answers. She is not easy to have these convos with it always turns into a battle of stories and past transgressions… even if these hurtful words fro… | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/01/24 11:25 PM
Five love languagesSelf awareness is everything bro. Most people can never face their own demons and faults. I’m still working on that myself | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/01/24 11:19 PM
Five love languagesSometimes it ain’t meant to be brother. My wife is unhappy and I think a lot of things are outside my control. She is constantly comparing to others and other relationships. I call it “destination happiness” if and when she gets the next thing she thinks she will be happy …until she is not | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/01/24 11:16 PM
Five love languagesI’ve heard the biggest regret is looking at yourself and thinking what could of been if this or that… as long as you can agree with yourself that you gave it your entire self…I am ok saying goodbye… still working it all out in my mind however | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/01/24 11:13 PM
Five love languagesYeah brother. Sometimes it is just not meant to be. I just want to exhaust all my self and resources before ending the biggest part of my life for the last 14 years. Good luck to you! | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/01/24 11:08 PM
Does it get better or worse after asking for a separation from an emotionally abusive wifeStay strong bro. I am going that something similar. Control only what you can and that’s your words and action. Don’t give her the power to control you any more. Don’t be triggered into doing something foolish | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/01/24 09:09 PM
Long drive to clear my mind. I think my marriage is coming to an endThank you | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/01/24 02:43 PM

Long drive to clear my mind. I think my marriage is coming to an endNo quite literal actually | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/01/24 02:42 PM
Wife is verbally abusive but might not realize it?It appears you are a women? Would you share your thoughts on the matter? Abuse comes in many forms, including verbal which I believe is most common in all relationships. It’s also probably the most common of abuses that some women use against men due to physical size difference. I also think physical abuse is very much possible against men | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/01/24 04:55 PM
Wife is verbally abusive but might not realize it?No kids… the physical stuff is more rare and honestly the least of my concerns right now. It’s the inconsideration for me and the issues important to me as well as the verbal abuse. Like an issue with my family? I would hope she would help me through a tough time instead of shoving it down My throat | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/01/24 05:14 PM
Wife is verbally abusive but might not realize it?I would appreciate your thoughts and expertise here since you deal with this daily | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/01/24 07:59 PM
Wife is verbally abusive but might not realize it?Yeah I’m torn. There was a time many years ago I grabbed her by her upper arms (tricep) region that left some bruises… I’ve always felt bad and have never done it again as then the whole conversation then shifts and that becomes the entire issue and it gives her the moral high ground. She has scratched me to the point of bleeding more than a few times since and I think , that now believes she is now well with her right to do so…. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/01/24 07:47 PM
Wife is verbally abusive but might not realize it?Yes | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/01/24 05:12 PM
Wife is verbally abusive but might not realize it?Thanks for your input. I agree completely. Early on it did give me a ride and I acted out. It became all my fault. I’ve learned not to give her that power. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/01/24 03:17 AM
Wife is verbally abusive but might not realize it?Thanks for your response. I’m my case, she does use fists, or more accurately finger nails. her words hurt the most. I’ve called her out on her verbal abuse and she’s responded with anger. She wants to wrap things up as she is unable to deal with the emotional turmoil. She responded by saying I will also write back letting you know when I was hurt as well…. She never addressed her wrongs and as mentioned never apologizes. It’s become toxic. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/01/24 12:49 AM
Does wife making more than husband contribute to relationship issues?Yes sorry meant to say six figures plus or low six figures would probably be best to say? | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/01/24 09:09 PM
Does wife making more than husband contribute to relationship issues?Thank you for sharing.. Men of value I think are not given enough credit and shown their “flowers” Be strong brother - love is appreciation is worthfullness. Sometimes it’s better to be apart than be not shown mutual love and respect | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/12/23 05:54 AM
Does wife making more than husband contribute to relationship issues?Sounds like a gem of a women. I don’t think all women are the same just as men are not all the same. This women sounds like a gem who divorced for other reasons but something like making more money was not one of them. Sounds like she married a terrible guy… which on this page I might get hated on… but there is bad husbands as much as bad wives | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/12/23 11:51 PM
Does wife making more than husband contribute to relationship issues? You divorced 2.5 months after SHE got a promotion? | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/12/23 11:42 PM

Does wife making more than husband contribute to relationship issues? Thanks for the confirmation… something I know we’ll in my heart but want to get other thoughts and perspectives… she is also constantly comparing us to others so I guess I always knew it | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/12/23 06:54 PM
Home loanThanks for the info. I am considering removing each others names from the deed but keep the loan as is. It is a lot of risk hoping that she will keep up with the payments. I think she is not the type of person who will let that be an issue and makes good money. Any insight? Thank you for responding | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/11/23 12:01 AM
Home loanThank you I was afraid of this but I appreciate your insight | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/11/23 08:00 PM
Divorce soonMy therapist preaches “couple bubble” and don’t let anyone enter your couple bubble. First comes your relationship with each other. People outside your bubble are secondary. It sure don’t feel like that. I kinda feel betrayed some | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/11/23 05:56 AM
Divorce soonHonestly he kinda is! Lol but I’m more disappointed that my wife sees this as my fault and to blame. It doesn’t feel like a wife being there for her husband. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/11/23 03:06 AM
Divorce soonNo doubt. I feel like the fact that I’m hesitating having a baby with this person should looked at more closely. She is increasingly more set off and just wants to scream and fight. A part of me feels like I am ver much partly why she has become this way. It feels like a complete failure on both our parts but maybe we still need to end this and move on. Im also terrified at what my life will become. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/11/23 03:04 AM
Divorce soonThanks for replying. I do feel like there is a favored SIL and honestly I don’t feel like I want to be around those that may consider me less. Life is too finite for that | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/11/23 03:01 AM
