I was on the verge of quitting... I went full linux (gentoo) during summer 2007, so I just started on 3.5, 4.0 almost killed it for me. Gnome was a ui suitable for my grandma, not me and so I used xfce for some time. Nevertheless 4x was getting better and more stable (multimonitor was a tough nut), and though it's still buggy in certain spots, it doesn't slow me down now. Now I use both win7 and opensuse with latest KDE in dualboot, linux is primary for most stuff. //edit: this word order stuff
