A lot of the advice is basically to give off super corny fake confidence. In reality the actual confident guy is just reserved and doesn't try to force things lol

100%. I think the main takeaway is that you see a lot of advice online that leads to you wanting to "force" or trick the girl into liking you by saying the perfect line or sending the perfect text, when in reality it's a decision you have to give her the space to make. There's no rushing or forcing anything, you stay chill and relaxed and she comes to you at her own pace

Nah i'm not, you don't have to listen if you don't want to. I'm telling you what worked instantly for me but do what you wanna do

Yep, and not only pickup but I see guys try to give advice to send these corny fake confident texts when it just makes them look like a tryhard weirdo The idea is to be confident and chill, but you display that by being somewhat indifferent and going slightly slower than the girl.

Exactly. You can't text her into liking you. In order to increase her attraction, she has to wonder about you

I agree, men typically fall into love much faster and develop deep interest quickly. For women it usually takes much more time. That's why guys should practice going slightly slower than the women, and have it be HER idea when you two are talking/spending time together. If she feels like he's forcing it when she needs more space, she's gonna start to lose attraction to him. An important note for guys is to not just focus on your level of attraction to her, but also reading her interest in you

I didn't intend for it to be taken as literal as that. I should have prefaced with the fact that men should initially pursue the girl. Where the mindset kicks in is that you should pursue her, not chase her. If she isn't showing you any interest back, then you back off completely. The idea is that you want to be with someone who's excited to be with you

No, I should preface with the fact that the man always initially pursues the woman. But the mindset helps you pursue and not chase. And if she doesn't in return show interest, then you back off completely The idea is that you want to be with someone excited to be with you, and not feel like you're forcing them.

Actually the real reason is that men typically overpursue and chase her away. Women take longer to start "liking" a guy than he takes to like her. You have to let her go at her pace, otherwise the man will overpursue and chase her off 90% of the time. The relationship should be her idea, not you forcing it.

It's really not. A girl that is excited to see you will make time for you. If she doesn't wanna see you you'll get a whole lot of excuses of how busy she is or whatever

Any kind of "I'm too busy" "I can't because _____" "I need time to myself" really just means she's too busy for YOU. Gotta take it on the chin and keep it pushing

This was a few years back, I got over it pretty quick it's just funny looking back with a clear view now. Just shows why you have to be objective about a girl even if you're really into her, but guys will ignore obvious signs because they don't want it to be true

It's just funny because my gut the whole time was telling me something was wrong. I basically got gaslighted by all the /relationship_advice types into thinking I was crazy and insecure. It seemed like they basically would do anything to defend a woman's actions, I'm not sure why Something I had thought to myself at the time was, if I wouldn't even admit all this was going on to my friends because they would tell me how it is (she's probably cheating) and tell me to break up with her, then somet…

We want everyone we're into to also be into us. So you see people rationalize being ignored as the girl "testing them" or whatever That can sometimes be true, but it's probably more often the girl just not being overly invested

Yeah it's a big problem in a lot of dating and relationships. I think it comes from a deep down subconscious belief that you will not be able to attract someone like this again, so you cannot afford to lose them. Also, you put them on a pedestal and don't truly believe you're good enough for them so you really need them to assure you that they like you Basically it's a deep down lack of self confidence

What's that about?
/r/seduction19/12/24 12:21 AM

Exactly. Basically, they aren't overthinking it. Having the FWB situations really made me get a better understanding of the whole dynamic as someone who has been too needy for most of my dating life With the FWBs, I wasn't thinking "okay she texted me x hours after so I need to wait until x", I wasn't desperate to keep the convo going, trying to make a bunch of jokes every text or whatever. I basically just responded whenever I felt like it, whether that was 2 minutes after her text or 6 hours a…

Honestly pausing the profile isn't a bad call. There's been a few times where I had an abundance and was too busy so I had to leave out a girl or two, but then I hit dry spells after

Yeah definitely the best conversations I've had that led to the most success are ones where we're both sending equal amounts. Usually 1-2 texts each where it's just "witty banter" or whatever.

10% is pretty high I'd guess most guys with 90 matches would get a date with 5% of them, and then like 20-30% of those dates would be successful enough to have another one. The rest are her rejecting him or him rejecting her. So yeah they basically need 90 matches per successful date

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
