Stop talking to her and your lawyer and coming up with common sense agreements that she will refuse. Set the trial, a date always bothers a narcissistic person because that will be the end. Also there are countless ways to avoid contact. Get the OFW app and refuse all contact through email and your cell unless it's an absolute 💯 child emergency. Next when you do pick up and drop off do not get out of your car. Do not engage.

In all honesty what does she want per month and what does she want for the kids college

Sorry to hear that NJ is the worst. Alimony generally is 1 year for every 3 years married. However NJ sucks and they try to make permeate alimony which is a joke. Be careful and just follow your lawyers lead on this as she has no reason to take any reduction as higher education is a choice.

Yes, but sadly, if she is filling under these stories you have to just wait for the hearings to disprove this. Hope you have a lawyer because these cases are the worst.

You can see what she sends and your attorney must share this. If nothing has been received then yes depose her or find her in contempt of the court. I had to do it also.

It is funny you say that... they are requesting my monthly payment should include camp payments and they entered that into the hearing.

They have changed what they called it numerous times after realizing they probably never should have said anything. It was first a monthly gift, then it was "rental assistance " for her rent, now its back to a gift from her family. Her mom is a millionaire and is funding her legal assistance and this is just the tip of the iceberg in the amount of bs on so many topics. They are trying to know force me to pay additional support for the children's camp which I refused to send them the last two yea…

Please understand I knew but did not have proof, in July I did. We are making the court aware this time. Yes a consistent payment is income per my lawyer but now they are fighting it as it stopped.

Of course it is ok to feel upset. My kids are 10 and 6 and they didn't even know what day fathers day was this year and when they found out the day before they where both very angry that their mother didn't give them time to get something together for me. I always say that its just another day and you can make any day whatever you want it to be.

Update, I actually received an update today. I was sent screen shots of the email she sent which only show portions of things. I asked why would it be so difficult to just forward the complete email...still no email. Then she turns it on me that I am accusing her that she tampered, changed or his hiding anything and I should be ashamed of myself. Send the damn email then.

Sorry bad job explaing. I just found out about this money which is 2500 a month for the last 24 months in addition to my support. This came ot because of a battle of her hiding a trust / inheritance. We just got this info. So ontop of what I was supporting another 60,000 of tax free income was going to her and she denied it ever happened until now. Our agreement after settlement was she was to have a year to get back to work and now with covid she is claiming she is unable to work. Look I know w…

Yes, she will. However it is a sign of disrespect. Its a power play and do not fall for it. Domestic abuse needs to re evaluated as this is mental abuse that pushes the actions of a man to snap. The court will be like you shouldn't have over reacted and suck it up....Why???? This is why we will never have equality in so many areas of society because we don't know what to pick and choose what is good or bad. Women are weak and man should protect them. Fuck that. It would take me hours to get into the details... supervision was not warranted... long story short I was forced to take an evaluation and the dr that gave the evaluation was on the take from the lawyer. Dr was actually caught by another person of this, Dr now has been removed from the court system as he lost his case in court for doing this and also has been suspended to practice in the state. He supported her false claims and "doctored" results to favor her outcome. Like it is not enough to be…

I just think its fucked up as men we have done nothing at all to fix it. Daughters need a father and sons need a role model but we are treated like slaves to a system of bad financial planning. When would you ever make decisions the court makes? Nothing but bad financial decisions.

Good work. I do the same. The whole thing needs a massive revamp. It is time, we treat this like its 1856. Everything matters except fathers. Its an absolute joke.

She was but discovery was before our apl hearing. She had nothing to show.as the payments started the month of apl and moving forward. She has received over 50k in cash in the last 12 months ontop of my alimony/ support of 73k and the settlement of over 300k in cash. This is not a woman in need.

I believe an additional 2500 per month is significant on top of 5500 per month wouldn’t you think? Like at what point after you divorce you need to level set your thinking that you may have to take a step back

Fully agree! For the record it was me telling him to get the fuck out of my house and her saying I threatened him and my kids. So nice of her to protect him with false claims... anyway I do own it and will get this done. Seen a therapist every week for a year, took and anger management class, inrolled in alcohol counseling as that was also a claim was told not to return after the second week as there was no abuse and now hired this agency. Doing all the right things.

My ex tried this also. Such a waste of time and money. I couldn't help but laugh at the one comment that you make 120k a year and take home 10k a month. They act like they forget that you get taxed, pay insurance contribute to a retirement..... they act like you have an offshore bank account with 8 million in it and they will find it.. if I had it I would have got on a plane with my kids and left the country. Thanks E entertainment and your real house wife shows... Anyway if you have a lot to pr…

I personally have never had resentment towards women my entire life. I actually have issues with entitlement and stereotypes.

I have 3 boys and I would never let any of them get married without a prenup, as I did not. I hate to say this but women just hate women as it is a jealous trait they just can not fix. That jealousy turns into resentment towards men. I feel like most women dictate their relationships early as they never actually recover from their first ever true love. They think most men will be the same. They find another man that does things differently and think they are the best thing ever then eventually f…

So I just had a call with my two sons 9 and 5, again on speaker. I was talking normally with them, asking how they are doing? How do you feel? How is the school work coming along? Asking about any new games they may be playing. I was also calming their fears about everything else going on in the world right now. She engages in the conversation like we are all having a group conversation, comments on everything I say or the kids say. I finally asked my son to take me off of speaker which he did. …

First and foremost file immediately. Second get a lawyer now. It should only cost you about 3k. If your support / alimony was ordered by court and not agreed in your decree you can make adjustments with that. In PA there is a true up rule if cs support was ordered by court. The first time you need help navigating this with an attorney so you understand how to handle this in the future on your own.

Dude, keep your mouth shut and do nothing. Keep great notes and get a lawyer. When you want to freak out, go find your best friend or family member. She will screw you if you slip up.

As awful as it is right now, coming from a lot of us that been through it your blessed. Get a lawyer, keep your mouth shut until you get all your things in order. Find a firm that has a lot of positive reviews. Get a woman lawyer... make sure that lawyer is politically connected in the local court. End file as soon as possible. A cheater never does not cheat again or you will always have trust issues. Your actually one of the lucky ones

Non modifiable. We came to an agreement at 3k because when we where at court they where pushing for 4 years and the judge has awarded this in the past in my county since we where married for 9 years and she did not work. I gave up the proceeds from the sale of our house to get it down to 2 years. They also where pushing for 75 / 25 split of everything and I was able to get it to a 60/40. Whole thing is a crock.

Over the last year, I have been paying 3k in alimony and 2k in cs for two kids. The legal fees where awful at least 75k. I already have given close to 250k in separation. I have been living off my 401k as it is all I have left. I am absolutely flat ass broke. I mean like 500 left to my name. She actually has everything we have, had.

Man or woman receiving, alimony, should not be abolished it should be much more closely monitored. All I am saying is when you are helping someone get back on their feet there should be some form of repayment for the party that had to go through this to make that possible. There should be restitution when the situation calls for it. How can divorce almost always be a decision with no consciences? The funny part now is, half isn't even realistic, lawyers start at 70% and start negotiating down. F…
