AGREED!!! Finish and do 2 years. Then you'll have enough under your belt to pivot to something without having throwing away all that time.

I was in your position a few years ago and here is what worked and what didnt: Worked: Clubs - This was my most successful method to meet like-minded people. They already have the same interests as me, and want to talk more about it. I have friends that I speak to regularly from my various clubs. My Homebrew club is great. Mensa can be good if you qualify and want something nerdy. Minimally worked: Meetup.com - This helped me get out and socialize, but since the people attending the meetups tend…

Yes, I am the same way. I've found that there is a silver lining. I get to enjoy a lot of things that I've already experienced as if they were almost the first time I was experiencing them. It's really allows you to enjoy life more.

MAX out your 401k. Even beyond the company match. The most you can deposit is around 18k a year right now. This sounds like a lot, but it won't be a lot forever. You will make more money eventually. Work hard to try to meet that 18k every year. (the limit will likely go up in future years) The big thing is that it goes in PRE-TAX. This is a huge thing, since it would have been taxed at somewhere between 25-35% depending on your income rate. Thats like getting a return of 25% right off the bat. S…

It's pretty accurate from my experience. It seemed that the only kids that even considered mathematics or physics for careers were the ones that had IQs > 130. I only knew two that went for mathematics in my class and they were > 140.

I'm with you there. If you edge up your age range a bit, and slide down your attractiveness needs a bit, you get a girl that is perfectly serviceable, but thinks she is lucky to have you. You on the other hand, don't give a shit if she leaves, because you can do better, and start exhibiting alpha behavior. You can pretty much fuck her 6 ways from Sunday and tell her to go make you a damn sandwich afterward, and she will happily do it. Once you get comfortable in your alpha role, you can start mo…

As I stated before, I don't believe that is always the case, and I don't think you have reasonable scientific evidence to back up your claim. Yes, some may be more toward the feminine on the spectrum of masculine/feminine, but I certainly don't think it is a binary on/off switch for gay.
/r/TheRedPill10/09/14 01:44 PM

The stupid one is the one that is scientifically invalid. I think the science is overwhelmingly in favor of there being behavioral sex differences due to genetics and prenatal maternal hormones. I'm not convinced that the "born that way" is fully valid. My theory is that may be the case in some circumstances, but I think others are because the young boys were molested by men and their early sexual experiences were encoded as homosexual. Perhaps sometimes they were already leaning that way due to…

The -1 point was for those over IQ of 145, not 130. IQ over 130 is about the top 2% or 3%. Over 145 is somewhere close to the top .02%. The problem is that people can't keep up and don't get all your references and jokes, and when they don't, they just think you talk about weird things, and automatically peg you into a lower social class. The other problem is that asperger's type personaility traits correlate with high IQ, so there is a lot of overlap. Granted, there are those that have high IQ …

Hah. True enough. But I think Mensa self selects for those types. The ones that aren't awkward geeks may have a larger social circle and not feel the need for a social club like Mensa. I think a good number of them are very aware of the typical social conventions, but don't see a good reason to follow them (as they are usually somewhat irrational). I think that is a aspergersy form of being overly rational.

I don't think this is necessarily always the case. I've dated a girl with an IQ pushing 150, and didn't seem to have that issue. I really enjoyed being able to make a reference to pretty much anything and not having to explain it. I didn't have the irrationality... but did have to put up with a feminist worldview. That was mostly parental upbringing, more than personality.

See my reply to /u/ButterMyBiscuit. I'd also like to find it controlled for the age of the guy. Much of the data looks at the age of the woman at first marriage. I suspect that the data for men is similar.

I tend to agree with this. There needs to be a good method of keeping a good set of women ready on the side, not in order to 'cheat' on your girlfriend, assuming you are exclusive, but in order to make sure she knows that you can leave at any time, and that she can't take you for granted.

I think your third sentence really was insightful. He bared his soul to her, and it turned her off. Women appear to be just as likely to cause DV, but the difference is that the 50th percentile man is stronger than the 99.9 percentile woman. That means, if you took a middle of the road man (average), and tried to find a random woman stronger than him, you would need to pick over 1000 women until you randomly found one that was stronger. Blows the mind that the difference is so great. Men can inflict much more damage with their bare hands than women can.

I am still trying to figure this one out. I'm trying to get them to be non-reactive, but it is difficult. Kids tend to make big deals out of stupid stuff. Seconded, brother! I have my kids 1/2 the time AND have a full time job (45+ hours a week). Once the kids are out of diapers, the amount of work it takes to clean the house, cook and take care of the kids is maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the work of the full time job. Homemakers without kids or with kids in school have it easy.

There are a lot of things people can do to make themselves more attractive... but some people just have serious ugly issues that tanning and a dapper outfit won't help much. I understood your original point, howe…

Be smart AND funny See also: Be handsome. Be attractive. Don't be unattractive. Even though I have smart and funny in spades, I feel bad when I see this advice. You have to understand that smart is genetic. You either have it or you don't. Funny can be improved, but even that is influenced by the 'smart' factor. BUT, I totally agree with the awesomeness of post-argument sex.

Don't worry about it. She won't be the last girl you have sex with. Not. even. close.

We need to maintain a list of politicians that understand, and ones that do not. That way people that understand and feel the same way know who to vote for and who to avoid.

She is living in the same house with the kids. Why isn't she paying him child support?

This is so obscene it makes me shake in anger. They need to teach this to boys in school. There is NO REASON to support a woman financially. If you do, she can walk away whenever she wants and do this to you, making you a part time slave for her.

I had to do the same thing. The lawyer told me straight out, "you're gonna fight it and end up losing anyway. You might as well take what you can get." It's totally biased against men. Partly because women feel entitled to not work while the man provides. And for some reason the man is penalized for it.

It's not justice, but at least it's not prolonging the wrong.

Omg he was defrauded and is being made a part time slave! He is being forced to labor for over a decade because a fraud perpetrated on him! This is a god damn outrage. Why isn't this on the national news? How do we fix this? Can we have the judge disbarred and recalled? If anyone wants to collect money for a billboard or tv ad calling for Judge Gregory Pollack's recall or impeechment, I will donate.

Why the hell isn't she required to register as a sex offender? Lets review: She texted explicitly about sex with a minor. She showed up at his house with condoms. She attempted to have sex with him without his consent.

Holy crap this is amazingly accurate. Your ideas intrigue me and I'd like to subscribe to your newsletter. It explains why girls think "guys are only interested in sex". Its because the guys they are going after are out of their league, but guys are not below taking less attractive girl for a one night stand... just not long term. But it makes the girl think "I could have done better", and makes them more likely to dump the good guy they already have. Combine this with a paycheck from child supp…

This is horrid. The amount of money awarded to him is a pittance compared to what happened to him. This kind of thing makes me wish there was a hell for people like her.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
