Honesty and lying

I find that lying takes time and energy to maintain. Keeping the story straight is work, especially if I start tailoring stories to specific situations (or women). The truth also eventually comes out and it's almost always worse for me than if I'd just owned up in the first place.

For strictly practical reasons, I rarely lie.

Lying is evasive, weak behavior. I am extremely straightforward with women. Be stoic and unafraid of her reaction.

I lie constantly. Especially to women. The less truth people know about me the better.

My inner circle of bros, the guys I deployed with, my best friends? They've earned the right to know the truth.

Be selective with what you say and reveal, it's best to keep everything on a need to know basis

TRP is amoral so if you're looking for people to tell you if lying is right or wrong here, you're wasting your time. Having said that, it depends.

Lying in a Machiavellian context can prove to be useful. Lies can also be difficult to maintain. Weigh the pros and cons of lies you seek to tell.

all like poker: manage information for your advantage with no regard to truth/lies. On another mental level what is true but sensitive keep guarded no matter what because you can't un-reveal anything.
