As i said to someone else, I just love to cook and would cook for any friend coming over, regardless of gender.

Thank you for the advice. I am pretty good at picking up gaslighting now, and in our friendship he's never presented as someone who would. But i will be mindful of it.

He's a very generous friend from I can see - and well respected in his/our friendship group. Its more like I think he was always there but I was only dating toxic/lv people that I didnt see him I guess? Not so much hiding, more like I was oblivious to him and his good qualities til I got into FDS and started to notice.

I hope it checks him, but honestly either this guy is so egotistical he's a joke, or a troll.

I read this!!! The OP made some DISGUSTING comments on his post when people universally called him out as an asshole. One comment essentially said he was realising that she 'wasn't on his level' Disgusting pig.

I do much the same. I acknowledge the thought, reflect to see what triggered it, and remind myself of the reasons we broke up and were not a good couple.

Take that man. Put him in the trash. Set the trash can on fire. Walk away.

I can't speak for FDS but I can speak to my own experience. My ex has bipolar type 2 (also called cyclothemia). Basically more rapid turn around between the up and down. The relationship was really hard. Managing his mania and depressive episodes were really stressful. It became toxic really quick at times. But, while he went to therapy (after we'd been together a year and i said its therapy or I'm out) he refused medication. My ex sort of burried head in the sand and I was just expected to acce…

This advice! Also, activate and/or build a support network of strong women around you. When I broke up with my boyfriend of two years after finally accepting he won't commit no matter how much I love him, my support network got me through. I'd message them when I was crying, or when I was fighting the urge to text him, or just when I felt lonely as he and I talked every day so it left a huge hole in my day. Invest in yourself too! Look into new hobbies. I picked up yoga and I love it. I started …

I did a writing course with a subject called 'writing for children and teenagers'. I was 18 at the time, and there was a guy in the class who was 60. He wrote a chapter of his young adult novel, and the dialogue was so stiff and formal - not how teens talk. We did a feedback feature every week, and so my feedback was you need to workshop the dialogue because teens and young adults don't talk like that and you'll alienate your audience. He cut me off and explained to me that his dialogue was grea…

Thats so fucked up. I'm sorry men have been creepy, and that women vilified you for it. You deserve better from those adults.

This!! It sickens me. I work in Education with teenagers. I work with teenage girls. Whenever some scrote talks about a school girl fantasy I picture the children (yes they are children under the age of 18, heck even then at 18 they still kids) I teach and its just... no. Its fucking disgusting.

Rant incoming! I didn't feel like this deserved a thread but I HAD to get it out. So I came to more realisations about how LV my ex is. I've been trying to get my spare keys back from him all week. We broke up 2 months ago, and I need my keys to give to my friend who is cat sitting for me as I am going away tomorrow for my first holiday in FOREVER. We have made plans and he's rescheduled me 3 times now. "Oh something came up can I drop them off at 6 tonight?" "Oh shoot, I forgot I had plans can …

Honestly all the couples of 90Day Fiance are toxic as fuuuuuck. Like, I can't think of a single couple in this current season who I think are decent towards each other.

See I take BC for management of a health condition, so I always made it very clear to my partners that this medication is for ME not you. Once a dude I was dating found out and was like 'yeah no condoms!' And I had to explain he would still wrap it regardless. That didn't last long.

Haha i should make that quote my home screen. Better to have a dildo than a leech. And I know, I am working to a point where if I don't meet anyone I can still have the life I want (a child/family) on my own comfortably.

Me too honestly. He was such a narcissistic person. My next partner after that, who I've just left as he wasn't going to give me what I want in life, treated me a bit better but was still not treating me good enough. My hope is this subreddit will help give me the boost I need to find someone actually worth me.

With my ex husband, meeting in the middle was me supporting him for 3 months financially on my teachers wage while he looked after his sick mum, then going on a 4 day drug binge when she was able to move back to her own home and I had to be ok with it because of the stress of caring for her. Keep in mind, when I was home I was still doing the cleaning, and her care as well, not to mention the emotional outlet for everyone in his extended family. Plus all the outside of hours work that comes with…

100%. He was so self absorbed. Such a gross individual. So many toxic and LVM on that show.

He's from a season of 90 Day Fiance and the way he treated his girlfriend, Rose, was absolutely disgusting! Made me so angry watching him. At one point he gives her like tooth brush, paste and mouth wash because her breath is AND I QUOTE "not pretty". Turns out she had a stomach ulcer which was causing the breath. He continually acted like his status as an American made him hot shit and because he was considering marrying her and 'saving her' from a life in the Philippines. Spoiler alert she end…
